a heart full of gratitude and praise. I get thanks

pray that your faithfulness continues to shine upon me every day.
As stars hang over the firmament like a blanket, I

(00:49):
am reminded of your covering and provision over my life.
Bless me tonight I sleep, drape a sheet of your
favor over me. I ask that you bless all nations
and peoples, and may we all come to know and

(01:12):
love you as our Lord and Savior. Praise be to
you Lord, now and forevermore, in Jesus' name. Amen, Thank

(01:35):

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Hello, I'm grace for tonight's sleep song by pray dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and seventeen.
Take a deep, cleansing breath. When your chest fully expands,
hold your breath for a few seconds. Axhale slowly and

(02:54):
release any stress in your muscles and tension in your joints.
Relax your neck and shoulders. Rest your hands gently by
your side or on your lap. Soften your fingers and toes.
Focus on the mighty power, strength, and love of God.

(03:16):
Know his love has been poured upon this earth and
lavished upon his children and upon you. Breathe in and
out slowly. Feel the warmth of His love reach the
crown of your head and the bottom of your feet.
As you ponder his great love. Feel your heart swell

(03:39):
with thanksgiving and pride. With each heart beat, gratitude flows
through your veins, relaxing your body and mind, renewing your spirit,
refreshing your soul. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Allow the clean air to fill your lungs, exhale slowly

(04:05):
and surrender to the Lord, ready to receive his word.
Tonight's Psalm teaches us our prayers and praises don't have
to be long or filled with many words. We can
simply lift our spirits and praise God for who he
is in just a few short sentences and still experience

(04:28):
his joy and peace as we lay down to rest.
Psalm one hundred seventeen from the King James version says, Oh,
praise the Lord, all ye nations, Praise him, all ye people,
for his merciful kindness is great toward us, and the
truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.

(04:52):
Before bedtime, spend a few moments thinking of a few
words that describe God's goodness and love for us. Meditate
on his truth that endures forever. Meditate on his mercy
that is new for us every morning. Meditate on his
sovereignty that reminds us he has the whole world in

(05:14):
his hands. Rest in his love and faithfulness. Breathe in
and out slowly, close your eyes and imagine every tribe,
every nation proclaiming Jesus is Lord. See all the beautiful,

(05:35):
diverse people gathered together to celebrate the wonderful love of
the Lord. Know his great love extends to the skies,
and his faithfulness reaches the heavens. In the darkness of
this world, sometimes we forget who the real enemy is.

(05:55):
We forget the Lord loves all people, and we forget
he wants everyone to come to him. And when we
lose sight of God's love for all people, for every nation,
we can attack the wrong enemy and slander the people
God is wanting to save. Tonight, just take a deep

(06:17):
breath and lift any slander that has left your tongue
and any anger you have against your brothers and sisters
to God. Confess how hard it is to love your
neighbor who doesn't see the way you do because they
haven't experienced the love of God. Pray God will forgive

(06:38):
you for your mistakes and help you be a light
in the darkness of this world, a light that will
guide people to His love and salvation. Rejoice in the
goodness and faithfulness of the Lord. Praise his great love
for you for the world. Thank Him for the times

(06:59):
he has shown you. Thank him for the gift of
his salvation. Think of a person who needs to experience
God's love tonight. Pray he will draw them near to
him and warm their hearts with his joy. Pray his
love for them will shine brightly in the darkness of

(07:19):
the night. Lay your requests at the feet of the Lord.
Trust his love for you know he has your best
interest at heart as he considers each of your requests.
Pray for God to help those who are being persecuted
because of him. Pray he will comfort them with his

(07:41):
love and guide them with his truth. Pray for God
to help you love the people. Pray for God to
help you love people the way he does. Pray for
you to see others from his perspective and pray for
the opportunity to share the good news with them. Pray

(08:03):
for God to help find rest in his presence to night.
Pray he will fill your heart with his joy to
rejuvenate you and his peace to refresh you. Take a
deep breath, lift your heart to the Lord, lift your
spirit to praise him. Exhale slowly, and allow his love

(08:26):
to comfort you as you sleep.
