Shot No Chase on the Black Effect Podcast Network on
our radio, please make sure you share it. But I
did want to invite some folks in in our studio
here with Marcella's and myself so that I can get
real time feedback.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
And I'm getting ready to go all the way in.
Let's just go ahead and get it in. Let's talk
about it for what it is. Somebody needs to go
ahead and say Marcella is, so guess what it might
as well be me. So it might as well be me,
and we about to get into it. Put a five
(01:15):
in the chat if you say, Tess gone and talk
your shit if you want test to gone and talk
your shit. Put a five in the chat, put some
heels in the chat because it's toast step in time
right about now. And I hate to be the one.
Let me just say I really don't hate it. I
was gonna say, I hate to say I told you so,
(01:36):
but Marcella's I do kind of love a good I
told you so. And the reason why it's not because
I want things to go bad. It's not that I
wanted to see things go bad. What I'm trying to do,
what trainer tells is trying to do, is teach you
how this game works so that we can be better prepared.
(01:57):
It's not that I want to see people fail. It's
not that I want to see things not work out.
It's not that I don't want what's best for us.
I am trying to show you ahead of time what
it is so that when it happens, you can recognize it.
And so I must family. I must do that I
told you so, because that's the only way I'm gonna
(02:20):
be able to put it together so that it can
make sense. Are you following what I'm saying, Marcellus, yep?
And before you can go there, let's let's do a
flash go ahead. I want to do the flash back
because you called it when you did your revote segment
a while ago, you mentioned tiktoking, even by you out here, tiktoking. Well, yeah,
(02:47):
but I'm not going with that because that so let's start. No,
that's not the main I know what you're saying. I'm
gonna weave that in, but that's not the premise of
the argument. The premise of the argument today is, and
I'm gonna get to that. You're talking about how they
(03:07):
were able to use Jasmine's public profile against her, which
I did speak on that. I knew they were gonna
do that. I said that, But that's not the I
told you so today. So let me walk through the
I told you many. I told you souls that come
with this, but that will be putting it on her
and I am gonna show the connection with that, but
(03:30):
that's not the I told you so. So everybody just
strapping in. We're gonna unpack this. We're going to what
they call in what we call in mediation, peel the onion.
The I told you so on the very first thing
that I want you guys to know that I have
been saying for over a decade before Trump that when
it comes to black leadership, and I need y'all to
(03:52):
follow me, they are always they love. It's kind of
like when y'all see culture vultures and they say they
love our rhythm, but they don't like our blues. They
don't mind. And this is where people, I need to
put your critical thinking hats on. Oh no, no, we
got black leaders we got Massaint Waters, we got this,
We got that. Nothing is ever absolute, Nothing is ever absolute.
(04:19):
I am giving you an overall idea of how it's
been historically and why, going back to VP Harris, why
I knew it was a set up out the gate,
somebody in the comments put set up. I also want
(04:42):
to set the foundation of this is I am not
because what they normally hear Marcella's is well, Republicans ain't
no better. It's better than Trump. This ain't about that.
This is not about me telling you to go be
a Republican. This is not about me telling you to
go be a Trumper. This is not about me saying
(05:03):
leave the Democrat Party if those are the things that
you align with. This is also not about me telling
you to get out of the game, because y'all know
that I talk about training every day to put you
in the game. So I'm not telling you to get
out the game. So those of you who are listening,
I need you to help the cold teachers who are
here live with us in the studio to remind folks
that come in the chat that love saying, well, it
(05:25):
ain't no better than Trump. That ain't what we're talking about.
Let's be clear about that, and I'll say it over
and over, but I'm setting the foundation. This is my
opening statement of letting you know what this is not
about right out the gate, because I already know what
y'all gonna say. You must be saying Trump's better. It's
not what I'm saying. That's not what Jasmine Crockett is saying.
She's not saying she's helping the Republican, She's not saying
any of that. This is about being respected for our
(05:49):
time and our treasure. This is about being respected for
our time and our treasure. And the Democrat Party is
always talking about black girl, imagine black girl magic, black girl, men,
black women, hold it down, black black people, black people
specifically black women, black women, black women, And what I
(06:10):
keep telling y'all is that the math does not math
as far as saying we love you and let me
do it. In relationship terms, we love you, but I
only call you at two am in the morning, when
everything else is closed. I love that. I know you're
(06:30):
gonna make a good meal for me. I love and
know that you're gonna pray for me. I love and
know that, at the end of the day, ain't nobody
gonna save you more than a black woman when that
comes to our men, when it comes to our community,
when it comes to our children. I know they want
to tell y'all something different, but I know they say, oh,
black women ain't this. Black women ain't that. But there
(06:51):
is nobody proven to be more loyal. I wish I had.
I wish I had just five witnesses of somebody that
love ay mama. But if your mama wasn't nothing, at
least you had a big mama. At least you had
an auntie, at least you had a friend. There is
nobody more loyal than the black woman. Once we love,
(07:13):
we love on you through life. Once we love on you.
Our cold dependence, I wish I had somebody our cold
dependency trauma makes us love you in spite of it all. Yeah, yeah,
that's a fact. That's why you can talk about us.
(07:33):
You can rape, rob pillage, beat us, do all of that,
and you will still find a black woman on the
side of a black man. And I'm sorry that you
didn't have this example growing up. I get it. Maybe
your mama wasn't shit, maybe your auntie wasn't shit. But
but there was somebody. If it wasn't nobody but a teacher,
if it wasn't nobody but a babysitter, if it wasn't
nobody but a house, there was somebody. There was a
(07:55):
black woman somewhere praying for you. And because the Democrat
Party knows this, that black women attach our emotion to
our fight, even though conservatives say stop being emotional. Well, see,
if I want an emotional Marcella, that wouldn't make me
be able to risk it all and be willing to
(08:16):
die for the cause. See, they want to take you
to tell you to take your emotion out of it
because they want they know that once the emotion is voided,
that means there's no more passion to stand for righteousness.
They want me to look at you, Marcella's as just
another number. They want me to look at you as
(08:37):
not somebody I give a damn about. See, they want
you to look at when people temp tays, I don't
know why you take your time, because I've been called
for this. That's the difference. They don't want me to
see Lazarus as still having the ability to get up
and walk. They want me to see a Lazarus as
dead and in his grave and ain't they said it
ain't nothing else that could be done for. They don't
(08:57):
want the emotion that is required to tell you, Lazarus,
get up. I wish I had somebody that knew a
Lazarus that said get up. So this is why they
say put facts over emotion. Yeah, you do want to
put facts over emotion. But in politics, in community change,
(09:21):
somebody got to be emotional about something. Somebody got to
give a damn about something. And so what the Democrat
Party has been able to do is black women's black
women's emotion for our community, our passion for our people,
our passion to want to make sure that the school
board is on point, Our passion to make sure our
(09:42):
sons ain't getting locked up and shot, our passion to
make sure that our daughters are not getting raped. Our
passion for that. They've been able to take that and
use that to their advantage, which by default, that's moved
our community forward. It hasn't solved it all, but certainly
has moved it forward. But now black women are saying,
(10:03):
I'm gonna need that. I'm gonna need you to put
five dollars on that. I'm gonna need that leadership position.
I'm gonna need you to go ahead and recognize that
it's been me in addition to our black men. This
is not a gender thing, but I am talking specifically
about black women women. I'm gonna need you to put
(10:23):
something on that. I'm gonna need you to go ahead
and get on your knee and go ahead and ask
me to marry you. And I'm gonna go ahead and
need you to not string along some five year engagement.
I'm gonna need you to go ahead and show up
at the altar mysellas. Let's stop playing with it, right right,
(10:45):
And so when Democrats have done have played with it,
and now black women are starting to say, you know what,
I think we're gonna go on ahead and wrist black women.
I want you to know when I I say rest
I am not talking about on the local and the
state level. I want you guys to read the argument,
(11:07):
and I'm gonna read a little bit of this and
then we're gonna get more into the word. Jasmine Crockett
has attempted to lead the Democrat lead to take leadership
roles twice within the last year, one in November when
she said, hey, and I'm summarizing in layman's terms, i
want to be on the committee that basically forms the
(11:28):
messaging and the strategy for the Democrat Party. Well, whether
y'all like Jasmine style or not. And we'll get to
the tiktoking and all of the things that I said.
We're gonna get to that in a minute, because I
knew that was gonna crash her out with her party
as far as leadership is concerned. We'll get to that
in a minute. But that's not what the premise of
this is about, because crash out don't mean bad. I'm
saying I knew they were gonna use that against her,
(11:49):
But I'm gonna talk about that later. But we're gonna
set up the foundation now. On the other matter. Clearly, Marcellus,
the people like Jasmine Crocketts style all in the comments,
they saying yes girl, yes, queen, tell them, queen, tell them,
tell them, tell them, tell him they like it. So
Jason raised her hand and say, why don't y'all let
(12:10):
me help y'all with the messaging, and only six people
count them, six said that we'll give you the leadership position. Now,
I said on the Breafast coup, and I argue this
all the time with Charlemagne in the group chat. I
don't know, but she raised money, she did this, she
(12:31):
did that, she raised me is the dollar she did that? Yeah,
she did all that Marcellos. But when it came man,
I wish I mean, I show hate saying I got
it right, but damn I said this on the last
Breakfast Club interview Marcella's. Then at the end of the day,
y'all could be in the comments, yes yes, girl, tell them.
(12:52):
When it came down to voting for her to actually
have power, they did not come to the people in
the comments. Her colleagues, her Democratic colleagues, were the ones
that get to the side if she gets power, and
(13:13):
they did not like all of that she was doing
on TikTok. They did not like the bad built body
all of that that everybody was enjoying. And I'm gonna
get to that in a moment, because I'm not saying
what she did was wrong. I'm telling y'all how it works. See,
the thing about the law is it ain't about what
you think it should be. It's how it is. Are
y'all following put a five in the chat? This requires
(13:34):
critical shipping. I said that when she was doing all
of that, that the more it's five hundred and thirty
five people in Congress, y'all, how many do y'all see
on TV? A handful of ten twenty at best. It's
the reason why. And yes it's jealousy, but we're gonna
get to that in a minute. Fread because he can't
just go straight to the jealousy. We must unwrangle all
(13:57):
of these different pieces. Gonna get to that in a minute.
Let's go step by step. Let's do this like we
do in the court case, and let's go step by step,
so I'll give you all the tools that you need.
Don't jump ahead to jealousy because some of that's true,
some of it's not. I'll get to that in a moment.
(14:19):
Oh we have in church, when she started getting all
of the national media attention, and it clearly was galvanizing
the Democrats those types of roles, which is why in
my training Roles and Responsibilities on course one that y'all
need to go watch that's available. Everybody has a role
(14:40):
to play her. The way she moves, how she organizes,
how she's able to raise money, how she's able to
fire up folks. That is a role that is more
suited for Democrat chair of the DNC. That's what Jamie
Harrison was not able to do. He can't fire up nobody.
(15:02):
Even if you put gasoline. He go in the room
and put poor gasoline on the ground with a match
the fire. Still, respectfully, Jamie Harrison can't fire up nobody.
Jasmine's role, just so you know, is actually better suited
to run the Democrat National Committee. They wouldn't give it
too over there either. I'm just giving y'all with roles
(15:23):
while rolls are important. I know you want your elected
official to be the one yelling and hollering and screaming
on the floor, Yes we do. But if you do that,
also know they're not going to put you in the
leadership position because yes, although some of that is jealousy,
follow me, listen, good guys. Also, some of that is
(15:45):
they need you to work under the radar because in
order to get shit done. There's three things. Jealousy is
some of it. Some of it is they don't want
to be exposed. They don't want they don't want you
to know. They don't want you to tell people what's
really going on. Like when AOC said I'm gonna keep
talking to the cameras. Y'all remember when she did that.
Remember when she did that. She said, I'm gonna keep
talking to the cameras because I report to them. I
don't report to you. See. That makes them real scared.
(16:07):
They don't want all of that. That's why Trump scared
them because he always going live ig live on everything.
He wants you to know everything, and I love that style.
But as it stands right now, the Democrat Party doesn't
work that style. They don't like that. They don't want
everybody knowing everything, which is a bad thing. I'm with
you when you're right, but I'm telling you the reasons why.
(16:27):
But then, guys, if I'm gonna be fair and objective
about it, The third thing is, no, they don't want
the loudest person in leadership because a lot of this
is getting shit done and they don't want you making
everything a headline. It's the reason why Senator Turner, who
I love, was so direct communications for years, very close
friend of mine. The lady that beat her her campaign
(16:49):
slogan said headline had said headways over headlines. She read on, yes,
that was her camp. That was also the campaign so bowmen.
The guy that ran across that beat him in the campaign.
His message was, this ain't about going to the national media.
This's about getting shit done. So yes, Senator Turner's opposition
(17:14):
her campaign slogan was headway over headlines. Dang, because Senator
Turner is a great order to one of the best
in the game. She ran on, you need somebody to
get their head down. Focus on the work, not on
the breakfast club. Focus on the work, not on fonts news,
Focus on the work, not on MSNBC. Focus on the work,
(17:36):
not seeing them, because I'm gonna get shit done. And
if I'm being honest and objective, a lot of that
is very true, not in every case, but when it
comes back to bringing back money to your district and
people being able to know they can cut a deal
with you and earmark some things with you. I am
telling you that the louder you are as an elected
(17:58):
official in the media, those things can work against you.
Those things can work against you. So this is why
when we talk about roles and responsibilities in my training
that y'all need to go watch candidate, activists, organizer, campaign worker.
(18:24):
I encourage elected officials to work with activists, work with organizers,
give them the mic so that they can carry the
water so that you don't crash yourself out in either
one not being able to get in a leadership position,
or two your local district ends up electing somebody else
(18:49):
because they say you're bringing too much attention to the district.
Put a five innue chatter you can hear me. So
it's many reasons. Put a five in thee chatterf you
can hear me. And if you're understanding what I'm saying,
it's not just jealousy. It could be one thing. It's
not just they want to hide everything because they don't
want us to see what's going on. That's one part
of it. It's also, don't nobody want to close no
deal with you if they think you're gonna be on
(19:10):
the microphone every day, all day telling everything. If a
Republicans say, you know what, I'm gone to vote this
way to gone and seeing you give you this two
point meion and bring back the dalla whatever, they don't
want all that know Marcellus, because it'll crash them out.
Are y'all following what I'm saying? It's many, many reasons.
That's why roles and responsibilities are critical to understand the role.
And I encourage elected officials work with big mouths like
(19:32):
me because we ain't trying to be elected. We can
say what you can't say, right you understand? Are y'all
putting a five in the chat? Do y'all understand what
I'm saying? So many of those reasons is what got
her in this position. But this podcast is not about
(19:56):
blaming her, because I want to make sure we're clear
about that. I'm the main prem this podcast is letting
you know black women that this is why I said,
there has not been one black woman elected as governor?
Are you following me? Sean? Not one? They have not
given it. They've given it to over forty white women.
(20:16):
So what made y'all think they were going to give
black women president of the United States? And let me
save y'all time in the comments with Kamala ain't black,
she damn show ain't white. I'm not fit to go
down that road with y'all about who black and who
ain't black? And who is and who that. What I'm
telling you is no black woman has ever been elected
(20:40):
as head of state, as governor and what they did
black women. I know y'all don't want to hear this
because y'all took it personal when they got your emotion. Oh, yes,
she qualified, she could be all that. Yes, Nobody never
said that Harris was not qualified. I never said that.
Nobody said that Jasmine a whole attorney is not qualify.
(21:00):
She is qualified to carry the message of what the
people want. That has nothing to do with it when
it comes to power. They do not want us to
have the power. They don't mind if we clean up,
they don't mind if we do they work, They don't
mind as long as you don't ask for the power.
(21:23):
Are y'all following what I'm saying? So when they told y'all, no, no, no,
VP Harris is qualified, they got y'all believing where you
started arguing about her qualifications when it was never about that,
(21:45):
and because black women, you want to be seen at
your job, you want to be seen in your relation
I wish I had a witness. You want to be
seen at your job, You want to be seen in
your relationship. You finally want to be accounted for like
Janaiah on Straw that broke the camel's back, because we
want to be seen so damn bad. You started taking
(22:08):
the personal. It started becoming personal to you, so that
when somebody in comments had anything to say about Harris,
anything to say about Crockett, anything to say about anything, go,
that's youall problem. Y'all just don't like black women. That's
your par even if somebody had an objective argument. You
wanted to be seen so bad because we're overlooked in
so many ways that you started taking it personal. And
then what they did with that is they said, well,
(22:30):
black women want to be seen so bad, so we
gonna go on and give them this bait and we
gonna let them run with it. And black women, Uh,
when were black women were the first ones out on
the front line and said, oh, yeah, we're gonna do this.
Black women can do this, not knowing damn well that
we were not. It ain't enough black women to flip
over the electoral college. It don't matter if every black
(22:52):
woman in this country donated money. Every black woman in
this country voted for VP. Harris. It's something called the
electoral college. The seven Swing states. You gotta convince these
Dixie states to put a woman. They skipped over a
white woman, Hillary Clinton. So you know, damn well, they
was gonna skip over Harris, and they only gave one
(23:13):
hundred days to do it. But y'all didn't want to
hear me. So I just said after Gate, it's a setup.
And I got you know, I stopped talking mysellers because
if I was talking, they would have said, well, see
it's because of you. See if you had only got
on her side. See, So I just said, no, don't
worry about it. I'm telling y'all the set up. I'm
gonna shut my mouth. I'm gonna wait till it's all
said and done. And now y'all finally hearing me put
a five in the chat. See, sometimes you gotta sit
(23:34):
back like big Mom and them do Big Mom and
them said, you're gonna learn on the buy and buy.
See I do the buy and by type commentary. I
like to just throw it out there and say it
one time, and I'll circle back and put a bow
water on the back end. See, I don't have to
be the first to say it. I don't want to
be the shutout to when they do gossip the latest
with laurad Lroossa, I don't want to be the latest.
I like being the greatest, so I wish I had
(23:56):
and this, No, Lauren, I'm just saying on gossip, you
know you gotta be the latest. You know what I'm saying.
When they come to this politics, somebody in the comments,
I like to be the greatest. Don't worry about I
like to be the greatest at this shit. I like
being don't worry about it. Let me go and put
it out here, and I'll double back and bring this
receipt and tied it in a boat. I'm not gonna
argue with you. Y'all got it, y'all say y'all got it,
y'all got it? Show me then you gonna show me.
(24:18):
You gotta show me how North Carolina gonna vote a
black woman in his president of the United States. Oh
but he got a Democrat governor, right they you know,
a Democrat man, white governor. You rather show me how
Georgia gonna vote in president of the United States for
a black woman when they wouldn't give Stacey a governor.
You're gonna have to show me how Novata, how the
(24:38):
Hispanics that's always fighting for black power, which I sued
the progressive was over by the way. You're gonna have
to show me how they gonna let one of us
in before they let one of y'all in. You're gonna
have to show me with the seven Swing States how
it's gonna get done. And it don't have shit to
do with her qualifications or if she was qualified for
the job. Oh, but they did it would Obama right,
(25:00):
he was a man. I know y'all don't like that,
but that got a lot to do with it. That's
why a woman ain't never been elected to president of
the United States. First, we're gonna deal with gender white,
then we're gonna deal with color. Nobody was more qualified
than Hill reclaim they didn't give it to me, asked,
what the fuck make you think they're gonna give it
to you? And it don't mean it's not because your
qualified black woman. Stop hearing that and taking that as
(25:22):
you saying I ain't good enough. No, baby, I'm not
your mama, I'm not your daddy. I'm not the man
that told you that. In fact, if there's somebody in
your life that's telling you you not good enough, if
you are hearing this within the sound of my voice,
please look further to me in front of you. That's
telling you that you are good enough, that you are
more than enough. If it's five people telling you you
(25:43):
ain't good enough, it's telling me telling you that you are.
I never said that. I'm telling you how the game is,
how the game is played, so Jasmine says. And after
raising all of this money, after raising millions of dollars
(26:06):
for a million to be exact, after going to over
one hundred cities, she told y'all, y'all got it. She said,
I'm gonna focus on local and state. And I've been
telling y'all at Marcellus. Is this another good time for
me to say, I told you so that's it. I've
(26:27):
been telling y'all focus on local and state. So guess
what black women. Guess what black people, but specifically the
black women. This is where this is where we get
to put a reverse on O. Somebody put reverse on
on in the chair. This is where we get to
play another card. This is why every post I'm telling
y'all about training, I ain't telling every podcast BAT training,
every post BAT training. I want y'all to get involved
(26:49):
on the local level. If they don't want to give
it to us on the federal go take off on
the local and tell them get somebody else to do it.
We cannot just line dance and sit down and do nothing.
Your school board needs you, your city commissioner needs you,
your mayors need you. Get in, assume power and tell
(27:10):
them on the federal level. Y'all got it, yep. Because
if we can show that we can move some shit
on the local and state level, then at some point,
and it may not be within this lifetime. Justice is
about planning a seed. You may not ever get to
experience the shade from the tree that you plant. It's
(27:33):
about planting the seed. If you are in this saying
well I ain't gonna never see no change, I'm out
of it. I don't want to see no change, well
that ain't with This is for This is for the planters,
This is for the farmers. This is for the harvesters
in the building. If you are a harvester. If you
want to join me in harvesting with my daughter and
so on and so forth, case, then come on and
join push the line. Let me help you be a
(27:56):
city commissioner to move some shit hold on want to say,
Let me help you show you what it means to
be city commissioner and bring millions of dollars like Regina
Hill did in Orlando, Florida for jobs, housing and transportation.
And she did it being arrested twenty one times. She
(28:18):
did it being a felon. She did it running against
seven people. She did it. She did it, And it
don't take trying to get five hundred and thirty five
people to agree with you. Jasmine. Focus on Dallas, make
some shit move in Dallas, make them come back to
(28:40):
you on their hands and knees. Somebody said tays, we
need you running. No, no, no, This is why I
keep telling you all about positions. You want me on
the microphone, you want me to be an organized. I'm
better putting people in. I'm better saying what they can't say.
I'm better being the crash out dummy. Everybody gotta know,
(29:02):
they role see because if I've run, which I did,
for three months if I run, I can't just say
I'm only gonna focus on black people, because the reality
it is ain't black people. It's more than black people
voting for you. That's the reality. So you need people
like me that's gonna tell elected officials who gotta represent everybody,
(29:22):
just say well, why you're representing everybody? Make sure you
represent us. That's why everybody got to roll to play.
You need people that can say see and I hate
to talk in third person, but I gotta say this. See,
y'all found out about Teeslim figure roll without me ever
being elected. Did y'all hear what I said? WHOA Now? Yep?
I said, y'all heard about me without me ever. Some
(29:43):
of these people you would never have known respectfully. And
I'm gonna say this respectfully, but I gotta say it.
You would have never known about AOC has she not
been elected. AOC wasn't making no noise as just the
regular AOC TESLM figure over been make ignors my whole life.
I don't never don't put nothing that that's what makes
(30:04):
me real dangerous. Don't put nothing above my name. I
don't want no damn title except paternity and that and
that better damn show make you shake in your boots,
because I've already proven that I know how to sway
the court of public opinion. So the only difference was
inside the court. And we we started on that, don't
we On August fifth? Shout out to family law samn,
(30:26):
you so don't worry about don't worry about me being elected.
I'm dangerous on the our side. Let them be elected.
Let's let them be cause again, somebody got to be
another to vote. Guys. This is why I keep trying
(30:47):
to stress to y'all, somebody got to be another vote.
That ain't where you want me. You want me dangerous
and loose is a goose on this microphone. You want
me to not have to worry about raising money, worry
about who liked me, who don't like me. You want
me to say whatever come out. You don't want me
beholden to nobody. I don't even I ain't even beholding
(31:09):
the y'all. That's why I say, come to the training
fifty dollars twenty five dollars an hour. You're paying for
a class just like you would. Because I got a
master in adult education. I'm a lost student. I'm a Ford,
the Supreme Court, certified Civil Circuit appellate mediator, and training.
You're paying for a class you ain't donating, You ain't
giving me shit. Did you hear what I said? Because
(31:31):
I like to make sure in case you ever think
you own me, let's make sure we clar you paying
me no different than you paid the community college because
I am qualified, certified, bonafide to teach at the collegiate level.
Are y'all following me? That's a follower. We want to
make sure we're on the same page. See y'all get
to tell y'all let the official what they owe you.
I don't know you shit, I'm that's real triggering to me.
(31:53):
All like I let my mom house at eighteen because
I didn't like no, oh no, that's okay. I just
go in and just go sleep in the car. So no,
I'm not good as a candidate unless not saying it
will never happen. But it would be in a very
like a Southfield, Southfield, Georgia that's ninety eight percent black,
that's paid five dollars a year. That's very very small.
(32:15):
Are y'all following? We gotta be a very small It
would never be Congress. It's too many people to please,
and I don't want to. I don't want to be
a people pleaser. And you have to do that in
order to be elected. You want me loose as a goose.
What elected officials need to do is work with more
people like me to say, hey, get this message out.
Put this out because I can't say it. But the
(32:36):
problem in here, I'm gonna come. This is where my
objective critique is. And this is not jasmine. This is
just in general goals for Nina Turner, all of them,
all of them who I like. As long as they
only want to be the only ones on the microphone
and listen closely, they go for rappers, they go for that.
As long as you want to be the only one
(32:57):
on the microphone, you're gonna be the only one in
the fight. As long as you don't build other people up,
build their microphone up, bring other people in the game,
you're gonna be the only one in the fight. Let
me do it. In hood terns, y'all know, I love
hood terms, even though a lot of y'all ain't. Hood
(33:18):
Og is no good without a YG and a BG.
A YG is a young gangs and a baby gangster.
I am no good, Marcella's If I didn't put you
in the game, I'm no good. If I don't give
you the mic tool, I'm no good. If I don't
show you how to do it, I'm no good. Because
when I'm dead and gone, somebody gotta carry on the mission.
(33:40):
And what happens is a lot of these elected official
they want to be the only one in the spotlight.
They're caught up with the fame. They want to be
the only one on the breakfast club, the only one
that this is that. And it becomes intoxicating guys, and
it becomes addicted and they can't move out the way.
And because they can't move out the way, you end
up crashing out where your district don't vote you back
(34:01):
in because they say you too much of a show vote,
or we don't like that style, we want somebody whatever,
or your caucus members don't vote you in on nothing
because it could be for the many reasons I told you,
jealous whatever, whatever. Instead of strategically going to the mic
every now and then, but also going too higher, somebody
put higher because people don't work for free. Hey, we
(34:23):
want to hire an organization to go make some noise
to go do some tours, to go rally to people.
But they don't want to do that, guys, I'm telling
you what it is. They don't want to pay nobody
for nothing. They want you to do it on GP
for solidarity. They don't want to promote your name. They
don't want to share shit that you talk about. Just
like many of y'all first time ever coming to my page.
(34:45):
I've been on Fox News for ten years. Y'all just
got on. For those of y'all have just got on,
I've been over kicking the ass for ten years. On
matter of fact, many of the people that shared it
for the very first time, no, damn well, I've been
on Fox News for ten years. They never shared it.
They don't want y'all to se They want to be
the only ones that they say, oh man, she gave
(35:06):
in the business. But can I tell y'all a secret.
They wasn't giving in the business face to face Marcella's
was they? They was making videos about Fox News respectfully, respectfully,
no disrespect. I'm telling you what it is. They was
making videos. I was shocked to see DL humans shout
(35:26):
out to deal Huglets team for sharing it. Because he'd
have made plenty videos about Fox News, but he ain't
never been over there fighting them. I've been fighting him
head up, fade up, fade for faid. Weren't nobody sharing
my shit? But I wasn't in it for nobody to
share it. I wasn't. That's what I'm telling y'all. You
can't be in this for nobody to share it. I
didn't give a shit. I was shocked when Joy shared
(35:48):
it because when I went on FOT news for the
very first time, Joy called me personally on my cell
phone and said, girl, I can't believe I know you
ain't over there on fots news. See if somebody got
to do a Joy. I was shocked and shout out
to her, thank you, Joy for sharing you. I said
that publicly and properly, thank you, because I want black
people to know I've been doing this. But if y'all
(36:12):
don't never know it, oh man, I wish I had
a witness. If y'all don't never know it, my God
know it. He know it. He been taking an account
the whole time. He been saying the whole time, Revelations
three and twelve, say, I see what you've done. I
see what you did behind closed doors. I'm paraphrasing. I
see that it was you all alone. I see that
you was representing me in the least of these, all alone.
(36:34):
I see that at the end of the day they
will put a crown on your head and they will
know that you were my child all alone the whole time.
I had you the whole time. It wasn't never no
conference call the whole time when they called you and
told you, tesling, don't do it. Why you're doing it?
It ain't making no sense. They did, you selling us out.
(36:54):
You shouldn't be over the whole time. He knew it
because I was never waiting on y'all to confirm nothing
that was told to me. The burning bush told me
what to do. And that's why I don't have to
rush out and say everything and speak on everything and
be the first one who said it. No, I just
(37:16):
drop a little nugget out. I tell the five people
that do follow me, that do rock with me, to say, hey, y'all,
be cause you know Marcells I do it all the time. Hey, y'all,
remember this day. I want you to remember this day
cause I'm gonna bring up don't on Marcellus I ticked
you off. Now watch this, remember this, because I'm gonna
bring this up. Just watch it, and the five people
shout out a cliff and all of y'all, the five
people that do rock with me, put a five in
(37:38):
the chat. If you know how many times I told you,
don't worry, I'm gonna bring it back up. Y'all remember
this day. And it ain't because I'm trying to get
millions to believe me. Just five of y'all, just three hundred,
just three hundred. That's enough for the Gidon's army. I
don't need ten thousand, just three hundred, because I know
how dangerous three hundred can be. So guys, I just
(38:03):
wanted to go ahead. Let you know the real deal
that Jasmine told them get somebody else to do it.
And I don't blame you, Jasmine. But it does not
mean she's not gonna speak truth to power. It does
not mean she's not gonna continue to do what it
needs to be done. It just means she's saying, I'm
gonna take my time and treasure and focus on my
(38:23):
local and that's exactly what I'm telling all of y'all
to do. And if she was doing it for a
leadership role, and she found out she didn't get it. Well,
her heart is broken. But for many of y'all, don't
do it because you're looking for a leadership role, because
I'm here to tell you now, they're gonna break your heart.
If you're in it for that, don't get in it.
Just save yourself the time. But if you are in
it because you actually want to make a difference in
(38:44):
your community, I'm here to let you know He's gonna
help you make a difference. And if you're not a believer,
then don't worry about it. But if you are, a
way's gonna get made. I can tell you I am
a witness. I don't have to be elected for you
to hear my voice. My parents wasn't in the struggle.
Nobody in my family was in the law of politics
(39:05):
or otherwise. I didn't marry nobody in the game. I
didn't sleep with nobody to get in the game. I
didn't sell myself my soul. I didn't crash out. I
didn't sell my black people out. I am here to
tell you that he will take somebody like you and
I and he will elevate your voice. And it don't
mean that it gotta be the millions of people it
could be to just enough. Somebody in the comments put
(39:26):
just enough. So I'm gonna keep telling you to join
me on the training. I'm gonna keep telling you that
I'm making it as affordable as possible. I'm giving y'all
discounts ten dollars off put in. Let's go get in
the training. Especially women, y'all have to be ass ten
fifteen times more than men and black men. We need
(39:52):
you to. Don't ever get that tow us. This ain't ever.
Y'all can't play that shit with me about no divisive gender. Hey,
take it up with your mammy, because I'm not doing
this to pick one gender over the other. I love
us both. But my experience comes to being a black woman,
so I can only tell you about my experience. I
(40:12):
ain't never been a black man, and I don't identify
as one, so I only know how to be a
black woman. Oh, don't have shit to do with gender.
It has to do with me telling you what the
experience has been like in a male dominated field. Everything
I've done has been male dominated, whether it's been sales,
whether it's been in the military, whether it's been in politics,
whether it's been an entrepreneur, it's always more men in
(40:33):
the room, if it's the homies that the function, everything
I've ever done, it's always been more men in the
room to me. So I can only give you my
experience as a woman in male dominated field. So I'm
asking you, I'm encouraging you. I'm gonna keep everything gonna
be about training, because guys, we are asleep at the
(40:55):
wheel we are taking. I'm gonna rest and y'all resting
on everything, And I don't want you resting on your
school board. I don't want you resting on your mayor.
I don't want you resting on your local We just
have to redirect. We have to put an UNO card
on the table, say okay, that's how y'all want to
play it, no problem. Let me go ahead and put
(41:17):
a reverse and let me invest in my community. The
things that you can make a difference, literally, Marcella's right
now in job, transportation, housing, right now, you going to
a meeting next Tuesday, and your local district can make
a difference right now. Still pay attention to the national,
(41:37):
but we need your time and treasure on the local.
