Speaker 1 (00:08):
Hi, everyone, It's Amanda riger Green. Welcome to Soul Sessions.
Thank you for joining me. We are going to dive
into the second half of December and look at the astrology.
There's not a ton happening, yet it's highly impactful, and
I encourage you all to really take the second half
(00:33):
of December as we close out this year, to be intentional,
be mindful, to slow down and slowing down enough to
really listen to your heart's desires and the direction that
you are moving in as we engage with twenty twenty
(00:55):
six and what's really and truly needing to be left behind.
And if you listened to the first half of December
where I covered the astrology and the numerology, there were
a handful of themes that came out and the one
that stands out to me the most, and I've gotten
some really interesting synchronistic feedback around this is dignity that
(01:17):
seemed to really land and resonate with everyone, and it
was what was coming up in my soul and I
have thought about that and contemplated it quite a bit
since I recorded that podcast during this month of December,
and what's shown up is where I'm not dignified, where
I'm not finding this inner sense of self and where
(01:43):
I'm not falling short but selling myself short. And that's
probably the simplest way for me to put it, is,
where are you selling yourself short? Whether that be in
your talents, your day to day life and routines, the
how you take care of yourself, your relationships, how you
(02:04):
show up in the world, whether it be in work
or for yourself, in your spirituality and your consciousness and
your dedication to your inner life and the enrichment of
your inner life. Where are you selling yourself short? So
I encourage you to contemplate that. And this is not
(02:25):
about giving yourself a hard time or berating yourself. It's
more where am I selling myself short? So I can
actually start becoming more valuable to myself and in my actions,
Because that's really a huge theme of twenty twenty six,
taking responsibility for yourself and taking action around your internal life.
(02:51):
So just look at where you might be selling yourself short.
And a quick reminder on the numerology, I would go
back and listen to the very first part of the
Astronumerology report that I did the podcast I did for
the first half of December because I dive into the numerology.
But a quick reminder, in December, we are closing out
(03:12):
a nine year cycle, but we're in a three universal month,
and the three typically is about creativity, communication, self expression.
But this three feels quieter. It feels more like listening,
listening to the internal chatter, the internal dialogue, tuning into
(03:33):
your inner light versus the outer expression of it, which
is the typical energy of the three. It feels more personal, internal,
and that also is because it's coupled with the energy
of the nine that has a more introspective, quiet quality
to it. The three amplifies your inner voice, So again
(03:58):
listening to the voice in your head and listening to
the people around you. What are they saying and what
are they saying behind their words, So really think about
listening as we close out the year. I mentioned this
in the last podcast. On the fifteenth, Mars moved into
Capricorn and the second half of December, and as we
(04:20):
step into January of twenty twenty six, there's a lot
of Capricorni and energy, as there usually is at the
end of the year, but Mars is giving us a
lot of energy and direction to start laying out a
plan of action. Mars in Capricorn, that is, Mars is
about the action. Capricorn is about the plan of action.
(04:43):
So we've already got that kind of gusto, so to speak,
to start laying out a plan. And yet it's the
end of the year. So it's not so much about
setting out big schemes and plans for twenty twenty six.
It is what internal planning do you need to do
(05:05):
to enter twenty twenty six from a place of clarity, dignity,
and your highest truth, your sovereignty. So just remember Mars
is and Capricorn. On the nineteenth, Yes, December nineteenth, and
this is at eight forty three pm Eastern time, we
have the lost new moon of the year. So the
(05:28):
last lunation of the year is a new moon, and
the new moon is in Sagittarius. The Sun and the
moon are coupled in Sagittarius at twenty eight degrees And
there's a couple of cool things going on here. One
interstellar objects three I Atlas is coming into the picture
(05:51):
and it has a pretty big aspect that happens on
the nineteenth. We also have this new moon at twenty
eight degrees of Sagittarius and twenty eight degrees of Sagittarius
is at the actual galactic center of our universe, of
our galaxy. Twenty eight degrees Sage is the galactic center.
(06:13):
So there is something otherworldly about this new moon and
happy birthday to all use Sagittarius out there. I love
that we're closing the year out with a new moon
in sag because oftentimes we either are closing the year
out with a new moon in Capricorn or a full
moon in Cancer. So this feels different. And Sagittarius is
(06:37):
so expansive, faith based, joy filled. It reaches towards new heights.
It wants to expand its horizons and not just its
outlooks its beliefs. It wants to travel and incorporate foreign
ways of being, living and doing in today's day to
(07:00):
day living. And that, of course is the theme of
any Sagittarius new moon. It's about planting seeds around, expanding
your belief system, your perspective, your horizons, maybe even traveling
or incorporating greater freedom into your life. But the fact
(07:20):
that this is coupled with the galactic center, it gives
us this precursor into twenty twenty five. That feels otherworldly,
extra dimensional, multi dimensional is happening in our lives, in
our belief systems, in our way of viewing and ingesting
(07:44):
our world. So something about this new moon feels mystical
probably isn't the right word, but galactic is It feels
very galactic. So during this new moon takes some time,
I'm to set some intentions and I would go on
a walk. I would get outside, go on a walk,
(08:07):
take some time to yourself, without a podcast in your
ear or any other distractions. Just get outside, get in nature.
And maybe because this new moon is happening in the
evening time, especially if you're in the Eastern time zone,
maybe you go outside and you look up to the stars.
And it could be a very cloudy night. You couldn't
(08:30):
you can't even see a darn star. But I would
go outside and I would look to the dark sky.
I would look up. I would stargaze, and even if
you can't see anything, look up to the sky and
feel amazed, and also feel how great you are, but
how small you are in perspective to our galaxy. A
(08:53):
friend of mine last week we were talking about our
problems and how we can magnify our problems in our
own mind and think we are the center of the universe.
And whatever problem we have, whether it's romance or finance, health,
whatever it is, it just it can compound and feel exacerbated.
(09:15):
And this was hysterical and we all started cracking up.
He reached out and he pulled out his iPhone and
one of those stock wallpapers on the iPhone is a
picture of the Earth, and it's just a picture of
the Earth on the stock and he says, you know, whenever,
whenever I start getting in my magic magnifying mind with
(09:35):
myself and whatever problem I am just doing on He's like,
sometimes I just pull out my iPhone and I say,
where is my problem on this earth? Where is my
problem in this grand scheme of things? And of course
we all laughed, but it was so poignant in that
(09:55):
we are part of this massive, massive of cosmos, and
we can maximize our problems and our challenges, and not
to minimize or bypass any of those things that may
be happening in your life that really are detrimental and
hurtful and painful or enslaving or entrapping. But in the
(10:21):
grand scheme of things, you know, what are you here for?
What is your destiny? And that's a lot of what
twenty twenty six is about is stepping into a bigger,
higher destiny and feeling a part of something greater. So
spend a little time on this new moon getting galactic
(10:41):
star gazing, looking at the magnificence of the sunlight in
the sky, this beautiful planet that we live on, or
the dark moon and the stars twinkling at night, and
really get into your vision for twenty twenty six. What
is your personal vision for yourself and your philosophy of life?
(11:06):
What do you really believe in and how are you
going to demonstrate that. Twenty six is also a year
of courage and risk taking, like being bold, being courageous.
(11:29):
So maybe in and around this new moon in Sagittarius,
you do something that demonstrates your courage to yourself. And
when you do something courageous, and maybe it's engaging in
conversation with a stranger, maybe that is courageous for you.
Figure out what courage looks like to and for you
(11:52):
and demonstrate it some sort of way. And as you do,
feel a sense of pride, pride in your abilities and
your capability, and that boldness that you do carry inside
during this new moon and always in any Sagittarius lunation.
Good reminders are to be mindful of overpromising and underperforming.
(12:16):
That can be so sad because more is more, it's
one of the things that we love about sag But
be mindful of saying yes to too many things and
then not following through or really it not being aligned
with your truth, and that echoes the numerology. The energy
of the three can say a lot of yes, yes, yes,
and then be like, oh shoot, I can't do that
(12:36):
or that's too much and then needs to back out.
So really be mindful of your yes and your no
and your commitments and if they're really aligned for you
today not a version of you six months ago. Pay
attention there. And also, while Sagittarius is highly optimistic, something
about this moon fills very still like it may have
(13:01):
some phrenetic energy, some busyness to it, some irritability, it
feels that way, but it's a very still moon. So
if you're feeling heavy during this moon, know that that
is some kind of old grief that is processing for you.
(13:22):
Because Sagittarius is so optimistic. But something about the nature
of this dark moon. This new moon feels heavier. And
so if you don't feel like turning your frown upside
down or putting a smile on your face and making
do don't do that, be honest about where you're coming from.
(13:43):
And it's not about being Debbie Downer. It's more like saying,
you know, I'm not in a super jovial mood. I
just need a little quiet time and then go outside
and take your walk. So if you're feeling any kind
of heaviness or grief, journal about that. Take some time
to shed. And even though it's a new moon and
new moons are not typically about shedding, there's something about
(14:06):
the darkness of this moon and I think conjunct with
the galactic center that kind of powers it up, and
it powers us up into a newer, higher destiny that
there may be some grief and shedding that comes along
with it. So treat it like closure coupled with a
new beginning and make a declaration or two. So, rather
(14:26):
than setting intentions on this new moon, this last new
moon of twenty twenty five, set a declaration or two.
I choose a story that fills my life with fill
in the blank. I choose a path forward that expands
(14:48):
my integrity and expands my fill in the blank. I
let go of identities, beliefs, behaviors, and attitudes that limit
my joy and my inner light from radiating externally. I
say yes to things that scare me just a little bit,
(15:12):
but that call my soul. So make declarations. I declare
that this is the year four, the year ahead is
think about it that way. On December twenty first, the
sun will move into Capricorn, and it is the winter
(15:34):
solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the summer solstice in
the Southern Hemisphere. Solstices are these three month initiation points
because they're about seasons change of season. So the solstice
and the sun moving into Capricorn is a time of introspection,
(15:59):
usually time to connect with nature, absolutely, but it is
also a time of really setting some intentions or seeds
for what you would like to materialize in the next
three months ahead. And as I'm saying this, I'm smiling,
because the next three months ahead are massive astrologically. January
(16:22):
is kind of a little like just shifting into some
energy astrologically numerologically, but February March and beyond, it's like
game on level up. So something about this solstice feels
very pertinent in the way of seeding some intentions and
(16:46):
not intentions you share with anybody else, intentions that you
seed in your heart and your soul, and if you
want to write those out and stick them in a
journal or a book, or bury them in the ground,
put them somewhere that you forget about them. It's kind
of like an energy where And I say this sometimes
about setting intentions. When you set intentions, yes there is
(17:10):
action on my part or your part that may need
to follow those intentions, But a lot of times it's
like blowing out candles on a birthday cake or throwing
a coin in a fountain, Meaning when you make the wish,
when you set the intention for your birthday cake or
throwing the coin in the fountain, you don't sit there
(17:32):
and say, Okay, I just made this wish, how do
I follow through with it? How do I get it done?
And Capricorn loves to follow through and get things done,
So what I'm saying is a little counterintuitive for this solstice,
but it's about really writing out some ideals, some big,
big wishes you have in your soul, and not just
(17:56):
about and for you, for our earth, for our planet,
for humanity. It is my wish that humanity recognizes each
other and comes together inclusively and lovingly with peaceful solutions
to live in harmony. And yes, that may sound Pollyanna,
and that's not very Capricorn, but I'm encouraging you on
(18:18):
this solstice. As the moon shifts in the sun excuse me,
shifts into Capricorn, seed some wishes and seed some wishes
maybe in your own heart and soul, but for this planet,
for humanity, for our future ahead, for twenty twenty six,
(18:39):
and wishes that are long range wishes. As the sun
moves into Capricorn, we invite in that energy of commitments
and priorities, long range goals, responsibility, money, sustainability, reputation, leadership, authority.
(19:05):
All you Capricorns out there are like yep, yep, yep,
But I also invite you to invite, invite you to
invite in play. And one of the things that I
love about Capricorn energy is most Capricorns, people with heavy
Capricorn in their charts, they're born responsible, they're born mature,
(19:27):
they're born adult like. And one of the things that
they are learning as they age with their wisdom is
to become more childlike, more playful, more delightful, more lighthearted,
and to still maintain their integrity, their dignity, their leadership,
but to add in an element of cela v play.
(19:50):
So as you move into the last portion of twenty
twenty five, like literally the last couple of weeks of
the year, and is the sun is in Capricorn, Mars
is in Capricorn, and Venus will move into Capricorn on
the twenty fourth, on Christmas Eve if you celebrate Christmas,
(20:13):
that's when Venus moves in. So we will have Mars
the sun and Venus in Capricorn. We start to want
to truly build something like the beliefs have been shifting.
That's what Sagittarius gets us ready for, kind of choose
what you believe in. And then Capricorn says, and what's
(20:36):
the game plan? You know, Sagittarius delivered the message in
your soul, in your heart, and Capricorn basically demands the
game plan, what is the trajectory forward? So don't be
surprised as we close out the end of the year,
the last ten fourteen days or so, if you feel
(20:58):
more serious, more respective, even not heavy, but internally fearful
or distracted, or like you're not doing enough, you haven't
done enough, you're running out of time. Just notice those
heavy feelings and allow them to rise to the surface,
because what it's doing is it's clearing space for you
(21:20):
to build something to last, for you to set out
on a path as you shift into twenty twenty six
that feels sustainable, that feels devotional over disciplined. Capricorn loves discipline,
but I think a higher octave of Capricorn is more
devotion based. And for those more evolved Capricorns that I
(21:42):
see and watch and know, they become more devotional than disciplined.
And I think that's a theme of twenty twenty six
and also leading with dignity, stepping into what this version
of dignity looks like for you. And as Venus shifts
into Capricorn, for all of those of you out there
(22:02):
who have your natal Venus in Capricorn, I just don't
need to say a word because it means if it's
practical and it makes sense and it's going to be sustainable,
then I can fall in love with it. Venus in
Capricorn is not about passion first and practicality later. It
is all about what's the game plan. Let's interview this person.
You know, if I'm gonna fall in love then first,
(22:25):
but it first needs to be practical. It's kind of
like an arranged marriage in a way that maybe you know,
two lovers or two young people are put together in
an arranged marriage and they grow and they grow together,
and then they grow to respect and love each other.
It's Venus in Capricorn. And one of the things that
I truly admire about that energy is there's a devotion,
(22:48):
a dedication to the energy of Venus in Capricorn. And
just as a little preview on January first, Mercury, we'll
move into Capricorn. So as weft into the new year, Mars,
the Sun, Venus, and Mercury will all be in Capricorn.
So if you are afraid that you don't have your
(23:10):
act together right now, or you don't know what you
believe in, or you don't know what your destiny is
in your soul's journey or for twenty twenty six, this
big one year, so what Capricorn will get you? Get
you clear, get you into some action, start orchestrating the people,
places and experiences around you that you get to respond
to and show up maturely with and around the astrology
(23:35):
and the energy is setting us up for something big.
So take this last half of December, this last part
of this nine year cycle, start to really trust in
your light, your divinity, your dignity, and allow the universe
(23:57):
in all its majesty to show up for you and
to remind you of your greatness. And that really feels
like the closing theme of twenty twenty five is leaving
behind anything that is diminishing your greatness, your divinity, your
(24:22):
sense of belonging here in this timeline, in the space
and in humanity and in your circumstances, and knowing that
you have some kind of higher destiny and it's all
starting to come together. Listen to you all a lot
of love, Happy last New Moon of twenty twenty five,
(24:44):
Happy Solstice, and here's to closing out this immense cycle
and becoming ready to step into something greater and higher
as we enter twenty twenty six. As always, thank you
