Hello, friends, Welcome to s Biology Squad. We are a
team of spies who specialize in science. You see, doctor
Stinky Breath in the Purple Ninjas are trying to take
over the world through science, and it is up to
us to stop them before it is too late. Last

(00:24):
time on Biology Squad, we learned that doctor Stinky Breath
in the Purple Ninjas are up to their next plan,
which is to stop the flow of water so that
we don't brush our teeth anymore. What in the world
is going to happen and how is Biology Squad going
to solve this one? As soon as school ended, Ava
and Jaden grabbed their bags and headed off to Spiology

(00:48):
Squad HQ. Jaden, that was so weird about those badgers
in the field. They looked almost like they were zombies,
just like walking through the field. It did not look normal,
said Ava. I know, Ava, it was so weird. Definitely
the craziest thing that I've ever seen a badger do,

(01:08):
which I guess I don't think I've ever seen a badger.
But all right, I think it's time to get to work.
Ava and Jaden opened the door to HQ to the
sound of beeping bee be be be beep, mister Jim,
what's going on, shouted Jaden. Guys, alarms all over the

(01:29):
city are going off. Something with the water is not right.
We have to figure out what's going on. Let's gather
the facts first. Let's head on over to the board,
mister Jim. Ava and Jaden walked over to their big
dry erase board, which is where they could put all
the facts. All right, so what are the things that

(01:49):
we know? Yeah, well, the water stopped flowing, said Jaden. Great,
all right, let's put that down. What else? Uh, the badgers.
I don't know if that's connected, but the badgers are
like a weird thing that happened today, said Ava. Yes,
that's pretty much all we have to go on. I
have no clue how these would be connected, said mister Jim.

(02:11):
But badgers and water, I guess this is where we're starting. Ava.
I need you to go check out the city water
systems and see where the problem is. There must be
some kind of sensor that's alarming. Or let's just see
what's going on. And Jaden, I need you to research
everything you can find about badgers and see why they

(02:31):
would be doing acting like zombies and walking through the
field together. All right, mister Jim, we'll see you. Ava
strapped on her jet pack and off, she blasted. She
was gonna fly to the water treatment facility first to
check for facts and clues. Back at h Q, Jaden

(02:53):
had learned a lot about badgers. All right, mister Jim,
here is what I've learned about badgers. They're pretty crazy.
All right, let me hear it, said mister Jim. All right. First,
they can run crazy fast, twenty miles an hour, holy smokes.
But they were not doing that. They were walking more
like zombie walking, like slow walking, not with their arms out,

(03:16):
but they were definitely not going twenty miles per hour,
Jaden said, all right. Next, they can dig really fast,
like super fast. I even saw that they can dig
through asphalt, said Jayden. Whoo, who said, mister Jim, you
said they can dig through like like a street. Yes,
they're pretty powerful, said Jaden. And a group of them

(03:41):
is called a clan, So I guess we might have
seen a big clan of badgers walking through the field,
a zombie clan. And two a couple more things. They
like to keep their houses clean, which that would make
my mom pretty happy. And lastly, Jaden was looking for

(04:01):
his last clue. There it is. Oh, they like honey,
they like honey, said mister Jim. I didn't know that,
I know, said Jaden. It's pretty crazy, but it's said
everywhere that badgers really like honey, so that might come
in handy you someday. Okay, well that's pretty interesting. Let

(04:22):
me call into Ava and see what's going on. Mister
Jim reached for his walkie talkie and called out to Ava. Ava,
are you there over? Hey, guys, yep, this is Ava,
and I'm at the water treatment facility right now. Everything
seems to be pretty fine here, like all the systems

(04:44):
are cleaning the water. The water's leaving here and heading
off to the water towers. But there does seem to
be some kind of low pressure at the output valve
near the water tower. So that's where I'm off to next. Wow,
that's really weird, said mister Jim. Are you sure, like,
did you check everything at the water treatment facility? Yeah,

(05:06):
they're pretty confused about it too, said Ava. They've checked everywhere.
All their systems of cleaning the water is working just fine.
But like I said, it's only that output valve near
the water tower. Huh okay, well, good find Ava. Uh,
let me know when you get to the water tower

(05:26):
and tell me what's going on. Sounds good. Over and out.
Sh Ava blasted off with her jetpack to head to
the water tower. It would have been a long walk
to get there, but she was really grateful for her jetpack.
Everyone on this biology squad gets a spy issued jet pack.

(05:49):
It's so awesome. It looks like a backpack, like one
that you would bring to school, but it has some
secret buttons and everyone likes secret buttons, right, I know,
I do. Well. It controls like the steering and now
how fast it goes, and it is definitely a tool
that every spy needs. Well. Ava was arriving at the

(06:13):
first water tower. There were water towers all over the city,
but she was headed to the tallest one of them all, well,
the one that was the highest. It was on Harry Mountain.
Harry Mountain was a really cool place. It wasn't really
a mountain. It was more like a big hill in
the city that didn't have any trees, just really long
grass and so when the wind blew by, the grass

(06:34):
would wave in the wind and it looked like that
big hill was hairy, and so that's why the kids
called it Harry Mountain. Wait, where's the water tower? Said Ava?
This is Harry Mountain right. She flew on her jetpack
all the way around Harry Mountain but couldn't see water

(06:55):
tower anywhere. Oh where'd it go? It's got it? Wait,
what's that over there? Ava flew closer to Harry Mountain
on the very top and landed down and all she
saw was a bunch of dirt. Wait a second, it
was totally right here, Holy smokes. I gotta call this in.

(07:20):
Ava reached for her walkie talkie and called into Spiology
Squad HQ. HQ, HQ, come in, I have something really
crazy over sh Ava. This is mister Jim. What's going
on over sh You won't believe this. I'm at Harry
Mountain where the water tower is supposed to be on

(07:41):
the top, and it looks like it's completely gone until
you get closer and then check this out. Ava took
a picture of what she was looking at and sent
it over to HQ. Holy smoked, Ava, this is insane,
mister Jim and Jayden couldn't believe it. The water tower

(08:02):
had somehow sunk into the ground. It was barely sticking
out of the ground. Water towers are huge. There must
have been a giant sinkhole or a hole or wait, Jaden,
did you say that badgers are really good diggers? Said
mister Jim oh I did. Wait a second, uh, Ava,

(08:24):
check and see if you see any badger holes nearby.
Ava ran around and sure enough, guys, there's badger holes
all over the top of Harry Mountain. You don't think
they dug a huge hole and made it sink, do you.
It looks like they did it on purpose. What in
the world would make can do that? Purple Ninjas, I

(08:51):
saw the report. It looks like oles the Vata towers
in the city have sunk below the ground. Is that true?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yes, it has bots. The badgers are doing great. We're
now gonna move on to the next inny, and the next,
and the next, and the pretty soon whole world well
not have any functional water towers anymore.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Great job for Ninjas, keep it up. Oh no, how
in the world is biology squad gonna stop the badgers
when they're being controlled by doctor stinky Breath. I don't know,
but we're gonna have to wait and see tomorrow. What
