(00:27):
I am mindful tonight of your greatness. You touch the
mountains and they up with power. Lightning follows your direction
like a bow from an arrow. You stretch your hand
from on high, rescue the old pressed, and cast judgment
on the old pressor nothing, and I mean nothing, is

(00:52):
beyond your ability. So I pray confidently tonight, asking for
rest and strength to conquer tomorrow. I pray for a
sharp mind and a firm foundation. I want to passionately
attack the morning and greet the new day refreshed by

(01:14):
your spirit. There is much to be done, in many
battles to be won. I pray for power in the
name of your Sun. Amen. I'm Bishop TD Jakes, inviting

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and forty four.
Take a deep breath. Feel the stress in your muscles
and joints. Focus on contracting different parts of your body
as you hold your breath for a few seconds. Exhale

(02:56):
slowly and release the tension in your body, relaxing you,
preparing you to meditate on God's word. Focus your thoughts
on God, reflect on who he is. Know he is
your rock you can stand on in the middle of
the storm. He is your shield that covers you with

(03:18):
his protection, and he is your stronghold in times of trouble.
Know the Almighty God is powerful enough and strong enough
to carry your burdens. He wants you to put your
trust in Him so that he can give you rest.
Bring your stress and anxiety to the Lord and lay

(03:40):
it at his feet. Know he wants to give you
a life filled with hope, joy and peace. Take a
deep breath, surrender to the Lord. Exhale slowly and listen
for his still small voice to speak to you through
his word. The Bible reminds us God will help and

(04:03):
bless those who put their hope and trust in Him
to night. Find rest for your soul when you put
your confidence in the power and strength of the Lord.
Psalm one hundred forty four from the King James version says,
Blessed be the Lord, my strength, which teacheth my hands
to war, and my fingers to fight, my goodness, and

(04:27):
my fortress, my high tower, and my deliverer, my shield.
And he in whom I trust, who subdueth my people
under me. Lord, What is man that thou takest knowledge
of him? Or the son of man that thou makest
account of him? Man is like to vanity. His days

(04:49):
are as a shadow that passeth away. Bow thy heavens,
o Lord, and come down. Touch the mountains and they
shall smoke. Cast forth lightning and scatter them. Shoot out
thine arrows and destroy them. Send Thine hand from above,
rid me and deliver me out of great waters from

(05:09):
the land of strange children whose mouth speaketh vanity, and
their right hand is a right hand of falsehood. I
will sing a new song unto thee O God, upon
a psultree and an instrument of ten strings, will I
sing praises unto thee. It is he that giveth salvation
unto kings who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword,

(05:33):
rid me and deliver me from the hand of strange
children whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is
a right hand of falsehood. That our sons may be
as plants grow up in their youth, That our daughters
may be as corner stones polished after the similitude of
a palace. That our garners may be full, affording all

(05:56):
manner of store. That our sheep may bring forth thousands
and tens of thousands in our streets. That our oxen
may be strong to labor, that there be no breaking
in nor going out, that there be no complaining in
our streets. Happy is that people, that is in such

(06:16):
a case, yea happy is that people whose God is
the Lord. Meditate on the power and strength of the Lord.
Meditate on his sovereignty. Know his power he will defend
you and deliver you. Know in his strength he will
uphold you and sustain you. In his sovereignty you can

(06:40):
put your trust and find rest knowing He is in
complete control of the circumstances in our world and in
your life. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
See the mighty waters rise against you. As you exhale,
feel the hands of God reach down and rescue you

(07:03):
from the rage of the seas. Dwell in his fortress.
Stand firm on the rock of your salvation. Rest safely
and securely in the hands of the Lord. Believe no
harm will come to you as you sleep. Breathe in
and out slowly, Take refuge in the Lord. Lift your

(07:28):
spirit and praise the one who gives you victory, the
one who delivers you from the rising waters and the
crashing waves. In the calm after the storm, he will
pour out his blessing upon you, satisfying you with his provision.
Think of a time when you are struggling and God

(07:50):
did not deliver you right away. Reflect on any doubts
or anger that formed in your mind and heart during
this time. Confess any bitterness and resentment you may have
towards God. Confess any trust you lost in Him. Ask
God to help you be content in Him, whether you

(08:11):
have plenty or you are in need. Take deep breath,
allow His love and grace to wash over you. Exhale slowly,
and release any doubts that are still lingering. Ask God
to help you. Put your trust in him. Know the

(08:32):
Lord will overflow your cup with blessings when you depend
upon him. Rejoice in the power and strength of the Lord.
Rejoice in his faithfulness. Thank Him for his provision and
protection in your life. Thank Him for being your rock
you can count on. Thank Him for the blessings he

(08:53):
has given you. Think of a person who needs God's
help tonight. Pray God but will deliver them from their troubles.
Pray God will restore them and replenish their needs with
his provision. Come before the Lord and lay your requests
before him. Ask him to pour out his blessing and

(09:15):
favor upon you and your family. Know the eyes of
the Lord are on you as one of his righteous,
and his ears are attentive to your prayers. Pray for
the Lord's deliverance in your life. Pray he will deliver
you from your fears and worries and from your troubles.

(09:35):
Pray you will put your trust in Him as you
wait for his help. Pray for the Lord's provision in
your life. Pray you will find satisfaction in what He provides.
Pray for the Lord's protection tonight as you sleep, Pray
he will keep watch over you and sustain you through

(09:57):
the night. Take a deep breath. As you exhale, release
any tension and stress that is still lingering from to day.
Relax your neck and shoulders. Feel your body softened and
your mind settle. As your body relaxes, allow God to

(10:18):
refresh your soul and bring you peace to help you
rest through the night.
