Speaker 2 (03:11):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and fifteen.
Focus your thoughts on God. Meditate on his love, on
his faithfulness. Know He cares for you and wants to

(03:32):
give you rest. With your next breath, lift your burdens
to God. Surrender your stress and anxiety from today. Let
go of anything that is hindering you from resting peacefully.
As God lifts your burdens, feel your shoulders relax, your

(03:54):
heart lighten, and your mind calm. Take a deep, lensing
breath when your lungs are completely filled with air. Hold
your breath for a few seconds. Exhale slowly, and allow
the oxygen to rejuvenate every cell, every muscle, every joint.

(04:19):
Release any stress in your muscles. Open your mind and
heart to hear God's voice. Allow his word to fill
you with hope, joy and peace. Allow his voice to
lead you to a safe, quiet space where you can
experience deep, RESTful sleep. Tonight, take a deep breath, close

(04:45):
your eyes, and exhale slowly as we listen to tonight's psalm.
Let's find comfort in knowing God will always care for
us and protect us. Never have to be afraid, because
He will never abandon us, nor will he ever forget us.

(05:08):
Psalm one hundred fifteen from the King James version says,
not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto
thy name. Give glory for thy mercy and for thy
truth's sake. Wherefore should the Heathens say, where is now
their God? But our God is in the heavens. He

(05:29):
hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Their idols are silver
and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths,
but they speak not. Eyes have they but they see not.
They have ears, but they hear not noses have they
but they smell not? They have hands, but they handle

(05:50):
not feet have they but they walk not neither speak
They through their throat. They that make them are like
unto them. So is every one that trusteth in them.
O Israel, trust thou in the Lord. He is their
help and their shield. O house of Error, trust in

(06:11):
the Lord. He is their help and their shield. Ye
that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord. He is
their help and their shield. The Lord hath been mindful
of us. He will bless us. He will bless the
house of Israel, He will bless the house of Erin.
He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small

(06:33):
and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more.
You and your children, Ye are blest of the Lord,
which made heaven and earth. The heavens, even the heavens
are the Lords. But the earth hath he given to
the children of men. The dead Praise not the Lord,

(06:54):
neither any that go down in silence. But we will
bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
Praise the Lord. Even on the darkest nights. We do
not have to be afraid, because we know we serve
the one true God. We can rest peacefully tonight, knowing

(07:16):
God is always with us, caring for us, and protecting us.
Take a deep breath. Bask in the presence of the Lord.
Exhale slowly and allow his blessing and favor to be
poured upon you. Feel your heart fill with thanksgiving and praise.

(07:39):
Rejoice in the Lord's faithfulness. Rejoice in his love. With
your next breath, be filled with the joy of the Lord.
As you exhale, allow His joy to flow through you,
restoring you and keeping you warm through the night. Take

(08:01):
another deep breath. Put your trust in the Lord. Look
to him for help. Exhale slowly and release any fears
and worries. Know the Lord covers you like a shield,
defending you and protecting you against the darkness in this world.

(08:22):
Rest securely in his hands. Reflect on your priorities in
life and the things or the people that matter the
most to you. Think if any one or any thing
comes before God in your life. Confess any idols you worship,

(08:42):
Ask for his forgiveness, Ask for him to help you.
Put Him above all other things and people in your life.
Take a deep breath, Be filled with His love and grace.
Exhale slowly and to render any guilt and shame you
are carrying with you. Know the Lord is faithful to

(09:06):
forgive and faithful to love you. Always think of the
good things God has given you in life. Thank Him
for the blessings you have received. Thank Him for his
unfailing love and kindness. Rejoice in His Holy name. Think

(09:27):
of a person who needs their eyes and ears open
to the word of God. Pray God will soften their
heart and reveal himself to them. Pray God will open
their mind and help their unbelief. The Lord always remembers
us and hears our prayers. Know he will answer them

(09:49):
in his timing. Lay your requests before the Lord. Ask
for his provision for tomorrow and his protection for to night.
Pray for God to bless you and your family. Pray
he will help you serve Him and praise Him every
day and night. Pray for God to deliver you from

(10:12):
your struggles and sin. Pray he will lead you down
his path of life and righteousness to a quiet place
where you can rest throughout the night. Pray for God
to keep you and your family safe as you sleep.
Pray Ye will shield you from the darkness of the night,

(10:34):
Take a deep breath. Exhale slowly and release any tension
that is still lingering from to day. Relax your neck
and shoulders, soften your fingers and toes. Breathe in and
out slowly as you drift off to sleep. Allow God's

(10:58):
hope to comfort you, his joy to warm your heart,
and his peace to help you rest.
