Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, friends, Welcome to his Biology Squad. We are a
team of spies who specialize in science. You see doctor
Stinky Breath in the Purple Ninjas are trying to take
over the world through science, and it is up to
us to stop them before it is too late.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
On the last episode, we saw that Ava and Jaden
have discovered a whole bunch of frogs that somehow died
in the forest back by doctor Stinkybread's property. We're not
exactly sure why there's so many dead frogs, but I
think it's connected to something that's going on with the
Purple Ninjas. Well, let's see what happens next. We gotta

(00:50):
get back to HQ qu on Janden, Ava and Jayden.
We're running back to HQ as fast as they could,
hoping to find mister Jimmy inside. Mister Jim, shouted Jayden.
Mister Jim, are you inside? Shouted Av as they ran
towards the back door. Guys, WHOA what's all the shouting,

(01:11):
said mister Jim. We just saw a ton of dead
animals over at the river by doctor Stinkybrud's property, said Jaden,
you saw what? Wait? What kind of animals were they?
They were all frogs, said Ava. I think we saw
like seven or eight of them that were all dead. WHOA,

(01:32):
that sounds really bad. Were there any other animals that
were dead or was it just frogs?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Well?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I did see a really happy looking turtle. We didn't
see anything else that have died. It was just the frogs.
Mister Jim stood there with his hand on his chin
and he was thinking really hard. So, mister Jim, what
do we do? Guys? I'm pretty sure we have to
call mister Luke. I bet he'll know exactly what's going on.

(01:59):
You see, mister Luke is on the Critter Protector Team.
This is a very important team whose job is to
protect the critters of all shapes and sizes, both in
your backyard and around the world. Mister Luke knows a
lot about critters of all shapes and sizes. Hopefully he
will have a clue of what's going on. Mister Jim,

(02:20):
Ava and Jayden all ran inside of HQ. Mister Jim
was headed over to one of the walkie talkies to
call out to mister Luke. Sh Hey, mister Luke, mister Jim, here,
we got a problem on our hands that we could
really use your help with sh Hey, guys, uh, I'll
do my best here. What's going on, said mister Luke.

(02:42):
Sh Well, Ava and Jayden just found a whole bunch
of dead frogs at a river near us. Do you
have any idea what could be causing that? Sh Oh? No,
that's awful, said mister Luke. I hate it when there's
dead critters. Well, are there other dead animals or was
it only the frogs? Sh It was only frogs. We

(03:05):
saw like seven or eight of them. We didn't see
a really happy turtle, but yeah, all the frogs seem
to be dead. Sh wow. Okay, Well, first thing that
comes to mind is to check for a fungal infection,
specifically Ki trivio mycosis. Sh Uh, what did mister Luke
just say, asked Jaden. Kit trivia what sh I know,

(03:29):
it's a big word, but yeah, Ki trivio mycosis is
a deadly disease that is very dangerous for all amphibians.
Sh Oh. If it's only for amphibians, is that why
the turtle we saw was still alive? Sh Yeah. Turtles
are reptiles, so that could be why the reason why

(03:51):
Chi trivio mycosis is so dangerous for amphibians is because
the skin of amphibians is extremely delicate. It lets it
almost everything it touches, said mister Luke, Which is why
it's a good idea to just look at frogs and
salamanders instead of picking them up, because you never know
what might be on your hands. Sh Holy smokes, said Ava,

(04:17):
because what's on my hands could go right through their skin.
Sh exactly, said mister Luke. Sh Wow, thanks, mister Luke.
It looks like me and Ava are gonna need to
head back and get a sample to verify if we
have an outbreak of Kai trivio Kai katrity it's Kai
trito mycosis, said Ava. Yeah. That mister Jim grabbed under

the walkie talkie and said, okay, mister Luke, thanks for
all the help, and we'll keep you updated as soon
as we learn anything else. Sh all right, good luck guys,
over and out. Sh all right, Avon Jade, you're right,
we're gonna need some samples of those frog specimens so
that we can check for that ka tridiomycosis. Bring some

(05:03):
gloves with you and make sure to touch as little
as possible. I hear this stuff can spread very quickly,
and we don't want to make the situation worse. You
got it, mister jim Ava. Are you ready? Yep? I
got some sample containers for the specimens, and here's some gloves.
Come on, Jayden, let's go. Meanwhile, at the Purple Blim,

(05:23):
doctor Stinky Breath seems to be crying because this stinky
toad has died suddenly. Hey do I hear the bods crying? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Bet eh, hack show take those boots off?

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Making me sneeze? Wait? Why the only one boon on? Oh? Sorry,
it got though the word got stuck in the bud
by the river. Hey, let's go check out the boss.
She was my favorite pet. What happened?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Oh dear, so sorry, boss, I don't know. She was
pretty old.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Fellow paper ninjas, I've had this very special stinky old.
I have a since my birthday three years ago. She
what's my best friend?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
How does this happen?

Speaker 4 (06:24):
We will walk into it, Buss, it must be spiology
squad was behind you.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
All, yes, yes, you must be right? Huh but you sure?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Why am I sneezing so much? Tory Bus? It's my
fungus boots, you know from Queen judges.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Get those out of your pepper ninjas and find out
why my stinky told died. It must be s biology squad,
now get to work. As Ava in arrive back at
the river, they were shocked to find even more dead frogs. Oh,

(07:07):
this is getting even worse. I know, Jaden, quick, you
gotta take a sample and get back to the lab.
We can't let this get out of control. Holy smokes, you're.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Right, Ava. Now what if that ki trita my coosis stuff?
What if it starts to spread throughout the whole forest? Well,
we can't let that happen, can't we. Ava carefully put
some of the frog specimens into a container from the lab.
All right there, Now, let's get back and see if

(07:40):
mister Luke was right. Hold on, Ava, look closely at
those footprints right there. Ava turned around and knelt down
next to Jaden. Saw that those footprints did have some
very strange, dusty looking powder on them. Jaden, grab one
of those other containers out of my let's take a

(08:01):
sample of that stuff. I just don't have a good
feeling about it. Jaden reached down with the container and
carefully scooped up some of the powdery stuff. Yeah, let's
get out of here. Come on, Ava, Well oof, oh Jaden,
are you okay?

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:19):
I just tripped over this, Oh nasty boot stuck in
the mud. They both realized that was the boot from
all the footprints they had seen. Good, it's too good
to be over here.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Where Why are we walking through the forest all the
way back here?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
They're getting closer. Come on, grab that boot. Let's get
out of here, said Ava. They grabbed the boot and
started running as fast as they could back to h Q.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Where did you say you left your boot?

Speaker 2 (08:50):
I think I stuck it. Uh dig a guy stuck
here right a road right here.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
I don't say anything.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
I love those boots, that know. I only have one
boot and nobody suck.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Come on, let's get back and figure out what's going on.
The boss is still really upset.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
As Ava and Jaden arrived back at HQU, mister Jim
was already to start performing the analysis. Hey, guys, come
in this way. We have to stay in this back room.
We have to quarantine these specimens so we don't contaminate
all of HQ. Let's start running the test to see
if this is really kai tridio micosis. What do you

(09:30):
need us to do, asked Jaden. Well, first hand me
those test tubes and the beakers. We have a lot
of work ahead of us. Mister Jim was right. It
took the rest of the day, but finally they had
an answer. Ava was carefully watching the timer and finally, beep, beep, beep. Guys,

(09:52):
the timer went off. Great. So, mister Jim, you said,
the solution in this beaker turns bright purple. Uh, that
means it's positive for Kaitronium mycoasis. Yes, said mister Jim.
Is it purple? Avil looked inside the beaker and nervously said, yeah,
it's definitely bright purple. Oh no, no, no, no, said Jaden,

(10:17):
with his hands on his head.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
What do we do?

Speaker 2 (10:20):
What do we do? Does this mean every amphibian is
going to die? Mister Jim shook his head and said,
I'm not sure, Jayden, but we have a contaminated forest
out there. It's going to be up to us to
save all those amphibians and glean the forest before it's
too late. Oh no, what in the world it's gonna happen?

(10:43):
Is biology squad gonna be able to save the amphibians
in time? Not sure? What's gonna happen next, But we're
gonna have to wait and see what happens on the
