Speaker 2 (02:27):
Hello, I'm grace for tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm twenty five. As you
prepare for sleep tonight, Invite God into your space. Invite
him to speak to you through his word. Invite him
to refresh your soul and renew your spirit through his truth.

(02:52):
As you get comfortable and do some breathing exercises, listen
for God's voice to lead you down as secure path
that leads you to a joyous life and peaceful rest.
Lay down flat on your bed or sit straight up
in your chair. Maintain good posture by relaxing your neck

(03:16):
and shoulders and keeping your back straight. Take a deep breath.
Inhale and exhale slowly through your nose to breathe deeper
and slower, easing the tension in your body. Breathe in

(03:37):
and out slowly with each inhale, allow your chest to
fully expand hold that breath for a couple of seconds,
and then release by exhaling slowly. With your next exhale,
release the stress in your muscles. Feel your body soften

(03:59):
from your head to your toes. Breathe in and out,
close your eyes and meditate on God's promises. Know he
will never break them. Know you can always count on
Him to help you. Every day and every night. He

(04:22):
works on our behalf so that we may rest. Breathe
in and out with your next exhale, release any doubts
you have of God's goodness and faithfulness. Reflect on all
the wonderful things He has done in your life. Open

(04:44):
your eyes and believe He will give you rest. He
will help you and deliver you from your worries and anxieties.
Take a deep breath and open your heart to Him tonight.
The Bible tells us we can find rest when we
put our hope and trust in the Lord. Psalm twenty

(05:08):
five from the King James's version says, unto THEE, O Lord,
do I lift up my soul, O my God, I
trust in THEE. Let me not be ashamed. Let not
mine enemies triumph over me. YEA, Let none that wait
on THEE be ashamed. Let them be ashamed. Which trench

(05:29):
gress without cause? Shew me thy ways, O Lord, teach
me thy paths, Lead me in thy truth and teach me,
for thou art the God of my salvation. On thee
do I wait all the day, Remember, o Lord, thy
tender mercies and thy loving kindness, for they have been

(05:52):
ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions according to thy mercy. Remember thou me
for thy goodness sake, O Lord. Good and upright is
the Lord. Therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek

(06:13):
will he teach his way. All the paths of the
Lord are mercy and truth. Unto such as keep his
covenant and his testimonies. For thy name's sake, O Lord,
pardon mine iniquity, for it is great. What man is
he that feareth the Lord Him? Shall he teach in

(06:34):
the way that he shall choose. His soul shall dwell
at ease, and his seed shall inherit the earth. The
secret of the Lord is with them that fear him,
and he will shew them his covenant. Mine eyes are
ever toward the Lord, for he shall pluck my feet
out of the net. Turn thee unto me, and have

(06:56):
mercy upon me, for I am desolate and afflicted. The
troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring thou me
out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain,
and forgive all my sins. Consider mine enemies, for they
are many, and they hate me with cruel hatred. Oh

(07:21):
keep my soul and deliver me. Let me not be ashamed,
for I put my trust in THEE. Let integrity and
uprightness preserve me, for I wait on THEE. Redeem Israel,
O God out of all his troubles. To night, keep

(07:42):
your eyes on the Lord and look to Him to
relieve you of your stress and anxiety from to day.
Allow Him to guide you to a safe, secure place
where you can rest in Him peacefully. To clear your mind,
focus on your breathing. Breathe then and out slowly, allow

(08:06):
your chest to fully expand hold your breath for a
few seconds and exhale. Feel your chest rise. Think of
rising above the stress and the noise from to day.
Feel your chest fall. Think of your stress and anxiety

(08:27):
being struck down by God's strength. Breathe then and out.
Close your eyes and invite God's presence as you sleep.
Allow his goodness to seep into your soul. Feel his
love come over you. In his faithfulness, He will protect

(08:49):
you and keep watch over you as you sleep through
the night. Bask in his presence. May his peace calm
your mind and settle your heart. Breathe then and out.
Feel the hope of the Lord comfort you as you
relax your body. Acknowledge any unconfessed sin in your life.

(09:15):
Ask God to forgive you of your iniquities. Pray for
Him to take away your guilt and shame. Take a
deep breath and allow His mercy and grace to wash
over you. Know there is no shame for those who
put their hope in the Lord. Surrender to God's love

(09:37):
and find inner peace and rest. Thank God for being
trustworthy and for bringing you hope. Thank Him for being
your redeemer and giving you the gift of salvation. Thank
Him for the times he has protected you and delivered you.
Think of some one who needs God's guidance in their life.

(10:00):
Pray God will lead them to His path of life
and righteousness and will show them his love and grace. Tonight,
lay your requests before God. Cast all your cares and
anxieties on him. Put your hope and trust in Him,
and He will grant your requests. Pray for God to

(10:24):
teach you His ways and to guide you to a
secure path where you can find rest. Pray for God's
protection as you take refuge in Him to night. Pray
for God to relieve you of your stress and anxiety
so that you can experience deep, peaceful rest as you

(10:45):
go to sleep, Allow your hope and trust in God
to ease your mind and relax your body. Take deep breath.
When you exhale, release any tension and stress that is
still lingering from to day. Relax your neck and shoulders.

(11:05):
Feel your body soften and your mind settle. As your
body relaxes, allow God to refresh your soul and bring
you peace to help you rest through the night.
