Speaker 1 (00:08):
I don't want to ask your question real.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Let's just keep it real, straight shot with no chasing.
I'm gonna get a little bit rougherre. I'm here for it.
Those who really believed in the American process, all of.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Us straight shot, no chase, what's your girl tesselor figure out?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
On the Black Effect Podcast Network atwork? What was having
everybody it's your girl tesla figure out? Straight shot, no chaser,
straight shot, no chase of podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Tapping in for the very last time of the season
invited some special folks into this recording. So thank you
for popping in. I said, somebody said, I always wonder
what you look like. I'm all over the internet, so
what are you talking about? What are you talking about?
But I wanted to pop in give you guys an

(00:55):
update on how everything's been going. Also give you an
update on uh the podcasts and what I am doing next.
First of all, I want to thank you guys for
five years of support on the Black and Fit podcast network.
You guys have just been phenomenal with supporting making sure
that yeah we're.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Bare face, we bear face tonight, bare face tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
So anyway, wanted to thank you guys for your support
for five the last five years. Shout out to charlemagnea
God for starting Blackfit podcast Network and inviting me as
one of the original OG's.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
That started the podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
So I wanted to give you guys an update on
what is happening with that because this is the last
episode of this season and I am going to take
a little bit of.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
A break to reorganize.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
You guys know that I'm in law school now, so
really excited about that journey. And for those of you
who are asking how is law school going? I did
the last couple of episodes, I've been talking about how
law school was going.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
But I am happy to answer your questions.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
So as far as the podcast is concerned reorganizing, how
I'm doing that. Everything to me right now is about information.
There are two hundred million, somebody say two hundred million,
two hundred million content creators right now. The game in
my opinion and respectfully to everybody, but the game is oversaturated.

(02:27):
Everybody has a podcast. Everybody seems to be talking about
the same things. Relationship fifty to fifty? What about Trump?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
What about this? What about that? Everybody's all of a
sudden become political analysts.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Grasping for straws, doing anything they can to get people
to click because the market is so competitive.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
That's just the fact, guys.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
No, not two million, two hundred million, Yeah, two hundred
million content creators. That's how many people. And then I'm
talking about worldwide that are saying, oh, all you had
to do is uploaded. I believe there's four million an
actual podcasts, but content creators, people who are uploading information

(03:06):
on the net. We are in a digital space, and
so many of you just say, you know what, I'm
just going to be a content creator. So there is
so much information out there, and in order to get
people to subscribe, they tapped in. You have to constantly
constantly put out content. You have to constantly be competitive.

(03:27):
And this is why you see people who were once
talking about finance now talking about relationships. Now they're talking
about politics, now they're talking about this. They just said
whatever they can say to get people to tap in.
Because the market is oversaturated. It just is what it is.
That's not hating, you know, by all means do all

(03:48):
of the content and the podcasts and everything you want
to do. I'm certainly going to continue my podcast with
trade shoting on Chaser, but I am changing my structure.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
So the new.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Structure will be how to with tism Figuro and every
single podcast, every.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Single one will be a training. I only want to
give you guys information.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Of course, I still will talk about the news, because
I talk about the news, I will still tie in
those stories.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
But moving forward, every single one will be a training.
But it won't just be me. So for example, last week.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
We had how to start your All Black History Saturday's program.
We had Christy come on and tell you step by
step how to start your All Black History Saturdays.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
A couple of weeks ago, I had a.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Teacher, Aisha Robinson, talk about how to survive your first
year in being a first year teacher. So this is
not a unique you know, training is not a unique
thing in podcasting space. It's certainly not something you haven't
heard before, you haven't seen. But I want to make
sure that everything I'm doing, if it's from podcasts, if

(04:53):
it's law school, if it's the Push the Line training,
should I to got for those of you who have
been part of the Push the Line training.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Every the thing that I'm doing is about giving you
guys information.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
We have so much of people talking about the problems,
and I don't think enough people talking about the solutions.
So I want to dedicate all of my time anytime
I'm on this microphone of actually giving you real solutions.
So the new podcast will be how To, which has
some figure over, but it won't just be me, It'll
be everybody coming in. If you have a product, if

(05:25):
you have something you want to tell people how to
do by all means, you know, saying a DM Marcella's
will be reaching out to you, not me, but will
shout out to Marcello's. Yah, So Marcellus in love and
we'll bet you and see if you will be a
good person to come.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
On and talk about how To. We really want to
make sure we're giving people information, and we're giving people
information too. Many of these people on these podcasts and
on these microphones are talking just to talk. They just
talking about the same thing and they're not giving information.
Shout out to those of you I.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
See my one of my favorite favorite favorite line pushes
in the building, Chris.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Shout out to her. She's attended last push the line training.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
If you have nine guys, you are missing a treat,
you really really are. You're not gonna get that type
of content for forty bucks two hour webinar. You can
go back and watch the replay any questions you have,
and you can always go into the community discussion mord
ask questions as one that's access one on one with me.
The first training was about roles responsibilities, the second training

(06:24):
was about how to organize your coalition, and then the
third one was actually me giving you a plan, a
step by step plan somebody put plan, not a podcast,
not an episode, not yet another panel, but an absolute plans,
step by step on how to get your strategy, how
to implement it, how to build your coalition. It is

(06:45):
a really really really really really good training, if I
must say so myself, if you're wondering, Chris and anybody
else who has been a part of the training, I
am pausing and letting the three.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Courses marinate before we go to four and five. One.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I'm getting everything reorganized in my life as far as
school is concerned, still relocating all of my things to Orlando.
So I want to make sure that I'm doing, you know,
all things decent in order, and we need people to
be able to catch up so that they can attend
training four and five.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
So we will get four and five out the way,
but the main three that people need, they're available in
their on demand. And I want to be honest, if
people don't want to if we don't have enough people
signed enough for four, then we just won't be doing four.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
We will do it when there's enough interest and people
want to move forward. So I'm not no snake or salesman.
I'm not trying to push nothing.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
On you to y'all don't want. If you don't want information,
don't get the information.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
It makes sense to you by and by If you
do want the information, and we got a decent enough
class that's willing to invest in it, then yeah, we'll.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Move forward before four or five.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
You know, Marcella said he don't care about two of
y'all show up, but somebody let in Marcello's know. I
don't work for one hundred dollars, So just let oursels know,
y'all let them know on the chat right now.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
I don't work for one hundred dollars, and I'm I'm
may no mistake about it, I may. I want to
be very clear about it.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I don't work one hundred dollars, So we can't just
have two people showing up because that's only one hundred
dollars at BESS, and I don't work four hundred dollars
now when I'm giving you my skill that I actually
charged two hundred and fifty dollars an hour four So
that's just what it is.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
If you don't like it, take it up on the mainline.
Call Jesus on the main line. Now. If you want
the free information, tap me into the podcast because it's free.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I give you all information all the time, but when
it's one on one training. I didn't go get my
master's an adult education for nothing. I didn't get all
this experience for twenty some years for nothing. I didn't
carry all of these wins on my belt for nothing.
So no one when I said we're gonna be doing
it for no fifty dollars, it's not going to happen.
But you certainly can sign up to the podcasts. You
certainly can sign up to the podcast and you get

(08:44):
all the free information you want. But if you want
the at the training, the one on one, yes, it's
a cost, it's fifty bucks. It's a ten dollar coupone
out there call let's go. That gets you forty bucks.
If you can't afford it after that, then I guess
the training just sain't for you. But the good news
is I am reorganized of my business as well to
back to veteran own and catering to veterans. So once

(09:05):
we get all of those programs together, it will many
of these.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Trainers will be free. Somebody say, amen, So many of.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
These trainers will be free, but that's probably gonna be
next year once we get all of the veteran stuff
in place. So, guys, I just wanted to give you
an update on where I am with things, where things
are with the podcast When you think of me, think
of training and resources, push the line podcasts every now
and then.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I like the Populin Foughts news just to let y'all
know I still got it, just to pop that collar.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
But if it ain't about law school, if it ain't
about training, if it ain't, then I ain't with it.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Y'all can do. Y'all got the rest of it. Y'all
can do the rest of it. Now.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Law school has been phenomenal, guys, absolutely phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
I am enjoying it. I am enjoying my class.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
I want to go ahead and be honest about some things,
and be honest about some things. There were over two
thousand plus applications, one hundred and thirty or so. Less
than one hundred and forty got accepted. And if I
had to guess, maybe twelve or thirteen black men. I

(10:14):
know y'all don't want to hear that. I know y'all say,
just go get a trade. But guys, we need more
black men in the space.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
We really do. It's majority black women, it really is.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
And this ain't no dish, and this ain't no somebody,
just get a trade. We got enough carpenters, and we
could always say and to get more carpenters. But one
thing we don't have is enough black attorneys. Let me
give you the numbers. There are five million people right now,
five million adults that are in the pen penitentiary, jail, probation,

(10:47):
or parole, under some level of supervisor, correction, for supervision.
There are two million of the five million who are black.
Somebody comment half half.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
And I'm not talking about felleries. I'm talking about who
are actually under supervisors, correction, supervisors, some type of supervision.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Five million adults, two million blacks. Guess how many attorneys
we have Black attorneys?

Speaker 2 (11:18):
In America sixty.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Seven thousand, we only have sixty seven thousand black attorneys.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
That means men and women, sixty seven thousand.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
We don't even have one hundred thousand black attorneys, not
even one hundred thousand black attorneys. And there are over
three million attorneys. But we do have four million podcasters
though we do have two one hundred million worldwide, and

(11:51):
when something at black just in general content creators. So
I think we need to do some about these numbers.
They need to do some about these numbers. And in
order to go to law school, yes you need.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Your bachelor's degree.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Having being having a black attorney that understands how to
apply the law, advocate for you, negotiate for you, understand
your life experiences, has everything to do with how you
beat that case, if it's criminal, how you negotiate that contract,

(12:28):
if you're in business, how you protect your copyright, whatever
it is. Because there's something that we talk about about
being a reasonable person, and being a reasonable person has
everything to do with my life experience.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
So if you are sitting across from a white man
attorney that has no cultural competency, that makes a difference.
That's why all these high.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Profile cases, y'all see to the high and white, except
y'all call us for the police brutality. But when it
comes to the contracts, when it comes to the shakedown,
when to come that, y'all call these white boys respectfully.
And I can't even mad about it because there's only
sixty seven thousand black people.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
So it's not like they got a lot of options.
But some of y'all eat, y'all.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Skip over the black women because y'all think the white
man's ice is colder. So, guys, it's real and really
really important that this is the type of information I'm
giving you. And even if you don't go to law school,
everything I learn I'm trying to pass on to you

(13:33):
so that you can at least have the knowledge to
know what to look for, to know when something's not
looking quite right. And I'm going to use the podcasts
in order to do that. Now, if you ask for
one on one consultant, it's gonna caution. But the information
that I can give you that I'm trying to give
as much information as I possibly can. I'm going to
continue to give you that information, but even more because

(13:55):
the more I learn, the more I'm passing it on
to you.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
So all of this is important. Guys all, this is important.
Before I get out of here, put a five in
the chat. Y'all tell me. Have y'all been loving this Gavenussum.
I've been on I man, I've been on this, Gavenuel.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
And again before y'all stop going Gavenus of trash. He
messed up California. This has nothing to do with if
you like Gavenuss's policies. What I like is Gavenussom bringing
this same troll leenergy to Donald Trump as Donald Trump
has brought to everybody else, and I love it.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
I've been laughing my ass off all week.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
I literally when I want to laugh, and it's just
because I find it kind of suff funny.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Y'all may not find it funny, but when I want
to laugh, I literally go look at those sweets and
I literally laugh out loud.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
It's hilarious. I hear Trump's voice saying it. I can
visualize it. It is hilarious. Shout out to the Latino
woman who is over his social media.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Because that was brilliant. That was just absolutely brilliant. It's
landing where well, it is just absolutely hilarious.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
I can't get more. I can't get enough of it.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
It's hilarious. It's hilarious gold Gavin Newsom. And you don't
have to like him, you don't have to like his policies.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
I don't think he would be elected in the electoral college.
I think he's too far left leading. But I do
think he needs to run a president. I absolutely think
he's run president, because remember, running is not always about winning,
it's about putting ideas on the table, having debate.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
And I think he will be great.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
And if you don't believe me, go back and watch
him him the debate with him and DeSantis. He brings
that energy that they need because contrary to pop belief,
even though y'all.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Keep saying black women gonna save it, you, we need
white man on white men violence. Left the white, let
the white those let them fight this out.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
And so Gavin to me is the perfect uh counter
with that same white man energy. So that's just my
pay And again I know somebody in here because he
follows me on the page. You always like to make
the point that Gavin is trash, and we got it.

(16:06):
I'm not talking about if you like adding. I'm not
talking about if you like Gavan I'm telling me, if
you like his policy, I'm talk about any of that.
What I'm talking about is I like the petty energy.
I've been waiting on some Democrats somewhere to deliver the
petty energy that Trump has been running the table on
this guys.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
So I'm just enjoying the show. I'm enjoying the show.
So any questions that you have before I get out
of here, I just wanted to tap me in.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Having seen you guys in a minute, don't really open
up the studio that often for you guys to come in,
So I just wanted to tap in, guys to let
you know everything's going well.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Please make sure you continue not just to follow my page, but.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
As you can see, I'm managing editor for Revolte News,
so that's really important guys, so follow that page as
well because some of the posts you see on my
page because I collaborate on my pay but every day
we're curating fifteen to twenty stories that I think you
should know about. So you would do me a great
a great service by going to revolve News, clicking follow,

(17:13):
and just going through and clicking like on those stories
so that we can just keep the engagement going, I
would greatly appreciate it. So between Revolt News doing my
black job there, between Straight Shot No Chasing, which will
now have a new name and we'll be rolling out
the art and all of that, between Push the Line,
and between just you and me just supporting me. I

(17:36):
appreciate you guys. Any questions, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Chris. Isn't that Ditty's old company? Yes, it is, it is.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
He's no longer the chairman, he's no longer connected, but
the vision of.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Why he started it is still there, alive and well,
mister Turner, So yes it is.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
It absolutely is. And his vision was to have a
news sector with in Revolt. I was with Revolt before
all the things happened with Diddy, and I'm gonna be
there now and I'm standing on it. I'm absolutely standing
on it because just because the man failed doesn't mean
the vision has to die. Let me say it one
more time.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Just because the.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Man failed in whatever area you think he failed in,
the vision is alive and well. And the vision is
to make sure that we have black centered, black curated
black producers, black camera, black on black on black on
black that is actually curating news.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
And being criticable while doing it.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
So yes, any other questions, and I stand on that
you wish somebody will question me about it? I know
you not, but I'm just saying I wish somebody will
question me about it.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
I wish somebody will question me about it.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Because too many times, even when we are disappointed, you know,
within our culture. Let me let me, do anybody need
a word? Can I give you a word before I
get out of here? You know, even when people when
people disappoint us, because regardless of however you see it,
did he disappoint in many of us.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
But the vision is.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Still alive and well. The vision is still alive and well.
And I want to say this to y'all because I
hear a lot of y'all say.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
You know, Black people don't unify and we don't know
how to stick together, we don't know. Let me go
ahead and tell you that the devil is alive.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
There is no other no other race, none, no other
race that has unified more than Black people. And just
because you and your raggedy circle, you and your fifteen people, your.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Point of reference, you and what you sing on social
media and.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Those negative ass postess is not a reflection of what
black people have done for the last.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Four hundred years.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
So my generation and the generations after me, we may
not be as.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Tight as we should. But can I remind you that only.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Black people were the only ones that unified to get
us out of slavery, the only ones that unified to
get civil rights, the only ones that said, you know what,
if we got to sing a heimn to figure out
how to get to the Promised Land, We're.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Gonna do it. You know what, if we gotta go
through the underground railroad to figure out how we're gonna
get to Chicago, we gonna do it. You know what,
even though they beating us, taking everything from us, We're
gonna figure out how to steal work together, We're gonna
build something.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Are the only ones, the only ones that have unified
to get anything done in this country, and not not
even that we unified to do it for ugs. We
unified that everybody else has benefitting from our unity. So
let us never get it twisted when y'all say black
people don't we only ones don't unify. No, I disagree.
We're the only ones that have unified. Name any other

(20:58):
group outside of white folks. They're unified for white supremacy.
Name any other group that is unified to get out
of something. I wish I had a witness. I wish
somebody knew what I was talking about. Bridge to Smith,
shut out to a prisoner from brother. I wish I
had just five people that knew what I was talking about.
Black people are.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
The only ones that are unified to get out of something.
White people are the only ones that unified to get
into something.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
We all want that unified to get out of the trouble.
So let us not be confused. Don't y'all let these
Internet confuse y'all. We ain't unified. Black men ain't with
black women. Women, ain't black women, ain't with black men.
The devil is alive. We are the only group, the
only one that had figured out how to work with
each other to get out of something. And if you

(21:44):
don't know those type of people ain't your circle, then
you need to change your ragged aad circle because it
ain't my circle. It ain't I don't understand what you're
talking about. It ain't me, that's you and your your
ragged head circle. Your algorithms is a reflection of your mind.
So if everything that's popping up on the A rhythm
is awesome bullshit.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Then that means you own some bullshit. Let's just go
ahead and name it. If everything on your algorithm, Oh,
all y'all black women do? Is this all y'all black
men do? Is this? Well, you need to change your algorithm.
If you say you ain't never met a man that
did this or did that, well, since you need to
change your circle because it's men out there doing it.
If you say, all I know black black women, is
this this this? Hey, take it up with your mom

(22:24):
and on the main line, because I'm not your mammy.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
So you need to change your circle. You need to
change your circle. Let's start changing the circle. Let's start
get get around some people that's doing something.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
You get around fore you that's doing something, then that
means you'll you'll be able to see that. Yeah, black people,
actually we are actually all that.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Heymen, So guys, I want to thank you for listening
in to Straight Shot No Chase Cer, not just this episode,
but continuing to support me over the last five years.
It has been a joy, It has been a blessing.
It has been an honor to serve you in the
podcast capacity. I do hope you continue to follow the show,

(23:07):
continue to follow me on Instagram at teslin figure Out,
continue to follow me at Twitter, on telim figure ou,
continue to follow Black Effect and all of our content creators.
I keep mentioning to you over and over and over
that seventy percent of podcast listeners are white, so it
is important that we have our rightful place in the
podcast space as well. And it is also critically important

(23:30):
that you support shows like this that are information based,
training base and not just gossip base. No disrespect to
the gossip podcasters because that is also important too. We
learn a lot, you know, from pop culture, but it
is also important, especially in times like this, that we
are actually spending some of our time learning and getting information.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Like I said, I.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Hope you joined me for the next chapter, a straight
shot no chaser, which will be how to Teslim figure Out.
Every single show will be formatted in a training how
to purpose driven driven podcasts, not just with myself, but
also a lot of my friends and hopefully making some
