glory of the earth remind me of your ever lasting power.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's Sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and eighteen
as you prepare to receive God's word. Relax your body
and mind by retreating to a quiet space free of
distractions and getting in a comfortable position. Maintain a good

(03:08):
posture with your back flat and straight, your chest open,
and your shoulders back. Take a deep, cleansing breath. Feel
the stress in your muscles. Exhale slowly and release the
tension to relax your body. Take a few deep breaths

(03:30):
and focus on relaxing a different muscle group until you
soften your body from your head to your fingers and toes.
With your next exhale, surrender any anxious thoughts to God.
Reflect on who God is. Know he is your helper
who keeps you from falling. Know he is your strength

(03:54):
that sustains you through the day and night. Know He
is your redeemer who loves you and rescues you. The
Bible reminds us we serve the same God who delivered Israel,
the same God who came to rescue us, and the
same God that redeems and restores us in the end. Tonight,

(04:16):
Let's rest securely in God's love for us, knowing his
love never fails and his nature never changes. Psalm one
hundred eighteen from the King James version says, Oh, give
thanks unto the Lord, for he is good. Because his
mercy endureth forever. Let Israel now say that his mercy

(04:41):
endureth forever. Let the House of Eron now say that
his mercy endureth forever. Let them now that fear the Lord,
say that his mercy endureth forever. I called upon the
Lord in distress. The Lord answered me and set me
in a large place. The Lord is on my side.

(05:03):
I will not fear what can man do unto me.
The Lord taketh my part with them that helped me.
Therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to
put confidence in man. It is better to trust in
the Lord than to put confidence in princes. All nations

(05:27):
compassed me about, But in the name of the Lord
will I destroy them they compassed me about. Yea, they
compassed me about. But in the name of the Lord,
I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees.
They are quenched as the fire of thorns. For in
the name of the Lord, I will destroy them. Thou

(05:49):
hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall, But
the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song,
and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and
salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous. The right
hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. The right hand of

(06:10):
the Lord is exalted. The right hand of the Lord
doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live and declare
the works of the Lord. The Lord hath chastened me sore,
but he hath not given me over unto death. Open
to me the gates of righteousness. I will go into them,

(06:31):
and I will praise the Lord. This gait of the
Lord into which the righteous shall enter, I will praise Thee,
for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
The stone which the builders refuse is becoming the headstone
of the corner. This is the Lord's doing. It is
marvelous in our eyes This is the day which the

(06:54):
Lord hath made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Save now I beseech thee O Lord, O Lord, I
beseech thee Send now prosperity. Blessed be he that cometh
in the name of the Lord. We have blessed you
out of the house of the Lord. God is the
Lord which hath shewed us.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Light.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Bind the sacrifice with chords, even unto the horns of
the altar. Thou art my God, and I will praise
thee Thou art my God, and I will exalt thee O.
Give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, for
his mercy endureth forever. In a chaotic world where everything

(07:39):
is always changing, we can find comfort and peace in
knowing God's love endures forever and his nature is eternal.
Imagine his unfailing love and unchanging nature covering you like
a security blanket, keeping you safe and warm as you sleep.

(08:00):
Strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Know
he is your strength and defense. Inhale slowly and be
filled with the strength of the Lord. Exhale slowly and
feel his strength spread throughout your body, rejuvenating you and
restoring you. Take a deep breath, lift your fears and

(08:24):
worries to the Lord. Put your trust in him. As
you exhale and your chest falls, Imagine God's mighty hands
striking down your fears and worries, freeing you from the
things that weigh you down. Know the Lord is with you,
so nothing and no one can rise against you. Allow

(08:48):
his mighty hands to lead you to a quiet space
where you can take refuge in Him and rest peacefully
throughout the night. Confess any fears and doubts that are
keeping you from experiencing God's hope, joy, and peace. Acknowledge
your weaknesses and your need for His love and strength

(09:12):
with your next exile. Release any sin and shame that
is hindering you from living in the freedom given by
the salvation of the Lord. Be still before the Lord
and know he is your God, and you are His beloved,
his chosen, his child. Rejoice and be glad in the

(09:35):
day the Lord has given you. Thank Him for the
blessings you receive today, no matter how great or small.
Thank Him for the ways he has helped you today.
Thank Him for the mighty ways he has moved in
your life. Think of a person who needs to experience
the joy of God's goodness. Pray they will focus their

(09:59):
thoughts on God and feel the light of his presence.
Pray God's love will soften their heart and his glory
will lighten their spirit. Cry out to the Lord. Know
he will save you and deliver you. Know he will
help you in troubled times, and he will bless you

(10:20):
in prosperous times. Pray for God to move in a
mighty way in your life or your community. Pray his
glory will be revealed so that others may come to
know him. Pray for God to bless you with success
and favor in a specific area of your life. Pray

(10:41):
your desires will align with his. Pray for God to
sustain you and strengthen you with his right hand. As
you lay down to rest tonight, pray he will keep
you in his perfect peace as you sleep. Breathe in
the goodness of the Lord. Breathe in his strength. Breathe

(11:03):
out any stress and tension that is still lingering from
to day. Relax your neck and shoulders, close your eyes,
and bask in His glory. Allow His light to shine
upon you, keeping you warm and safe throughout the night.
