This is straight Fire with Jason McIntire.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
What is up Straight Fire? Ray HiT's me Jason McIntyre
Straight Fire for Monday, May the twelfth. Hope everybody had
a phenomenal Mother's Day weekend. I wish I could say
the basketball was great, but unfortunately it was not a
lot of blowouts. We'll get to that. We had a
huge NFL story that kind of emerged out of nowhere
(00:32):
on Saturday. I had a low key fire weekend. It
was kind of exhausting. As you guys know, my kids
are due. My kids do sports, and my son plays chess. Well.
He won a chess tournament Saturday, which was kind of exciting,
and he won an undisclosed amount of money. I'm not
allowed to say. It's not a huge number, but for him,
he's liked for tax purposes. Can you not put it
out there. I was like, bro settle down and it
(00:57):
was a good feeling for him. And daughter played volleyball. Obviously,
celebrate a Mother's Day with a brunch in the beach,
and I am kind of excited. I got an e bike.
I'm not one of these early adopters for a lot
of things. I usually wait and a lot of my
buddies have e bikes, and you know, they'll go out
for drinks and I've got to like drive and meet them,
which is kind of lame, but whatever. So I got
(01:18):
an e bike, tinkered around with that thing. I know
they sound dangerous, this is It's basically a glorified bicycle
with a motor. This is nothing special. But yeah, overall,
it was a pretty action packed weekend. I will say
I got so much sleep. You know, Mother's Day Sunday,
nobody wants to wake up early, so I had one
of the best night's sleep of the year, you know,
(01:39):
slept in for the first time in a while. Saturday
could not do that because I woke up early to
play hoops, and then I had to take my kid
to the chest tournament, and I wasn't I'm trying to
do this new thing. Guys. There's less sports happening obviously,
so I'm trying to do less phone. I didn't get
one text about the Derek Carr retirement Saturday morning, now one,
(02:00):
and so I didn't see it for a few hours.
You know, I played hoops and I'm driving my kid
around and then I'm like, all right, I gotta make
sure we got the right flowers from Mother's Day and
all this stuff, and I'm just like thrilled to not
be really online. And then I see the Derek cards.
I'm like, holy cal wait a minute. Derek Carr was
rumored to have like a shoulder issue and he was
(02:21):
thinking about surgery, but he was delaying surgery, and all
of a sudden, then Derek Carr just up and retires.
I mean that was pretty stunning to me. I mean,
he's a young guy to retire. I was so out
of the loop on it that I haven't read any
like incredible stories about you know, why he made this decision.
(02:42):
Obviously we know about the degenerative shoulder issue, but he's
only thirty four years old. Think about this, Guys, A
lot of listeners to this pod in their thirties and forties.
Imagine retiring at thirty four years old. Eleven seasons, zero
play off wins, one appearance lost to the Bengals. They
if you guys remember a couple of years ago, they
(03:04):
were inside the ten with a chance to win the
game and they couldn't deliver. I'm sure Rob you can
remember his Raiders were the team that failed in that
Bengals game. I feel like they were close, but but
no dice. And I want to say I had the
Bengals in that one, but a lot of sharps had
the Raiders and they lost. So I was, you know,
doing one of these silly victory laps. Here's the interesting
(03:28):
thing about the Derek Carr situation. He had a one
hundred and fifty million dollar contract. Okay, now the Saints
aren't gonna have to pay him out at least that's everything.
From everything I've read, this is like a win for
the Saints. Obviously he's made some money, you know, a
(03:49):
certain I think it was a ten to twelve million dollars.
We're due at a certain date, so he's gonna get that.
But I feel like this My first thought was, Wow,
that's pretty good for this saintil. My second thought was, Okay,
do you trade o' lave? Do you get off of
the Alvin Kamara contract? Do you just ship them out
and just go full blown tank like, obviously you're not
doing any offseason, give it a shot early. When it
(04:12):
starts to fail, somebody is gonna need a receiver, and
I would just move off of anybody who's kind of good.
Keep my offensive lineman and start to think about the
twenty twenty six draft when, oh, by the way, Arch
Manning should enter. Now, every time I mentioned Art Manning
now everybody's like, wait a minute, he's not gonna come out.
He's never been a starter. Guys, just let's settle down.
(04:35):
It's a year out. Tell me the last stud quarterback
to stay in school who was predicted to be a
one instead of coming to the NFL. I think you've
got to go way back to like Peyton Manning for
a stud. Now. I'm sure there were other really good ones,
but don't give me this. Spencer Rattler. U uh uh.
(04:56):
Spencer Rattler before his I think I think it was
sophomore season, was projected as the number one. Then he
was bad, got bench for Caleb Williams, and you know
he had to transfer to South Carolina. Okay, by the way,
Spencer Ratler competing for the Saints job. But I do
believe arch Mann As of now, I think Archbanny will
come out. Now if he stings up the joint, forget it.
He's not coming out. We got a new guy. But
(05:17):
as of now, if you ask me, Arch Manning is
the guy that the Saints would love to target and
everybody knows you know, the Manning family in their history
of New Orleans. I think this is great. This is
a win for the Saints. They we're not gonna be good.
This is their quarterback room entering the off season. Jake
the Snake caner at a Fresno. He will not be
the starter. Spencer Ratler the aforementioned quarterback from Oklahoma and
(05:42):
South Carolina. He played last year. He was okay for
like eight minutes and then he was bad. And then
Tyler I think it's pronounced Shook, the kid from Louisville,
who is kind of fascinating to think about because he's
twenty five years old. He was just drafted. He played
thin years of college football, was only a starter for
(06:05):
I think one or two seasons, had a bunch of starts,
but couldn't stay healthy. He's an old guy who had
a good year last year with Louisville. I'm not buying that.
So if you have three quarterbacks competing, you have no quarterbacks.
Rob g I know you love mister Derek Carr, your
history with him with the Raiders, So if you want
a wax poetic about his career, he's not going to
(06:27):
the Hall of Fame. You should know that already, but
you know you can do that. But this, overall, this
feels like, I know, this sounds me kind of feels
like a win for the Saints.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Absolutely. I mean in the short term moving forward, at
least for the new Orlean Saints, this is a win
because you knew they were gonna be good either way,
even with Derek Carr. They're gonna be really really bad
without Derek Carr moving forward for next season. So they
had a really terrible cap situation that's gonna free up
some money moving forward. It's gonna allow them even this season,
heading into the trade deadline or even before the season restructure,
(06:58):
some guys or even flat out release guys take the
cap hit now because you know you're gonna suck, take
your medicine for one season, move on and build a
new with Arch Manning or whoever they want in twenty
twenty six. So I totally agree with you on that point.
The one thing that I had a big problem with
over the weekend by a lot of reputable NFL media members,
including someone been on this podcast, is making it out like, oh, well,
(07:23):
Derek Carr's never been a good quarterback anyways, So not
even the financial implication. This is just positive for them
because he's an average, mediocre player and he just kept
cashing checks and cash and check and cash and checks.
Number one, first and foremost as a Raider fan, you know,
and I know, and everyone else knows that before Derek
Carr broke his leg in a meaningless game against Indianapolis Colts,
(07:45):
he was at the time either the favorite or the
second favorite to win NFL MVP. That was the best
team the Raiders had that up until that point. And
they were good. They got out, they were gonna get
a first round by and of course his leg snaps
they end up taking on the Houston Texans backup quarterbacks
gets lit up, and it is what it is. He
was never the same after that point. Mentally and emotionally.
(08:06):
He was skittish in the pocket from that point forward.
He was afraid to get hit. It took him years
to get over the mental hurdle of guys around his feet,
of guys collapsing the pocket on him because he had
like that PTSD from his leg snapping clear in half,
which is exactly what happened. That's number one, So we
never really got to see the full potential of Derek
(08:26):
Carr because he could never really get over that. That's
part of it. The other part of it is, I know,
I'm a Raider fan, and I hate to say it,
but we had a terribly managed team for about a
decade plus and I think we kind of got out
of it a little bit. But there was a long
stretch where every other year we had a new play caller.
Every other year we perched the roster of talent because
they did not know what they were doing in the
front office, and it was terrible. Having said all of that,
(08:50):
if you just look at number I know your numbers, guy.
That's how you make all your money betting and things
of that nature. Derek Carr in his first ten years
of his NFL career, which he only played eleven, you know,
because last season wasn't lost year, we'll call We'll say
the first ten. You know, he had the fifth best
interception percentage of any quarterback in the first ten years.
(09:11):
It goes Rogers, Tarad Taylor, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Derek Carr. Okay,
if you go based on the full eleven season, we'll
even count last year's lost season. Most passing yards by
a quarterback in its first eleven seasons Number one, Matt Ryan,
number two, Pay Manning. Number three is Derek Carr. Okay,
and here's another one for you, just to illustrate, Derek
(09:34):
Carr was much better than you think. All time touchdowns
first ten years of his career. Again, we're taking out
the last season from last year when he was hurt.
Number one, paid number two, Russell Wilson, number three, Dan Marino,
number four, Matt Ryan number five, Brett fav number six,
Pat Mahomes number seven. Derek Carr.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Wait, wait, what stat is that again?
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Most touchdowns in the first ten years of your career.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Wow, So that was gonna be storing too.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Devonte Adams when he was throwing, Amari Cooper when he
was throwing to Jacobe at Myers. Like Derek Carr. I know,
he's a punch line because people don't like to it's broke.
It's broke where they get mad in for throwing, you know,
throwing the ball away in the red zone instead of
gunning it in for a touchdown. I understand that. But
the numbers all say that Derek Carr was a somewhere
(10:19):
around ten to twelve ish quarterback for the duration of
his NFL career, and if his leg didn't snap the
way it did, if he didn't quarterback the Raiders. Quite frankly,
we'd have a different conversation about him and his career.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
I gotta be honest, I did not see that positivity
about Derek Carr coming through from Rob g Listen. The
numbers are a bit surprising, kind of they almost feel
hollow because he never really delivered in the playoffs, and
I'm assuming he was coming from behind a lot because
of crappy defenses. But uh, yeah, I give the man
as due, you know. I don't know is there a
ring of honor with the Raiders or probably not.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
He's not gonna get in, but yes there is one.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah, okay, he might make the Jets. By the way,
let's put this to bed. All these people are out there, well,
we could go get Kirk Cousins or Aaron Rodgers. I
was like, why, like, what are you doing? What's that
gonna accomplish. Why the hell would Aaron Rodgers want to
pick the Saints over retirement, Kirk Cousins. Really, you think
(11:28):
they're trading him in the division to help out the
the Saints.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
That's just in Saturday and they shouldn't want it anyways.
They should bought him out like I you said.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Yeah, the bottoming out is the best strategy. All right,
let's go to the NBA. I'm not going to turn
back the clock to Friday night, even though I thought
Nuggets Thunder was probably the game of the weekend. In
Game three where the Nuggets just dominated overtime and SGA
walks off the court smiling, and I was like, oh, interest,
does he know something I don't? And then comes Sunday
(11:57):
and okay See season on the line. Okase. He goes
into the fourth quarter trailing with SGA on the bench,
and I'm like, oh man, this is huge minutes and
and Okaysee's bench stepped up and they actually were solid.
SGA comes in and a nice win for the Thunder.
They do. I don't know how great Okaysey was. They
(12:18):
did clearly had their best quarter of the game, but
Denver was absolutely gassed. They had nothing left in the tank,
and as such they lose. They fall. Jokich just he's exhausted.
I mean, there's no other way. He is not shooting
the basketball. Well, they shot thirty one percent Westbrook hustling
(12:38):
on d but two of twelve shooting Michael Porter Junior
zero for five from three. Like they just they're start
to higher. You see Jamal Murray. I mean, if you
guys were watching Frida at Jamal Murray is absolutely gassed
because you got to play tough defense and they're attacking
Jamal Murray and then you got to carry him offensively.
And when you have no bench, you can only do
so much of that. By the way, Russell Westbrook twenty
(12:59):
seven minutes Sunday a minus twenty. Yes you heard that,
minus twenty in twenty seven minutes. Say the final score
was ninety two eighty seven and russ was a minus twenty,
So you know that goes to show you. And he
fouled out, by the way, so he's just freaking out.
He's thinking we can close it out. He wasn't very good,
and I will say the bench of the thunder delivered
(13:20):
Caruso had ten wiggins look good. Hey, he had eleven.
Cason Wallace had eleven. It's interesting lou Dort is not
really being a factor in the series. The great defender
who people are like, oh, defensive player. No, he's non factor.
SGA can't make it three to save his life life.
Jay dubb played the game of his playoff career on Friday,
(13:40):
follow that up with a two for thirteen. Chet Holmgren, Listen, man,
I like Chet Holmgren coming out. Okay, last year. I
gave him a bit of a pass because it was
his first playoff series, and I know he's a young guy.
Let me just check because I think he's twenty three
or twenty four. But Chet Holmgren, he's twenty three years old.
Just turned twenty three like ten days ago, so he's
very young. And I'm not trying to crush the guy.
(14:01):
He and yeah, sometimes he's going against the ok but
he just I mean, is there a way for him
to gain twenty pounds and still be a good player.
He is getting worked inside. I'm telling you, Aaron Gordon
is having his way with him on the glass. And Chet,
I know the stat book says he had thirteen boards.
I'm just not seeing it. So I'm at the point where, yes,
Okase's tied up at two two, they've got home court
(14:23):
advantage back. With three games left, they should win the series.
Denver looks exhausted. Let me just see if there's any
extra days. No, there is no extra days. It looks
like between games. So I think Denver's cooked. I don't
think Okaysey's great. That being said, they're probably gonna go
to the finals, right because we'll talk about Minnesota a second.
(14:44):
But Rob, I came away pretty unimpressed with the OKAC thunder,
and I feel like Denver's just absolutely run out of gas.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
I'm only going to agree with part of what you said.
The Denver running out of gas part. I think that's obvious.
I think we can all see that. But unlike you,
I came away very impressed by Oklahoma City for two reasons.
Coming into these playoffs. The concerns were too full for them.
If there were any Number one, it was how would
they respond to such a young team with no playoff success. Well,
(15:15):
you're seeing it right now. They're going against the you know,
a team with championship pedigree, with most of their best
players from that championship team on the roster currently and
that fourth quarter coming in down six and the coming
out to close it the way they did. Denver's not
going to give that game away. OK, So he has
to take it. And so they went toe to toe
(15:35):
with the team with championship medal and they came out
on top. That's number one and number two, and this,
I think is the most important thing. We were concerned,
as you alluded to, about their size. Chet Holmgren, I
think I weigh more than chet Holmegren at this point.
You know, Hartenstein's cool, but he's a rotational.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
By the way, Hartenstein keeps getting this like baseline floater,
just like push shot, and I swear he airballs every
other one of us. I mean, I'm like, where is
this touch? He was good with the Knicks last year.
I have not seen anything from Hartenstein. I know he's
crashed on the boards like a madman, But are you
impressed with this guy?
Speaker 3 (16:08):
I mean, his his spot is that little short roll
inside the free throw line. That's right where he is.
So Denver pushing him off to the baseline is kind
of working out in their favor, as you mentioned. But
as I was saying, the concern was the size, Like
they how are you gonna deal with a guy like Jokic.
Nikola Jokic, as you know, has been putting up video
game numbers for basically three seasons now. This season, in
(16:30):
the regular season, averaged twenty nine point six points a
game on sixty six percent true shooting. In the playoffs,
those numbers are down to twenty four point nine points
a game and fifty four percent true shooting, So down
massive across the board. This is what's most impressive to
me though. In the last three games, Oklahoma City, with
the rail thin ch at Holmgren and a you know,
(16:52):
rotational big in Isaiah Hartenstein, have held the Joker to
thirty three percent shooting, eighteen percent from three keen assists,
sixteen turnovers and a plus minus of minus thirty across
the last three games. Oklahoma City in the regular season
was an absolute wagon, all right. They set the record
(17:13):
for highest points differential by any team of twelve point
eight point seven twelve point eight seven in the regular season.
This postseason, coming into Game four or coming into Game three,
they were within earshot of matching the Golden State Warriors
twenty sixteen to twenty seventeen team in terms of the
greatest point differential in postseason history. What they are doing
(17:37):
is so impressive. They are showing that the youth isn't
as big of a deal as we thought it might be,
that the lack of size on the interior is not
as a big deal as we thought it might be,
and that they are as good as advertised. This team
reminds me so much of last year's Celtics team. Well,
they kept saying, not stylistically, but where we came in saying, yeah,
(17:58):
I know what the numbers say, but until they do it,
until they do it, I can't really buy into it. Well,
you're seeing them do it in front of your eyes,
so so you think it's.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
More the defense versus jokis just being exhausted. So, by
the way, Rob, why is just interim coach having Yokics
bringing the ball up the court? Are you noticing this?
He's bringing the ball up? Why?
Speaker 3 (18:17):
I have an answer for you. Those OKC guards and
wing defenders are incredible between Cruso, Caruso, Wallace, J. Dove
like all those guys. And the only real point guard
on their team is Jamal Murray, so he's already worn
down trying to defend on the other end, asking him
to get it up against ball pressure is just a
real tough ask. And so if he said, hey, Yogis,
can you walk it up, because you know they're not
(18:38):
going to pressure you with with chet, so that might
be their best way to get into their offense.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
So they had a seven game series against the Clip
payper Clips where he averaged forty minutes a game. Now
he was otherworldly, shot forty five percent from three. That
was an empty the tank series, the quick turnaround a
huge comeback, and since that huge comeback in game one
where he was dominant, You're right, he has been pretty
awful shooting the three. He is four of twenty two.
Oh my gosh, ghastly just not He's not the same guy.
(19:06):
His turnovers are way up. I don't necessly think it's
okay see, but you know what, I haven't given him
any any props all seasons, so let's just continue that.
I do think, okay see has that series Pacers Calves.
I turned it off.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
I'll be honest. I turned it off at halftime. Bro,
they were they were about forty or something.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Yeah, that's the kind of listen. I don't want to
be mean here, but that is the kind of gutless
performance where you walk away like bro Donovan Mitchell is
not gonna want to be there much longer, Like how
does that happen? They look so good in Game three
crushing the Pacers, and in hindsight, that looks like the
Pacers just took the night off because they were super confident.
(19:47):
Cleveland played zero defense. I don't I don't even know
how to explain it, really, and I don't want to hear, like, well,
Obi Toppin was having a great game, like stop, you know,
Miles Turner did have a great game, But if you're
the Caves, that is absolutely gutless, Like I would be
embarrassed if I was a Cleveland Cavalier or a fan
or a front office. It was eighty to thirty nine
(20:08):
at the half. I think that's all you need to know.
I personally think this series is over regardless of what
happens in Game five in Cleveland. I just I said
it was a bad matchup from the jump. I do
feel vindicated that I'm right.
Speaker 1 (20:24):

Speaker 2 (20:36):
We will wrap up with the other two series because
they have big games tonight, and that's the Celtics, who
just curb stomped the Knicks. It's funny. Then, tickets to
get into Game three at the Garden on Saturday were absurd.
I think I saw like one thousand dollars for like nosebleeds,
and it was like like six thousand dollars, some insane
(20:58):
number for the Lower Bowl, and everybody paid to watch
the Knicks get their ass kicked. It was seventy one
to forty six and a half never got remotely close. Peyton
Pritchard went off. Celtics hit twenty threes and that's the
kind of game you walk away. Oh, these are the
real Celtics. They finally showed up. I'm so glad now
(21:19):
we can have a series. Carl Anthony Towns came away
with an injury and it was like, ooh, Towns will
play tonight in Game four. But ultimately you cannot feel
great about the Knicks. To me, Rob, this game is
the series. If the Knicks lose, I feel like it's over.
If the Knicks win, I think they have a chance.
(21:39):
I know that doesn't sound fair. As a Knicks fan.
But I'm being realistic. Okay, Tatum five threes, Peyton Pritchard
five three. So, by the way, is Jason Tatum good again?
He had twenty two nine and seven. Is he good again?
Like you lead again? Okay, just make it sure and
the next kind of you know, return to form og Andnobi,
who was a superstar in game two, Game three, just
poops his pans one for six to two points. Come on,
(22:01):
So these are this is what I expected for the
next But I do think tonight's skate this will be
the series.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Rob.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
If the Celtics win, it's over. They're not losing the series.
If the Knicks win, I think they've got a really
good chance because all they need is one out of
three from the Celtics.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Jason, you're so right. You can't turn left right now,
like you're just going circles. You're Boston rewind. For New
York to get those two wins, Boston had to have
a historically bad shooting. I mean, you saw the numbers
you got talk about on the herd, We talked about
on the radio on Fox Sports Radio, like the wide
open percent. Is that forty five percent of their attempts
were wide open and they just missed them. You know,
(22:38):
all their numbers were down across the board in terms
of layups, catch and shoot threes off the dribble, threes,
corner threes, open shots, like, everything was down. So you
knew eventually it was gonna regress back to the mean,
and we saw that in game three. For New York
to even steal those two it had to be terrible.
And you win those games by what two points? Yeah,
(22:58):
Game three, they start making the shots they were gonna
that they were missing in the first two games. And
it's never close, by the way, it's all the Jason
Tatum haters. Future Laker Jason Tatum currently leads Boston again
the entire team in points, rebounds, assistance, steals in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Interesting.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Yeah, just just saying, you know, at some point, we
need to stop trying to litigate this guy's career after
two bad games. He's twenty seven, Like he doesn't have
a history of coming up big in the big moments. Yeah,
so I think Boston's gonna roll in Game four. I'm
hoping that they don't, you know, as a Laker fan,
but yeah, I would like that realistically, I just think
that Boston is a much better team than the Knicks.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Now I have not I did not gamble a cent
all weekend on the NBA. It was just too unpredictable.
It does seem like the favorites, after being shaken a
little bit, are back. I feel like Minnesota Golden State tonight. Rob,
I want to take Minnesota. I don't have a strong
(23:56):
take on it other than I've now seen two games
of Golden State without Steph Curry, and I don't like
what I see at all. They are unwatchable. It's basically
Jimmy but They had thirty nine points at halftime. It's essentially,
hey man, let's get the ball to Jimmy Butler, hope
he can make something happen. And if Buddy Heels locked up,
were screwed. I mean, do you expect Jonathan Comena go
(24:17):
Kamenka to go for thirty again? They have nothing. Draymond
is a hot heead trace Jackson Davis. That experiment failed.
They barely played. Potzemski still cannot shoot. Ye. He's clearly
a regular season guy. He was terrible in last round,
terrible in this round. I think it's over for the Warriors.
Rob I like the Timberwolves to win tonight and win
the series.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
I would agree with you as long as Minnesota can
stop playing what I call irresponsible basketball where they've decided, Hey,
I know Julius has been guarded by Draymond. Julie's just
go at him, and to his credit, he's been reasonably successful.
I'm not, you know, discounting that. What I'm saying is
there's easier matchups for you out there. You don't have
to go at the guy who's guarding Anthony Edwards. You
don't have to go at Gary Payton Junior and Jimmy Butler.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
You know, let's gets action.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Let's get something going where we can get our two
best players on a Pajemski on a Kawong somebody else,
you know, because I think that they are just taking,
you know, the easy approach on everything, and they're kind
of not taking things as seriously as they probably could.
Because when they want to put their pedals to the
medal and they want to get aggressive and they want
to do some things that are making a little more creative,
you see what happens. You know, a two point deficit
becomes a nine point lead in a minute half, Like
(25:22):
they could do that throughout the game, they're just choosing
not to. So if they can come in with the
right focus and the right attitude, I think they're gonna
roll here. In game four.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
It also feels like Kurr's grasping its straws. In game two,
he starts, Quentin Post plays three minutes. Done. Game three,
let's start trace Jackson Davis. Hey, what happened to Moses Moody?
He played three minutes. Moses Moody was like a valuable
piece with Curry. Now he's unplayable. Comingo was like bench.
Then he played thirty six minutes and goes off and scores.
I don't know what Curr's doing, and again you lose Curry.
(25:51):
It's gonna be tough, so I can't blast him. But
I do like the Timberleves. I haven't bet it yet,
but I'm looking at the Timberwolves to win. I guess
I could money line them with Celtics actual money because
Minnesota covering. I don't know about that. Anthony Edwards still
hasn't found his groove. But Julius Randall, Laker killer, Julius
Randall a triple double, and I'll go with the Timberwolves tonight.
(26:11):
All right, folks, that is it for today's pod. We
will be back tomorrow. There should be some news on
this podcast here in the coming week or two. Obviously,
if you listen to the very end you have an
idea what I might be talking about. We'll save that
for later in the week.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Talk to you tomorrow.
