me away from corruption and greed. I want to follow
you with integrity. I want to worship you righteously. Forgive
me for my sins, and believe me from the heaveness
of iniquity. I know you delight in me because you
(01:13):
have freed me from the enemy. Please uphold me, Bless me,
and set me in your presence forever. Uphold me as
I sleep. When I rise, feel me afresh with your spirit.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm forty one before we
listen to God's word. Let's take some time to relax
our body and calm our mind. First, get in a
comfortable position that opens up your chest for optimal breathing.
(03:05):
Lie on your back with your head elevated using a pillow,
and your knees bent for joint support. Place a pillow
under your knees. Take a deep breath, relax your neck
and shoulders, rest your arms gently by your side. Exhale
slowly and release any stress and tension in your muscles.
(03:32):
Clear your mind and focus your thoughts on God. Remember
who he is, your creator that fully knows you, your
savior that fully loves you, and your healer that can
fully restore you. Allow him to carry your burdens so
that you may find rest for your mind, body, and soul.
(03:56):
Take a deep breath and completely surrender to him. In
this sweet surrender, allow yourself to relax, open your mind
at heart to hear his voice. Ask for him to
speak to you through his word. Know he is faithful
to all who seek his wisdom, to all who seek
(04:19):
his face. Ask for his peace as you lay down
to rest tonight. The Bible assures us we will never
have to face difficulties alone, so we can rest assured
that God is always by our side, comforting us and
protecting us through the long nights. Psalm forty one from
(04:43):
the King James's version says, Blessed is he that considereth
the poor. The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and
he shall be blessed upon the earth. And thou wilt
not deliver him unto the w of his enemies. The
Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing. Thou
(05:06):
wilt make all his bed in his sickness, I said, Lord,
be merciful unto me. Heal my soul, for I have
sinned against thee Mine enemies speak evil of me. When
shall he die and his name perish? And if he
come to see me, he speaketh vanity. His heart gathereth
(05:27):
iniquity to itself. When he goeth abroad, he telleth it
all that hate me, whisper together against me? Against me?
Do they devise my hurt an evil disease? Say they
cleaveth fast unto him? And now that he lieth, he
shall rise up no more. Yea mine own familiar friend
(05:49):
in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread,
hath lifted up his heel against me. But thou, o, Lord,
be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I
may requite them. By this, I know that thou favorest me,
because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. And as
(06:10):
for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest
me before thy face. Forever blessed be the Lord God
of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting, Amen and Amen.
God's word reminds us he never leaves us, he never
(06:32):
abandons us. He is always with us. He walks with
us in our greatest trials, and he gives us strength
in our weakest moments. When all seems lost, he reminds
us nothing is ever lost with him. In his power.
He can heal us in his peace. He can comfort us.
(06:56):
In his strength, we can rest securely and safely through
the night. Breathe in and out, close your eyes and
imagine being surrounded by his protection. Nothing and no one
can harm you. His protection preserves you and sustains you
(07:17):
through the day. His healing touch can restore your body
and renew your spirit in the night. Take a deep
breath and imagine being filled with his comfort. As you exhale,
feel his comfort spread throughout your body, easing your mind
(07:38):
and relaxing your fingers and toes. As his comfort spreads
throughout your body, feel the tension in your muscles, relax
and feel your joints soften at his touch. Open your
eyes and know God's presence fills your room. He will
(07:58):
watch over you through the night, guarding your mind and
heart against fear and worry. No victory is yours as
long as you remain in Him. Breathe in and out
with your next exhale. Release any doubts about God's goodness
(08:18):
and any doubts about His good plans for your life.
Be still before Him and know you are set in
His presence forever and ever. Think of a time when
someone you trust had betrayed you. Confess any unforgiveness and
bitterness in your heart. Ask God to help you forgive
(08:41):
as He forgives, Allow his grace and love to wash
over you. Exhale slowly and release any shame you are
holding on to Breathe in and out. Think of a
time when you experienced God's healing. Praise Him for the
miracles he has done in your life. Praise him for
(09:04):
the miracles he will do in your future. Thank Him
for protecting you and sustaining you through difficult times. Think
of someone who needs to experience God's healing for themselves
or for a loved one. Pray for God's hands to
rest on them and restore the parts of the mind
(09:25):
and body that are broken. Cry out to the Lord,
lift up your requests to him. Be patient and wait
expectantly on the Lord to answer. You know he is
your helper and deliverer. Pray for an eternal perspective of
this world and life. Pray you will find hope in
(09:46):
the eternity He has set in your heart. Pray what
is important to God will be important to you. Pray
God will help you love and care for others the
way He loves and cares for you. Pray for healing
over your mind and body. Pray God will restore your
(10:06):
body and renew your mind. Tonight, take a deep breath
inhale and exhale. Slowly release any stress lingering from today.
Find comfort and peace in God's presence. Know he will
watch over you through the night. As your body relaxes
(10:30):
and your mind settles, Allow God to refresh your soul
and bring you peace to help you rest through the night.
