Speaker 1 (00:03):
I'm Bishop T. D. Jakes, inviting you to unwine your
mind and spirit with tonight's sleep. Psalm. Lord, you have
been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes
of Jacob Psalm eighty five, Verse one. Dear God, Tonight,

(00:29):
as I lay my weary head upon my pillow, I
will close my eyes and be consumed with ways to
bless you. In this moment of peaceful silence, before I
am whisked away to peaceful sleep, I seek to hear

(00:54):
your loving voice. Your words bring comfort and peace, but
they also bring purpose. I know there is no joy
without finding purpose in you. So I pray that you
would reveal your will, release me from restlessness and give

(01:14):
me responsibility. Yes, Lord, set a path before me so
I might walk faithfully. Only then will I be able
to lay my head down and be at peace, knowing
that I ran a good race, thought a good fight,

(01:36):
and endure difficulty for the sake of your kingdom. In Jesus' name,
I trust in Jesus' name. I follow in Jesus' name.
I pray, Amen, thank you for praying with me. I'm

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on in Psalm eighty five as
you prepare for sleep, Draw close to God and open
your mind to receive his truth. Allow his presence and

(03:13):
his word to soothe your soul. Close your eyes and
take a deep breath. Visualize God breathing new life into
your lungs, reviving you, rejuvenating you, restoring you. As you exhale,

(03:34):
allow his life to flow through your veins, opening up
your heart to hear his voice and experience his joy.
Breathe in and out slowly, relax your neck and shoulders.
Take another deep breath as you exhale. Release any stress

(03:58):
and tension in your muscles. With your next breath, focus
on softening the joints from your shoulders to your fingers,
and your toes clear your mind of any distractions by
letting go of the anxious thoughts from today and your
to do list for tomorrow. Focus on God's faithfulness, on

(04:23):
his righteousness inhale and exhale slowly. Know He is faithful
to carry your burdens with your next exhale, Surrender your
worries and anxieties to him. Know he loves you and
cares for you and wants to give you rest. When

(04:47):
you feel drained at the end of each day, bask
in God's unfailing love and in the joy of his
salvation to find rest and restoration for your mind, body,
and soul. Psalm eighty five from the King James's version says, Lord,

(05:09):
thou hast been favorable unto thy Land. Thou hast brought
back the captivity of Jacob. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity
of thy people. Thou hast covered all their sin Sillah.
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath. Thou hast turned
thyself from the fierceness of thine anger. Turn us, o,

(05:31):
God of our salvation, and cause thine anger towards us
to cease. Wilt thou be angry with us forever. Wilt
thou draw out thine anger to all generations. Wilt thou
not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in thee.
Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

(05:55):
I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for
he will speak peace unto his people and to his saints.
But let them not turn again to folly. Surely his
salvation is nigh them that fear him. The glory may
dwell in our land. Mercy and truth are met together.

(06:15):
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring
out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yea,
the Lord shall give that which is good, and our
land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him
and shall set us in the way of his steps.

(06:37):
Meditating on God's love, truth, and righteousness will renew your
mind and refresh your spirit, awakening a spiritual revival in
your soul. He will lighten your heart with his love,
nourish your bones with his truth, and fill your mind
with the hope of His salvation. Take a deep breath,

(07:02):
Listen to your heartbeat, hold your breath for a few seconds.
Exhale slowly. Focus on slowing your heart rate down with deeper,
long breaths. Breathe in his love, allow it to fill
your chest, opening up your heart. Exhale slowly and feel

(07:28):
his love warm your heart, slowing it down, preparing you
for rest. Take a deep breath. Allow the truth of
the Lord to spring up inside you. Exhale slowly and
feel his truth transform you as it reaches every fiber

(07:48):
of your being and rejuvenates you from your head to
your toes. Breathe in and out slowly. Close your eyes
and focus on the salvation of the Lord. Seek his
righteousness and he will guide your steps, drawing you closer

(08:09):
to him. Know his salvation secures your future, filling your
mind with hope and peace, filling your heart with joy
to night, Confess any sin to the Lord. Repent and
ask for his forgiveness. Allow his righteousness to cleanse you

(08:30):
from your sins. Know his love poured out for you
covers all your sin and shame. Exhale slowly and find
rest in the joy of His salvation that keeps you
safe and secure through the night. Rejoice in the righteousness

(08:50):
of the Lord. Praise him for his salvation. Think of
the ways He has been faithful in your life. Thank
him for the time he has healed you and restored you.
Thank him for the times he has blessed you with
a plentiful harvest. Think of someone who needs to experience

(09:11):
the joy of God's salvation. Pray he will reveal his love,
grace and truth to them. Pray he will protect them
as they sleep. Livet your requests to the Lord. Know
he will give you what is good for your mind, body,
and soul. Pray for his healing and restoration in a

(09:36):
specific area in your life. Pray he will give you
peace as you wait for Him to intervene. Pray for
his love to be your guiding light every day and
every night. Pray his light will lead you to a safe,
quiet place where you can rest in him. Pray for

(09:59):
his perfect peace to sustain you throughout the night. Pray
you will experience deep, RESTful sleep that will refresh you
for tomorrow. Take a deep breath, Exhale slowly, and release
any tension that is still lingering from today. As you relax,

(10:22):
allow God to comfort you with his joy, peace, and hope.
As you lay down to sleep,
