Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello friends, welcome to Biology Squad. We are a team
of spies who specialize in science. You see, doctor Stinky
Breath in the purple Ninjas are trying to take over
the world through science, and it is up to us
to stop them before it is too late.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Hey, boss, you know who are jet packs? Are always
breaking it? You know, all of our gear is never
able to handle the you know, us trying to take
over the.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
World Reber ninjas. Of course I know that. Why would
you bring this up? Of course I know that we
need to have better gear.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
And okay, well, anyway, do you see that big hole
down there?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Doctor Stinky Breath walked over to the window inside of
their blimp lab and took a look down. Foh, that
is a big hole. Did we do that? You see?
Their blimp was flying over a giant mining site.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Do you know what?

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Those are? Mining sites whereas they dig a big hole
in the ground and they look for certain minerals or
elements that are found deep down in the dirt or
inside of rocks. This particular mining site specialized in finding silicone.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
You see, doctor, I heard once that's Biology Squad use silicone.
Then they're chips and a lot of their gear. That
gave them the spin. What's that word nobility? Yeah, stability.
It gave them my billet, not just it made their
stuff be able to endure heat and pressure a lot

(01:51):
better than our stuff. So that's why their gear never
breaks down.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Okay, take a deep breath, purple NINGI don't understand. What
do you think about?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Like, what if we took it over? What if we
controlled that mind and the source of all the silicon,
we would get a limited access to it, which we
could make all of art, you know, jet packs and
our gear a lot better and stronger, and it might
also stops biology squad and all of their gear.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I now sees a plan. Yes, Pepper leinches, I like it.
Let's make it happen. Meanwhile, across town, Ava and Jaden
were getting onto the school bus after their field trip
to the recycling center. Ava, I'm over here, I got

(02:44):
a seat for you. Jaden was waving, Oh, thanks, I
couldn't find any seats up there. So Jaden, what did
you think of the recycling center?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
That was so awesome?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
How they're able to reuse all that stuff and like
melt it down and make things. That's pretty awesome, said Jaden.
I know it's way better than dumping everything into the ground,
said Ava. Yeah, tell me about it, said Jaden. Kind
of makes me want to do something with what we
learned today. Uh, Like, what do you mean you want

(03:17):
to open up a recycling center, asked Ava. Not exactly,
but I don't know. Like what if we were able
to make a business out of recycling something like from
kids at school that they were done with, and then
we could turn it into something I don't know, maybe
you could come up with something cool. Yeah that does
sound pretty cool, said Ava. But what do we recycle?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Hmm?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Well, I'm not sure yet, but let's keep thinking. Yeah,
how about after school, me and you can meet up
at HQ and ask mister Jim if he has any ideas,
said Ava. Sounds like a plan, said Jayden. Meanwhile, way
far away at the Stinky Blimp, the Purple Ninjas have
somehow figured out how to take take over that mine.

(04:02):
Great job, pepor Ninjas. How did you do that? I
thought it would be much hot than while you did it.
Tell me what was the secret to taking over the
Silicon Mine?

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Well, we weren't exactly sure what to do with then,
Professor Sticky fingers. He was pretty helpful as he used
his super sticky goo stuff to stop all the traps
from being able to get in and out of the mine,
which made it pretty easy for us to shut it
down and take it over.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Vows. That is impressive work. Now, how long will it
be before we can start to implement the design of
our jet packed chips and upgrade all of our gear
to be as good as this Biology Squad's gear.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Well, take a look at this. This just came off
of our three and D printer. Check it out. They
handed Doctor Stinkybreath the newly designed chip that they were
going to put inside of their jet packs. I cannot
vait to have functional jet packs that don't.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Keep breaking down every time he turns the mother. All right,
Pepper Ninjas, let's get seas installed and see how fast
they can fly. Back over at HQ, Ava and Jaden
had just arrived. They pulled their access cards out of

(05:27):
their bags to open up the door. Have you gotten
your access card yet?

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:32):

the original one and only Biology Squad access card, the
same one that Ava and Jaden use to open up
the door at HQ. Hey, mister Jim, how you doing

(05:56):
wave Jaden, Hey guys, it's great to see you. Mister Jim.
He was spinning around on his swivel chair in the office.
So tell me about everything. You guys had that field
trip today, right, he asked. Yes, it was awesome, said Jaden. Yeah,
he's right, it was a pretty good day. Like we
got to see how they turned stuff that's like garbage,

(06:17):
like totally useless, and they melt it down and turn
it into something else, said Ava. And it gave Jadon
and I a pretty good idea. Yeah, we want to
start some kind of recycling business where we can turn
something garbage e and turn it into something awesome. Jaden
said it with his hands flying across the sky like

(06:39):
he was imagining a big billboard up in colorful lights,
and he had a pretty good imagination. Yeah, that does
sound like a pretty good idea, said mister Jim. So
what are we gonna be recycling? He asked Avan Jaden.
Both looked at each other with a blank look on
their face. Uh, well, we haven't exactly figured out that

(07:00):
part yet, said Eva, But we were wondering if you
had any ideas what mister Jim turned around and look
at the main controls. It looks like I gotta I
don't know. There's a message for Maine HQ. Hey, while
I go listen to see what Maine HQ has to say.

(07:20):
I got some new shoes for you. Over there, they're
in a box in the back. They're brand new spy shoes.
Go check them out. No way, I call the red ones,
shouted Jaden as they both raced over to check out
their new spy gear. They love getting issued some new
spy gear, and today I guess with shoe Dah. As
they opened up their boxes, they couldn't believe it how

(07:41):
awesome the spy shoes were. Wow, these are the best
ones ever, Saidayva. Yeah, what are these little bags in here?
Said Jaden. Oh, those are those silicon beads that I
think they put them inside of new things to help moisture,
not like rue in the shoe or something. Oh yeah,

(08:02):
do you know what Jaden's talking about? Yeah, those those
little bags that it says like do not eat this,
and sometimes there are in some of our new things. Well,
I guess inside are those little silicone beads that help
absorb the moisture so that it doesn't ruin whatever new
thing is inside of that box. As fast as they could,
Ava and Jaden were putting on their new spy shoes,

(08:23):
and then mister Jim walked over with some bad news. Guys,
I just got off the phone with Maine HDQ. It's
not good. What happened, said Ava, Well, one of our
minds got taken over. Someone took over Minecraft, shouted Jaden. No,
not Minecraft mines. There are these big holes that we

(08:44):
dig in the ground to collect some minerals to use
them to build other things. So where was that mine at,
asked Ava. Mister Jim ran over to a big map
on the wall and said it looks like it's several
hours away by jet. Well, it sounds like we better
get started and this will be our very first mission

(09:04):
in our brand new spy shares, shouted Jayden. Yes, you
guys better grab your jet packs and get going because
it sounds like it's gotten pretty bad. Said mister Jim.
That mine is one of our really important sources of
materials that we used to build out our spy gear.
If we lose access to it, it could be a

(09:24):
serious problem for all of our jet packs and our
spy gear. Get there as fast as you can and
report back with what you find. Come on, Jaden, let's go,
shouted Ava. Oh no, what in the world is happening.
Have the Purple Ninjas and Doctors Sinky Breath really taken
control of that mine? And what does that mean for

(09:47):
all of our spy gear. Sounds like this could turn
into a serious problem if they're unable to find us
a lotion. I don't know. Sounds like we're gonna have
to wait and see what happens on the next episode
of Spyology Squad.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
