want to be stubborn or assume I have all the
answers to life's questions. Your word alone holds power for

(00:55):
perfect peace and sobriety. Speak clearly to me, Lord, amidst
culture's loud and chaos and clamor, grab my ear and
make me listen, for I know your voice will give
me serenity and relaxation. Drown out the noise of the

(01:20):
world so I may focus solely on your word Jesus' name, Amen,
thank you for praying with me. I'm Bishop T. D.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Psalm by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm eighty one. Begin by
taking deep breaths to get your mind, body, and soul
in a relaxed state. Breathed deeply by inhaling and exhaling

(02:50):
through your nose. As you inhale slowly, imagine the air
moving down into your belly, causing it to expand. Your
chest should remain still. Exhale through your nose, pushing your
belly inward, allowing the air to flow freely throughout your body.

(03:15):
With each inhale and exhale, your heart will settle as
your heart rate slows down. Your body will relax as
oxygen reaches every part from your head to your toes.
Your mind will quiet as you focus on your breathing.
Invite God's presence as you prepare for sleep. Close your

(03:39):
eyes and take a deep breath. Imagine your room being
filled with the presence of God. He will give you
a quiet space to rest peacefully. Through the night. Open
your eyes and get ready to listen to tonight's psalm.

(03:59):
Every year there are certain seasons and holidays where we
remind ourselves of the great things God has done for us.
But we don't have to wait until those special times
to worship Him and praise Him for his goodness and faithfulness. Tonight,
let's praise Him in our hearts and remind ourselves who

(04:23):
it is we serve. Psalm eighty one, from the King
James version says, sing aloud, unto God our strength, make
a joyful noise, unto the God of Jacob. Take a psalm,
and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp, with the
psultry blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in

(04:46):
the time appointed on our solemn feast day. For this
was a statute for Israel and the law of the
God of Jacob. This he ordained in Joseph for a
testimony when he went out through the land of Egypt,
where I heard a language that I understood not I
removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were delivered

(05:09):
from the pots. Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee.
I answered thee in the secret place of thunder. I
proved THEE at the waters of Mehrabah Sillah. Here o
my people, and I will testify unto THEE, O Israel.
If thou wilt hearken unto me, there shall no strange

(05:32):
god be in THEE. Neither shalt thou worship any strange God.
I am the Lord, thy God which brought THEE out
of the land of Egypt. Open thy mouth wide, and
I will fill it. But my people would not hearken
to my voice, and Israel would none of me. So

(05:54):
I gave them up unto their own heart's lust, and
they walked in their own councils. Oh that my people
had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways,
I should soon have subdued their enemies and turned my
hand against their adversaries. The haters of the Lord should

(06:15):
have submitted themselves unto him, but their time should have
endured forever. He should have fed them also with the
finest of the wheat and with honey out of the rock.
Should I have satisfied thee. Meditate on the wonderful works
of the Lord. Meditate on his unconditional love, on his

(06:36):
unwavering faithfulness. Remember the times he has lifted you above
your troubles and delivered you from the enemy's grasp. Remember
the times he has protected you even when your heart
was far away from him. Know he is never far
from you. Know he is always waiting for you to

(06:58):
turn to him so that he can pour out his
blessings and favor in your life. And tonight he wants
to bless you with his provision and peace, with his
rest and refreshment for your mind, body, and soul. Breathe
in and out slowly. With each breath, Allow the goodness

(07:22):
of the Lord and everything he has done. Fill your
heart with his praise and glory. Open your heart to
him and he will fill it with his joy. Open
your mind and he will fill it with his truth.
Open your life to him, and he will satisfy your soul.

(07:45):
Take a deep breath, Exhale slowly, and surrender to the Lord.
Take delight in his word. Though his words are sweeter
than honey, his truth is more felling than the finest food.
Allow his provision to strengthen you, to sustain you through

(08:07):
the night. Acknowledge any unconfessed sin before the Lord. Confess
any doubts you have concerning His power and provision. Ask
for his forgiveness. Pray you will put your trust in
Him and follow his ways. Breathe in and out slowly,

(08:31):
allow his mercy and love to wash over you. Take
a deep breath, Exhale slowly and surrender to the Lord.
Let go of your sin and shame. Know the Lord
will bless you with his provision and protection. Praise God

(08:51):
for his faithfulness. Thank him for the times he has
been faithful in your life, even when you have not
always been faithful to him. Praise Him for his mercy.
Thank him for the blessings he has given you. Think
of someone who believes in God but has turned away

(09:12):
from him. Pray God will restore their relationship with him.
Pray God will protect them tonight as they sleep. Bring
your requests to God. Tell him the desires of your heart,
and then patiently wait for Him to bless you. Pray

(09:33):
God will provide his wisdom and discernment to those leading
the church. Pray his church will reflect his love, grace,
truth and glory. Pray God will lead you away from
temptation and guide you down his path for your life.
Pray he will bless you with his hope and joy.

(09:55):
Tonight pray God will restore you. Tonight you sleep, Pray
His word will soothe your soul and renew your mind
and spirit. Take a deep breath, commit your life to
the Lord. Trust him for his provision and protection. As

(10:16):
you lay down to sleep, exhale slowly and release any
stress and tension in your body that is still lingering
from today. Relax your neck and shoulders, close your eyes,
and allow the Lord's still small voice to take you

(10:38):
to a safe, quiet place where you can rest peacefully
throughout the night.
