Welcome to May, a month where inner shifts begin to manifest into tangible action. Following a period of internal processing, May marks a point where "the rubber meets the road," offering opportunities to translate recent insights into clear, sustainable productivity while remaining true to yourself. This is a time to engage with life experientially, learning by doing and testing your internal shifts in the real world.

Focus on three cornerstones this month: being appreciative & grateful, feeling safe & nurtured, and experiencing serenity & peace. Recognize and document when you embody these states and consciously seek them out in your daily life.

Numerologically, the 5 month in a 9 year creates a contrasting yet potent energy. The 9 year amplifies growth and shedding, potentially bringing underlying anxieties to the surface as you feel "squeezed" through a transformative process. Simultaneously, the 5 month is freedom-seeking and dynamic, urging you to embrace change, adventure, and uncertainty. This combination can feel dramatic, with the potential for both breakthroughs and challenges. Trust that even amidst feelings of being stretched, a positive integration is unfolding.

Key Dates in May:

Early May: Venus conjunct Neptune (around May 2nd) – A time for divine love, setting heartfelt intentions, and expressing creativity.

May 4th: Pluto stations retrograde at 3 degrees of Aquarius – Initiating a period of inward review regarding future plans, friendships, and community connections until October 2025.

May 10th: Mercury enters Taurus – Encouraging a grounding and stabilization of the mind.

May 12th: Full Moon in Scorpio – A powerful time for emotional honesty, alchemy, and addressing attachments.

May 20th: Sun enters Gemini – Increasing mental activity, emphasizing communication, and the importance of gathering information.

May 24th: Saturn enters Aries – Marking a significant shift towards bold, practical action and taking responsibility.

May 26th: New Moon in Gemini – A time for fresh mental ideas, new conversations, and setting intentions around communication and open-mindedness.

Questions to ask yourself this month:

-When do I feel appreciative and grateful?

-When do I feel secure and nurtured?

-When do I feel serene and peaceful?

-Am I responding with love or fear?

-Am I being honest with myself? Is there anywhere in my life where I'm acting dishonestly?

-Do the people I surround myself with support my hopes, wishes, and dreams?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Hi everyone, it's Amida Rica Green. Welcome to Soul's Sessions.
Today we're going to jump into the energy of May.
There's a big shift, a big transition in happening. We've
been going through a massive rite of passage paradigm shift
in the last handful of months, and really before we

(00:30):
entered twenty twenty five, there was a build up and
it's been immense. It's been like a compression chamber of sorts.
There's been a seriousness and a focus and a heaviness
that sometimes can feel disorienting, elusive, uncertain, but it's been

(00:52):
cleaning and clearing us out from the inside, deep heavy things,
and for many of us, it shows up in our
material world through our day to day personal experiences. As
we transition into May, that energy changes a bit, and

(01:12):
it really does change for the first time this year.
And while I'm here for it, I'm looking forward to
the change. It's also where the rubber meets the road,
the integration of the internal behind the scenes shifts that
have been occurring or evolution. How do we put that

(01:36):
into clear, sustainable action, productive activity in our interactions, our
day to day, our relationships, and also being true to
ourselves and that's going to be a process the next
few months. Feel like we are. It's like we're in

(01:57):
a process of sorts. So what does that mean? You
get to feel your way through it and learn experientially.
Think about learning experientially, And that's one that's something I
identify with. When I look at myself, I do self
examination and reflection. I really learn by doing. You know,

(02:20):
I may have deep feelings and confusion or desires and passions,
but the only way for me to understand it is
to test it out irl in real life. And something
about may feels like in real life to me, and
there's anxiety that is coming with it. I mean, I

(02:43):
am feeling a strange anxiety right now. And it's not
like I've got the physical symptoms of anxiety, heart palpitations,
not being able to catch my breath. It's more like
something deeper is saying, Okay, one foot in front of
the other, and this is a really good month to

(03:04):
make sure you stop and smell the roses. And as
I say that, anything that puts you into a state
of gratitude and deeper than that, appreciation, gratitude and appreciation
a sense of comfort, nurture, and safety, I am okay,

(03:25):
I am safe just as I am, I am right
where I am supposed to be. Or a sense of serenity.
When do you feel serene? So ask yourself to start
as we transition into May, when do I feel gratitude
and appreciation? When do I feel that sense of gratitude

(03:47):
and appreciation? And sometimes for me, it's just like write
the gratitude out, get really literal about the little things
the big things. What are you grateful for and what
do you truly feel appreciative of right now? And the
next thing is safety and security, comfort and nurture. When

(04:07):
do you feel at home in your own skin? When
do you feel safe? And for some of us safety
is like locked doors, like really vigilant kind.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Of safety stuff.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
For others of us it's psychological. It's when do I
really feel at home in my own skin and comfortable
in who I am and where I am? And then
also really thinking about peace, when do you feel a

(04:40):
sense of peace and a piece that is like the
peace that passes all understanding, like the peace from the
inside out. And sometimes for me, I have to find
external peace or identify external piece in order to recognize
the internal piece. So like a lovely sunset. It's spring

(05:01):
here in Texas and we've had we have these wildflower
seasons in Texas. Like Texas, the Hill Country is known
for its numerous blankets of wildflowers that come up over
the course of two or three months. And what's funny,
we were on a walk yesterday and the Indian paint
brush is out. Now we start with blue bonnets, then

(05:23):
the Indian paint brush comes out. So it's like these
waves of flowers. But it has not been an incredible
or awesome wildflower season here. It depends on the rain
and the weather and the temperature. There are some seasons
where everything is just blanketed in wildflowers, and this season

(05:47):
it's been more like small patches where the wildflowers are
there and they're beautiful, but they seem it's smaller and
you have to look for them versus it just being
these vibrant and I was I was thinking about that yesterday.
But one thing that is really interesting about this wildflower

(06:09):
season is cactus are blooming. And I have never seen
the amount of cactus blooms in Texas like I'm seeing now.
There's a cactus that is literally sitting outside of my
office window, and it was so huge. The cactus had
grown so much. The blooms were massive, and they're this

(06:34):
vibrant orange color. That the cactus was so heavy that
it broke. And moving a cactus and replanting it and
rehoming it, I mean, like, even with gloves, this thing
is brutal. It's beautiful and brutal. And I was laughing
because I'm like, I freaking feel like a cactus right now,

(06:55):
Like I feel prickly and I'm having all of these
extra feels that are uncomfortable and confusing and irritable, and
yet there's tons of blooms coming out that are vibrant
and new. But it's like, I feel like a cactus.
And we were at some friends' home yesterday and their

(07:16):
backyard they have tons of cactus, and the blooms were insane.
And on the blooms on all of their cactus that
are the same, I don't know the name of the cactus,
forgive me, but theirs were all yellow. They had no
orange blooms and ours are all orange. So it just,
you know, and we were talking about it, and all
of us were saying, we've never it was a bunch

(07:38):
of Texans. Right, We've never seen this many cactus blooms,
and I think that feels very apropos for what we're experiencing.
You know, nature, Nature's so brilliant. It mimics what's going
on internally. And as I'm sitting here thinking about it,
I'm like, I feel like a prick cactus that has

(08:02):
all these new, vibrant blooms, but it's still I still
feel prickly. And then I feel the newness and vibrancy,
but it's almost like it's it's different, something is different
about it. So I hope that resonates. But coming back
to the serenity piece, that third prong that that I
was alluding to, when do you feel tranquil serene? Really

(08:29):
like in an equilibrium? And for me, I have to
look for it, I have to, I don't have to.
I choose to seek out circumstances that I know are
going to give me that sense of comfort, stability, safety, peace,
and also appreciation and gratitude. I think those are three

(08:52):
cornerstones of this month that I encourage all of us
to seek out and recognize. Document make a mental note,
a literal note on your piece of paper. When do
you feel appreciative and grateful, safe, secure and nurtured, and serene, peaceful,

(09:18):
any of those things. Look for those, practice those. Insert
yourself in an experience that will create that, whether it
is for three minutes or two hours, so it's sitting
out on your back porch, or sitting with a good
group of friends, reading a good book, learning something, listening

(09:41):
to music, going to your exercise, your pilates, your yoga,
your gem, going on a walk in nature, whatever works
for you.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Cooking.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
A lot of us love to cook and feel just
at home, at ease when we can prepare a delicious
meal for ourselves or for our family or for friends.
What do these sentiments and experiences practically look like for
you and can you seek them out over and over
this month? I'm going to start by talking about the

(10:16):
numerology first. As you all know, we're in a nine
year and the nine brings it turns up the volume
in an urgency or an intensity, because it's asking us
to grow and shed simultaneously, so the two things can
be true at once. Deal is definitely the energy of

(10:39):
the nine. Remember that sometimes that lurking feeling beneath the
surface of anxiety and certainty irritability, fear, whatever may be
coming up down in the pit of your stomach or
showing up in the mental chatter in your mind. Recognize
that that nine energy. It's almost like the nine is

(11:03):
squeezing a big bubble through a tiny tube. And it's
really funny. The analogy I got when I said that is,
I think this about a snake, and I think about
a snake like eating a rat or eating its prey,
and we've all seen that. And then you think about
those really big snakes that eat like alligators and people

(11:26):
and like that you've seen pictures of in the Amazon
where these huge, huge serpents their jaw is able to open.
I don't even know the biology of it. And I mean,
even as I say this, I'm getting like freaked out
a little bit. But the energy feels like we are

(11:47):
being squeezed through a tiny tube. Maybe we're being consumed.
I don't know. And I'm not saying this to implant fear,
but I mean these analogies are coming up, like it's
like the road is becoming more narrow and we're being squeezed,
wrung out. Deed talks and sometimes feeling that compression of

(12:11):
oh my gosh, where am I going? Is this going
to end? So recognize if you're feeling all of these conflicting,
confusing energies, that you're not alone. I certainly am experiencing them.
Yet beneath the fears and anxiety, there's a peace, there's

(12:33):
a hope, there's a trust, there's a faith. All of
that beautiful white light is there. But the human visceral
experience feels very raw and in real life, irl. So
look for the peace, look for the safety and security,

(12:56):
and look for your gratitude and appreciation to create calming
that sense of your center and your stability so you
can move forward in a very quality oriented manner and
bringing your truth along your truth today as it is
e've evolved today, and let your experiences not dictate but

(13:19):
gently guide you in how you get to respond in life.
And I tell you what, even as I am saying
this and sharing this with all of you, I am
listening to myself, Like this is not just me talking
out of the side of my mouth and saying, hey, y'all,
you do this, think about it this way. I am

(13:41):
literally listening to myself and saying, okay, Amanda, one day
at a time, one step at a time, allow your
experiences to reflect back to you what you're learning, what
you need, and remember that you are equipped. The numerology
for May we are in a five month. The numerology

(14:10):
for May, we are in a five month. So we've
got the energy of the five. That is the focus
and the overarching theme of the nine. The five is dynamic.
It's freedom seeking and dynamic. Those are the two most expressive,
highest vibrational frequencies of the energy of the nine. So

(14:36):
what the I mean of the five? Excuse me? And
the nine is not dynamic and freedom seeking in nature.
The nine is more I am walking the path. I
am dedicated to the path, no matter what I mean.
The nine is intense, and the five is like, lighten up,
just do something fun, just do something. The five says

(14:58):
take action, but the five, more than anything, says embrace change,
embrace adventure, Embrace uncertainty, step into uncertainty. And the five
can be dramatic, meaning it's like crescendo energy where you

(15:20):
know what can hit the fan or you know what
burst open and miraculous things happen. So it can be
destructive because whatever the five is bringing to a head,
bringing to a climax or crescendo, to be confronted, to
be addressed. It can be explosive, and it can feel

(15:45):
not so great in the moment. It can feel extremely emotional, moody, dramatic,
over reactive. The five, in its shadow, overreacts in the
fives highest attribute. It embraces change emphatically and with a

(16:08):
sense of freedom, expansion, and adventure. So the beautiful energy
of the five combined with the nine is breakthrough energy,
a moment of right place, right time. Whoa, I didn't
see that coming. Oh this is the answer to all

(16:29):
my prayers. You know. It's like, oh my gosh, all
my prayers have been answered in a way that is
so infinite, so miraculous. I could never have humanly imagined
this would be the reward, the pot of gold at
the end of the rainbow. That is the highest frequency
of the confluence of the five and the nine. The

(16:52):
low vibration is we are brought down to our knees.
There is drama, There is some kind of sudden shift
that like knocks the wind out of our sales. And
we think, in that moment of challenge, pain, disaster, dramatic events,

(17:18):
that everything is falling apart, that we are helpless and
powerless and not going to have what we need and
everything is destroyed, and I don't know what I'm gonna do.
So as you hear me talking, it's a very contrasting
numerological code. So it will test you and it will

(17:43):
burst you open in ways. And a good friend of mine,
this is a super trite saying, but I've found it
to be true, especially in retrospect, and that's kind of
the this is the month of May. Will have opportunities
to reflect and have retrospection come June, like June and July,

(18:07):
and you'll be like, oh gosh, I get it. I
get what was going on from January through May. Whoa
like you may have some of those revelations in May,
you really you. They may be more delayed and you
may not have revelations until June July. But this is
the trite saying. Sometimes we're not falling apart. We may

(18:29):
be coming together. Things may not be falling apart, they
may be falling together. And sometimes like storms, think about
a storm. Sometimes storms are our natural disasters. They are wickedly, terrifying,
destructive and powerful, but in the light of day, even

(18:54):
through the destruction, the loss, there's an opportunity to re build.
And that's a lot of what is going on this year,
as we've moved through this narrow tunnel that we're being squeezed,
squeezed in some sort of way. We're going to be
coming out the other side in the months ahead. And

(19:17):
sometimes it may feel like a trickle, and other times
it may be upfront, you know, up close and personal.
But things may not be falling apart, they may be
falling together. And I choose to trust that, to cling
to that deep down underneath behind the human fears, anxieties,

(19:41):
mental and emotional shifts that may be happening in my
daily experience, and I hope you can too. With the
five embrace change. The five is about change. And if
you drew a five on your piece of paper, the
numbers very literally look like the frequencies that they depict.

(20:05):
So if you draw five on your piece of the paper,
it's it's pivotal because the bottom is feminine, it's got
that big curve, and the top is angular and top heavy.
So the five teeters it's not stable. It's not a four,
it's not a two. Think about the two, the two
has that base and then it's curvature at the top.

(20:27):
The five teeters. It's about pivoting, making a change, shifting
your perspective, so it's not stable. This month may feel
a little bit like a teeter totter. So just think
about that imagery. And if you went through the numbers,

(20:49):
the base frequency energies of the numbers one through nine,
five is like this midway point. You've got one through
four and then you have six through nine. But and
I know that, like that math, if I add it up,
you're like four and then you have six. Like anyway,
five is the midpoint, okay, and five is this this

(21:10):
we're coming to, not a fork in the road, but
we're repositioning ourselves a bit, so you're gonna feel it
on the inside. And then you get to practice what's
been shifting in inside within you, in your experiences literally
and in your perspective. You get to start practicing it

(21:32):
differently or in a more evolved way in the in
the months ahead, and May is May's the time for
that embrace change. Also with the energy of the five,
I always I recognize I don't always I recognize that
the five is a thrill seeker, it's like a roller

(21:54):
coaster rider. It's listen, I'm I don't love roller coasters.
I never have. I've ridden my fair share of roller coasters.
And if I never get on a roller coaster again,
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
I do not like that feeling of lose catching my breath,
that feeling of dropping, you know, and you know that
at the theme park, those big rides where they raise
you all the way to the top and they drop
you like an elevator going down. That is not my
idea of fun, adventure, excitement. And for some of you
out there, you're like, but I love roller coasters. I

(22:27):
love that thrill. Amazing, Like to me it is. I
do not like my heart jumping up into my throat.
I don't like that feeling. The five can feel that way,
like it's like you're going down and you're suspended in
mid air simultaneously where your heart is up in your throat.

(22:49):
I mean, it's that's the energy of the five. And
if you've got a five in your main numerologic numerological code,
like your attitude number, your life path number, you were
born on the fifth or you were born on a
five day, it's your sole urge number. If you're in
a five year in the nine, I mean five is

(23:11):
a number that you are experiencing now because it's potentially
your personal year or it is in your numerology. Pay
attention this month and look at the world and your
frequency through a lens of adventure, and think about the
hero's journey. If you are the hero of your own story,

(23:36):
do you trust that you are going to have the
tools that you are equipped with, the tools, the resources,
the support, and the divine guidance to move you through
to slay the dragon and to come out on the
other side. And so many of the hero's journey's themes

(23:57):
are between the polarity of fear love. Is it love
that you're moving towards and love in all its forms
or are you staying in a state of fear? And
this goes back to three dimensional energy and higher frequencies, fourth, fifth,

(24:18):
sixth dimensional energy. It's like, right now we are getting
to choose do get Do I respond with fear or love?
Is my motivation coming from a place of fear or
is it coming from love? Ask yourself that and the
reason I suggested that getting into gratitude, finding your sense

(24:42):
of safety nurture and comfort and serenity are good checkpoints
that'll move you into that fifth dimensional frequency that you
can remember that is that orientation from the heart and
from love. So think about that and with the energy
of the five. The five has a tendency to be

(25:03):
dramatic and jump to conclusions, contempt prior to investigation, to
immediately label something and then have a knee jerk reaction.
So be mindful of your reactions and your knee jerk
energy this month. Let yourself feel that and experience it.
But take a beat, get into reality, get grounded, find

(25:26):
your center, and then respond. So steady yourself and for
goodness sakes, until the twentieth, the sun is in Taurus.
Tarus is giving us this opportunity to stabilize, to create sustainability.

(25:50):
Easy does it, Slow and steady wins the race. And
when we've been speed walking, which this year felt like
speed walking even though sometimes I feel suspended in mid air,
it's really hard to change your gait, your cadence, your rhythm.

(26:10):
We're changing rhythms this month. We're changing our gait, our cadence,
the frequency, the notes, the keys in the music, the
harmony is changing and I'm giving you really elusive, energetic
ways to look at this. Find your beat, find your note,

(26:34):
and do that through your gratitude and appreciation, your stillness,
safety and security, and your serenity within. And make sure
you pause before you jump to conclusions, over react, overly
dramatize things. And if something is coming to a close

(26:57):
in your life, whether you been going through a divorce,
a separation, you've had challenges with friends, colleagues, something with work,
health's crisis is coming up, You've got a loved one
who is ill or terminally ill that you're taking care of,

(27:19):
whatever it may be, whatever chapters could be coming to
a close, can you close those chapters with the divine,
with a sense of sacred reverence, honoring your past and
recognizing where you've grown to invite in more love. There's

(27:44):
a book written by a guy named Matt con and
I've probably recommended this book a thousand times. I have
two copies of the book and I have it on Audible.
I Do, I Do. It's called Whatever Arises Love. It's
written by Matt Cohn, and it literally the title says

(28:05):
it all whatever arises love, that meaning, if it's anger,
if it's sadness if it's trauma, I mean, and that's
a big ask, right, and he articulates it. It's an
easy read. I recommend it to any of you out there.
But the title says it all whatever arises love that

(28:30):
and that is I read this book probably for the
first time eight years ago, and it's one of those
books that sits on my shelf and all I have
to do is look at the title, and the title
itself is Ooh, Amanda, whatever's coming up in you? And
you know the fears? Yes, can you process them? Can
you acknowledge them? Can you honor them? What are you

(28:51):
beaming more love into a situation or are you choosing
to project or beam fear into it? And that is
exactly how I feel right now as I am speaking
to you all and recording this. It's like this morning,
I was projecting fear into my morning. I was projecting

(29:14):
fear into my morning, and I couldn't get out of
the fear in my head even though I am okay,
I have.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
What I need.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
I you know, by all intents and purposes, I am okay,
I have what I need. But I could feel myself
projecting and reprojecting fear in one form or another, and
I couldn't find the love, like I couldn't find the
love vibe. And I just kept saying, I'm out of kilter,
I'm off tune, I'm off beat, but deep down I

(29:45):
know there's love. And as I'm talking to you now,
I'm like, Oh, I feel better just saying this, I
feel better, And that actually sets us up for some
of the astrology. We're only as sick as our secrets.
That's an interesting thing when it comes to the numerology

(30:07):
this month and the astrology this month. I'm going to
repeat that we are only as sick as our secrets.
Honesty and vulnerability are massive themes not only of May,
but as we shift into the months ahead. I am

(30:27):
only as sick as my secrets. And you know where
I get secretive today? I'm pretty cash register honest right,
like I'm a nine, you know, like cash honesty is
like the low hanging fruit. Oh, I need to put
my cart up at the grocery store, because why wouldn't I? Oh,
I don't need to throw this trash out the window.

(30:49):
That's ridiculous. I can put it in the car and
I can recycle it or throw it in the trash
can when I get home. Like the cash register honesty
is a good temperature to take. Are you being dishonest
in any of your day to day dealings? Just ask
yourself that because and nobody is breathing down your neck

(31:10):
checking in on you to see if you're being honest
or dishonest?

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Did you do you.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Fudge your taxes? You know, all the little things. We're
human and we by nature are sneaky, sometimes selfish and
self centered, dishonest.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
That's part of.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
The ego in the human condition that we are fine
tuning in connection with our higher consciousness. So cash register
honesty is a great place to start. But what's more
challenging and deeper than that is being honest with yourself
and what you do when you get honest with yourself.

(31:47):
For me, I know today to tell on myself like
I was honest with all of you. I'm like, I'm
feeling uncomfortable in my own skin today and I don't
like it. I don't know why. I just my hair
looks crazy, you know, Like I just feel like a
nut job. But just saying to you, saying that to

(32:10):
all of you, apart from getting honest with myself, that
I feel off kilter saying it out loud, It's like, Oh,
it takes the pressure off of me having to humanly
figure all that out. And that's the energy of surrender
in the nine is Oh, I get to be honest

(32:34):
and vulnerable in a healthy way, because once I get
it out of me and I know what it is
and I name it, then I can figure out what
I'm gonna do with it, how do I respond to it?
What do I need in order to heal this? And
you know what I need in order to heal this.

(32:55):
I need relationships, healthy relationships with myself, with God, my
higher power, and my soul, my guides, with my friends,
with my husband, with my family. And I don't need
all of those right now today, But which one is

(33:17):
the closest one for me to reach out to to
ask for space to be held, or for me to
share what's going on with me and to listen. And
sometimes that's through prayer and meditation and listening to divine guidance.
Sometimes it is telling on myself and telling a friend that,

(33:38):
oh my gosh, I feel unhinged today and just I
need space to get my crazy out. This is a
good month to tell on yourself to really get honest.
You're only as sick as our secrets. So as we
start the month out, it's a bit challenging because of

(34:00):
a couple of things we're just We had a new
moon in Taurus at the end of April. We also
had the third and final Mars Pluto opposition that was
sandwiched up against the Tarus new moon, and we're still
going to be feeling that opposition.

Speaker 2 (34:22):
Mars is the.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
Fight, the boldness, the courage, the immediacy of something, and.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
Pluto is the slow burn.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
You know, the frog and the boiling water, the frog
in the cold water that boils. That's Pluto and Mars
is like, let's have this fight right now. So when
they oppose one another.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
It is.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Extremely intense psychologically and literally, So we're still feeling that
energy start to burn off and burn down and smolder
a bit. So be kind and gentle with and to
yourself and to others in the days the first week

(35:08):
ish of May. The other thing that is happening in
the first week of May, on the fourth May fourth
is Pluto is stationing retrograde. All of the planets for
the last couple of weeks have been direct and it's

(35:31):
the only time in twenty twenty five that we've had
all the planets moving direct. It was a very short
window of direct move forward extroverted momentum type energy. Now
we've got Pluto. The retrograde is like phases are about
to start happening away like waves. Pluto is taking the lead.

(35:54):
And when pluto stations retrograde, it basically stands still in
the sky for a couple of weeks because it's not
fast moving. It takes a bit for its orientation in
its orbit to change. So anytime a planet station's retrograde
or direct, the energy is personified. So I'll tell you

(36:19):
what I find Pluto very spiritual. I mean, Neptune is
usually laid labeled as like spiritual, so is Jupiter, but
Pluto is very spiritual to me. It's also because when
I was born, Pluto was conjunct to my Sun and Moon,
so by nature, I'm very plutonium death reverth transformation intensity.

(36:41):
You all know that I can be quite intense. I
know that, But guess what my ticket through intensity is
joy and delight, lightheartedness, silliness, playfulness. So make sure in
the first week of this month of May you add
you recognize your intensity, your seriousness however that may be

(37:05):
showing up for you, and you add in a little
bit of lightness, a little bit of silliness, a little
bit of fun and ease. Make sure to do that.
Pluto will station retrograde May fourth at three degrees of Aquarius,
and this retrograde phase Pluto will be retrograde through October

(37:28):
of twenty twenty five. So the months ahead, Pluto's energies
are turning inward and we get an opportunity to psycho
spiritually do some behind the scenes analysis. Gosh, it feels
like this whole year is that way. So it's just
again another subtle layer. But it'll feel more amplified in

(37:49):
the first week ish of May, and then it'll burn
off a little bit because it'll be after a couple
of weeks Pluto will be gaining speed in its retrogrades.
It won't feel so immense. So lighten up on yourself
as Pluto retrogrades in Aquarius. Remember, Aquarius is about the future, innovation, technology,

(38:13):
artificial intelligence.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
It is the futurist.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
But Aquarius is all about friendship and community, friendships, resources, affiliations,
and associations. So as Pluto retrogrades in Aquarius. One theme
is revising, reviewing our future plans, our vision, our future vision.

(38:41):
And again this goes on through October, so it's a
slow burn. Ideas will come to you out of the blue. Wow,
I thought I was going to do this. It's like
we make plans in God laughs. That's what this retrograde is.
We make plans in God laughs. And again, it's not
going to be all the time left and right, but

(39:02):
you're over the course of the next handful of months
through October, plans that you may have set in motion
are going to ask you to for revision. Ooh, okay,
my vision is still there, but it's changing a little
bit and I'm gonna need to let go of this
or I'm gonna need to ask for help here. I'm

(39:24):
gonna need more money and resources for this, or I'm
gonna need more time. I thought I was gonna be ready,
but I'm not quite ready. There's still work for me
to do. So it may waylay some future plans and
fine tune them. Just remember this is a fine tuning
phase and it's nuanced. But things may come up about

(39:46):
your friendships and your networks where you're revising, changing your friendships, networks,
affiliations and associations. So recognize that and all of your networking,
your friendships, your resources, your human resources. It's like Pluto

(40:06):
will ask us to fine tune those. Do the people
that I surround myself with support my future vision, my hopes,
wishes and dreams. That's the big question, that's always the
question in the eleventh house. The eleventh house in astrology,
in your natal chart is the Aquarius house, and it's

(40:30):
about our hopes, wishes and dreams. But the big question
I always ask anytime I have a transit, someone else
has important planets transiting or lots of planets in their
natal chart. In the eleventh house, it's the house of goals, hopes.
It's the house of the materialization of hope's wishes and
dreams or the lack thereof, and the I think this

(40:53):
is such a wonderful question for anybody and everyone out
there to reflect on the people I surround myself with,
my networks, my friendships, affiliations, and community. Do they support
my hopes, wishes and dreams or do they limit hold

(41:14):
me back from the materialization of my hopeses, wishes and
dreams and then flip that on its head, flip that
script and ask this, do the my friendships and affiliations
do I support their hopes, wishes and dreams? Or do
I limit their hopes, wishes and dreams? So ask yourself

(41:36):
that question two ways. Do the people who I surround
myself with are they lifting me up, supporting me, encouraging
me in my highest self and my highest path forward
and my literal hopes, wishes and dreams? Or are they
keeping me playing small? And then flip it around and
say do I support people the people I surround myself with.

(41:57):
Am I the cheerleader and so port staff for their hopes,
wishes and dreams? Or am I judging them? Limiting them,
you know, secretly holding them back or having a bad attitude.

Speaker 2 (42:10):
So flip that.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
Both ways and think of the theme between now and
October and remember this write this down like maybe make
a note in your calendar to check in with yourself
a couple of times every single month between now and October?
Are my friendships supporting my hope's wishes and dreams? And
am I supporting the hopes, wishes and dreams of my friendships, alliances,

(42:34):
affiliations and associations. I know I'm harping on that, but
that's a big nuanced checkpoint for all of us as
we transit through this. Also at the very beginning of May,
and I think it's on May second officially, but will
feel it May first, second, third, and fourth ish Venus

(42:55):
will conjunct Neptune at zero degrees of aries. Venus is shifting,
has shifted into areas at that zero point, and by
the time we hit May first, so I think it's
May second that the exact conjunction between Venus and Neptune happens.
And that's the zero point of the zodiac. Essentially, it

(43:17):
is the pioneer, it is the primal life force energy
and Venus is about love, beauty, relationships, finances, and Neptune
is about divine love inspired, divine creativity. So the first
couple of days, the first three days of May.

Speaker 2 (43:37):
Shoot make a wish or two like.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
Make a wish from love, pure, positive potential. And with
Pluto standing still in the sky, it is like anchored,
transformatively anchored. It's a great time to lovingly and creatively
set an intention, make a wish. And also remember how
it was saying this is a month of where the
rubber meets the road, where it's Do my actions reflect

(44:05):
the evolution I've experienced internally. Do something creative, demonstrate your creativity,
demonstrate your love in the first three days and not
I mean, sure, demonstrate your love and creativity anytime, but
I would say, demonstrate your love and.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
Creativity in the first three days.

Speaker 1 (44:25):
And for me, I go to service like I think
of who can I reach out and offer my love
to and service to with no strings attached? And I've
already done it three times this morning, from three different
things that my circumstances and life dictated back to me.
I'm not going to share those experiences because they're personal,

(44:47):
but I thought, WHOA, this person needs my prayers or
this person needs this, and I can give this to them,
you know, and give it freely with no strings attached,
no expectations. And for me, that's service is part of
my heart. And it's also where I know I can
be creative, Like my creativity sometimes is in my energy

(45:11):
field or my heart, or my prayers or the magic
that I love to create in the energy field and
believe in. So where is your creativity and how can
you use it in service? In these first few days.
I think that we'll set the stage in a really
beautiful way for all of us and for each of
us individually. On May tenth, Mercury will enter Taurus. So

(45:37):
Mercury has been in aries and will be in Aries,
which is just remember Mercury, planet of the mind, aries, pioneering, fighting, bold,
up in your face. Sometimes I know who I am
kind of energy. It is active and bold and firing
and communicative, communicative and firing and wiring, sometimes reactive. As

(46:01):
Mercury shifts into Taurus, there's more, there's like whoop, we
kind of pull back a little bit. We we ground in,
We stabilize, our mind stabilizes a little bit. I'm not
saying you're just going to feel stable, peaceful and great.
But see if you notice around like May eleventh, let's say,

(46:24):
like once Mercury has shifted. See if you wake up
on May eleventh and your mind feels different than on
May tenth, and it may not, and if it doesn't,
so what that is no big deal. But I did
a workshop this weekend and one of the big themes
that we talked about was recognizing the energy shifts. And

(46:48):
I know, I notice how I feel on a new moon.
I notice how I feel on a full moon, and
it's funny, like one of the things I have tracked
and noticed within myself on full moons. Full moons are
typically extroverted. It doesn't mean that you want to get
out and party and go and do, but there's that
tension and the energy field that pulls things out, pulls

(47:10):
things from the inside out. Well, almost every full moon
I feel wickedly introverted. So I feel the opposite of
what the energy says. And I've noticed that the last
couple of years, so full moons, where you normally would
kind of want to be out and extroverted and sharing
and doing, I'm always like, oh no, I got to

(47:31):
go within. So notice these astrological chant chant transits. Excuse
me and these changes and see how see if you
notice things in the energy field. This is and this
is in an effort to first of all, be self aware, cognizant, present,

(47:52):
to be present to your experience it's unique to you.
And also it's in a sense to help you heighten
your intuition, your truth, your voice, your instincts. Because as
Mercury shifts into Taurus, we've we've gotten a lot of

(48:13):
work with Mercury in Aries, and it's retrograde through Aries
and is it backed up into Pisces. That's changing, so
it's moving into some new territory. It's kind of been
stuck in this energy of this dance between Aries and
Pisces for a while, so has Venus. And we've got

(48:35):
a big thing happening. At the end of this month.
Saturn will shift and join Neptune in Aries. So as
Mercury shifts into Taurus, pay attention to where you're finding
some slow down mentally and can you embrace it. May

(49:01):
twelfth is a full moon in Scorpio. Full moon's in
Scorpio are intense anyway you slice it or dice it,
and whatever the astrology surrounding of full moon in Scorpio,
even if it's trines and sex tiles and beautiful you know,
unicorns and rainbows, it's still intense because it's Scorpio, for
goodness sakes. This full moon is at twenty two degrees,

(49:24):
yes a master number at twenty two degrees, and it
occurs at twelve fifty six pm Eastern Time on May twelfth,
So depending on where you are, it could happen on
May eleventh or.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
It could happen. Well, no, that's not right.

Speaker 1 (49:39):
Sorry, it's going to be on It's on May twelfth,
most everywhere in the globe, but it's at twenty two
degrees of Scorpio and Scorpio full moon's the call to
action for me is always around alchemy and transmutation, but
it's a big call to action around emotional intelligence, emotional purging,

(50:02):
intense truth telling. Remember we are only as sick as
our secrets, karmic reckonings, sometimes shedding outdated attachments, especially that
are emotional or psychological, psycho spiritual, energetic. So it's like
the emotion, your emotional state, your emotional temperature gauge is

(50:26):
your check to something deeper psychological and psycho spiritual. But
Scorpio full moons are about empowerment through emotional transparency, shadow work,
healthy vulnerability, honesty, So really looking at your shadows, your fears,

(50:48):
maybe what you've been avoiding. So practicing emotional honesty with
yourself is where the juice is during this full moon.
And I'm going to talk of the numerology of the
twenty two for a second, because the full moon is
at twenty two degrees. The master builder two plus two

(51:09):
equals four. The energy of the four is about step
by step process sustainability. Sound like Taurus a little bit,
it is. It's very earthy the four. But the master builder,
the two to two code is about building dreams into reality.

(51:30):
It is about your life's work. It is not about
a short term goal coming to light or a short
term goal coming to completion. It is about the story
and the legacy you are building over the course of
this lifetime. So the twenty two in numerology and the

(51:53):
twenty second degree adds another layer of intensity to an
already intense full moon. Figure out where twenty two degrees
of Tarus falls in your chart so you can see
what house it is falling in, and that'll give you
a few more details around what is being transformed over

(52:17):
the course of the next thirty days. For you, be
mindful of getting trapped or stuck in emotional intensity. Tarus
stuck scorpio so penetrating that it likes to stay in
that intensity. It's about release essentially, and also mistaking emotional

(52:41):
drama for emotional depth. I'm going to repeat that, mistaking
emotional drama for emotional depth. So you may want to
ask yourself what emotional patterns are you stuck in and
are you ready to heal or are you ready to transmute?
And also looking at attachments. The polarity of Scorpio and

(53:05):
Taurus has to do with attachment, whether it's physical attachment
to things, people, money, or its emotional energetic codependency fusion
kind of attachment. So looking at your codependencies, and not
only with literal things, but with emotions. What emotions? What

(53:28):
sick twisted emotions? And I'm saying this with a big
smile on my face, What sick twisted emotions do you like.

Speaker 2 (53:34):
To be in?

Speaker 1 (53:35):
And I'm laughing because I'm like, oh, I know when
I get all sick in my judgment and my self righteousness,
and I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm taking people's inventory. I'm right,
they don't know, and I can mistake that for clarity
and truth when actually it's just freaking insanity and ego
self seeking, self will run riot. It's my ego that's inflating,

(53:59):
not my higher This is a very profound, transformative, intense
and because of the five in numerology that if there
is a kind of a window this month for emotional
explosions in drama, this full moon would be it. So

(54:24):
if you've got some explosions or just you know what
hits the fan around this time this month, this is
a good time to say, Okay, I'm human, I'm messy.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
What's my part in this? What's my role?

Speaker 1 (54:36):
What am I ready to heal? How can I own
my side of the street? How can I own my messiness?
My shadow? Because it's the way through The shadow leads us.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
To the light.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
The light doesn't exist without the darkness. And that's that's
the Scorpio full moon all right. On May twentieth, the
sun will enter Gemini. Whoo, the volume tear and stuff.
We go from some stibility and some intensity in the
month to all of a sudden, squirrel, squirrel, squirrel. The

(55:10):
mind is just busy and active, and I want to
say something about this because this is very significant. Jupiter
is still in Gemini. Jupiter will be in Gemini until June,
and I cannot remember the date off the top of
my head where Jupiter shifts into cancer. We'll talk about
that in June, because June will change from we'll ingress

(55:33):
into cancer, shift from Gemini to cancer in June. But
we've got Jupiter at its final degrees of Gemini and
the sun will enter Gemini. All you Geminis out there,
whether you're Gemini, Sun, Gemini moon are rising, this is
an important time. I mean, yes, it's your birthday. Happy birthday,

(55:55):
Gemini energies. But it's like utilizing the energy of Gemini
to its highest will be important. And being mindful of
the exacerbation of the shadow. And I will talk about
that shortly when I talk about.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
The new moon in Gemini.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
So remember with Gemini, get your facts together, gather the data,
gather the facts, communicate honestly and in integrity, and also
remember to stand still. Sometimes. Gemini is such an intellectual, witty, quick,

(56:38):
busy energy and I love that about Gemini Geminis. And
I'm smiling because what I love about Geminis and Gemini
energy is they get stuff done and they do it
and they get it off their plate fast, you know,
their kind of sister signed me of Libra. Over here,

(56:58):
Whe're like, well we progress fascinate a little bit. Okay,
I need to get this done. Let me get it done. Okay,
I'll do it a little bit later. Whereas Jim and
I was like, okay, let's do it. Let's do it
right now, Let's get it done. Okay, get it done.
Like mentally, they do not mentally feel the overwhelm that
some of us do. Doesn't mean that they're not feeling
because they will detach from their emotions and just go, go, go,

(57:20):
think and do, and they will distract from their emotions.
But they get stuff done irl in real life, in
real time. So get things done. Use this energy, especially
with Jupiter, to think and put your thoughts, your healthy
thoughts into action. On May twenty fourth, Saturn will enter aries.

(57:48):
This is a whole energy and a whole thing. And
I will do a podcast dedicated to this because it
at because we will have both Neptune and Saturn now
in aries and they will both be in aries, and
don't quote me on this. I'll look at it and
I will get the dates for you when I do
another podcast specifically as it relates to Saturn and a

(58:09):
little bit of Neptune in aries. But I think they
both retrograde back into Pisces in October ish, so don't
quote me on that. But they're both going to be
conjoined for a few months in aries, then they'll back
up into Pisces and then in twenty twenty six. I
think February ish they can join again and they will

(58:33):
move forward in Aris. So this is starting like a
big change is happening. And when we have Saturn shift
from spiritual watery like, creative, loving, compassionate, sometimes delusional, elusive Pisces,
Saturn is not comfortable in Pisces. And all you out

(58:53):
there have been going through your Saturn return, your first
or second one. I knowpe lots of people out there
who are either in their first or second Saturn return
because they've got Saturn and Pisces. I know you all
are like, just get me through to the other side,
because I've been worked and you're going to have a
little relief and then you'll get a few more lessons

(59:14):
when it backs up, we all will. But as Saturn
shifts into Arees, it is a drastically different energy than
Saturn in Pisces. Saturn is about maturity, responsibility, taking responsibility,
and doing things in a very strategic, practical way, showing up,

(59:38):
taking responsibility, rolling up your sleeves and doing the work,
whatever that work may be. In Arees, there's a fire,
a boldness, a courage to face things and do the work.
And again I'm not going to go too much into
Saturn in Ares. I'll do a whole podcast on that,

(59:59):
so you have the ins and outs and questions because
it's it's significant and it really it asks of a
little bit more attention so we can navigate it better.
But know that there's a shift the twenty fourth, twenty fifth,
twenty sixth, Like as we shift into the end of
May and into June, see what you notice because Saturn

(01:00:22):
and Pisces has been asking us to do a lot
of spiritual work. Are you creating spiritual discipline Saturn discipline,
Pisces spirituality and transcendence. Aries is the fighter, the pioneer,
the bold, courageous warrior. So it's so when Saturn goes
into Aries, Saturn's like, yeah, buckle down in Aries is like,

(01:00:47):
bring it on. So guess what overreacting fight anger, There's
a lot of shadow that can come out of this
that is less elusive and delusional and psych go spiritual.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
As it is.

Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
I'm here, I'm gonna fight for my cause whether I
really believe in it or not, and I lose sight
of what my motivations are. So Saturn in Pisces, it's
been really been psycho spiritually working us and changing us
and evolving us, and Saturn in Aries says, now again
rubber meets the road, and you're gonna have to test

(01:01:25):
it out Irl.

Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
In real life.

Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
On May twenty sixth, there's a new moon in Gemini,
and this is at six degrees of Gemini at eleven
oh two PM Eastern Time. So for this one, because
it's eleven oh two, the new moon may happen May
twenty seventh for you, depending on what time zone you're in,
so it's either May twenty six or May twenty seventh.

(01:01:50):
The new moon in Gemini is drastically different than the
full moon in Scorpio. It's a time of fresh mint,
whole ideas, activity, new conversations, curiosity, renewed curiosity, planting seeds
that are more flexible, open minded, open hearted in our communication,

(01:02:15):
in our perspectives. It's about gathering and sharing information without
dogma and rigidity. It's about not being attached to one truth.
Two things can be true at once. If there is
a zodiac sign that personifies two things can be true
at once, it's our friends in the Geminis in Gemini energy.

(01:02:39):
So strategies for this full moon are really around setting
intentions in your communication, your open mindedness, learning, networking, embracing
a beginner's mind and approach to life, an openness, curiosity,
brainstorming different perspectives before you make decisions, looking at both

(01:03:02):
sides of things, trying out new habits or bringing in
new awareness, new habits, new hobbies, even that stimulate your
mind and stimulate your soul. Gemini hasn't so much about
stimulating the soul as it is stimulating our cognition, our

(01:03:24):
thinking minds being stimulated, What stimulates you? Who stimulates you?
And deeper than that, my question is was that enriching
so that the depth of Gemini goes to enrichment when
it's like, oh, that was so much fun, I learned
so much. I understand this differently now, and that's the enrichment.

(01:03:47):
It's kind of like when I talk about gratitude, and
the higher frequency of gratitude is appreciation. For Gemini, the
curiosity and the learning and the the mental stimulation, the
higher frequency of that is enrichment. So ask yourself during
this new moon, where am I ready to open my

(01:04:10):
mind to new possibilities? And how can I communicate more
open mindedly and open heartedly honor my truth, but recognize
that two things can be true at once. You know
what that makes me think of is there's your truth,
there's my truth, and there's the truth. Or there's your

(01:04:32):
perspective of what happened, there's my perspective advantage point of
what happened, and then there's the perspective. That's what Jim
and I is. Jem and I is curious about all
three perspectives and finding that middle way, finding the middle way.
So remember, May is a month of IRL in real life,

(01:04:55):
rubber meets the road, putting your growth and your into practice,
finding your serenity, safety and security, and being still within
while making progress, looking for the adventure, opening your heart.

(01:05:18):
There's a lot of energy this month because as I
try to like tell you the themes, I'm like a
lot's going on. That's the energy of the five. It's
like bare squirrel, squirrel, squirrel, There's a lot. So see
what sticks and resonates with you and put it into practice.
It may feel a bit overwhelming and confusing, but see
if you can add in the state of like being excited,

(01:05:41):
being adventurous, recognizing greater freedom, opening your heart and mind
up to new perspectives and seeing how your daily life
gives you opportunities to practice that in new and evolved
and more matured ways. All right, everyone, be well and

(01:06:02):
find your adventurous heart and spirit in May. And remember
we're only as sick as our secrets, So get really
honest with yourself and share that with other people so
you feel a sense of connection and belonging at home
in your own skin.
