not against me. The seas, for all their force steals,
split at your command. For all there might the mountains steal.
Flee like lambs when you roar. I sleep without fear tonight,

(01:00):
for the lion of judiars behind me. I can have
courage because the creator of the cosmos is on my
side suddenly in this reality. Tonight, as I sleep, give
me fresh fire tomorrow as I rise with the morning light,

(01:28):
I am more than a conqueror in Christ. Give me
confidence as I sleep, and strength when I wake. In
Jesus's name, I pray Amen. Thank you for praying with me.

Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's Sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one and fourteen. Take
a deep breath and invite the presence of the Lord
into your space. Exhale slowly and allow his presence to
fill you with peace and to fill your room with

(03:08):
his glory. Feel the warmth of his presence, See the
light of his glory. Relax in his strength. Close your
eyes and focus on the areas of your body that
are tense. With each breath, focus on contracting and relaxing

(03:29):
a different area of your body to help you prepare
for sleep. Take a deep breath tense one of your
muscle groups. Hold your breath for a few seconds. Exhale slowly,
contracting your muscles, releasing any stress and tension in your body.

(03:52):
Take a few more deep breaths and focus on relaxing
your body from your head to your fingers and toes.
Breathe in and out slowly as your body relaxes and
your heart settles. Get ready to meditate on God's word,

(04:13):
clear your mind of any distractions, and ask God to
speak to you. Through Tonight's psalm, the Bible reminds us
God can bring life out of the most difficult moments
we face. No matter how hard our journey may be,
we can rest assured that God is with us every
step of the way, providing for us, protecting us, and

(04:38):
preserving us. Psalm one hundred and fourteen from the King
James version says, when Israel went out of Egypt the
house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah
was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw
it and fled. Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped

(05:02):
like rams, and the little hills like lambs. What ailed
thee O thou see that thou flttest thou Jordan, that
thou wast driven back, ye mountains that ye skipped like rams,
and ye little hills like lambs. Tremble thou earth at
the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the

(05:23):
God of Jacob, which turned the rock into standing water,
the flint into a fountain of waters. Tonight's psalm paints
a picture of God's power and strength all of creation
trembles at his presence, recognizing he is the almighty, sovereign Lord.

(05:43):
With his strength and power, he can help us overcome
any obstacles we encounter on our journey. His power and strength,
we can find rest for our soul and renewal for
our spirit. Breathe and owl slowly. Close your eyes and

(06:04):
imagine traveling through a desert without water, a barren land
filled with rocks. Feel the agony of thirst with each
step you take. Now, imagine traveling through this desert with
the Lord by your side. Watch as he turns a
rock into a fountain of waters, quenching your thirst, bringing

(06:30):
life into the dead land. Know that whatever rock is
in your way, he can turn it into a fountain
of opportunity, where his provision will satisfy you and bring
you new life. Take a deep breath and know the
Lord is on this journey with you. Exhale slowly and

(06:54):
feel his strength restore you and his peace refresh you.
Think of a time when you grumbled and complained about
your circumstances. Think of a time when you were angry
with God because of the difficulties you were facing. Confess
any anger you may still be holding on to confess

(07:16):
any ungratefulness in your heart. Ask God to forgive you.
Ask Him to transform your heart with his thanksgiving and praise.
Breathe in and out slowly, Allow God's love and grace
to flow through you, refreshing your mind, body, and soul.

(07:38):
Know He came to bring you a life filled with hope,
joy and peace, even in the middle of difficult seasons.
Think of the times when God helped you and delivered you.
Praise Him for his goodness and faithfulness. Rejoice in his
power and strength. Thank him for the ways he has

(08:02):
provided for you. Thank him for the times he has
rescued you and redeemed you. Think of a person who
needs God to deliver them from difficult circumstances or from
their fears and worries. Pray He will intervene on their behalf.
Pray they will put their trust in God and find

(08:24):
rest in his promises. Lift your requests to the Lord.
Remember you are praying to the Almighty God whose hands
created the mountains and separated the seas. The same God
that delivered the Israelites out of Egypt can deliver you
to day. Put your confidence in him. Pray for God's

(08:48):
help in a specific area of your life. Pray he
will deliver you from your troubles and your fears and worries.
Pray for God's provision in your pray. He will quench
your thirst tonight and supply your daily bread tomorrow. Pray

(09:09):
for God's protection as you sleep. Pray his mighty hands
will keep you warm and safe throughout the night. Take
a deep breath, be filled with the powerful presence of
the Lord. Exhale slowly and release any stress and tension

(09:29):
that is still lingering from today. Close your eyes and
be still to experience the Lord's peace. Allow his presence
to soothe your soul and relax your mind and body
as you prepare to rest.
