Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello friends, Welcome to Biology Squad. We are a team
of spies who specialize in science. You see, Doctor Stinky
Breath in the Purple Ninjas are trying to take over
the world through science, and it is up to us
to stop them before it is too late. Last time

(00:25):
on s Biology Squad, we heard that the Purple Ninjas
are working on some kind of extra stinky stinkbug that
has escaped, and Doctor Sinky Breath does not like bugs,
so they're a little worried about that and something with
avan jaden and mosquitoes.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, let's see what happens next. Oh, what is that
wonderful stink? He smell? Pepperinchage vot? Is that smell? It's delicious?

(01:09):
Doctor stinky Breath was just waking up, and although he
liked that smell, he was about to realize his worst
nightmare had come true. What is what is that bugs?
The all over the place purple ingines. Doctor Stinky Breath
had jumped on top of his dresser to get off

(01:32):
the floor because he was covered in all these bugs.
Pepperinchas Vot is going down, pas pens.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
What's right? Where we're here? What?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh dear, what is this? Explain? This.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
This looks exactly like the same stinky bugs that you
had in the blimp lab.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Explain yourself, Pepper ninchas.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Well, we had a rattle bit of a mistake. One
got out the window.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
There is a lot more than van bug in my room.
You must be lies.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
No, no, we're not lying. There's bugs. They seem to
be replicating faster than normal. It's all unfortunately that one
has now turned into about five thousand.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Five thousand bugs. How is that possible?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Land all over my house? I do not I don't
like the bugs. Abun Ninjas. You must fix these now.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Okay, okay, we will find something that but it's the bugs.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
You better fix these now.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
I don't want bugs in my house, in my yard,
anywhere around here.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Got it? Yeah, yeah, we're all over it.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
We totally understand and we'll affect it.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Don't worry, don't very, I always worry about your Papa, Ninjas.
It was now the next day and Ava and Jaden
we're practicing some of their karate.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Shure.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I'm tired, said Jaden. I need some water. Yeah, let's
hydrate before our run. Our run, asked Jaden. Oh yeah,
how long do we need to run? Again. Ava looked
at a piece of paper and said, uh, looks like
we're scheduled for we should do a mile. That would

(03:33):
be great for today, she said, So let's do the
big loop around the neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Okay, well, let's just uh you know, knock uh I
pace ourselves too too crazy now, okay, asked Jadon, as
Ava was already off running.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Okay, I'll keep up. Just uh uh wait up for me,
shout out Jaden. Ava and Jaden were running around their
nameborhood and it wasn't long before Ava smelled something ew cross.
What's that smell, Jaden? Is that you? She asked? Ummm, nope,

(04:14):
definitely not me. Thanks a lot for that, said Jaydon.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
But as a second, barely breathe, it's so bad that
came out of nowhere.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
They both stopped running and plug their nose and try
and figure out where in the world that smell is
coming from. Ava. Do you do you see anything that
could make this terrible smell? It smells like a dirty diaper,
said Ava. Whoa something a huge just flew by my head,

(04:45):
said Ava. Oh yeah, that's a stink bug, said Jaden.
Holy smokes, they smell terrible horrendous. That is the most
disgusting thing I've ever seen in my entire life, said Ava. Same. Definitely, same,
said Jaden. Let's maybe catch it and bring it back

(05:06):
to the lab and see what in the world is
going on with this thing. I'm not touching one of those,
said Ava. Here, she handed him a bag, and Jayden
started running around to grab one of those stinky bugs
and put him in the bag. There were a ton
of these stink bugs. They were everywhere. This was all
very unusual, and Ava and Jaden both knew in the

(05:28):
back of the mines that this could be the beginning
of something absolutely terrible. Meanwhile, back at the Stinky Blimp lab,
the Purple Ninjas may have figured out a plan.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Hey, guys, look at this toad over here. He loves
eating those stink bugs. That might be the best way
to handle this one the booth. What are any more
bugs around his house? Oh, Loo's good as many of
those toads as we can. What are those toads called
cane toads. I can order them in both it says here.

(06:02):
Looks like I can get up to ten thousand of them. Wow,
how many do you think we should order?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Probably the two thousand.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Yeah, just in case, maybe we put in a special
order for a million of them.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
They should probably do the job.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Yeah, that's a great idea, ordering one million cane dons
coming right up.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
They were right. Cane toads. They eat almost anything that
they can fit inside of their mouth. They're good at
two things. They're very good jumpers and eating. They do
like to eat. But do you think that's a good
idea to introduce a different animal to take care of
a problem like that. I don't know. It sounds like

(06:46):
they could be setting themselves up for an even bigger problem.
Backet's biology squad HQ, Ava and Jaden had been running
some tests on that stink bug that they had caught. Jaden,
come look at these results, said Ava. She was standing
behind a big lab table with a whole bunch of
beakers and test tubes and stuff. And I guess had
pulled out some of that stinky, disgusting juice from one

(07:08):
of the bugs. Yeah, what is it? Ava, said Jadon
as he jogged on over. So two things I found,
said Ava. First, is this stinkbug naturally occurs here? She
was pointing on a big world map on the other side,
of the world, shouted Jaden. Yes, but that's not the

(07:29):
most crazy part. Look inside of the bag that we
caught one stink bug. What are you talking about? How
are there so many in here now? Shouted Jaden. Jaden,
get down from the table, Calm down, said Ava. We
have a serious problem on our hands that we definitely
need to get mister Jim in here, because we have stinkbugs.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
From the other side of the world who are multiplying
at an incredibly large rate, and they smell like ten
thousand times worse than they normally should.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Uh that sounds like you know who, said Jaden. I know,
we all know who is doing this, but I don't
think doctor sinkbreath realizes the potential danger that he's just
unleashed on the world. If these stinkbugs don't have any
natural predators around here and they can reproduce like this fast,

(08:21):
we are in for some serious stinky trouble. Sh Ava, Jaden,
this is mister Jim. Are you there over? Sh Ava
ran over and grabbed the walkie talkie. Hey, mister Jim,
we were just uh just about to call you. Uh,
but what's going on?

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Sh You're not gonna believe this There are toads everywhere
in my backyard, and not toads that normally live here.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
These are called cane toads. Do you know about cane toads,
shouted mister Jim. Sh No, I don't know what a
cane toad is, said Jaden.

Speaker 6 (08:58):
Sh they're pretty much nature's garbage disposal. Wherever they go,
they just eat a ton of everything, and they're not
naturally around here.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Someone must have let them go. Do you have any
clue what's going on? Asked mister Jim. Sh Apa and
Jaden looked at each other completely confused. Sh mister Jim,
you're gonna need to get to HQ because with what
we just discovered and what you're talking about, something seriously

(09:29):
wrong is going on. Hurry get here fast. Oh no,
what in the world is going on? We got stink
bugs and cane toads. It sounds like the whole ecosystem
around them is in turmoil. Is this all from me?

(09:50):
Because what the purple ninches were doing? I don't know
how they're gonna solve this one, but we're gonna have
to wait and see what happens on the next episode
