I am lost in amazement at the beauty of your handiwork. Father,
your creation is a symphony of majesty. Every element is
meticulously placed, every color perfectly coordinated, and every motion choreograph

(01:15):
to praise your name. The mountains declare your glory, the
ocean's chant your power, and the stars reveal your infinite wisdom. Lord.
I ask that at this moment you would envelop me
in a peacecept surpasses all understanding, and would sustain me

(01:40):
through every night and bring me renewed strength each morning.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Psalm by Prey dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and forty eight.
Get in a comfortable position, whether you are lying down
or sitting up. Maintain good posture, keeping your back flat
and straight. Take a deep, cleansing breath. Feel the clean

(03:30):
air fill your lungs. Exhale slowly, allowing the oxygen to
flow throughout your body, cleansing you, renewing you. Take a
few deep breaths. With each inhale, contract a different area
of your body. With each exhale, relax, the same area

(03:53):
of your body breed in and out, contracting and relaxing
every muscle group until the tension in your body is gone.
Relax your neck and shoulders, Soften your fingers and toes.
Meditate on the holiness and the splendor of the Lord.

(04:17):
Know his glory rests in the heavens, but it shines
upon your face. Allow his light to chase the darkness
of the night. Rest safely and securely in his mighty hands.
Open your mind and heart to hear God's word. Allow

(04:38):
Tonight's song of praise to fill your heart with joy
and peace. To night. Lift your spirit and worship the Lord,
and be filled with His joy and peace as you
prepare for rest. Psalm one hundred forty eight from the
King James's version says, Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye

(05:03):
the Lord from the heavens. Praise him in the heights.
Praise ye him all his angels, Praise ye him all
his hosts. Praise ye him, Sun and Moon, praise him
all ye stars of light. Praise him ye heavens of heavens,
and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them

(05:25):
praise the name of the Lord. For he commanded and
they were created. He hath also established them forever and
ever he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
Praise the Lord from the earth, ye, dragons and all deeps,
fire and hail, snow and vapors, stormy wind, fulfilling his word,

(05:50):
mountains and all hills, fruitful trees, and all cedars, beasts
and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl, Kings of
the earth, and all people, princes and all judges of
the earth. Both young men and maidens, old men and children.

(06:10):
Let them praise the name of the Lord. For his
name alone is excellent. His glory is above the earth
and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people.
The praise of all his saints, even the children of Israel,
a people near unto him, Praise Ye the Lord. God's

(06:31):
word reminds us. We praise and worship him because he
is the sovereign Lord, the creator of the heavens and
the earth. His hands that establish the angels and separate
the skies from the waters are the same hands that
control the wind and the rain, and rule over the
kings and the rulers of the earth. Put your trust

(06:55):
in the sovereignty of the Lord, and know in his
hands you are safe and secure. In the middle of life.
Storms in his hands, you can rest peacefully through the night.
Breathe in and out slowly. Close your eyes and visualize

(07:17):
different parts of God's creation praising their creator. Hear the
sweet songs of the birds singing him praise. See the
tree's branches sway back and forth, dancing to the music
of the birds. Feel the wind rustling through the leaves,
blowing the feathers of the birds, adding its own song

(07:41):
to their praise. Smell the fresh fruit hanging from the tree,
its sweetness, proclaiming the sweetness of God's commands. Touch the
child on the head who is nearby standing in awe
of the beauty of God's creation. Open your eyes and

(08:01):
take a deep breath. Bask in the glory of the Lord,
his glory revealed in all of creation. Exhale and feel
his glory rest upon you, warming your heart and brightening
your spirit. Rest in the light of His presence. When

(08:23):
we pray, we tend to focus on asking God to
take care of our needs and wants, rather than praising
who He is. Knowing Him is a gift to us.
Confess the seasons in your life when you neglected to
praise God. Confess any ungratefulness in your heart. Pray for

(08:45):
him to remind you of the glorious riches you have
in him. Rejoice in the name of the Lord. Praise
the wonderful works of his hands. Thank the Lord for
his goodness and faith in your life. Thank him for
his righteousness that saves you and secures your future with him.

(09:09):
Think of a person who is struggling to experience the
joy of the Lord. Pray God will gently remind them
who he is and fill their hearts with his thanksgiving
and praise. Pray they will focus on God and his
goodness rather than on the difficulties in life. Lift your

(09:31):
requests to the Lord. Tell him about your needs and wants.
Tell him the desires of your heart. Be satisfied with
his provision for you. Pray for the Lord to give
you the courage and opportunity to share his glory with others.
Pray you will lead others into His light. Pray for

(09:56):
the Lord to fill your heart with praise and thanksgiving
even when life is hard. Pray you will put your
trust in Him and focus on who He is. In
the darkest of nights, breathe in and out slowly as
your body relaxes allow God to refresh your soul and

(10:21):
bring you peace to help you rest through the night.
