Speaker 2 (02:52):
Hello, I'm Grace for tonight's Sleep Song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on some eighty seven. First, get
in a comfortable position. Lie down flat on your back
with your hands resting gently by your side, or sit
up in a chair with your back straight and your

(03:15):
shoulders back, resting your hands in your lap, placing your
feet flat on the floor. Take a deep breath through
your nose. Feel the fresh, clean air flow from your
lungs to your belly. Hold your breath for two seconds.
Purse your lips as if you are drinking from a straw,

(03:38):
and exhale. Slowly feel the air flow throughout your body,
releasing the stress and tension in your muscles and joints.
Relax your neck and shoulders, soften your fingers and toes.
Breathe in and out slowly. Focus your thoughts on God's

(04:02):
grace and love on His power and sovereignty. Find comfort
in knowing God will return one day and bring his
justice to the world. Find hope in knowing God has
a glorious future in store for you. Open your heart
to hear God's voice as he speaks to you through

(04:23):
his word. Allow the comfort and hope of His truth
to lead you to a quiet place where you can
rest peacefully to night. No matter how dark this world gets.
The Bible reminds us we have a bright future with God,
and we can rest knowing our salvation is secure in Him.

(04:48):
Psalm eighty seven from the King James version says his
foundation is in the Holy Mountains. The Lord loveth the
gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Glorious things are spoken of thee O city of God. Selah,
I will make mention of Raab and Babylon to them

(05:11):
that know me. Behold Philistia and tyr with Ethiopia. This
man was born there and of Zion, as shall be said, this,
and that man was born in her, and the Highest
himself shall establish her. The Lord shall count when he
writeth up the people that this man was born there.

(05:33):
Selah as well as the singers, as the players on
instruments shall be there. All my springs are in thee.
The Psalmist paints a beautiful picture of God's return. When
he will rule from his city on a hill Jerusalem,
Believers from every tribe and nation will bow down and

(05:54):
worship him and rejoice in his salvation. The book of
Life will be open, and it will tell a beautiful
story of redemption and restoration. Tonight, allow God to restore
your mind, body, and soul. As you lay down to sleep,
close your eyes and imagine a brilliant city filled with

(06:18):
the glory of God, sitting upon a hill, shining its
light into the darkness, giving life from its springs to
its inhabitants. Marvel in its beauty and in the beauty
of its king. Hear its inhabitants sing with one voice,
the most beautiful song, accompanied by string instruments played by

(06:43):
musicians strumming tune as old as time. Find rest in
the presence of God. Dwell in the safety of his city.
Take a deep breath, be filled with God's presence. Feel
his presence fill your room. As you exhale, Take another

(07:03):
deep breath, feel His springs of life rise up within you.
Exhale slowly and feel his streams flow through your veins,
rejuvenating your body, renewing your mind and refreshing your soul.
Bring your struggles to the Lord. Confess any sin that

(07:26):
is hindering your relationship with him. Ask him to draw
you near to him with his forgiveness and to help
you throw off everything that entangles you to walk his
path of life. Take a deep breath, allow his grace
to flow through you. Exhale slowly and release any tension

(07:48):
in your body. Know his grace has saved you, and
his love will sustain you. Praise the name of the Lord.
Rejoice in his selvy. Thank him for the times he
has shown you his mercy and grace. Thank him for
his faithfulness in your life. Thank him for the times

(08:10):
he has acted on your behalf and brought his justice
to an unfair situation. Think of someone who needs to
accept God's gift of salvation. Pray God will open their
mind and heart and reveal his truth to them. Pray
he will protect them as they sleep. Lay your requests

(08:33):
before the Lord. Ask for his provision and protection. Put
your trust in his salvation. Know he has good plans
for you, plans to give you hope and future. Pray
for God to make his presence known in your community.
Pray he will use you to be a light in

(08:55):
the darkness a city on a hill and lead others
to him. Pray for God to remind you of his
good plans for you during difficult times. Pray you will
rest securely in His salvation. Tonight, Pray for God to
deliver you from any shame you are holding on to.

(09:16):
Pray he will remind you of the joy of His
salvation and of His grace that sustains you through day
and night. Take a deep breath, Exhale slowly, and release
any tension that is still lingering from to day. Let
the joy of His salvation reach the depths of your soul,

(09:38):
restoring your body and mind, warming your heart as you relax,
Allow God's hope and joy to comfort you and bring
you peace as you rest throughout the night.
