I'm chugging it, folks. I mean, I still don't know
what to make of that game. I'm looking at the box.

I'm seeing eight total turnovers, five from Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Oh, Jalen Hurts had a rough one. He had a
rough game, no denying it.

Today is the day where everybody's gonna rip the hell
out of Jalen Hurts.

He couldn't be a top five quarterback. What do you

As the big fella's running it back, the Eagles strip him,
Hurts recovers, then Hurts gets fumbles, gets hitting fumbles, and
it's like, oh my gosh, Hurts come on Dog. Not
his best game. Eagles oero for two in the red
zone and the last interception in overtime, needing a field

goal to tie in further the game or a touchdown wins.

It hurts.

It was first down. That's what really hurts. It's like,
it's first down. Why are you forcing that now? It
was a great play by the cornerback. Let me get
his name, Cam cam Hart. Unbelievable play. He was closer
to Hurts, he was on. Goddart sees that Hurts is
gonna throw it to Dotson. Dotson of all people come on,

and Cam comes off, gets up just a hand on it,
and it goes into Jefferson's arms for a pick at
like the one or two yard line. Just just a
brutal defeat for the Eagles who are officially reeling guys.
I liked him. I thought they could stat the two
game losing streak. I thought they were the better side here.
You know, out gained the Chargers by ninety yards. Five

point five yards were played a three point nine justin.
Herbert was under duress like maybe never before, sacked seven times.
I mean every time Herbert dropped back to throw, it
was like holy hell, they're in his grill. He was
just under all game long. The Eagles turnovers are what
killed him. Now, obviously not all the interceptions drew on Hurts.

AJ Brown got hit in the hands. It was a
high ball, but you got a cat set, you know.
AJ Brown obviously took his eyes off. It had the
kind of alligator armed it because he saw he was
gonna get clobbered by the linebacker and it gets picked off.
AJ Brown. Also, that was in the fourth quarter. AJ
Brown also dropped the touchdown pass. It wasn't like a
total drop, had it in his hands as coming down
and the defensive player kind of hits Brown's arm. I

mean that that hurts. That's a touchdown for Brown, you know.
So it was a tough one for the Eagle stomach.
They are now officially owen one with the positivity Rabbit
in the locker room. I think that's one of the
dumbest things I've seen, the positivity Rabbit. Give me a
break this obviously, today is gonna be all about Jalen Hurts.
It's an indicte that I've hurts. He see he's not good.

Just I'll remind you guys, twelve games he had two interceptions. Yes,
this one was heightened. It was against the Chargers, it
was Monday night football. It was an island game, so
you're watching every throw and Hurts did not look particularly sharp.
I saw this interesting stat. All four of Hurtz's interceptions

came out of the shotgun under center. The offense was
hyper efficient ten point two yards per play. Now that's
where the Barkley touchdown run did come out of. They
did kind of the fake tush push and then pitch
to Barkley. But they probably have to abandon the shotgun
next game. That next game is against the Raiders. They're
going to be fine. They have two more against Washington.

After watching jayde and Daniels get hurt against the Vikings,
I'm of the assumption that they're gonna shut Daniels down
for the season. I mean, you just saw the Eagles
sack Justin Herbert seven times. He was running for his
life and looked like he got hurt on a scramble.
His arm hit the ground hard.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
You want to put Jadan Daniels in that line of fire.
I just think that's.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Quarterback malpractice with a franchise guy, and you suffer a
big injury. This late in the season, you're probably missing
the start of next season, and then some Daniel Jones,
which you'll talk about later. With the achilles, I mean,
he's not gonna be back anytime soon. He's probably out
until I don't know, want Thanksgiving next year. Like I just,
(04:37):
I don't think it makes sense for them to trot
Jayden and Daniels out. So my read is Eagles final
four games, they should win three, they should go three
and one. I know Dallas fans are holding that hope,
Hey we got a shot, we got a shot, and mathematically, yeah,
of course you do, but they don't realistically have a chance.
The Dallas schedule is more difficult. Eagles will be favored

by double digits against the Raiders, double digits against Mariota,
close to double digits at Mariota, and then at the
Buffalo game, they'll.

Probably be dogs.

But okay, even if they lose that to go three
and one, that's still eleven and six. Dallas would then
need to get to eleven wins Minnesota. They'll probably win
that game, but I'm not gonna say it's a lock.
I haven't actually looked. Let me see if I can
take a quick peek at the line. It is Sunday
night football.

Again, I'm higher on JJ McCarthy than most people are. Yeah,
Cowboys favored by about six, six and a half. Then
a big win against the Charges that is also at
Jerry World at Washington at Giants, So yeah, the.

Cowboys probably could sweep that.

But we are talking about a Dallas team that lost
to Arizona and Carol this season.

So I don't think any of those are locks.

I think the Eagles are gonna win the division and
the Cowboys are gonna be left out of the playoffs.
Now where it gets interesting is what do you do
with the Chargers? They had to have this. I thought, briefly, okay,
maybe there's a tie and it's possible that that helps
them against the Chiefs, But.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
I don't know.

It just feels like Kansas City is going to probably
win out here. And again, I know everybody's been saying
that for a while, but I look at the schedule
and I see, Man, I don't like the vibes around
the Chiefs. But I'm gonna remind you guys. So they
lost four or five who's they lost to Buffalo? Top
five Super Bowl contender Denver, Top five super Bowl contender Dallas.

Tough one on Thanksgiving Houston. I mean, they're only the
seven seed, but they're looking dangerous as hell. And the
rest of the way the Chiefs have basically their season
comes down to this game at home against the Chargers.
Now the Chargers have really this sucks for them. Monday
night football, right overtime game, and then they got to

fly to Kse to face a very angry group of
Chiefs and Arrowhead. Now the Chiefs did get more bad news.
Wanya Morris, the left tackle was hurt on the opening play,
season ending knee injury. So as of now they will
be down both of the two left tackles. We'll see

about Trey Smith and a right tackle not ideal. Khalil
Mack could could have a big game. I trust Minter
to cook up some interesting stuff. Chargers Chiefs has always
been closed. This game will have extra incentive obviously with
Chiefs cannot the Chiefs have to win out and get help.
So this is a kitchen sink game from a Homes
and Company. We'll see it's.

An early kick too. That's just a tough spot.

For the Chargers. But then the Chiefs have they at
Tennessee game versus Denver, that's a big one, and at
the at the Raiders. So two home games to road
games against bottom four teams in the league. Chiefs are
sitting pretty They're not dead. The NFC AFS, I'm sorry,
the AFC West is done for the Chiefs. They're not

pulling that off. But there is a world where they
still get to the to the playoffs as a wild card.
And then of course, you know, everybody's oh, the Chiefs
are the team they got value, you know, And I'm
just so sick of this crap. That's why I wanted
to end it would be awesome if the Chargers did that.
Is it gonna be really really tough for them to
come back after this and pull it off. All right,

Let's let's go back to the Eagles real quick. I
do believe the Eagles are gonna be okay, and I
I'm probably acting like a cheese fan who's like, yeah,
we're gonna be fine.

We got Mahomes and reed.

Well, you look at the Eagles and they're like, why
is this offense sputtering A J. Brown, Davonte Dallas, Gotter,
Saquon Barkley easily top ten at their positions this season. Now,
I know Saquon's not had the best season, Guys, Saquon
Barkley is still a top ten back in the NFL. Like,

let's let's not go overboard. This season he struggled, but
less than a year ago he was chasing two thousand yards. Okay,
Dallas Godder doesn't have the speed, but man, he is reliable.

I don't want to say hurts is the problem, but
you watch like DeVonta Smith slips on one interception, but
the throw was behind him. It wasn't great. The aj
Brown interception, I that's on Brown. Guys, he's got to
catch that went right.

Then there was the tipped one near the goal line
that that just devastating. That was a bit of a force.
Hertz is gonna bear the brunt of the blame. And
I totally get that. We throw four interceptions, Yeah, that's
gonna freaking happen. And he was, of course the first
player with two turnovers on one play, first time since
nineteen seventy eight that that's happened in the NFL. It's

a dubious, dubious honor, mister, mister Hurts, Can we say
they miss Kellen Moore? Is that okay to say? Like again,
Kellen Moore's not lighting the world on fire in New Orleans,
but he's got a rookie quarterback. He's got I guess
a second or third string running back in this kid

kneel he's got. I guess he's got Olave Juwan. Johnson's
not very good. Offensive line is mediocre like that. He
doesn't have much there. But in Philly he had a
war chest and they opened it seemingly every week. This
offense was absolute fire. And now they can't do a

uh uh, just such a rapit you get like whiplash
from this is not the team I saw in the
Super Bowl last year, but almost all the pieces are
the same. Now obviously can say, well, no Lane Johnson,
you know this is what happens when they don't have
Lane Johnson.

I mean, I haven't seen the pressure. I don't think
the pressure rate numbers are out yet. But it's not
like Hurts he got sacked once. It's not like the
offensive line appeared to be the problem.

Kind of on Hurts guys, and uh, he's gonna get
destroyed in Philadelphia and they'll bounce back and beat the
Raiders if they somehow lose that. Then I started thinking,
what like Sirianni watch and stuff like that. I honestly,
after the third pick, I was like, do you think
they would bench? This is me talking to myself because
that's what I do during games. Do you think they're

gonna bench Hurts like tannor McKee.

No, they're not gonna betch Hurts.

Probably, no way, come on, can't bet chaling Hurts. But
I guarantee you there were some Philly meatballs. I bet
you there were some of them saying, come on, we
gotta get him out of here. Get him out of here. Listen,
you're gonna make the playoffs. It's not problem. But the
vibes just and I don't want to be a guy

who's rolling on vibes, but the vibes just are not
great right now around this Eagles team.

I don't have any easy solutions. I mean, listened, it
could be it could be worse. You could be the
Colts who talk about shortly. But for a team that
just won the Super Bowl.

a calf injury. Doesn't look like he's coming back this week.

Then they start struggling outdoors. Then Daniel Jones gets a
break in his leg and now he's got the achilles.
So then they're like, oh, Riley Leonard, he looked passable.
I mean he wasn't awful. He wasn't he wasn't like
the Jets rookie what's his face? Brady cooked the kid
from Missouri like Riley Leonard was. He actually had a
touchdown throw. It was called back due to OPI on.

So someone posted a photo of his wife, like really
smiling and happy and The caption was knowing Philip Rivers

Have to have a kid this year. I mean, it
was just like it's a little overboard.

But then Albert Briers, like, listen, Philip Rivers has a
kid who's like a top recruit in the country. You
don't think he's gonna want to like coaches kiddier in
the playoffs. I don't understand high school playoffs wherever Philip
Rivers lives, but like, this is getting out of control.
They're up a guy who's been out of the league
for five years. He's forty four years old. Listen, man,

I like Philip Rivers a lot. I remember when the
Colts grabbed him for that final year and he went
to Buffalo and covered in the playoffs. This is what
I remember to covers now I had them obviously it
was a close cover. But Philip Rivers is in route
to Indy. I guess he was yesterday. He's going to
try out for the Colts today. Now, the last time

we saw a guy who was on his couch come
out to try to play football, it was ragged. Now
with the Lions, a couple of weeks ago, and you know,
this guy's a center, big tough guy, and ragnow goes
to the medical and he's got like a torn hamstring.
They're like, dude, you're not playing football. The idea that
Rivers is going to come in and give it a
shot is just comical. I mean, I can't even find

any names out there to speculate us. Who the hell
it could be? Like if you don't let's say you
don't get Philip Rivers, what are you doing? I can't
find Anthony Richardson, I guess is on the IR. How
about this Anthony Richardson's on the IR. So when he
didn't get the starting job, you know, he was a
little upset. He tried to get traded his or not him,

but his agent was like, yeah, can we move him?
You know, and obviously that did not happen. But then
he was like working out with those bands before a
game and the band snapped back hit him in the
face and it broke his eye socket. And he's been
out for Uh, he's not going to be activated this week.

He's been out for like, I don't know, like seven weeks. Yeah,
this happened in like early October maybe it's over two months.
How snake bitten is this franchise? So they go from
seven to one to now eight and five, they are
on the outside looking in. This schedule is not favorable.
Let's just go ahead give him a loss. Okay, let's

just assume that they can't go find Josh Dobbs who
can come in and shock the Seahawks and their incredible defense. Okay,
let's just that's not happening. So they lose that they
fall to eight and six. Do we think they're hosting
the Niners with a better quarter? Like, what are your
other options? Maybe Riley Leonard's healthy then and he could
he could run wild. But you gotta face Seahawks Niners.

Those are two premium teams in the NFC. Then you
get to host the Jaguars in a rematch they're beatable,
and then your rookie quarterback or I don't know, Rivers
or someone else.

the Texans. You think Philip Rivers wants to face the

enjoying this. And that's only because the Jets own their

on the Falcons pick, which would be nine. Now, this

But this Jets pick. Let's just let's say the Colts.

Go one and three the rest of the way and
finish nine and eight. That's still that's not making the playoffs.

You know, the Ravens aren't given up Chiefs. The Chiefs
have a favorable schedule Dallas. The Jets could have, folks,
like the seventh and the thirteenth pick in the draft,
or the sixth and the fourteenth, and that's when we

start talking, well, do you trade up for Mendos. I'm
on board with not trading up for a quarterback. I
think we can look at the history of guys who
quarterbacks who are traded up for. It's just so high risk.
It doesn't seem worth it. You know, the price to
pay is expensive. Let me know how the Bryce Young
spearment's working out in Carolina. By the way, I like

Bryce Young and the Panthers this week. And then you've
got remember the RG three. They paid a princely sum
to go up and get him, and he looked great
until he got hurt, and then it had them in
dire straits.

and he just looks like a regular guy.

Can you imagine playing an entire game with someone and
having no idea that he played in the NFL.

be remembered for in the short term. He was part
of a trade that essentially gave up an unprotected one,

He's having a great rookie year, first rookie with a
triple double and forever blah blah blah, Like damn okay,
Derek Queen's the man. But last night during the NFL game,

you know, you have social media open, and all I
keep seeing is Derek Queen highlights. I know what he
looks like now. I mean, you saw him in the tournament,
but like I didn't commit it to memory. He wasn't
like a top five guy. And now I know what
Derek Queen. If he delivers a pizza in my house,
I know, oh Derek Queen. There he is.

But here's the interesting part. I look at the record.
The Pelicans are three and twenty two. They are terrible.
They are probably gonna be a fat, bottom four or
five team in the league all season.

Pelicans fans are like, the future is safe. Guys.

We got Trey Murphy, Derek Queen, and Jeremiah Fears, the
young point guard out of Oklahoma who's either eighteen or nineteen,
and he's awesome. They're not gonna win any games, but
the hype and the excitement for a three win Pelicans
team just struck me as odd. And I know these guys.

hyper efficient ten point two yards per play. Now that's

So he's also gonna be best.

Well, maybe he has a great career, but he's gonna
be remembered for in the short term. He was part
of a trade that essentially gave up an unprotected one,
which you don't do in the NBA. Right, That's how
bad they wanted Derek Queen. But he went off last night.
He's having a great rookie year, first rookie with a
triple double and forever blah blah blah, Like damn okay,
Derek Queen's the man. But last night during the NFL game,

you know, you have social media open, and all I
keep seeing is Derek Queen highlights. I know what he
looks like now. I mean, you saw him in the tournament,
but like I didn't commit it to memory. He wasn't
like a top five guy. And now I know what
Derek Queen. If he delivers a pizza in my house,
I know, oh Derek Queen. There he is.
Speaker 1 (23:33):

But here's the interesting part. I look at the record.
The Pelicans are three and twenty two. They are terrible.
They are probably gonna be a fat, bottom four or
five team in the league all season.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
I don't care what Derek Queen does. And all these
Pelicans fans are like, the future is safe. Guys.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
We got Trey Murphy, Derek Queen, and Jeremiah Fears, the
young point guard out of Oklahoma who's either eighteen or nineteen,
and he's awesome. They're not gonna win any games, but
the hype and the excitement for a three win Pelicans
team just struck me as odd. And I know these guys.
I mean, I know Jeremiah fear Man. His game's nice,
and I see all this stuff on IG all the time.

And then I remember seeing the Gucci Denucci video. I'm like, yeah,
I did not know Ben could sling it like that.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
But he's in the NFL. It's a quarterback.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
And I bring up the NBA because it's specifically the Pelicans.
I am of the belief that we will see Zion
dealt at the deadline.
Speaker 2 (24:31):

I don't think his market's huge, but I can assure
you this, the sooner they cut ties to Zion and
move on, and that care eraic can end and you
can stop with the what might have been or what
could be. And you know Zion will probably come out
one night drop forty, and then the next night it's like,
you know, he's not really with it, not locked in,

and then the next night he gets hurt. It's just
always something with this guy.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Sometimes you just.

Got to get out of the business of this problem
and I think they move on from Zion at the
at the deadline, and they're probably gonna have to attach
something to it, you know, because his market ain't great,
Like who's absorbing that contract? Right, So you're gonna have
to either attach a pick, you know, I don't know
how many they have, or a player ose Alvarado. Herb

Jones is probably their best chess piece, but do you
want to put like, I'm sorry, you're not getting Yiannis
for Herb Jones Zion and whatever else. I don't know,
but I feel like the Zion air is over because
forever it was like, oh, when Zion comes back, when
Zion is healthy. They've just moved on, right.

It's Tray Murphy, who they're not.

Gonna move off of, Queen who they love, the rookie
and Jeremiah Fears and then from there you build around
with role players and all that fun stuff. But I
just saw that Pelican stuff. It was all over social media.
Now there was only three games last night, and you know,
Minnesota Timberwolves lose to the very frisky Phoenix Suns. Those
guys they are a frisky bunchet beat up on the

Lakers recently, and you know, I'm always checking the scores.

I'm not really betting a ton of NBA yet.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Once the NFL winds down in the playoffs, then I'll
dive into NBA because it's just tough to do it
all at the same time. But yeah, anyways, all right, well,
good luck to Jalen Hurts today and hopefully they won't
egg his house the way they went after the OC's
