Speaker 2 (02:43):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm seventy six. Take a
deep breath, allow your lungs to completely fill with air.
Hold your breath for a few seconds. Breathe out and
(03:05):
feel the oxygen spread throughout your body, cleansing your mind,
body and soul. Clear your mind, and focus your thoughts
on God as the all powerful, sovereign one that sees you,
protects you, and sustains you. He knows your afflictions. He
(03:29):
knows the weight of the burdens you are carrying from
to day. He wants to give you rest tonight. Lift
your burdens to the Lord. Take a deep breath. As
your chest rises, feel his mighty hands lift your fears
and worries. Hold your breath for a few seconds, allow
(03:54):
him to alleviate your stress and anxiety. Exhale slowly and
release any tension in your body. Feel your muscles relax
and your joints soften as you surrender to the Lord.
Take a d breath, open your mind and heart to
(04:17):
receive God's word. Exhale slowly and feel your heart rates
slow down as you relax. Ask God to speak to
you through tonight's palm. Allow his truth to lead you
to a safe, secure place where you can sleep peacefully
(04:38):
through the night. The Bible reminds us God will rescue
us and deliver us from our afflictions. We never have
to worry about facing our troubles alone. Tonight, let's find
comfort in the powerful presence of the sovereign Lord who
will protect us and sustain us through the Psalm seventy
(05:02):
six from the King James version says in Judah is
God known. His name is great in Israel, in Salem.
Also is his tabernacle and his dwelling place in Zion.
There break ye the arrows of the bow, the shield
and the sword, and the battle. Selah, thou art more
(05:25):
glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. The stout
hearted are spoiled. They have slept their sleep, and none
of the men might have found their hands at thy rebuke, O,
God of Jacob. Both the chariot and horse are cast
into a dead sleep. Thou even thou art to be feared,
(05:47):
and who may stand in thy sight? When once thou
art angry, Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven.
The earth feared and was still when God arose to
judgment to save all the meek of the earth. Sellah,
Surely the wrath of men. Surely the wrath of man
shall praise thee the remainder of wrath. Shalt thou restrain,
(06:12):
vow and pay unto the Lord your God. Let all
that be round about him bring presents unto him that
ought to be feared. He shall cut off the spirit
of princes. He is terrible to the kings of the earth.
Meditating on the power and strength of the Lord can
put our minds at ease and help us experience deep,
(06:36):
RESTful peace at night. His power can strike down our fears,
and his strength can carry our burdens, so that we
may find rest. Breathe in and out slowly, bask in
the glory of God. Allow His radiance to shine upon you,
(06:56):
keeping you warm and safe, filling your heart with joy
and peace. Fear God and be in awe of his majesty.
Take a deep breath. Breathe in his beauty and power.
Breathe out any stress and tension. Think of a time
(07:18):
you made a vow to the Lord and did not
fulfill it. Confess any sins before him. Ask for his forgiveness.
Pray he will help you be faithful and keep your
commitments to him. Take a deep breath, Allow his mercy
and love to wash over you. Exhale slowly, and release
(07:43):
any guilt and shame you are carrying with you tonight.
Know his salvation redeems you, and his power and strength
restore you. Rejoice in the power and the strength of
the Lord. Give God the glory for the wonderful things
he has done in your life. Thank him for his
(08:03):
protection and provision. Thank him for his justice that he
brings to our world. Think of someone who needs to
be filled with God's strength tonight. Pray he will give
them strength to face their afflictions. Pray he will draw
them toward Him as they lay down to sleep, and
(08:24):
help them find rest in His protection and provision. Lay
your requests before the Lord. Lift your fears and worries
to him with God's power and strength. Know all things
are possible. Pray the leaders of your country will turn
to God to seek Him and his ways. Pray Ye
(08:47):
will give them wisdom and discernment. Pray God will help
you follow Him and glorify Him in all that you do.
Pray Ye will lead you down His path of life
and life righteousness, so that you may find rest in him.
Pray God will protect you and your family as you sleep.
(09:09):
Pray he will keep you in his perfect peace throughout
the night. Breathe in and out slowly. Rest in the
hands of the Almighty where you are safe and secure.
Take a deep breath and feel the strength of the Lord.
Fill your lungs. Exhale slowly and allow his strength to
(09:34):
spread throughout your body and fill your heart and mind.
As your body relaxes and your mind calms, close your
eyes and allow God to refresh your soul as you
sleep tonight.
