Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Song by pray dot Com.
We will be meditating on Psalm ninety six. Lie down
flat on your back with your arms resting at your side.
Take a deep breath. Feel your muscles titan. Exhale slowly
(03:00):
and relax your body. Relax your neck and shoulders. Take
a few more deep breaths with each inhale and exhale.
Focus on tensing and relaxing a different area of the body.
Soften your body from your head to your toes. Close
(03:23):
your eyes and picture a beautiful landscape painting hanging on
your wall, illustrating the glory and goodness of the Lord.
Hear the trees and the waters cry out to him.
Listen to nature's beautiful song telling the story of her creator.
(03:46):
Take delight in the work of his hands. Marvel at
his beauty. Open your eyes and take a deep breath.
Breathe in the glory and strength of the Lord. Exhale
slowly and release any fears, doubts, or anxiety that is
(04:08):
keeping you from fully experiencing His joy and peace. Know
the same hands that created the heavens and the earth
are the same hands that want to lift your burdens
and give you rest. Inhale and exhale. Ask God to
reveal his glory to you as you listen to his word.
(04:32):
Ask him to fill your heart with praise as you
listen to his song to night. Reflect on the Lord's creation,
and find joy and peace in the beauty of his works.
That rejoice in his name. Psalm ninety six from the
King James's version says, Oh, sing unto the Lord, a
(04:55):
new song, sing unto the Lord. All the earth, saying
unto the Lord, bless his name, shew forth his salvation
from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen,
his wonders among all people. For the Lord is great
and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared
(05:18):
above all gods. For all the gods of the nations
are idols. But the Lord made the heavens, honor and
majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Give unto the Lord, O, ye, kindreds of the people,
Give unto the Lord, glory and strength. Give unto the
(05:42):
Lord the glory, Do unto his name, Bring an offering,
and come into his courts. O worship the Lord in
the beauty of holiness. Fear before him all the earth.
Say among the heathen, that the Lord reigneth the world.
All so shall be established, that it shall not be moved.
(06:03):
He shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice,
and let the earth be glad, Let the sea roar,
and the fullness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and
all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of
the wood rejoice before the Lord, for he cometh. For
(06:26):
he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the
world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. The
Psalmist reminds us that God's beautiful creation is filled with
his glory, revealing he is the one True God. Find
comfort in knowing you serve the Lord over all the nations,
(06:48):
the creators of the heaven and the earth. Take a
deep breath, Bask in the glory of the Lord. Allow
his splendor and majesty to fill your heart with delight.
Exhale slowly, and feel the warmth of His glory spread
throughout your body, rejuvenating you from your head to your toes.
(07:13):
Close your eyes and imagine God's creation, worshiping him praising
his name. Hear the trees in the forest rustle with praise.
See the crops of the field sway back and forth
as if they are dancing to a joyous song. Hear
(07:33):
the seas resound, echoing the strength of the Lord. Let
nature's sounds calm your mind and fill your heart with peace.
Think of a time when you had the opportunity to
tell someone about the glory of God, but fear prevented
you from sharing the good news. Ask for his forgiveness,
(07:58):
Ask for his strength and courage. The next time you
are given another opportunity to declare his marvelous deeds among others.
Take deep breath, be filled with his forgiveness and strength.
Breathe out slowly and release any fears and doubts. Praise
(08:20):
the Lord for his glory and strength. Rejoice in his salvation.
Thank him for revealing his truth to you and for
setting you apart for the glory of his name. Thank
Him for the beautiful blessings he has given you, and
for the wonderful things he has done for you. Think
(08:41):
of a person who needs to accept God's salvation. Pray
God will soften their heart, send the right person to
speak His love into their life and lead them down
his path of righteousness. Lift your requests to the Lord.
Ask him to help you glorify Him in all that
(09:03):
you say and do. Pray the Lord will give you
the opportunity and courage to share the wonderful things He
has done for you with others. Pray he will help
you lead people to Him to brighten our world. Pray
the Lord will help you live a holy life. Pray
(09:23):
he will light your way in the darkness with his
glory and splendor. Pray the Lord will sustain you with
his strength and help you find rest in his sanctuary.
Breathe in the goodness of the Lord. Breathe out any
stress and tension that is still lingering from to day.
(09:45):
Relax your neck and shoulders, close your eyes, and invite
the presence of God as you sleep, feel the warmth
of his glory. Fill your space and refresh your mind
by body and soul. As you lay down to sleep,
