Speaker 2 (02:46):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm forty five. Take a
deep breath inhale and exhales slowly through your nose. Close
your eyes and imagine God's presence filling your room. Allow
(03:09):
his warmth to spread over you like a blanket, relaxing
your body and calming your mind. Breathe in and out.
Lie down flat on your back, spread your arms straight
across with your palms facing up, and relax your neck
(03:30):
and shoulders. Breathe in and out slowly. Look straight up
and fixate on a blank space on the ceiling. To
keep you focused and to help reduce distractions, Take a
deep breath and exhale slowly through your nose. Meditate on
(03:53):
the goodness and the glory of the Lord. Picture him
as the majestic King, rule in truth, humility, and justice,
completely devoted to protecting you and sustaining you through the night.
Breathe in and out, close your eyes, and open your
(04:16):
mind and heart to receive God's word. The Bible uses
the metaphor of marriage to depict Christ's relationship with the Church.
Throughout scripture, Christ is referred to as the bridegroom, and
the Church is referred to as the bride of Christ.
So as you listen to God's word tonight, feel the
(04:40):
joy of a royal wedding as you read about our
glorious future with the King of Kings. Psalm forty five
from the King James version says, my heart is indicting
a good matter. I speak of the things which I
have made, touching the King. My tongue is the pen
(05:00):
of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children
of men. Grace is poured into thy lips. Therefore God
hath blessed THEE forever. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh,
O most Mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. And
in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness
(05:23):
and righteousness. And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies.
Whereby the people fall under thee. Thy throne, O God
is forever and ever. The scepter of thy kingdom is
a right scepter. Thou lovest righteousness and hatest wickedness. Therefore God,
(05:48):
thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness.
Above thy fellows, all thy garments smell of myrrh, and
aloes and cassia. Out of the ivory palaces, whereby they
have made thee glad. King's daughters were among thy honorable
women upon thy right hand did stand the Queen in
(06:09):
gold of O fear. Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and
incline thine ear. Forget also thine own people and thy
father's house. So shall the King greatly desire thy beauty,
for he is thy Lord, and worship thou him. And
the daughter of tears shall be there with the gift.
(06:31):
Even the rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.
The King's daughter is all glorious. Within her clothing is
of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the King
in raiment of needlework. The virgins her companions that follow
her shall be brought unto THEE with gladness and rejoicing.
(06:52):
Shall they be brought, they shall enter into the King's palace.
Instead of thy fathers, shall be thy children, whom they
may ast make princes in all the earth. I will
make thy name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore
shall the people praise THEE forever and ever. The Psalmist
(07:13):
writes a beautiful poem describing a royal wedding that perfectly
illustrates our future with Christ. Just like a bride spends
time preparing herself to be presented to her prince, our
lives are a period of preparation for the day we
are led into the pearly gates to meet our King.
(07:34):
And that day will be beautiful and wonderful as we
finally find our happily. Ever after, focus on your bright future.
Allow your hope in the Lord to renew your spirit.
Take a deep breath, exhale slowly, close your eyes and
(07:54):
think about that glorious day when you will be united
with your Savior. Meditate on the joy and gladness you
will have in your heart as you approach the noble
throne of the almighty King, or he will rule with
his scepter at his right hand. When he will bring
his justice throughout the kingdom, where he will reign forever
(08:17):
and ever. Breathe in the joy of the Lord. Breathe
out any fear or doubts you have. Breathe in his goodness.
Breathe out the stress from to day. Surrender to the
glorious King. Know he came to bring you good things
from above. Breathe then and out. Release any tension in
(08:43):
your muscles. Relax your body. Think of a time where
you doubted God's plans for you. Confess any anger or
envy in your heart. Ask for his forgiveness. Ask God
to help you focus on your bright future with him.
When you are feeling alone and hopeless in your present,
(09:06):
take a deep breath. Exhale slowly, allow his favor to
be poured out upon you. Allow his grace and love
to wash over you. Know he is committed to you
and he will never leave your side. Pray then and out.
(09:28):
Rejoice in the Lord. Thank him for the bright future
he has for you. Praise Him for the perfect righteous
king he is. Think of someone who needs hope tonight.
Pray God will show them the bright future they have
in him. Pray they will be comforted by His joy
(09:48):
and peace as they lay down to rest. Lay your
requests before your Lord. Be confident that He came to
bring you a life and a future filled with hope,
love and peace. Pray over your present. Pray your choices
will honor the Lord. Pray over your future. Pray for
(10:12):
God to direct your steps every day and night to
prepare you for eternity with him. Pray over you and
your family tonight. Pray God will protect you as your
king and lead you to a safe, secure place where
you can find rest. Take a deep breath inhale and
(10:37):
exhale slowly bask in the presence of the Lord. Feel
his glory fill your room, Allow his hope and joy
to lighten your heart, and his peace to wash over you,
helping you sleep through the night.
