Hello, I'm Grace for Tonight's Sleep Psalm by Prey dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and twelve
before we receive God's word. Let's focus on calming our
mind and body and releasing any fears and worries we
are carrying with us from the day into the night.

(03:30):
Know the Lord is gracious and compassionate and wants to
lift our burdens and give us rest. Focus on relaxing
your body by controlling your breathing. Close your eyes and
take a deep, cleansing breath. Tense a specific area of

(03:50):
your body. Once your lungs are completely filled with air.
Hold your breath for a few seconds, exhales slowly and
relax the tense area. Take a few more deep breaths.
With each breath, focus on contracting and relaxing a different

(04:12):
area of the body. Breathe in and out slowly. With
your next exhale, release any tension in your muscles. Feel
your body softened from your head to your toes. As
your body relaxes, it is time to quiet your mind

(04:33):
to help you hear God's voice tonight. Open your eyes
and choose a focal point in your room. Stare at
a specific spot on the wall or on the ceiling
as you take deep breaths. Try to concentrate on that
specific area in your room, pushing all other thoughts aside.

(04:58):
With your final exhale, release any stress and anxiety that
is distracting you from the focal point. Allow God to
lift your burdens and help you focus your mind on him.
Take one more deep breath, close your eyes and exhale slowly.

(05:19):
Get ready to listen to God's word. To Night's Psalm
tells us we are blest when we fear the Lord
and take delight in his word. So let's put our
trust in God and rest safely and securely in his hands.
Psalm one twelve from the King James version says, praise ye,

(05:42):
the Lord blessed is the man that feareth, the Lord
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be
mighty upon the earth. The generation of the Upright shall
be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house,
and his righteousness endureth forever. Unto the Upright, there ariseth

(06:04):
light in the darkness. He is gracious and full of
compassion and righteous. A good man sheweth favor and lendeth.
He will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he shall
not be moved forever. Though righteous shall be an everlasting remembrance.
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings. His heart

(06:27):
is fixed trusting in the Lord. His heart is established.
He shall not be afraid until he sees his desire
upon his enemies. He hath dispersed, he hath given to
the poor. His righteousness endureth forever. His horn shall be
exalted with honor. The wicked shall see it and be grieved.

(06:49):
He shall gnash with his teeth and melt away. The
desire of the wicked shall perish on the darkest of nights.
God's light will shine upon you and will guide your
feet onto his path as you meditate on his word.
Reflecting on the Lord's commandments fills your heart with joy, hope,

(07:11):
and peace. Meditate on His truth and know His ways
are higher than yours. Know his ways will lead to
a wonderful place where He will pour out his blessing
and favor upon you. Take delight in the word of
the Lord, and you will find rest in His joy

(07:33):
and peace. Take a deep breath as your chest rises.
Think about all the news you read and watch. Think
about the ways it increases your fears. Feel your anxiety
level begin to rise as you think of the chaos
in this world. Exhale slowly and feel the Lord strike

(07:58):
down your fears and worries. Feel his sovereign hands secure
the righteous and triumph over the wicked. Feel your heart
settle as you remain steadfast in the Lord. Allow his
presence to fill you and strengthen you. Confess any fears

(08:19):
that are holding you back from doing the work God
has called you to do. Acknowledge any fears that are
keeping you from enjoying the life He has given you.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Lift your
fears to the Lord. Exhale slowly and surrender to God

(08:40):
in whom there is no fear. Breathe in his perfect love.
Breathe out your worries and doubts. Know the righteousness of
the Lord covers you like a blanket, keeping you safe
and secure through the night. Rejoice in the righteousness of
the Lord. Thank Him for his salvation that saves you

(09:04):
to day and secures you tomorrow. Thank Him for the
blessings he has given you. Think of a person who
is struggling with fear right now. Pray God will lift
their spirit and strike down their fears. Pray they will
put their trust in Him and find peaceful rest for

(09:26):
their mind, body, and soul. Lay your requests before the Lord.
Know he hears the prayers of those who love him
and seek him. So tonight. Seek Him and his ways,
and ask for his provision and protection over your life.

(09:46):
Pray for God to guard your mind and heart in
Him and his word. Pray you will have the strength
to walk with Him and follow Him all the days
of your life. Pray for God to bless you and
your family. Pray you will be generous with what he
gives you out of love for him and for others.

(10:07):
Pray for God to deliver you from your fears. Pray
you will dwell in his safety tonight. Take a deep breath.
Exhale any stress and tension that is still lingering from today.
Allow the Lord's hand to guide you down his path
where you can rest safely and securely in Him throughout

(10:30):
the night.
