An ideologically divided Supreme Court on July 14 allowed the Trump administration to fire hundreds of workers from the Education Department and continue other efforts to dismantle the agency.

The court's three liberal justices opposed the order, the latest win for President Donald Trump at the high court.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Ask your question real.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Let's just keep it real straight shoyue. With no chasing,
I'm gonna get a little bit ruptured. I'm here for it.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Those who really believed in the American process, all of
us street shot no chase with your girl, Testlim figure
out on the Black Effect podcast network's having everybody.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
It's a Testlim figure out. Marcella's rose be like Lee.
It's been a minute. Even though we've been dropping podcasts,
it seems like it's been a minute, Marcella since we
checked in. So happy to be here. Thank you for
joining me. Oh thanks for having me as all ease.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
I guess because we was doing double time, you know,
two and three episodes a week, so this week just
having one that we dropped this bit of second one.
I guess it feels like it's been a minute. But
I'm very excited to be here again. Always, you know,
grateful to the Black Kids Network giving the opportunity to
have a voice and a platform to stay consistent on

(01:07):
you know what I think is important with a lot
of people. You know, I keep saying this over and
over ourselves.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
It's not a.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You know, I'm not trying to be woe as me
or complain. It's just so much information is out there.
When you are talking about the news and community building,
it's very hard, you know, to stay competitive. I don't
even really want to take competitive because I don't I
don't try to compete with anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
But it's just so much noise.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
As I've been talking about on my Instagram, YouTube has
changed monetization. They keep sending out clarification telling people, oh, no,
we're not going it's not gonna affect yous, and they gone,
it's only gonna affect these for this group and that group,
and all of it is a setup.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
You know, people have to get.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
More and more creative, more and more attention grabbing, more
and more salacious, more and more distraction, in my opinion,
be in ordered just to survive in the YouTube space.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
My show is not on YouTube.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I tried to do it, but never really had the
staff upload the content because in order to really get
a YouTube channel going, people don't understand it's a lot
of work involved in that, you know, uploading cliffs four
or five times a day.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
It is a full time job.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
And as I'm watching so many people you know, get
into it, oversaturated.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
YouTube is now playing.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
With people's money even more so, I am just grateful
for the podcast space. However long this last. If we
close it out in five years, great, it was a
grade five years, and we continue it all for another
five great. I just have to make sure that I
am being consistent, true to myself and who I am.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
This is not an easy sell.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
So those of you who are connected in really want
the information weekly download it.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I can't thank you enough.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
I do know that the more and more politics continues
to become more confusing ourselves, the more and more danger
zone we get into. Unfortunately, people are going to be
looking for information that's accurate, that's just the truth. Yeah,
and it's gonna happen. And this is not me, you know,
waiting on the crash shout, waiting on something bad to happen.
That's what I did, Marcel. I'm just telling you what

(03:15):
it is. People truly, truly, truly do not understand what
is happening. And I will say about this time next year,
people are going to be truly wanting to know where
can I get information that is focused that it's really
going to tell me how to survive. If we just
look at this Epstein thing, you know, Republicans kept saying.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Release the files, release the files. Release. They ran a
whole campaign, release the files.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Release the files. Now, that's how to release the files.
Oh no, that was a democratic answer to release the files.
Trump told them, Hey, y'all stand down on asking.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
About state and they're literally doing it.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
So like Republicans are pissed off about it, Like wait
a minute, you said release the files. Now you said
don't release the file? Did just so y'all know how
I get out. You've never heard me talk about Epstein.
I don't talk about that. I wasn't talking about that then,
not that it wasn't important. I'm just giving you an
example on how I don't just necessarily go with the trends.
I wasn't talking about it then and I'm not talking

(04:13):
about it now. I wasn't talking about a lot of
these cases that you guys want to talk about for
the sensationalism of it all. And then when it's time
to get down the business, we can't talk about that
because we got to talk about this, you know. And again,
I'm not saying that case is not important, Marcella's I'm
just telling you I really am trying to give people
information and I think is going to really affect their
everyday life. And as politics continues to move to the

(04:35):
state level, which is what this show is about today.
As it continues to move to the state level, you're
going to need this information and I am just hyper
focused on it. I want to use this podcast for it.
I want to use my training for it. Anything that
I'm connected to, whether it's Revolt knows, anything else. I
really wanted to be about giving information. So I appreciate
those who rock with me, the people that you know, Hey,

(04:57):
I just want to know where I can get information.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
That's whe we're here for.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And thank you Marcellas for not only being here to
support me through this and being my right hand, but
having a genuine, sincere desire.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
To want to learn that's not easy. Yes, stay too,
I appreciate you. Thank you. Mm hm.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
So I want to talk about I talked about this
earlier on in the season, about the Department of Education dismantling.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I remember a celebrity.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
I want to throw that because I won't see no
shade because I know she didn't mean no harm. But
I remember her making a post saying, you know, hey, guys,
this is just a process relaxed. Remember at the beginning,
when everybody was saying, oh, it's a process, they still
have the balance of powers.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
They still so I just can't do whatever you want
to do.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Well, it looks like if we go into August, Trump
is absolutely.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Doing what do you want to absolutely doing what you
want to do.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
And not only is he only doing what he want
to do. The Supreme Court is supporting.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Him and doing what he want to do.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
His party is supporting him to do what he want
to do. Nobody is bucking the system, and he's doing
what he want to do.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
So he basically doing what you want to do. He's
absolutely doing what he want to do.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
And what I found alarming then is when people say it, oh,
it's a process, Well, it is a process. If there
was something called balance of power, it's not a process.
If you run the Senate and the courts. Yeah, he
controls the process. So now we're seeing in real time

(06:44):
about the Department of Education and the dismantling. And what
I find so scary about this is people have taken
talking points my conservative friends who can't stand democrats, And
I get it.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
I know y'all can't stand democrats. I get it.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
But I really they do need y'all to be able
to look at things objectively and not make everything about
Democrat Republican, LGBT and trans and immigrants. I really really do,
because for the black men to ask me the other day, well,
we need to be in control our education, open up
our own schools anyway, to not even understand that the

(07:21):
Department of Education doesn't even set curriculum and have nothing
to do with the curriculum. For me to say whether
ending the civil rights violation department and he says what
civil rights? For black men to ask what civil rights
is very alarming, and I know where they're getting the
information from. Marcella's A lot of these YouTubers are saying, Hey, guys,

(07:42):
don't worry about it. Ain't nobody taking out that's just Democrats,
Democrat talking points.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Nobody's taking our rights. We still got our rights. They
don't know what they're talking about, and ultimately they're setting
up their own constituents that are gonna need it more
than anybody setting them up with failure.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Because they don't know the real answer to give them
real solutions. They just say, nobody's taking our nineteen sixty
five rights. Well, let's say Marcella's I agree with that,
nobody's taking it. Fine, I don't have to go with
the Hey, guys, they're gonna take it. We don't even
have to go with that. Let's just land on what

(08:26):
makes you think, Marcella's that just because we have rights.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Means that people don't violate it? Right?

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah, where's the disconnect with that. It's like having an
apple and I say nobody's taking my apple. Does that
mean that ain't nobody gonna try to snatch it or
try to take it or bite into it or damage it.
Or why are y'all thinking because we have the right.
They've convinced you that, because we have the right, that
nobody's violating rights. And for a black man to not

(08:56):
understand that, especially in a school system that over penalizes
black boys more than anybody, more than anybody. It's why
doctor Ulmar, whether y'all agree with him or not, or
if he ever go get to school or not get
to school, one of the things he talks about is
the high percentages of black boys with ADHD and the

(09:17):
behavior issues that come along with ADHD and getting expelled
and expended it suspended, suspending. He believes there's other healthy ways,
you know, to manage that besides putting kids on riddling.
But black boys are suspended and expelled more than anybody.
It's one reason why guys, make sure you go listen
to the episode we dropped this week with doctor Perry

(09:38):
and I about higher education. It's the reason why a
lot of black boys don't even make it pass high
school because they don't believe because they were taught at
school that they couldn't learn, that they were slow, that
they were dumb, that maybe because of dyslexi or ADHD,
or behavior issues or something that's going on at home,
or maybe not even having a meal in the berey

(10:01):
to be able to focus that when they barely get
through high school. Not saying our girls too, but I'll
seeking specifically about black boys. So they barely make it
through high school.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Yeah, let me just get a trade, something faster to learn,
not saying necessarily easier, but doesn't require, you know, let
me get six months or a year.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Or you know, not the long four year path you
know to actually finish a college degree. Let me just
work with my hands, work with my body, not where
I actually have to read information. A lot you know
comprehend it, not saying you don't in trades, but you
give my point. A lot of people can do with
their hands, but not with their mind. The black man's

(10:49):
body has always.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Been a top commodity. You know, I'm big on trade.
I'm always talking a trade. I think we need trade programs.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Back into the school, I was upset that Jada didn't
have access to cognitology, you know the way that I did.
I think it's very important, cosontology, homemack. She'd have a
home ack, welding mechanics. I'm with all that, Marcellus, But
what I'm seeing now with this overwhelming anti degree pro trade,

(11:27):
you definitely be pro trade, but the anti degree of
saying well.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
You don't need it at all.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Now it has given conspiracy at this point. Now, you
know what I'm saying now is given. No, we just
want you and skilled labor only. Yeah, now, we only
want you to do jobs that you can't do past
fifty because you're gonna have arthritis problems, need problems, back problems.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
You know now was given now was given slave option
at this point.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yeah, because why they don't want y'all to have degrees
and be a doctor our lawyer on account at our cps.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
You know, are something long term? Why they don't want
you in books? Like what is this anti book movement
going on?

Speaker 3 (12:11):
They got you so focused on the right now that
you're not looking at long term. My ex husband called
this week, he said, tells, and I'm finally I remember
quite well when we got married and he was making
two hundreds some thousand dollars a year later on our marriage,
not right at the beginning. I remember him teasing people saying,
you know, I make more than that, and he got

(12:31):
a degree. There was a real animosity, you know now
going back and you know, looking because I was finishing
my degree at that time, and I remember we had
friends that you know, had agreed said yeah, I'm making
more to him.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
And he got a degree and I'm making more to him.
And it gave him a lot.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Of pride to say that. It made him feel really accomplished.
And he was making more than him at that time.
And at that time he was working for a company
that was a private company that was doing really well.
It was the ACME out right before the bubble pop,
so they was rolling making money. Jef was making money.

(13:09):
Then when the bubble pop and shit got real and
he had to go in corporate space, take his mechanic
skills and go to Sears. Stayed at Serious about ten years.
I guess until Sears shut down. And then now with
FedEx major corporation, it's probably gonna be around for a minute.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
You know.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Don't seem like they're going anywhere. He's a mechanic, he's
a manager over the fleets. But guess what he cannot promote?
He said, chesn't I finally see what you're saying. Even
if I wanted my boss's job, if my boss left tomorrow,
and I know I'm the best that they got, they
send me all around the company to train other people.

(13:51):
I know I'm absolutely the best, he said. Even if
I wanted his job, I couldn't have it because I
don't have a degree. Because he said, even for the mechanics,
I said, that's how they get you out the system.
He said, I've gone as far as he's been there
eight years. He said, I literally can't go any higher

(14:12):
in the company because I don't have a degree.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Now I'll be like, okay, now I see why.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
He kind of snappy and kind of bitter, you know,
not being funny, but you know, being for real. Yeah,
that's disappointing. Doctor Berry talked about the other day. You
can work your job ten years, know you better know you.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
You know. Men, and you be like, well, what about that?
Ain't fair? Don't work like that. It ain't set up
to be fair.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
And at truth be told, if you want to be
fair about it, that person that went and made that
sacrifice as somebody else didn't make. It's fair that they
get a better opportunity. That's why they made sacrifice.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Because they can learn what they need to on the job.
But you decided to not go learn what they learned
in college. So they went and learned it, and now
they're gonna come learn your job and get put over you.
I see it happening all the time. That's right. So
what y'all mad about?

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Because fedeg's a sustainable company, they're gonna have those type
of guidelines in place for a reason, not because he's
not the smartest, or he can't do the job, or
you know, he can't do it as good. That's not
why marce Ellis is set up to make sure that
wipe men. Let me just name it. That's what it is. Yeah,

(15:35):
we don't mind you working on the cars. We don't
mind you training us how to do it.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
But we're gonna be at the top.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
And even though they'll say, if you're gonna have a
degree in LOUI will degree your experience.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
They say that, but that's not you either. They gonna
go that person they had a degree.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Well, because I'm gonna go with the most qualified person.
So you can say, in LOUI, but the lou ain't
gonna cotch you because somebody that got it don't have
to be and Lou Yeah, that's true. And it's gonna
go to the most qualified person allegedly, especially if I
don't want you there anyway.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
And if I can say, well, you know what, you
almost but you're gonna ad a degree.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
And Lou Love don't cut it in twenty twenty five.
That's what I'm trying to tell you. You got to
have it all.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
It don't cut all the boxes. Man.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
I'm in the whole law school and sitting up here, like, man,
I really like that project management. That's a certificate. I
always wanted certify project management. I just do because I
just see it so much. There's like on so many
different jobs. You just have to have that certificate, and
I'm like, damn, I wonder if I can fit this
in in my first Now I'm sitting up here going
for a JD and I'm still like, I wonder if

(16:51):
I get you know, because I'm just always shut to
think about what can be the next, you know, thing
on the list. If I got to shut this down tomorrow,
what's the next thing on the list that's like a
four month program? You know, when I'm still like, man,
I wonder if I can. Okay, well, let me hold
it off to my second year, but let me finish
them four hours and four extra classes, because you know,

(17:12):
I started in political science for the graduate certificate, so
I can teach it in college.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Say, and again, it's not always about the money.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
If you look at college professors, to be a part
time adjunct three hour class, I may make three four
thousand dollars for the whole semester total.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Thousand dollars a month. Yeah, why you're looking confused. I
thought that Ray william one.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
That I'm talking about, Like it's an adjunct, you know,
part time. Let's just say I'm teaching one class a week.
You get paid by the credit hour. I'm not talking
about that. You can be full time professor, tenured what
they call, you know, make more. But I'm saying if
I want to go keep part time at a community
college with a master's degree, you might make Let's just say,

(18:01):
you know, your three hour class, so you're paid, you know,
by the credit hour. So let's say the credit hour
is you paid five hundred dollars. So if you're doing
nine credit hours, you know, I'm just giving you real rate.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
It ain't like it ain't no like you're gonna be
rolling in the dough.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
So if you do nine credit hours and let's say
they're paying five hundred with they or not, but that's
forty five hundred dollars a semester's three months, you know,
so that's averaging. You know, twelve fifteen is a part
time job. Twelve fifteen hundred dollars a month. And the
only reason why I'm even interested in that is because

(18:39):
if you ever want the full time, you gotta start there.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
You know what I mean, you gotta get in it.
It's hard to get in the system.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Y'all keep believing that if y'all want to the Department
of Education, the Supreme Court say yeah, go ahead and
do your thing.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
We won't be stopping nothing. So just so y'all know,
the administration officials have already begun the process to transfer
a certain things of other agent agencies. Now this is
where the bring it to the states. Bring it to
the states.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Y'all better learn your state constitution, start reading it right now.
I started refreshing myself on Florida right now because I'm
going extra heavy with veterans in Florida.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
So I was reading all the statutes all day. Matt fact,
don't believe me. You can't up. They can't see see
what I'm doing. But you know I even put it.
They can't see anything, but I'll drop it here in
the chat just so you know I got it up.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
It's like literally got it. I've been reading this all day.
Let me see where all the statutes are Veterans, this that,
all of that.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Let me see.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Let me see what's going on. Y'all better really understand
like what's getting ready to happen because their method, the
Reagan Ronald Reagan method. If you don't like how your
state get out, get out of here, it's literally set
up that way. We're gonna move all of you liberals
on one side of the country and all the conservatives
on the other side of the country. And we don't
care if your broke cousin can't afford to move, Oh

(19:57):
well they're gonna be under You know this this type
of you know, leadership, this type of citizenship, like when
people laughing at Florida's black people.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
That live in Florida as well. So the main things
that people need to know is.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
And then you know, the misinformation for people are saying, well,
we need to start our own schools. We're already paying
the money for the taxes and you're not just gonna
start a school with our state interferance. Gotta stop with
the bullshit that don't even homeschool. You didn't even do that,
You don't even work on their homework. And yes, we
do need our own schools. Go as doctor Steve Perry,
how hard it is for him to open on one
of his schools. I'm working with him on a case

(20:37):
right now. They don't let you just come do that either.
You gotta fight the government for that. You gotta go
down to the state. You gotta get approval, you know
what I mean, People just be talking Marcella's like literally
just be talking. He still has to be approved through
the through the state legislature to open up a school.

(20:58):
So getting our own schools, yes, that's important, but the
federal government was there to make sure that stuff stay balanced.
In a nutshell, and it's very concerning to know that
your federal protections are civil rights. If your state don't
believe in civil rights, like of Florida, they say, stop

(21:19):
being victims.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
It is what it is. You don't have the big
cousin federal to call anymore. Kind of like EOC. I'll
use that exam.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Most people are familiar with EEOC, even though EOC don't
always do what we want to do. They don't always
do the job right. I got complaints to EOC. Everybody
got can place to EOC. But at least they're there. Yeah, okay,
well let me go to the Equal Employment that's a
federal program. When you talk about removing federal oversight and
you just gonna let the Santas handle it in Florida,

(21:49):
tell me what that's.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Gonna look like. He ain't gonna get the EEOC.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Yeah, they're not playing hmm, So guys, in a nutshell,
the lawsuit was challenging Trump was not dismantling it, and
the Supreme Court said, no, that's okay, we're gonna go
ahead and go will he say yeah? So within an
hour of the Supreme Court ruling, workers were fired from

(22:19):
the Education Department. They received an email from the department
and formed in their last day will be August first.
Now you know you're big on warnings. That's about much
notice they got. I don't think that passed the test
for you. August first. That's not much note as you get, yeah, man,
you've been working at fifteen twenty years.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
That you don't have no job in two weeks. Now
let him didn't even let him retire?

Speaker 3 (22:53):
Yeah, and then people say, oh, they'll get severance okay
for six months and then what after?

Speaker 2 (22:58):
What what happened after that job? They're going to.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
People that's been working in government job like, where do
they go after that? To another department of education. It's
not like oh, I work at KROGAAN and I can
just go work at publics. That's not a transferable skill
like that. They'll find something, I guess, but let's look
at the unemployment rate. Where are the job's at. People

(23:23):
don't understand what's happening. Mar I said, like this is
I'm telling y'all. Now, that's why I'm telling y'all. Now,
if you follow me on Instagram, I've been heavy on
that veteran cause, Baby, I'm going I'm ducking for couple.
I'm just selling y'all right now, I'm pulling every program
that I possibly can. I keep telling y'all the three
things y'all need to do. Y'all better start figuring this out.

(23:44):
This ain't no scare tactic. Let it be a scare
tactic though Mart says, I'm cool, fearmonged, whatever it is.
Start figuring this out, guys, because they're not playing. They
are not playing.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
We need more people running for school board.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
We need more black men, especially like this is the
times and y'all say, let's do it ourselves.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
Well, this is the time. Get involved.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
If you in Atlanta, hey, keep your ass in Atlanta,
you know what I mean, Like and stay involved in y'all.
Mayor and make sure he can get whatever fund that
he can and contribute and donate it.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Like you gonna really have to take care of you know,
like real talk.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
You have to really figure out, like where am I
gonna be in the best position for me, and I
had two states to choose where I could have went
to Southern and Louisiana. And I'm so glad I chose
Florida because now that I'm exercising my veteran benefits. And
I never really flexed on before, you know, because I

(24:46):
had a ford proper business, so I didn't, you know,
look for grants and loans, and I was competitive, you know,
doing what I was doing. I didn't look for those things.
But now, huh no, we're gonna and we're gonna go
ahead and take advantage of their veteran preference in Florida
and Texas to states that are very beter and friendly.

(25:07):
They're not only required that half veteran preference would say
you must at least interview me for the job. Mandatory
guaranteed the interview if it's better in preference, and then
in my skills are the same.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Meet your skills, guess who you gotta hire me.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
Now, it's hard to prove if they didn't, but you
can play that game, you know, we can find out,
you know what I mean, So you might just want
to go ahead and go with it. But also, Marcellus,
what's the key word if my skills, meet and exceed
the job. See if it did not, then I wouldn't
get the preference. This is why you need all.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
The shit at the table.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
Yeah, so that way all the boxes can be checked.
I applied for a little part time gig in the
college because I want to get into the college system,
and you gotta interview me guarantee. I know, dann well
my background for this particular job that I applied for,
I know I'm overqualified. So now now it's a matter
of if you don't have no choice. You see what
I'm saying. I put myself in the best position because

(26:12):
a lot of times I don't get jobs because I'm overqualified.
Beause y'all do know that exists somebody? Oh, I don't
want to give it a job because I know she
ain't gonna want this job. She's gonna stay here long.
Why would she want a part time job as a
part time teacher? You know, da da da well, veteran status,
you can't do that. Don't worry about what I'm doing.
Just know that you I'm a veteran. Thank you for
my service, and go and tell my start day.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
I love it. That's called big dog.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Called big dog I love it, and that's that's what
I'm talking about. It's not about the money. Is it
about the money in that situation. No, it's the stability.
It's saying, hey, all this fails, I got me a
part time gig. Y'all, ain't gotta like me walking in.
You can roll your eyes everything. I when I came
back from face to train, they couldn't stand it. Dad
to give my job back. When I came back to

(27:00):
people as mad as hell. All you can have to
do is go to base of training and you too.
There was a mag there to hold my position. I
didn't like that because I'm sure it's some of y'all.
I'm waiting on you to say. I'm waiting on you
to say what ain't fair. I'm sure waiting on shooting
these veteran these been because I'm sure waiting on you

(27:22):
to say it ain't fair, like you said about the
kids and say about the union. I look forward to
you fixing your man talking about what ain't fair for
no veteran. I don't get out the way so we
can get it out the way. No, because all you

(27:42):
gotta do is go get you a bulletproof.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Vest, and you too, put the biggest union in the game.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Oh y'all want to do that part? Yeah, that's all
I gotta do. I gotta do is raise your hand
and solemnly sweat, and then you too. You can't get
veteran preference. Fucky don't need something. But he don't know
what the big deal about veterans.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Are you serious?

Speaker 3 (28:12):
He understand divine nine, but not the baby we got
whole cemeteries, whole days. The ragged as this culture is.
Don't you get it? Twisted and confused?

Speaker 2 (28:23):
He don't understand the I guess that he was.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
He did a story I always tell Himbout because he
did a story about the woman that lied and said
she was a Delta and a veteran. He's like, I
understand why she did that. She was running, Bob, But
I don't understand veteran. You don't understand why somebody running
will want to say they're a veteran. It's the highest
level of service that you can possibly give called your life.
You think it's stopping the yard beats, that you getting

(28:48):
customer search, you getting community service? Twisted with a veteran
the highest honor. That's why I love it. On Foster
when I say, well, I'm a veteran, thank you for
your So they got to shut it down immediately.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
And say they say, she's a girl.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
I love it when you say that because whatever, they
got to shut it down immediately. They ain't said it,
but you gotta say it as.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
A veteran with thank you for your service? And yeah, right,
should I be saying in the common just stay me
for my service and move on? Yeah, just stay me
for my service. It's a white come. You can't hide

(29:37):
under that ship. You can't hide under it. I'm not riding. No,
I'm staying.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
I'm standing by it proudly. So yeah, the shield shall
couple me. Oh yes, now takes me for my service
and go sit down somewhere. Yeah, that's hilarious. Well, guys

(30:02):
were laughing about it. Keep from crime whatever, rock petition.
I'm very concerned about this. The Department of Education, we'll
keep following it. Make sure you subscribe to the my
subscribe a sign up to the training. We have our
next training on July fifteenth, how to build your Life. Yes, sir,
we're going to keep pushing this training through through all five.

(30:25):
I don't know what the next one is going to be.
Because you know, I started law school. But it'll be
within sixty days. Because Marcella's said, Harry, I keep going.
We want to whoever show up, just show up. But
I do want to push it. I know we will
be done with four and five by the end of
the year for sure, you know, because I want to
make sure that all five are there and then kick off.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
The new year with the the webinars.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
A lot of people just want to know specialized stuff
because you know, that's how we think.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
They don't want no basic foundation, They just want to
go straight to well, how do you debate? I don't
want nothing about none of the other stuff, because that's
just how we think.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
But I got at least offer the five so that
it's there, because I believe foundation development and learning and
those who want.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
To go through the real process, those lessons will be
there for you.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
And then in January, when I really have a good
tackle on my work, you know, my course work and
all of that, that's when we can at the very
least do a webinar and then in the summer kick
off those pop up events. Definitely want to kick off
those pop up events, even if I just do three
next year or two, you know, two in the summer.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Like we have the town hall.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
That's very you know, that's worth it and very important
and we had a great time. So but we needed
to get the training division going and in Florida very excited.
It won't be something done immediately, but just giving you
guys hiss up. I am going to focus heavy on
still access, you know, still doing what I do, Still
access to all you civilians. But I'm tired of trying

(31:51):
to tell Zavillians and stop acting me to act like
a Saviian.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
I'm a veteran.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
I am gonna focus on veterans, hyper focus on veterans,
job readiness, all the things that I do, civic engagement training.
There's a lot of opportunities for me to do that
on the local level in Orlando, and so you'll be
merged in, you know, as I go with that process
as well, because again, as I talk about in business
Marcella's you've got to get your target market, you got

(32:16):
to get your target market. And in Florida, as I'm
doing this training and rolling that out and getting my
veteran owned business like I had before when I was
in Florida, going back and getting all the things that
I had to lead. I'm now in a position to
really focus on the training and all the things that
I want to do before, and the staffing and the
placement and all of that. But I want to hyper

(32:37):
focus on veterans because right now, I'm gonna be honest
with you, they're stripping veterans benefits.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
They done got to they taking veteran benefits.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
If you see how they treating our nonprofits, and they
treating our veterans already like trash.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
So the best thing that I can even possibly think to.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Get, you know, any type of contract or outreach would
be better terans really at this point, because they don't
give a damn a bat what's going on with the seniors.
They don't give a damn babble's going on with the kids,
and don't give a damn babble what's going on with
the veterans.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
I'm giving y'all a real deal.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
We gotta, you know, kind of shit, pivot a little bit.
Let's go to where we think we can be the
most successful. And I'm a veteran on business, a black
owned business, obviously, a female owned business. I had all
these things going for me when I was in Florida.
Before I just didn't really push a line on it
like I can now. Before you know, it was just
I was for private business staff and did some training.
But now yeah, we're going to hyper focus on that.

(33:34):
So get ready to be side by side. Were plenty
of veteran folks because I gotta get a target market
of people want veteran people are civically engaged people. They
want to be engaged, they want to learn the process.
That's a great customer client for me.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
I bring them in.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
I gotta worry about them talking about, oh, you're so rough.
They already aligned, you know with how I talk and
how I move and the expectations and so civilian, y'all
better tighten it up. Are you gonna be left where
you stand? Because I mean what I say. I'm serious
about guys making sure we get the tools. We gotta
get somebody that's willing to push the line. And I

(34:11):
gotta find those.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Three hundred people.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
And if it's not three hundreds of billions, if it's
one hundred fifty of visis one hundred fifty, whatever it is,
Marcelli's I gotta go get them because I know they're there.
God has giving me the vision I brought three hundred
before several times, and I'm gonna do it again.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
And that's it, and that's all. It don't have to
be thousands and millions in the masses. We just really
need to get a group of people that can make
a difference. And Florida needs help more than anybody, So
let's get busy. And we're not more than anybody. We
all needs to help with Florida definitely. You know, got
some challenges that we can address, so let's get to it.
Marcello's thank you so much as everybody for joining me.

(34:48):
I try to be a negative, nasty guys. I'm just
giving you the information. I don't know no other way
to be.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Marcelle. I can't come in there playing and laughing and joking.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Because I just I see what's ahead, I see what's
the head and I just want you all to be prepared.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
So we'll see y'all next time. Y'all, please peece.
