Speaker 1 (00:05):
But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory,
the one who lifts my head high Psalm three three.
Dar Lord, you are my rest and my refuge. When

(00:30):
the night comes and the sun's light has faded, thoughts
of anxiety often come to steal my peace. Fear of
the future, and regret from the past consume my mind
like a storm. Save me, o, Lord, from every thought

(00:51):
that seeks to steal my peace, and you give me
rest in your saving grace. Reassure me of your mercy
that awaits me in the morning. Though the day has
had its burdens and tomorrow will have new challenges, I

(01:17):
have confidence in your ability to sustain me, deliver me
from anxiety, and help me to sleep peacefully. In Jesus' name,
I pray Amen, Thank you for praying with me. I'm

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Hello, I'm grace for tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on song three. As you lay down,
relax your shoulders, rest your arms by your side, and
take a few deep breaths. Release any tension in your body.

(03:00):
Close your eyes and breathe in and out slowly. Clear
your mind and focus your thoughts on God. Remember who
he is, the all powerful, sovereign one that knows you,
seize you, loves you, and sustains you. Focus on his promises,

(03:25):
on his faithfulness. Take a deep breath. When you breathe in,
allow your lungs to completely fill with air before exhaling
when you breathe out. Release the stress and tension in
your muscles. As your body relaxes, focus on opening your

(03:48):
mind and heart to hear God's voice. Listen to your
heart beat and focus on breathing in and out slowly
until your heart rate slows down. As you get ready
to meditate on God's word, ask for him to speak
to you to night. Listen for his still small voice

(04:12):
to lead you down a safe, secure path that leads
to peaceful rest. To night. You can find rest in
knowing God hears your prayers and He is in complete
control over every circumstance of your life. You can find
assurance in knowing He will deliver you from your troubles.

(04:35):
Just put your trust in Him and His blessing will
be upon you. Psalm three from the King James's version says, Lord,
how are they increased that trouble me? Many are they
that rise up against me? Many there be which save
my soul? There is no help for him in God. Saylah,

(05:00):
But thou, o, Lord, art a shield for me, my
glory and the lifter up of mine head. I cried
unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me
out of his holy hill, Selah. I laid me down
and slept. I awakened, for the Lord sustained me. I

(05:24):
will not be afraid of ten thousands of people that
have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O, Lord,
save me, o, my God, For thou hast smitten all
mine enemies upon the cheek bone. Thou hast broken the
teeth of the ungodly salvation belongeth unto the Lord. Thy

(05:49):
blessing is upon thy people, Selah. When the worries of
this life keep us up at night. We know we
can cry out to the Lord, and he we will
hear our cries and deliver us from our troubles. We
can sleep peacefully because God is always with us, sustaining

(06:09):
us and protecting us, and He is always working on
our behalf. He is for us, so nothing and no
one can be against us. Control your breathing. Breathe in
and out slowly. Feel your chest rise as you take
a deep breath. As you inhale, imagine rising above your enemies,

(06:35):
above your circumstances, surrounded by God's protection, covered by his shield.
When you exhale, release your worries and fears. Feel your
muscles relax and your joints soften. Breathe in and out.

(06:56):
Close your eyes and focus on God's own unlimited power
and strength to protect you, sustain you, and defend you.
Know there is no battle or obstacle too big for
God to overcome. Allow the Lord to sustain you with
his power and strength. As you lie down to sleep,

(07:20):
Breathe in and out slowly. Relax, Close your eyes and
imagine God sitting on his throne, powerful, almighty and sovereign,
working on your behalf to give you rest. Praise him
for his faithfulness to see us through the hardships in life.

(07:45):
Think about times when you allowed worry and anxiety to
keep you up at night rather than putting your trust
in God. Confess when you have tried to overcome your
troubles on your own. Take a deep breath and be
filled with His forgiveness. As you breathe out, let go

(08:06):
of your guilt and shame. Surrender to God's love and
find inner peace and rest. Praise Him for the times
he has delivered you from your troubles. Praise Him for
the rest you are able to find in Him during
a crisis. Praise Him for the ways he has protected
you throughout your life. Think of some one you know

(08:30):
who is facing a crisis and is doubting the goodness
of God. Pray God will protect them and give them
peace to help them find rest. To night, lay your
requests before God. Cast all your cares and anxieties on him.
Believe in his sovereignty and wait for him to answer expectantly.

(08:56):
Pray God will deliver you from your troubles. Pray for
his peace to sustain you through the night. As you
lie down to sleep, Pray God will use difficult times
to draw you and others closer to Him so that
you can find rest in Him. Pray God will reveal

(09:17):
his truth to those who oppose you. Pray they will
turn to God. Pray God will help you find comfort
and hope in His protection and peace. To night, take
a deep breath. As you exhale, release any tension and
stress that is still lingering from to day. Relax your

(09:40):
neck and shoulders. Feel your body soften and your mind settle.
As your body relaxes, allow God to refresh your soul
and bring you peace to help you rest through the night.
