On today’s episode, Jason discusses why Shedeur Sanders should be kicking himself today for not allowing the Baltimore Ravens to draft him now that Lamar Jackson is nursing a hamstring injury, whether the banged-up Ravens should still be considered one of the best teams in the NFL, why it feels like LeBron James’ moodiness could become a big problem for Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers heading into the start of training camp, and whether we should take Napheesa Collier’s comments about the WNBA commissioner at face value.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is straight Fire with Jason McIntyre.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
What is up Straight Fire? It's me Jason McIntyre, straight
player for Yeah. Sit is October Wednesday, October first. Unbelievable.
We are in the month of October, spooky things happening.
We got the MLB playoffs, You've got the w NBA

(00:33):
kind of sort of imploating. I mean, I don't know
how much we'll do on that, but Jeezy's comments unbelievable stuff.
Obviously NBA Media Day, you guys are very interested in
the Yannis story, Lebron making some cryptic remarks. Dave mcmanavan
says something like, there's just too much news to handle.

(00:53):
So we've got Rob g back from the IR He
was down bad with a sickness. He's back, and I
have it's a good topic. A producer at The Herd
and I have been talking for a while, you know,
obviously we worked together a lot. And it's funny the
news yesterday that Lamar Jackson likely to miss two to

(01:15):
three weeks. I mean, it's not a huge surprise, right
the Texans rams and then the bye so it's like,
you know, you don't want to burn him this week
if he's not one hundred percent. Then the hammy gets torn,
he's out eight weeks whatever. You don't need that. Then
it's the Rams in their pass rush probably not smart.
Then you get to buy so let's just give him
three weeks off hamstring. Will heal right? Their backup is

(01:35):
Cooper Rush, but their backup could be shed Door Sanders.
Remember it just came out weeks ago that the Baltimore
Ravens were set the draft should Doer Sanders and whether
it was Dion or shed Doer's camp, probably a little
bit of both. They decided, we don't want to go

(01:56):
sit behind Lamar Jackson, who's in his prime, he's probably
seven to eight more years. We don't want to do that.
We want to have a chance to play. We don't
want to go to Baltimore. They turned their nose up
at one of the best organizations in the league and said,
we'll go to Cleveland, which is a dumpster fire. Side note,
Cleveland sounds like they are going to be benching Joe Flacco,

(02:17):
who was really really bad, just not good at all,
And it sounds like again sounds like they're going to
turn to Dylan Gabriel, the rookie out of Oregon, and
it appears as if he will get to start now
nothing that they're not really commenting on it. It is
a tough spot across the pond, the Vikings, and they're

(02:41):
kind of pass Rush with you know, Brian Flores loves
to blitz. That could give Dylan Gabriel some problems, but
ultimately it ain't gonna be shod Arth Sanders starting for
the Browns, and he could be starting ahead of Cooper
Rush if he had gone to Baltimore. And this just
compounds what a disastrous decision. Uh, Shdeorg Sanders listening to

(03:04):
his father, I mean his whole the whole process. Deon
screwed him. Oh, we aren't even want to work out
uh for the bad teams. We're going to a good team. Really,
I mean, he's been he just it was just such
so poorly played by Dion. Just imagine that now. I
don't know if she would beat out Cooper Rush, but guys,
the last time Cooper Rush was decent was like three

(03:25):
or four years ago. And then of course, coming off
of Cooper Rush, I think he went four and one.
I'm pretty sure Rob can check me on that might
have been three in one. I said, Cooper Rush makes
a lot of sense. I would rather have him as
a starter than Dak because you gotta have to pay
Dak sixty billion dollars, and obviously that looks bad as
DAK has been amazing. Now, Dak was hurt last year

(03:45):
and DAK has looked amazing, but they're not winning anything.
So now you're paying quarterback top of the line and
you're not You're not good to the playoffs. So I
don't know. It's just one of those weird stories where listen,
man Joe Burrows down justin fields briefly went down. You've
got Jake Browning starting who's unwatchable. You have Carson Wentz starting,

(04:06):
who looked okay in the first game and was terrible
against Pittsburgh. Just backups all around the league. I'll tell
you this, if Shadour were starting against the Houston Texans,
that's Musty TV. That's game of the week. Cooper Rush,
I don't need to see that. I'll probably bet that
the Texans money line here in a short order. But
I don't know. Rob schadure Man again, I'm rooting for

(04:27):
the guy. But Gez, what a bad decision to not
go to Baltimore. Because Lamar Jackson was there.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah, I mean it was baffling at the time. It's
even more baffling now. But we got to give credit
to where credits to do, you don't, says one Martin Weiss.
Friends of the show know Martin Weiss. He hosts on
FOXFORDAD on the weekend. He've host during the week Fox
Sports Radio. We've heard Colin mention his name, you know,
on the air couple of tyes, so people know Martin
Wie's So credits to Martin for coming up with this topic.
I'll send him a text and I'll maybe even like

(04:54):
five bucks for doing my job for me.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Uh. I will say this though, about the whole sh thing,
because yes, in this scenario, you know, it would have
been much better and regardless if he plays or not,
to be in Baltimore than Cleveland, because at least Baltimore
is a sound organization there.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
They know what they're doing. They an't developed.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Players in a way that Cleveland just has shown that
they cannot. My question to you, though, as a rebuttal,
is are we sure that he would have been starting
in Baltimore because Cooper Rush, you know, for all of
his faults. You mentioned four and one that year, in
twenty twenty two and twenty twenty four. Last season it
was four and four as a starter, sixty percent completion rating,

(05:34):
wasn't thrown for a lot of yards. Will say, there's
like one hundred and fifty a game. But he had
a touchdown interception ratio twelve to five in his career.
Touchdown interception ratio is two to one.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Like he is.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Solid solid, But that's a good word solid. Here's Mike
counter is that Shadedure is much more nimble and mobile
in the pocket. Cooper Rush more of a Flacco type.
So I is Baltimore gonna have to totally change the
offense to suit Cooper Rush rop? I mean I think
a lot. I don't know that Shadoor is like mister
Rpo like Lamar, obviously nobody is, but I think he

(06:10):
could run more similar stuff to Lamar than Cooper Rush.
Would you agree with that?

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I mean maybe the problem with Lamar are such a
unique player. I mean, good luck finding anybody who could
do anything similar to what they do with him. But
the thing with which Shadoor is and we talked about
this on the radio show last Friday, before the weekend
because you saw Chadour TALLEESPN Cleveland that he thought that
he could play better than a lot of the qb

(06:36):
ones currently going in the NFL, that he was ready
for his opportunity, and when he watches them the exact quote, wash,
if you see the quarterback play in the league right now,
I know I'm capable of doing better than that. Now
here's the problem with that analysis coming from Shaduur saders.
Number One, he's not even getting full time scout team
reps in Cleveland. He's splitting those last week check with
Bailey Zappi, a process that even the Brown's quarterback coach

(07:02):
had to concede as unusual. That most teams, whoever their
third string guy, runs the scout team point blank period.
The Browns have decided, well, let's make sure all the
guys get scout team real, Let's get Shaduur some, Let's
get Bailey Zappi some maybe sprinkling Dylan Gabriel now and
then used to keep him warm, you know, like, but
that's not that's not commonplace.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
That's number one.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Number Two, if we take shador have face value where
he says I could do better, then a lot of
current NFL quarterbacks if you just look across the league
through the first three weeks.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
This is not counting.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Week four is still being updated because you know, we
had games last night. You know who the lowest rated
passer in the NFL was after the first three weeks
of the season, Aaron Rodgers, no club.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
It was Joe Flacco.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Oh wow, Okay, Now Joe Flacco is notable because he
is currently two runs above Shador Sanders in the Browns
pecking order.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
So are we? So you're saying that you're better than him?
Is that what it is?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
So you're better than him, and you're better than his backup,
but for some reason, your third string and last but
not lee. The last time we saw shaduor Sanders play
in an NFL game, his average time to throw was
over five seconds. He was pressured at nine to eleven dropbacks,
and only four of those pressures came within the first
two and a half seconds, which means he was doing
all the stuff that we get knocked about in college.

(08:16):
He's holding the ball, he's padding the ball, he's not
seeing the field, he's not anticipating anything. He has to
see it wide open before he lets it go. So
I ask you again, even though we agree that Baltimore
is a better situation than Cleveland, and even though we
agree that long term it's probably better for him to
go to a franchise that knows what they're doing with quarterbacks,

(08:37):
that knows how to develop players, are we certain that
in this same scenario where Lamar Jackson misses two to
three weeks, that Shadure Sanders is starting I'm not shown
to be an NFL quarterback yet, certainly fair.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Cooper Rush probably is the safe bet. Now, Cooper Rush
also could get murdered by the Houston Texans pass rush
with I mean, they got some beasts on that defensive
line in the secondary, I think they'll tee off. I
think Baltimore's in legit trouble because Rob, if they lose
to Houston at home, then they're one and four, and
then they got the Rams also at home, and you

(09:28):
don't have Lamar, and it sounds like Humphrey's out multiple weeks,
and it sounds like Roquan Smith is out multiple weeks,
so now you have no defense. You have no defense
to begin with, and now what's up with Ronnie Stanley? Like,
I just think Baltimore's really wounded. And it's crazy because
all these sharp gamblers, all these power ratings guys had
Baltimore above Buffalo coming into the season, and rob midway

(09:52):
through the or early fourth quarter of the season opener,
when they're up forty to twenty five, it looked like
Baltimore's a juggernaut. Re Derreck Henry had like what one
fifty and Lamar was going How quickly things change in
the NFL. It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
And I actually spoke to an odds maker in Vegas
before I got knocked down there over the weekend, and
this was before the Baltimore Kansas City game, and that
person told me on a neutral site that Baltimore would
still be favored over like ninety five percent of the
league even though they were one and two, even though
they hadn't been able to stop a nosebleed, because the

(10:28):
odds makers still believe in Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, John
Harbaugh on that team. Now, obviously Lamar being heard change
at the calculus a little bit. And I'm sure after
what we saw on Sunday where they just got bludgeoned
by a average Kansas City offense, Like, I don't know
if they still feel that way, but I'm willing to
bet that people even as they're down and as they

(10:49):
look you mentioned wounded and weary on the Monday Pod,
I think people would still bank on the Ravens getting
things straight here. They was still bank on them in
the second half of the season as being well, this
is the team you don't want to play. This is
similar to Burrows Bengals last year where they come in
right and high winn four of their last six or
something like that. And obviously the salt the hinges on

(11:12):
Lamar's hamstring. But yeah, it is a weird.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
NFL and I should point out you guys, we talk
about the look ahead the lines rob before Week four
was played, before Lamar was hurt and Humphrey and woke on,
the Ravens were nine and a half point favorites at
home against the Texans and a half that dropped to
three and a half with the questions about Lamar and
the other injuries. And my guess is if it is
Cooper Rush, you know, Houston probably is like a one

(11:39):
or two point dog. Yeah, you're right the oddsman, because
they love Lamar and the Ravens. I just I just
don't see a defense at all.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Well, quick, quickly, before we move on in that game,
Houston and the Ravens, Houston, outside of last week where
they needed all kinds of things to go go their way,
could not score.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
For the last year.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
They were up six nothing at half time. Again, for
the last year have not been able to score. Will
they be able to score against this banged up, depleted
and decrepit Ravens defense.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah. And someone made a smart point to me was like, listen, man,
I know some of these teams look awful. Well, guess
what nobody plays in the preseason. So essentially, remember how
Belichick used to say September was like our preseason. The
first month we just tinker. What if that's the case
and you're seeing all these teams, Hey man, we're just
messing around. We're moving guys into right places. It's a

(12:28):
long season, and Houston's figuring things out. I mean they listen,
Jeffrey Simmons nearly killed Stroud with what I think the
quickest sack of the year on Sunday and the Texas.
They're not a perfect team or even close. I mean,
I think they're bad. I think they'll probably miss the
playoffs because the Jags and Cults are better. But when
you're not facing lamar Ja Backson, I would not be

(12:49):
shocked if the Texans slowly look good. Now the look
aheadlines are interesting, Rob, So the Giants were minus two
at the Saints. Saints are now favored, right, Dolphins were
minus one. Tyreek's now done for the season. Some places
are pick them versus Carolina. Favorite Seattle was minus one
and a half. They're up to minus three, Cardinals minus

(13:12):
eight out to minus nine and a half, ten Lions
minus seven and a half. That's down ten Lions at Bengals.
This is a crazy week, Rob, for spreads. You've got
I'm counting. Let's see Colts, Cardinals, Lions, Bills. It looks
like four games will be a touchdown or more in

(13:32):
what should be a chaotic Week five. By the way, Rob,
I had my worst fantasy week for me and my son.
We lost three games, one by two, one by one,
and one by like point five to six. Jesus I mean,
I was just like despondent for a little while on Tuesday. Anyway,
how's your fantasy league?

Speaker 4 (13:50):
I mean a few leagues, my big money league. I'm
one and three, so that's terrible.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
My league at Fox Sports Radio three and one, riding high,
second highest scoring team the league, and this year did
a guillotine league for the first time, so that's kind
of tricky. Malik Neighbors being out for the year really
hurts because I was already in the bottom third. So
I'm gonna need to play this waiver wire real hard
to try to get back on track to stay alive
another week.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
All Right, I don't is there any other NFL you
want or do you want to go NBA? Because there's
a couple of NBA things, and I know you love
the NBA.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
I know we love hoops. Let's get to it. Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
So jj Redick spoke to the media yesterday. How about this,
Lebron is dealing with wait for nerve, irritation in his
glute and he was in street clothes, so he's got
a butt itch. I don't know, Reddick. That said, the
goal is for Lebron to be available on opening night. Okay,

(14:45):
So you have that, and then there is the McManaman.
You know, he's been on the pod. Nice guy. Lebron's
camp has spoken to the Lakers and they've said, let's
be overly cautious with Lebron. Well, this has the potential
Rob to go sideways for the Lakers. Lebron, listen, you

(15:06):
guys don't see me in the long term. Cards. I
want to keep playing. I'm not gonna I don't want
to get used thirty five minutes a night. Start fire
up the load management. Listen, man, I'm torn. Rob. You
don't want to lose Lebron, but at the same time,
you want to keep that cap flexibility. What do you
do if you're the Lakers? Like that's this is not

(15:27):
healthy for Luca.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Yeah, this is uh, it's uneq.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
It's not quite Russell Westbrook that last season uncomfortable where
everybody knew he was going to get traded, and so
it was just what do they say? What was the
reporting that it was like a vampire was sucking the
blood out of the locker room kind of thing. I'm
not going to go that far. But Lebron is a
domineering presence, and when he's not happy, everybody knows about it.
So even though on media Day he gave the illusion

(15:56):
that he's happy to be here, he's posing for with
the photos with Luca and talks about how he's feeling
him reinvigorated to play one more season at least with
the Lakers, and you know, we'll see what happens from there.
He's not ready to commit beyond that because he might retire.
But it's well documented over the summer that Lebron's not happy.
He's not happy with the Lakers front office, not happy
with his contract situation. He's not happy that they're bending

(16:19):
the need to another guy instead of him, because he's
used to being the king and everybody bows down to
the King, and now they're bound down to Luca, and
he can make this really awkward if he wanted to.
And my hope is that because Luca claims to be
his guy, because JJ is his guy, that they're going

(16:40):
to find a way to navigate this here during training camp,
during preseason, so that Lebron is out there opening night
and he's at least gives the illusion that he's happy
through Christmas. But if they don't start off fast, it's
going to get real awkward real soon.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Just doesn't feel right the way that everybody's talking with
the around Lebron tiptoeing, by the way. So Luca moved
into the area where I live, and again we are
renting donut. We're not ballers. I know Rob likes to
make jokes, but everybody knows the house he bought because
it was owned by a famous person before him, and

(17:16):
so I've driven by it a bunch. It's less than
maybe it's a quarter mile from my easy bike ride, right.
So the other day he was just like walking around, like,
who's gonna miss a six foot eight guy who's white
and by the way, he is skinny now and my
my buddy was with his young son and all these

(17:39):
kids on e bikes were like, oh, Luca, can I
get a picture? And Luca's like taking selfies. He showed
me the video and the best part was at the end.
You know, at this at this point he's starting to
get annoyed. This grandma's like, can you please take a
photo of my son? He's like sure, you know, and
my daughter's like, dude, he did not want to take
that picture. But the definite no. He was wearing a
sleeveless shirt. Rob Luca is officially skinny. That undeniable. Now,

(18:01):
I we could get into an Ozenpek topic, because I'm
sure you saw Zion lost a lot of weight, and
someone was trying to tell me, like, there's no way
Zion's doing ozempek because that's like not healthy for your muscles,
and I'm like, I don't know. Zion looks skinnier than
he's ever looked. You could go look at his high
school videos when he was dunking on those small white
kids in South Carolina. He was heavy at duke, he

(18:25):
was beefy, and in New Orleans he's had one or
two bignets. Okay, he is thin now, maybe he stumbled
into some good lighting in that photo shoot that they
did with the Pelicans and put pictures out. You're like,
he's he's down forty pounds, you know, Luca undeniably, There's
no question about it. He is thin, and I don't
think he's on any weight lost things. I think he

(18:46):
just got embarrassed by the way the mass kicked him
to the curb and talked trash about him. I'm so
excited for Luca this season. Oh my gosh, revenge season.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Baby, Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Luca's my pick for MVP because no matter what happens
with Lebron James, Luca by himself is such a for
statistically that he could sleep walk his way through twenty nine,
ten and nine, kind of like he did last year.
So if you have a motivated, skinny Luca, and let's
say the Lakers finish somewhere in the top four in
the Western Conference, which I think would be higher than

(19:29):
a lot of these pronostigators are expecting, and he's putting
up thirty three, eleven and ten a game with decent efficiency,
He's going to win the MVP and all the conversation,
which is why I believe, going back to the original conversation,
which is why I believe it's going to be even
more awkward that Lebron is unhappy. When you consider how
well Luca is playing, You're like, you can't be happy

(19:51):
with this guy. You can't be happy with the MVP
front runner. You can't be happy with at worst, the
top three player in the NBA and he went out, Now.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
Like, what does this say about you?

Speaker 3 (20:00):
And so that's why I think that it's it's gonna
get real weird because I, like you mentioned, I don't
think Lebron's happy. I don't think he's gonna be, you know,
on his best behavior unless they come out and go
twenty five and five through the verse thirty something stupid
like that. And it's a shame because I think that
they really have potential to do a lot of damage
because Luca is that good.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, it is a little disappointing that he and I'm
not saying Lebron's gonna ruin it, Rob, but can you
see that potential where he's just unhappy because he's thinking
about the future. It's like, it's just I can see
it being uncomfortable. Now. I don't know if Lebron can
take you know, Rui, Hachimura and and DeAndre. I don't

(20:42):
know if he can guide them to twenty five and
five because his usager will go up. But it certainly
is gonna be interesting. Like do you think Lebron tries
to force a trade? Does he try to get out?

Speaker 4 (20:55):
I wouldn't be surprised would not be surprised at all.
We got to do that.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
He's never done that in his career, right, like publicly.
I mean, I think in Miami he tried to get
the coached.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
It depends on.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
How you look at it, right, because Lebron is not
what He's not a James Harden type or Jimmy Butler
type where he's gonna be like, hey, he has formally
requested a trade and this is what's going He's given
you a list of teams. Yet, like he's not that type.
He has too much power, point blank period where he
even has to do that. All he has to do
is tell Rich Paul, hey canvas the league for trades,

(21:26):
and then with Golden State calls them, and then Houston
calls them, and then the Knicks call them or whatever,
and without him having to demand a trade, the trade
rumors are percolating. Like that's all he has to do.
He can do all this while you know, figuratively keeping
his hands clean in the whole situation.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Yeah, that was that's tough to do. We could wrap
up briefly. I just don't know how much to do
with this WNBA stuff. Right So WNBA playoffs are in
full swing. We're recording this Tuesday afternoon. I guess there's
a game tonight. Sorry gets out, I'm not really watching.
I know that sounds idiotic or jerky to say I'm sorry,

(22:05):
like I just I'm sure the action is great. Anyways,
one of the better players in the league, Collier, were
on this rant at a press conference today, going off
on the commissioner. Just it's like a four minute rant.
You can see the video online, and essentially she said
that discussions date back to February, when the commissioner essentially

(22:26):
told her, yeah, Caitlin Clark and company should be thankful,
they should be on their knees groveling because the league
does so much for them and helps them get sponsorships,
which is obviously not accurate now I should say, Rob.
The commissioner responded by basically saying, you mischaracterize my comments.

(22:47):
I find it hard to believe someone actually say that
when it's.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Just not true.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
I mean, Katelin Clark had all kinds of sponsorships when
she was wrapping up at Iowa, Like the league did
not help her get anything like that. It's just nonsense,
but it's becoming a thing. And Rob, you pointed out
that Collier actually is invested in that other league that
could rival I think it's called what unrivaled, It's.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Called unrivaled the spot on could rival.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
The WNBA, So like, how ugly is this?

Speaker 3 (23:19):
It also doesn't help that her husband, Nafisia Collier's husband
is the president of Unrivaled. So if you watch that fairy,
if you watch that four minute clip, she mentions, Hey,
you know, I've seen my husband run a league and
he makes a point to check in with the players
and call them if things go bad, if they're banged
up or whatever.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Check in.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
That's what a good commissioner does. Now, some of the
things that that Collier said, you know are valid absolutely,
Like you know, I think they're officiating if you've watched
the WNBA games this season has been terrible, Like they
do not know, they do not know how to protect
their product. It's very similar to what we saw like
with nineties NBA basketball, where it's like, hey, well, you know,

(23:56):
the best way to win might be to junk it
up and physical and elbow and all. That's and that's great,
but you also have to consider the on court product, right,
you have to consider what it means to the TV
product and who you're marketing this league to.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
So that's number one.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Number two, it's weird that she would make these comments.
You mentioned that the Angelbert said they were mischaracterized, where
she was saying, Hey, people like Kaitlyn Clark, Angel Reice, Pagebeckers,
you know that they should be happy that they're in
the league because you know they wouldn't be able to
get any of this kind of stuff without us.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Right.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
I have a hard time believing that because in all
of the other public comments made by Engelbert throughout the
last year and a half, she has been nothing but
complimentary of Kaitlyn Clark. It seems to me that if
anybody is aware of the impact that Kaitlyn Clark has
had on the league, it's her, and she has gone
out of her way to praise her and point out

(24:50):
what a great ambassador she is for the league, point
out what she's done to their media ratings and why
they have this power over these certain television networks. It's
because of Kaitlyn Clark. And even though the numbers are
up a year over year, because of the league is
doing better.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
Right.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
You just look no further than the All Star Game
where Kitlyn Clark had to have missed because of injury,
and when they put out the ratings numbers, you recall
they had to say, oh, up one hundred and fifty
eight percent over from twenty twenty three.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
It's like, well, what happened last year?

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Oh, we're down like fifty percent because that wh Kayln
Clark played right, And like they go out of their
way to kind of remind you that Caitlyn Clark is
still the golden goose in this whole situation, even when
she's not playing. So this whole thing, obviously it's part
of a bigger conversation because it is a WNBACBA you
know issue. They're probably going to head into a lockout

(25:41):
here in the next couple of months. But to your point,
it is odd that the president of another league is
also serving as a vice president of the WNBA Players Association.
So take not all of it, not some of it,
but you know, take a portion of what she said
with the grain of salt.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yeah, it's a weird topic. I confess to not really
paying attention to the league as much as I did
last year. And I'm not some kind of snob. I
know there's a lot of good players in the WNBA,
but like you know, life just kind of getting in
the way. And also you know, there's a lot a
lot more happening in the NFL gambling Fantasy Survivor, Like
everything's just ratcheted up.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Rob.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
I feel like there's not enough time anyway. We run
out of time today, We're back tomorrow. Good to have
you back, Rob. See that
