Speaker 2 (02:46):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleepsalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and thirteen.
Breathe in and out slowly. Sit straight up in a
chair or straight against a wall. Make sure your back
is flat and straight and your shoulders are rolled back.
(03:11):
Take a deep breath, open up your chest and heart.
Exhale slowly and release any tension in your body. Focus
your thoughts on God. Meditate on his love, on his compassion.
Think about the ways He cares for the vulnerable and
(03:33):
the oppressed. Know he cares for you too. Cast your
anxieties on him, and allow him to lead you to
a safe, quiet place where you can rest. God's word
reminds us God does not look at what the world
looks at when it comes to our value. He does
(03:53):
not exalt the ideas and people the world exalts. So
to night, find and comfort in knowing the Lord loves you,
and he will lift you up in due time. Psalm
one hundred thirteen from the King James version says, Praise
ye the Lord. Praise O ye, servants of the Lord.
(04:16):
Praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name
of the Lord. From this time forth and forevermore, from
the rising of the sun unto the going down of
the same, the Lord's name is to be praised. The
Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above
the heavens. Who is like unto the Lord our God,
(04:38):
who dwelleth on high, who humbleth himself to behold the
things that are in heaven and in the earth. He
raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth
the needy out of the dunghill, that he may set
him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house and to
(05:00):
be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.
As the sun sets, Rejoice in the name of the Lord.
Humble yourself before him, and he will lift you up
in his glory. Know he will lift you up in
your time of need and restore you. Know he keeps
(05:22):
watch over you to preserve you through the night. Breathe
in and out slowly. Bask in the glory of the Lord.
Imagine his glory resting in the heavens above and bringing
light to your darkness. Take a deep breath. Feel the
(05:43):
joy of the Lord fill your lungs, breathing new life
into you. As you exhale, feel the light of his
glory rest upon you, and his joy flow throughout you,
warming your body and lightning your heart. Take a deep breath.
(06:04):
Visualize the Lord's hands lifting you high above the noise
of the world and the troubles of this life. Exhale
slowly and feel the heaviness of this world, of this
life come off your shoulders. Relax in your body, calm
in your mind. Take another deep breath. Allow the Lord
(06:29):
to fill you with his provision. Breathe out and allow
his provision to satisfy your soul. Think of a time
when you were distracted by the ways of the world
and you neglected to do the work of the Lord.
Think of opportunities you missed to care for the oppressed
(06:50):
and vulnerable. Ask God for his forgiveness. Ask for him
to transform your desires into his desires. Take a deep breath.
Be filled with his love. And mercy. Exhale slowly and
release any sin and shame you are still holding on.
(07:12):
To surrender your heart to the Lord, and he will
fill you with his joy and peace. Think of a
difficult time when you needed God to provide for you physically, emotionally,
or financially, and He was faithful to help you and
deliver you. Thank Him for the ways he has provided
(07:36):
for you. Thank Him for the good gifts he has
given you. Think of a person who needs God's provision tonight.
Pray the Lord will intervene in their circumstances and bless
them with what they need. Pray they will be satisfied
with what the Lord gives them. Lift the desires of
(07:58):
your heart to the Lord.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Lord.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Know he cares for you and wants to give you
good things. Just put your trust in him and wait
expectantly to see what the Lord will do in you,
through you, and for you. Pray for the vulnerable and oppressed.
Pray for God to show you what you can do
to care for them like he does. Pray for those
(08:24):
who are struggling to have children. Pray God will open
a door and fulfill the desires of their heart. Pray
for provision in your life. Pray for God to meet
your needs and for you to find satisfaction in what
He provides. Breathe in and out slowly. Relax your neck
(08:49):
and shoulders, soften your fingers and toes. Take a deep breath.
Be filled with the hope of God, knowing he will
care for you and sustain you through the night. Exhale
slowly and release any stress and tension that will hinder
(09:10):
you from experiencing deep, peaceful rest. Allow God's peace to
wash over you and refresh your mind, body, and soul
as you sleep.
