Lord tonight, I pray you would settle me in your timing.
I know everything happens in your timing and on your terms.
Creation thumps and beats to your heartbeat. Help me to
march in that same rhythm. Give me a healthy fear
(00:53):
of your majesty and an awe of your greatness, so
I might walk humbly through this life. You frustrate the
plans of prideful people and swallow up the endeavors of evildoers.
Keep me in a fearful reverence of you so that
I can share in the beautiful inheritance of Jesus. Keep

me in a fearful reverence of you so that I
can share in the beautiful inheritance of Jesus.

Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's sleep Song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm thirty three. Focus on
getting in a position where you're body can relax and
your heart and chest are open for optimal breathing. Lie
down flat on your back. Gently rest your arms by
(03:11):
your side, and relax your neck and shoulders. Take a
few deep breaths. With each inhale, allow your lungs to
completely fill with air. With each exhale, feel the air
flow throughout your body. Close your eyes and breathe in
(03:34):
and out slowly. Clear your mind and focus on the
goodness and faithfulness of the Lord. Bask in his presence
and allow his truth to ease your mind and soothe
your soul. Tonight, take a deep breath. Breathe in through
(03:55):
your nose slowly. When your belly full, he expands. Exhale
slowly and release your worries and anxieties to him. Know
he cares for you. Know he came to bring you
a life filled with joy, hope, and peace. Breathe in
(04:19):
and out slowly with your next exhale. Release any tension
in your body. If there is an area that continues
to feel tense, focus on that area of the body
as you take a few deep breaths. Imagine God's word
(04:40):
bringing nourishment to your bones and relaxation to your muscles.
Breathe in and out as your body relaxes. Open your
mind and heart to hear his voice. Ask for him
to reveal his truth to you. His truth will bring
(05:02):
you to a space where you can rest safely and
securely through the night. The Bible reminds us God is
our creator, sovereign, Lord, and deliverer. Tonight we can find
rest in our God that knows us, loves us, and
sustains us through the night. Psalm thirty three from the
(05:27):
King James's version says, rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous,
for praise is comely for the upright. Praise the Lord
with harp sing unto him with the sultry, and an
instrument of ten strings sing unto him. A new song
playskillfully with a loud noise. For the word of the
(05:49):
Lord is right, and all his works are done in truth.
He loveth righteousness and judgment. The earth is full of
the goodness of the life Lord. By the word of
the Lord were the heavens made, and all the host
of them. By the breath of his mouth. He gathereth
the waters of the sea together as a heap. He
(06:12):
layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth
fear the Lord. Let all the inhabitants of the world
stand in awe of him. For he spoke, and it
was done. He commanded, and it stood fast. The Lord
bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought. He maketh
(06:33):
the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel
of the Lord standeth forever the thoughts of his heart
to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is
the Lord, and the people whom he hath chosen for
his own inheritance. The Lord looketh from heaven. He beholdeth
(06:54):
all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation.
He looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He
fashioneth their hearts, alike, he considereth all their works. There
is no king saved by the multitude of an host.
A mighty man is not delivered by much strength, and
(07:16):
horse is a vain thing for safety. Neither shall he
deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of
the Lord is upon them, for that fear Him, upon
them that hope in his mercy, to deliver their soul
from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our
soul waiteth for the Lord. He is our help and
(07:38):
our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because
we have trusted in His holy name. Let thy mercy,
O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
God's word tells us. The same God who spoke the
world into existence is the same God who speaks truth
(07:59):
and love into your life and helps you find rest
in His goodness and faithfulness. Tonight, as you get ready
for sleep, no God's eyes are upon you. He is
watching over you with love and protection, ensuring you have
everything you need to experience deep RESTful sleep. Tonight, put
(08:23):
your hope in him and allow his presence to rejuvenate
your body and refresh your soul. Take a deep breath,
Breathe in and out slowly. Meditate on his truth. Know
his love will never fail you. Know he is your
(08:45):
helper and your shield, ready to protect you from anything
that tries to rise against you. Close your eyes and
imagine God's power resting upon you, his mighty hand keeping
you safe and secure. Open your eyes and breathe in
(09:07):
and out slowly. Look at your bed or chair and
visualize His word being the firm foundation on which you
are resting. Take delight in his promises. Allow his joy
to lighten your heart as you put your hope in him.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
To night.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Think of a time when you doubted God's word. Confess
any doubts you have to day. Ask for his forgiveness
and for him to help you trust in his word.
Take a deep breath through your nose inhil slowly and
allow his grace and love to wash over you. With
(09:50):
your next exhale. Release any guilt and shame you are
holding on to know His love for you never fails.
Rejoice in his Holy name, Meditate on the works of
his hands. Thank him for revealing his truth to you.
Thank him for the times he has helped you and
(10:13):
delivered you from your troubles. Think of someone who needs
to experience God's love tonight. Ask him to reveal his
truth and soften their heart toward him. Tonight, lay out
your requests before the Lord. Know he is your helper
and will intercede on your behalf. Pray God will reveal
(10:38):
his plans for your life. Pray for his guidance and
wisdom as you fulfill the purpose to which He has
called you. Pray God will deliver you from the enemy.
Pray he will sustain you through the day and night.
Pray God will protect you and your family. Tonight, May
(10:59):
His hope bring you comfort. Inhale and exhale. Slowly release
any stress still lingering from to day. As you lie down,
take refuge in God, knowing he is protecting you and
sustaining you. Focus on His presence surrounding you. Feel your
(11:23):
joints softened and your muscles relax. Allow God to refresh
your soul and bring you peace to help you rest
through the night.
