the morning, Psalm thirty, verse five. Dear Lord, I know
you are with me in every moment of darkness. There
is no trial or hardship beyond your redemptive work. During
seasons of intense darkness, I put my hope in the

(00:49):
light of heaven. Although the night may be filled with tears,
Joy will meet me in the morning. You will guard
me under your strong tower. You will uplift me and
show me that no sin, shame, or failure is more

(01:12):
potent than your providential love for me. Comfort my soul tonight,
and teach me how to tuck gently into your loving arms.
In Jesus' name, I pray Amen. Thank you for praying

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's Sleep Song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm thirty. Close your eyes
and take a deep breath. Exhale slowly, releasing the air
in your lungs, allowing it to flow to every cell

(02:56):
and every muscle to relax you and rejuvenate you. Take
another deep breath. Visualize God breathing his life into your lungs.
Exhale slowly and allow his life to flow through your veins,

(03:17):
healing you and restoring you. With your next exhale, release
any tension in your body. Relax your neck and shoulders.
Keep your back flat and straight to take the strain
off your muscles and joints. Feel your body soften from

(03:38):
your head to your fingers and toes. Clear your mind
and think of God as your helper. Know he loves you,
hears your cry, delivers you from your fears and worries,
and brings you joy in the night. Allow His hands

(03:59):
to lift your burdens and give you rest. For your
mind body and soul. Open your mind and heart to
hear his voice. Ask for God to speak to you
through his word. Listen to his still small voice that
will bring you rest tonight and joy in the morning.

(04:29):
The Bible reminds us that God is always faithful, even
when he feels far away. Tonight, draw near to him
and allow him to turn your sorrow into joy, your
stress into peace, and your despair into hope. Psalm thirty

(04:50):
from the King James version says, I will extol thee,
O Lord, for thou hast lifted me up, and hast
not made my foes to rejoice over me, O Lord,
my God. I cried unto thee and thou hast healed me,
O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave.

(05:11):
Thou hast kept me alive. That I should not go
down to the pit, sing unto the Lord. O ye
saints of his and give thanks at the remembrance of
his holiness. For his anger endureth, but a moment in
his favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night,

(05:31):
but joy cometh in the morning. And in my prosperity,
I said, I shall never be moved Lord by thy favor.
Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong. Thou didst
hid thy foe, and I was troubled. I cried to Thee,
O Lord, And unto the Lord I made supplication, What

(05:55):
profit is there in my blood? When I go down
to the pit, Shall the dust praise thee? Shall it
declare Thy truth here, o Lord, and have mercy upon me. Lord,
be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my
mourning into dancing. Thou hast put off my sackcloth and

(06:17):
girded me with gladness, to the end that my glory
may sing praise to THEE and not be silent. O Lord,
my God, I will give thanks unto THEE forever. Draw
near to God to night, Allow his presence to help
you rest securely in him. Know he is your helper,

(06:40):
and he is there to help you, not harm you,
and to give you joy and hope for tomorrow. Let's
clear your mind of any distractions so that your spirit
can rejoice in the Lord. Take a deep breath as
you inhale and exhale, watch your chest rise and fall.

(07:03):
Focus on controlling your breathing to slow down your heart
beat and prepare you for sleep. Allow your chest to
fully expand before exhaling. As your chest rises, imagine the
Lord lifting you up out of the pit of despair.
As your chest rises, imagine the Lord lifting you up

(07:28):
out of the pit of despair. With your next exhale,
visualize all your anguish and sorrow leaving your body. Breathe
in His joy and breathe out your stress. Meditate on
the Lord's faithfulness. Know he is with you through the day,

(07:50):
helping you stand firm, and he is with you through
the night, renewing your mind and spirit with his joy
that transcends your troubles. Rejoice in His holy name. Allow
his hope and peace to wash over you. Feel your
body softened and your muscles relax as you focus on

(08:13):
the goodness of God. Think of a time when you
took pride in your own accomplishments and when you found
your security in your success in the world. Confess any
times you did not give God the glory for the
good things in your life. Ask Him to help you

(08:33):
find your security in Him alone, and to help you
measure your success using the same measurement he does. Take
a deep breath, Allow his forgiveness to wash over you.
As you exhale, release any shame you are experiencing. Know

(08:54):
as His child, you have found favor with Him, and
He will continue in you to faithfully work in your life.
Think of a time when you felt God's comfort and
joy in the midst of difficulty. Praise Him for his faithfulness.
Praise Him for his healing presence in your life. Think

(09:16):
of someone who needs to experience God's favor tonight. Pray
God will draw them near to Him to help them rest.
Pray he will deliver them from their difficulties. Lift up
your requests to the Lord. He can carry your burdens
and turn your despair into joy. Tonight, pray God will

(09:40):
guide you tomorrow. Pray you will grant you favor in
everything you do. Pray over an area of your life
where you need God's healing. Pray for Him to restore
you and give you hope. Tonight, Pray God will keep
you safe and secure through the night and help you

(10:02):
sleep peacefully. To rejuvenate your body and keep you healthy.
Take a deep breath as you exhale, Release any tension
and stress that is still lingering from to day. Allow
God's joy to lighten your heart and bring nourishment to
your body. As your body relaxes, allow God to refresh

(10:27):
your soul and renew your spirit with his peace as
you rest through the night.
