Speaker 2 (03:02):
Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Psalm Byprey dot com.
We will be meditating on Psalm ninety three. Breathe in
and out slowly. Retreat to a quiet space where you
can be free of distractions as you prepare to listen
(03:22):
to God's word. Once you are in a safe space
where you can rest in the presence of the Lord,
lie down on your back, keeping it flat and straight
for optimal oxygen flow. Rest your arms gently by your
side with your palms facing down. Use a soft pillow
(03:46):
to support your neck. Take a deep breath, Exhale slowly
and release any tension in your body. Clear your mind
and met a on the sovereignty of the Lord. Know
he is always in control and he uses his power
(04:07):
for your good. Take a deep breath, allow your lungs
to completely fill with air. Exhale slowly, and surrender all
your fears and doubts to the Lord. Feel a heaviness
left from your shoulders and heart. With your next exhale,
(04:30):
relax your neck and shoulders, and open up your chest
and heart as your mind calms. Ask the Lord to
speak to you through tonight's psalm. Allow the power of
His truth to comfort you. Tonight, the Bible reminds us
the Lord is stronger than the storms we face in
(04:53):
our lives. His power and strength can sustain us as
we sleep. Psalm ninety three from the King James's version says,
the Lord reigneth. He is clothed with majesty. The Lord
is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself. The
(05:14):
world also is established that it cannot be moved. Thy
throne is established of old. Thou art from everlasting. The
floods have lifted up, O Lord. The floods have lifted
up their voice. The floods lift up their waves. The
Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters,
(05:37):
yea than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies
are very sure. Holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, forever.
Reflect on the creation of the world. Think about the
power that brought the world into its existence and established
(05:58):
it so that it cannot be moved. Think about the
mighty seas that roar and rage throughout the day and night.
Know the same power that established the world is the
same power that establishes your steps, keeping you safe and
secure through the night. Take a deep breath. Allow the
(06:23):
Lord's strength to fill your lungs. Exhale slowly and feel
his strength flow to every bone, every muscle in your body,
restoring you and rejuvenating you as you rest in him.
Close your eyes and visualize the Lord as your king,
(06:45):
clothed with majesty, reining over all the earth, reiining over
your life. Know in his power and strength he can
strike down the storms that threaten to overtake you. Take
a deep breath. As your chest rises, Picture the waves
(07:08):
of the seas rising against you. Listen to the pounding
of the waves as they crash back and forth. Exhale
slowly and feel the Lord's mighty hands strike down the waters.
Hear his thundering voice over the roar of the mighty seas.
(07:28):
Breathe in and out slowly, and find comfort in the
strength of the Lord. Think of a time when you
buckled under pressure and abandon the ways of the Lord.
Ask for his forgiveness. Ask for him to make your
steps firm and secure, just like He did with the
(07:52):
foundation of the world. Breathe in his holiness. Breathe out
your sin and shame. In his strength, you can stand
firm in the face of temptation. In his power, you
can overcome sin and death. Rejoice in the power and
(08:14):
strength of the Lord. Thank him for the times he
has protected you from the storm. Thank him for the
times he has delivered you with his mighty hands. Thank
him for his salvation that is secure in his righteousness.
Think of a person who needs God's strength to sustain
(08:36):
them during a difficult time. Pray God will satisfy them
with his provision and protection. Pray God will turn their
heart to him so they can experience his comfort and peace.
Cast your anxieties on the Lord, for he cares for you,
(08:56):
and his power is strong enough to relieve your fears
and worries. Pray God will help you follow his commands.
Pray God will help you be holy because He is holy.
Pray God will keep you in his perfect peace in
the middle of life storms. Pray you can experience deep
(09:19):
RESTful sleep. No matter what darkness surrounds you. Pray God
will protect you with his mighty hands as you sleep.
Pray you can rest safely and securely in Him through
the night. Breathe in and out slowly. Put your trust
(09:41):
in the Almighty God who never changes. Allow his power
and strength to restore your mind, body, and soul as
you rest tonight.
