with me everywhere I go. From the moment I rise

Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm twenty three this evening.
You are not alone. Know the Lord is by your side,
ready to guide you through his word, ready to comfort
you as you lay down to sleep. To prepare to
(03:11):
receive God's word and comfort, let's relax your body, mind,
and soul and focus your thoughts on Him. First, get
comfortable by laying down on your bed or sitting up
in your favorite chair. Whether you are lying down or
sitting up, be sure to keep your back straight. Take
(03:35):
a deep breath, relax your neck and shoulders. Take another
deep breath as you exhale, release any tension in your body.
Breathe in and out. Close your eyes and focus on God.
(03:56):
Picture him as your shepherd that knows you, cares for you,
and loves you. Picture yourself as one of his sheep,
looking to him for provision, protection and peace. Know he
can give you everything you need to find rest tonight.
Just breathe in and out and surrender to him. In
(04:21):
this sweet surrender, lift today's worries and anxieties to him.
Feel him take the weight off your shoulders. Feel your
body soften at his touch. Breathe in and out as
your body relaxes. Focus on opening your heart to hear
(04:43):
God's voice. Listen to your heartbeat and focus on inhaling
and exhaling slowly until your heart rate slows down. As
your heart rate settles, ask for him to speak to
you tonight. Allow his still small voice to soothe your
(05:04):
soul and guide you down a safe, secure path where
you can find rest. The Bible describes the Lord as
your shepherd to night, lean on him and depend upon
him to provide you protection and peace as you sleep.
Psalm twenty three from the King James version says, the
(05:28):
Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He maketh
me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me
beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. He leadeth
me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. YEA,
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
(05:48):
I will fear no evil, For thou art with me.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest
a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
Thou anointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over. Surely,
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of
(06:09):
my life, and I will dwell in the house of
the Lord forever. In the Bible, a shepherd was responsible
for providing, guiding, and protecting their sheep. Just like a
good shepherd, we can rest assured that the Lord will
give us provision, guidance, and protection as we sleep. Breathe
(06:32):
then and out slowly. Watch your chest rise and fall
with each new breath. Imagine the Lord breathing new life
in you, revitalizing your body and renewing your mind. As
you exhale, release your fears and worries to God. Know
(06:55):
he will provide what you need. Just focus on finding
rest in him. Breathe in and out, close your eyes,
and imagine the Lord taking you by the hand and
leading you to luscious green pastures where you can gently
lay your head and feel the delight of His creation.
(07:19):
He guides you along the path of life and leads
you beside quiet waters that refresh your soul. Breathe the inn
and out slowly. Relax your body, be completely still and
soak in His joy and peace. Open your eyes and
(07:42):
see the darkness that surrounds you. No, God is with you.
He is your light in the darkness. In him you
can dwell in safety until morning comes. Breathe then and out.
Confess a time when you doubt it the Lord's provision,
(08:04):
guidance and protection in your life. Ask for his forgiveness
and put your trust in him to night. Take a
deep breath and be filled with his peace. As you
breathe out. Let go of your guilt and shame. Surrender
to God's love and be comforted by his grace. Rejoice
(08:27):
in God's provision in your life. Thank Him for everything
he has given you. Thank him for the times he
has protected you. Think of some one who needs to
experience God's provision, guidance and protection tonight. Pray God will
draw them near to Him and comfort them as they rest.
(08:50):
Lay your requests before God. Cast all your cares and
anxieties on him, for He takes delight in caring for you.
Pray for God's provision in your life. Pray he will
take care of your needs and help you sleep well
to night. Pray for God's guidance in your life. Pray
(09:12):
he will lead you down a safe, secure path that
will bring you life and rest. Pray for God's protection
over you and your family. Pray he will keep watch
over you during the night like a good shepherd watches
over his sheep. As you go to sleep, know you
(09:33):
will dwell safely in the Lord through the night. Take
a deep breath. When you exhale, release any tension and
stress that is still lingering from to day. Relax your
neck and shoulders. Feel your body soften and your mind settle.
(09:54):
As your body relaxes, allow God to refresh your soul
and bring you peace to help you rest through the night.
