Translate these groans into desperate songs of praise. Meet me

Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep psalm by Prey dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm thirteen tonight. Let's relax
our body and quiet our minds so that we can
be still before the Lord and allow his comfort and
peace to fill our mind, body, and soul. Whether you

(03:21):
are lying down or sitting up, keep your back straight,
relax your neck and shoulders, and soften your fingers and
your toes. Take deep breaths inhale and exhale slowly through
your nose. Try to control your breathing to slow down

(03:42):
your heart rate and to soothe your muscles. As you
breathe in and out, Concentrate on a part of your
body that remains tense and stiff with each new breath.
Focus on relaxing that specific area of the body. Focus
on God's ability to rejuvenate your body. Take a deep

(04:06):
breath and exhale slowly. Focus on opening your mind and
heart to hear God's voice. Quiet the noise in your mind.
Ask God to remove any distractions in your head that
is keeping you from hearing his voice. Take a few

(04:27):
deep breaths until you feel your heart settle. Tell God
you are ready to listen to his word and that
you are ready to find rest in Him. Tonight, in
the silence of the night, it is easy to feel
the depth of our sorrow and anguish in our soul.

(04:49):
It is easy for the stress of the day to
overwhelm us. We may feel alone and forgotten in these moments.
Find comfort and strength in God's word to help us
sleep peacefully through the night. Psalm thirteen from the King

(05:09):
James's version says, how long wilt thou forget me, O
Lord forever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having
sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall mine enemy
be exalted over me? Consider and hear me, O Lord,

(05:31):
my God, lighten mine eyes lest I sleep the sleep
of death. Lest mine enemy say I have prevailed against him,
and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
But I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall
rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord

(05:53):
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. Meditating on God's
word before going to sleep at night can calm your
soul and ease your mind. It can help you focus
on God and leave the stress of the day behind.
His word can nourish your body and fill your heart

(06:14):
with joy and peace. His word is a reminder he
is always with you, even when he feels far from you. Tonight,
ask him to draw you near. Seek his face and
bask in his presence. Breathe in and out. Relax your body,

(06:38):
release any tension you may have. Take a deep breath
and allow his peace to wash over you. Take delight
in his word. Trust in his unfailing love. Find joy
in his salvation. Rejoice in the Lord, for he has

(07:00):
good to you. In him, you will find hope and
strength that will ease your mind and help you rest.
Close your eyes and imagine God's strength sustaining you through
the night. Know he will help you face whatever tomorrow brings.
Focus on finding your rest in him. Tonight. Breathe in

(07:24):
and feel his comfort spread over you like a blanket
keeping you warm and safe. Breathe out and feel him
relieve your stress, renew your spirit, and refresh your soul.
Breathe in and out. Think of a time when you

(07:45):
struggled with waiting on God's timing and you took your
own path. Confess when you have looked to the things
of this world to give you joy and satisfaction. Ask
God to help you be patient and wait for His
timing and to help you find joy in Him alone.

(08:06):
Take a deep breath and allow his forgiveness to wash
over you as you breathe out. Let go of your
guilt and shame. Surrender to God's love and find inner
peace and rest. Praise God for the prayers he has
answered in your life. Thank God for the salvation he

(08:28):
freely gives you. Praise Him for all the good things
in your life. Think of someone who is waiting for
a prayer to be answered tonight. Pray God will give
them patience and peace as they wait on His timing.
Pray for his intervention in their life. Tell God about

(08:50):
what is troubling you. Cast your worries and anxieties on him.
Pray over your circumstances and ask for his help Pray
for patience and peace as you wait on the Lord.
Pray for protection over you and your family as you sleep.

(09:12):
Pray for your friends and family to receive his salvation.
Pray his love will be evident to all. Take a
deep breath. Release any stress that is lingering from today.
Relinquish your control to him. Feel the comfort of his presence.

(09:35):
Allow his salvation to bring you joy and his word
to bring you hope and peace. Breathe in and out
slowly as your body relaxes. Allow God to refresh your
soul and help you rest through the night.
