(00:54):
and tired mind from jealousy, bitterness, and pride, and tuck
me into your grace and rocked me slowly in your embrace.

(01:14):
to steal my peace. Help others who are reeling from
the same anxiety. Steady me, Remind me of your goodness

(01:38):
and speak truth to my soul. Wrap me in your

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep song by Pram. We
will be meditating on Psalm seventy nine. Open your mind
and heart to listen to God's word and to hear
his voice. Ask him to help you relax your body
and to remove any anxious thoughts from your mind. Take

(03:18):
a deep breath, allow the power of his presence to
fill you. Exhale slowly and allow his presence to refresh
your body, mind, and soul. Close your eyes and meditate
on God's mercy and love. Think of the times he

(03:38):
has shown mercy to his children. Think of the love
he lavishes on his children. Take a deep breath. Imagine
his love filling your chest and lungs. Exhale slowly and
feel his love flow throughout your body, warming your heart

(04:00):
and soothing your soul. Open your eyes and know God
is with you, willing to carry your burdens and give
you rest. Cast your anxieties on him. Breathe in his peace.
Breathe out any stress and tension in your muscles. Relax

(04:22):
your neck and shoulders, soften your fingers and toes. Breathe
then and out. When our souls cannot find rest because
of injustice, we can lament to God and trust in
Him to make things right. Psalm seventy nine from the

(04:43):
King James version says, O God, the heathen are come
into Thine inheritance Thy holy temple? Have they defiled? They
have laid Jerusalem on heaps. The dead bodies of thy
servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls
of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints, unto the
beasts of the earth. Their blood have they shed like

(05:07):
water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to bury them.
We are become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn
and derision to them that are round about us. How
long Lord wilt thou be angry? Forever shall thy jealousy
burn like fire? Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen

(05:28):
that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that
have not called upon thy name, for they have devoured
Jacob and laid waste his dwelling place. O remembered not
against us former iniquities. Let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us,
for we are brought very low. Help us, O, God

(05:50):
of our salvation, for the glory of thy name, and
deliver us and purge away our sins for thy name's sake.
Wherefore should the heathen and say, where is their God?
Let him be known among the heathen in our sight
by the revenging of the blood of thy servants, which
is shed. By the revenging of the blood of thy servants,

(06:13):
which is shed. Let the sighing of the prisoner come
before thee according to the greatness of Thy power. Preserve
thou those that are appointed to die, and render unto
our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they
have reproached THEE, O Lord. So we thy people and

(06:33):
sheep of thy pasture, will give thee thanks forever, and
will shew forth thy praise to all generations. The Bible
reminds us to not let our anger consume us when
we hear of the injustices happening in our world. Our
anger can become so great that we are tempted to

(06:54):
seek our own type of justice. In these moments of desperation,
can turn to God, lifting our thoughts, surrendering our feelings,
and asking for his help. He will soften our hearts
and comfort our soul In the darkest of nights. Breathe

(07:15):
in and out slowly. Allow His mercy and love to
wash over you. Bask in his glory. Feel his radiant
light shine upon you, keeping you warm and safe. Feel
the darkness lift from your soul. Be consumed with his

(07:35):
praise and glory. Find comfort in his presence. Take a
deep breath as your lungs fill with air. Imagine being
filled with strength and courage from the Lord as the
air flows from your lungs to your body. Feel his strength,
restore every bone in your body, Redeem every thought in

(07:59):
your mind. Meditate on the sovereignty of the Lord. Know
his justice will prevail. Allow this truth to give you
rest to night and hope for your future. Think of
a time when you didn't place your trust in God's
sovereignty and justice. Confess any time you have allowed your

(08:21):
anger to consume you and cause you to sin. Ask
for his forgiveness. Ask for him to help you. Be
patient and wait on him to make things right in
your life and in our world. Take a deep breath,
Allow his forgiveness to take away your guilt and shame.

(08:43):
Exhale slowly and release any feelings of anger and bitterness.
Know he is faithful to forgive. Rejoice in his salvation.
Thank him for his great mercy and love. Thank him
for the times he has helped you and delivered you.

(09:03):
Thank him for his perfect justice he brings to our world.
Think of someone who is struggling with their anger and
needs to experience the hope and peace of the Lord.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Tonight.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Pray God will soften their hearts and give them rest.
Cry out to the Lord. Speak candidly with him. Trust
him with your deepest thoughts and feelings. Ask for his
justice to prevail in an unfair situation. Put your hope
in the Lord and wait expectantly for him to answer

(09:40):
your prayers. Pray for those who are being persecuted because
of the name of Jesus. Pray God will protect them
and keep them in his perfect peace. Tonight, Pray for
deliverance from evil. Pray he will lead you away from temptation.
And will protect you from those who seek to harm you.

(10:03):
Pray for deep, RESTful sleep tonight. Pray God will rejuvenate
your body, refresh your mind, and renew your spirit. Breathe
in and out slowly. Release any stress and tension that
is still lingering from to day. Put your trust in

(10:25):
the Lord. Take a deep breath, allow His hope and
peace to fill you. Exhale slowly and relinquish your control
to God as your mind calmes. Close your eyes and
allow God's hands to rest upon you, guarding your mind

(10:47):
and heart in his word, keeping you safe and secure
throughout the night. As you rest
