Speaker 2 (02:28):
Hello, I'm grace for tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and forty five.
Prepare to receive God's word by relaxing your body. Lie
down flat on your back with your arms resting by
your side. Relax your neck and shoulders. Take a deep breath.
(02:52):
As you exhale, release the stress in your muscles and joints.
Soften your body from your head to your fingers and toes.
Take a deep breath and clear your mind of any distractions.
As you exhale, focus your thoughts on God. Meditate on
(03:13):
his faithfulness, on his promises. Know he always fulfills his
vows and honors his commitments to those who love him
and seek him. Take a deep breath, put your trust
in the Lord. Exhale slowly, releasing your stress and anxiety
(03:33):
from today, and trusting in his promise to alleviate your
burdens and give you rest for your soul. Open your
heart to hear God's voice. Listen to his word, and
experience the joy and hope that can only be found
in the Lord. Allow his joy to warm your heart
(03:56):
and his hope to lift your spirit. Get ready to
receive God's word. To Night's psalm reminds us God is
full of love and compassion, and like so many before us,
he wants to satisfy us in his provision and give
us rest in his strength. Psalm one hundred forty five
(04:18):
from the King James version says, I will extol THEE,
my God, O King, and I will bless thy name
forever and ever. Every day will I bless THEE, And
I will praise thy name forever and ever. Great is
the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness
(04:39):
is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another,
and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of
the glorious honor of thy majesty and of thy wondrous works.
And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts,
and I will declare thy greatness. They shall rebundantly utter
(05:00):
the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of
thy righteousness. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion,
slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is
good to all, and his tender mercies are over all
his works. All thy works shall praise Thee, O Lord,
(05:21):
and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of
the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power
to make known the sons of men, his mighty acts,
and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is
an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
(05:42):
The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all
those that bow down. The Eyes of all weigh upon thee,
and Thou givest them their meat. In due season. Thou
openest thine hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy
(06:04):
in all his works. The Lord is nigh unto all
them that call upon him, to all that call upon him.
In truth, he will fulfill the desire of them that
fear him. He also will hear their cry and will
save them. The Lord preserveth all them that love him,
but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall
(06:26):
speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh
bless his holy name forever and ever lift your spirit
and exalt the King of kings, the Lord of Lords.
Rejoice in his holy name. Remember what you have been
told of His power and might, of his love and compassion.
(06:49):
Hold unto these stories as you lay down to sleep,
and allow them to fill you with his hope, peace
and joy, Knowing, just like those before you, he will
carry you through the darkest of nights and rejoice with
you in the brightest of days. Take a deep breath,
(07:10):
bow down before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Look to the Lord for your provision as you exhale.
Put your trust in him, believing he will give you
what you need at the right time. Find satisfaction in
his provision and rest in his hands. Acknowledge any unconfessed sin.
(07:34):
Repent of any ways that do not align with the
word of the Lord. Know the Lord will uphold you
when you stumble and lift you when you fall. Take
a deep breath, be filled with the forgiveness of the Lord.
Exhale slowly, and release any guilt and shame you are
(07:55):
carrying with you tonight. Know the Lord's righteousness vindicates you.
Know he is a compassionate father who is slow to
anger and abounding in love. And to night. You can
find rest in the richness of his love. Rejoice in
the goodness of the Lord. Rejoice in his righteousness. Thank
(08:20):
him for his grace that saves you and his love
that sustains you. Thank him for the ways he has
blessed you with his provision. Thank him for the desires
he has fulfilled in your life. Think of a person
who needs to experience God's provision to night. Pray he
(08:40):
will abundantly provide for their needs and pour his favor
upon their family. Pray they will find satisfaction in his
provision and rest in his faithfulness. Call on the name
of the Lord, and he will come to you and
hear your prayers. Lay your requests before him. Lift the
(09:03):
desires of your heart to him. Know he will always
do what is best for you and meet all your
needs in his glorious riches. Pray for the next generation
of believers. Pray God will give you the opportunity to
pass your faith on to the children and young adults
in your life. Pray for your and your loved one's
(09:27):
needs to be met in his provision. Pray he will
fulfill the desires of your heart and satisfy your soul.
Pray for protection over you and your family, Pray he
will deliver you from evil during the day and keep
watch over you during the night. Breathe in and out
(09:49):
slowly as your body relaxes. Allow God to refresh your
soul and bring you peace to help you rest through
the night.
