saw ticket prices because show he's pitching for the first
time in like over six hundred days, and conspiracy theory alert.
The Dodgers announced, Hey, we're gonna have show Hey pitch
a day after the Raphael Devers Devers trade to the
Giants to kind of one up their their rivals, and

shoeho Tony lasted one inning, zero strikeouts. I saw people
actually posting his betting strike outs like over under. I'm like,
are people serious? He was barely gonna pitch. He lasted
one inning, gave up a run, two hits, and he
was done. I apparently the traffic was so bad getting
to the game because it's Otani and people are paying
thousands of dollars to watch him pitch. They were struck

in traffic and didn't even get to see the first inning.
And by the way, that does suck about Dodger Stadium.
You have to leave super duper early just to just
to get there because it's such a mob scene around
the stadium. Anyways, that's not really the big story. I
just wanted to needle Okase fans a little bit. Obviously,
the Thunder win Game five, first time the Pacers have

three months. Nine. Not only did Oklahoma City cover the spread,
but they locked up Tyrese Halliburton. Yes, Loudor did a
great job. Halliburton oh for six shooting, oh for four
on threes, a whopping four points, seven rebounds, six assists.

A rough one for Helibert. Now, he did have some
sort of ankle injury. I don't know if it's a
ten to night is thing, but coming out of the
second half he was seen on the bench like pinching
somewhere on his shin above his ankle high ankle sprain.
I don't know what it was. But in the first
half he had a drive to the hoop and kind
of lost his footing and they slow moded the camera,

and when he fell down, I don't know if it
was upset over the turnover, but he was very much
wincing and stayed down a beat longer than normal, and
I guess that's they're guessing that that's what happened. I'm
recording this right after the Pacers loss, so we don't
have details yet. And how bad it is. Halliburn's a gamer.
I'm sure he's gonna downplay it. He did not have
a great game, and you know he's a superstar in

the clutch, but on a night to night basis, he's
just he's not there yet. I mean, you can't. It's
unfathomable that a superstar would go zero for six in
a finals game. Yes, the Thunder played good defense on him,
obviously Thunder a good defensive team, but zero for six,
come on in thirty four minutes. That's yeah, that's I

don't even know what to say. I mean, the game
was not great, let's be real. Pacers were down double
digits for most of it. Then TJ McConnell just went
off in the third quarter, turned into seemingly like Lebron James,
and the third brings him back within six and then
at an interesting moment. I don't know if you guys
saw this. So there was a jump ball late third, yeah,
late third, maybe it was early four, now, it might

have been late third, and it was TJ McConnell and SGA.
They both go up and you know at that point
you're just like reaching up for the ball, and they
called a foul on TJ McConnell and on a jump ball,
SGA went to the free throw line. Now everybody on
the internet was joking, Oh, that's the first time in
NBA history someone's making free throws off of a jump

ball tip and replay showed that, Yeah, McConnell got his
hand a little bit, but it was still It's one
of those moments like, you've got to be kidding, are
you calling that? And again I have not you guys know,
I have not been throwed with NBA officiating in the postseason.
It's been total dudo, so inconsistent. If we had recorded
right after the Game four loss, I would have probably

said something that would have got this. I signed my
contract with iHeart to return for another year to do
the pod, but I probably they probably would have tore
it up because I was so angry and upset. I
did not bet on Game five, but like, the refereeing
is just so inconsistent. I don't just from my feeling.

they're letting career. There's so much grabbing and physical nonsense
that goes on. And I know I can already hear

So a couple guys I know got roped into teams
last year and the experience wasn't great, but obviously with
those teams, but the league was fun. And so the
two guys who were on different teams but our friends,
they played together in some juco and essentially they were

I'm in. And they're like, well, you know, these guys
are like twenty five years old and they're like, Jay Mac,
I don't know if you can hang on. I'm like,
I don't care, I'll try. I'm in. And I you know,
because of my job and whatever. That sounds lame to say,
but the visibility I have, I can recruit some guys.
People you know, know some of my takes. So we

put a squad together and it's pretty formidable. Now, we
haven't had everybody yet for a game because when you
get former NBA guys, they're not available to drop a
hat anyway. So we played the defending champions on Sunday,
and of course it's the first game I go to. Guys,
I'm not kidding. I walk into the gym. I literally
take two steps into the gym and this guy goes

J Mack and I turn over. I'm like, oh, sh
this is It's not in a great area, not that
it's a bad area, but not in an area I'm familiar with.
And I roll in there and he's like, oh, big fan, dude,
I watch the show all the time. I'm like, oh, nice.
That's pretty cool. It's like all right, and we start

talking and I'm watching these basketball games and I'm like,
oh instantly, I'm like, you know, I like to think
I can do I can hang with anybody, and I
can blah blah blah guys. It took like five minutes
of watching I'm like, oh my god, these guys are
not missing shots. It's not an NBA three point line,
which sucks. It's a college rue point line, and the
guys like don't miss and they're big and fast and young,

and I was just I was a little Obviously, I
was in awe because I love hoops, but it was
just one of those moments like, oh yeah, did I
get in over my head here?

it was wake FORESTED. Usc And i'm on the court with,
him and SO i pretty, much you, KNOW i had
gone out to warm ups and it's a weird vibe
because it's like it's not just you're playing the. Opponent

let's just say there was like one hundred people. Watching
And i'm very clearly the smallest guy on the, court

very clearly the oldest guy on the. Court and we're
doing like a layup, line AND i am, like, Well

i felt like people were looking at. Me nobody's looking at,

WAS the mvp of, the league. Tatted up he just
looks menacing and he's just. A, Monster ANYWAYS so i

That guy and then within three minutes of him being
on the Court and i'm watching from the bench kind
of waiting for myself to sub, myself in he gets
like a technical foul because he's just like this. Hot

oh geez yelling at, his teammates yelling. At officials, i'm,
like damn, all Right maybe i'm Not GONNA maybe i
don't need to guard. This guy because instantly they start
posting up our guards because they had we didn't have

eleven anyways we're leading, first quarter, second quarter and then
in the third quarter there should have been a kickball

it one of our players was frustrated and went up
and went to kick the ball and like kicked an
opponent and the guy tripped and they it was a.
Flagrant foul so and the other team was, extremely upset
although they're friendly with, this guy and it kind of

to dozing run and then it was nip, and tuck
and then with like six minut stuff they started to.

are like twenty five years old and they're like, Jay Mac,
I don't know if you can hang on. I'm like,

but the visibility I have, I can recruit some guys.
People you know, know some of my takes. So we

put a squad together and it's pretty formidable. Now, we
haven't had everybody yet for a game because when you
get former NBA guys, they're not available to drop a
hat anyway. So we played the defending champions on Sunday,
and of course it's the first game I go to. Guys,
I'm not kidding. I walk into the gym. I literally
take two steps into the gym and this guy goes

J Mack and I turn over. I'm like, oh, sh
this is It's not in a great area, not that
it's a bad area, but not in an area I'm familiar with.
And I roll in there and he's like, oh, big fan, dude,
I watch the show all the time. I'm like, oh, nice.
That's pretty cool. It's like all right, and we start

talking and I'm watching these basketball games and I'm like,
oh instantly, I'm like, you know, I like to think
I can do I can hang with anybody, and I
can blah blah blah guys. It took like five minutes
of watching I'm like, oh my god, these guys are
not missing shots. It's not an NBA three point line,
which sucks. It's a college rue point line, and the
guys like don't miss and they're big and fast and young,

and I was just I was a little Obviously, I
was in awe because I love hoops, but it was
just one of those moments like, oh yeah, did I
get in over my head here?

let's just say there was like one hundred people. Watching
And i'm very clearly the smallest guy on the, court

i felt like people were looking at. Me nobody's looking at,

honestly there was one guy on their team THAT i

WAS the mvp of, the league. Tatted up he just

That guy and then within three minutes of him being
on the Court and i'm watching from the bench kind
of waiting for myself to sub, myself in he gets
like a technical foul because he's just like this. Hot

oh geez yelling at, his teammates yelling. At officials, i'm,
like damn, all Right maybe i'm Not GONNA maybe i
don't need to guard. This guy because instantly they start
posting up our guards because they had we didn't have
that much depth we only had eight guys and they had. Like,
eleven anyways we're leading, first quarter, second quarter and then
in the third quarter there should have been a kickball

on a pick and roll and the ref didn't. Call
it one of our players was frustrated and went up
and went to kick the ball and like kicked an
opponent and the guy tripped and they it was a.
Flagrant foul so and the other team was, extremely upset
although they're friendly with, this guy and it kind of

to dozing run and then it was nip, and tuck
and then with like six minut stuff they started to.
