Open your body to Exodus chapter one, Exodus chapter one,
Verse fifteen. And as you are turning there, As you
are turning there, we're gonna let the worship team be
released and they're gonna come back up. Can we thank
them as well? Everybody? They've been here all day. I
love Mother's Day. I love it because they get to
(02:12):
honor my beautiful wife of twenty nine years going on thirty.
I'm grateful for my mom esther Kai. I don't know
which video she's gonna end up watching, but Mom, I
love you so much. And I'm grateful for all the
women in all of our lives. I love Mother's Day
because Mother's Day reminds us that only women can give birth?
Can they get an amen? And so I think about
(02:32):
that sometimes anyway. So we've got some great women in
our lives, don't we great women? There are great women
that we're gonna study today that actually all of us men,
we can take notes from that. And by the way,
Can I just say two words? Can I say two words?
Man Camp? I'm gonna say it again, man Camp. That's
for man Camp. That's six man Camp. Sign up for
(02:53):
the man Camp. Moving right along, it's Mother's Day. So anyway,
there are women that have shaped Christian but also the
Old test And we're going to be studying some ladies
that have shaped the people of Israel. So first of all,
I want to show you in modern day times women
that have just been powerful. We're going to start off
with this lady right here on my far left, Catherine Coleman.
Catherine Coleman would preach and stadiums in the nineteen seventies,
(03:16):
the nineteen seventies would be filled with people coming into
the presence of God. And while she would preach, she
would minister at that time, and it was so anointed
that even people, whether you agree or not with his theology,
Benny Hinn, would be under that anointing and he would
go to her events, the great Benny hen She was incredible.
I read her book called Daughter of Glory, and in
(03:36):
its incredible biography. I love reading biographies because I feel
like I learned the most through a biography. The next
woman right here is not a mother who has biological children,
but her name is Mother Teresa. For a reason, she
mothered women, I mean children, and even the most destitute
people in that society during that time in Calcutta of India,
(03:57):
who were considered the untouchables in that last society, the
lowest of the lows, and so she ministered to them.
And she will forever be remembered as such a remarkable
woman that shaped Christendom. And then Amy simple McPherson, she
to me is one of the most amazing preachers, especially
in the nineteen twenties and thirties when women preachers were
(04:18):
not respected back in that day, and she was incredible.
She started off being born in the eighteen hundreds. Her
family was born into the Salvation Salvation Army denomination. The
Salvation Army back in the day highly evangelistic. They wore
the uniform and they went out and they preached the gospel.
They would play band music on street corners where there
(04:38):
would be bars, and then William Booth would come out
and preach. Today we just think Salvation Army is just
an organization that rings a bell during Christmas. They were
more than that back in the day and in other
parts of the world. They are more than what we
know in America the Salvation Army. But she grew up
under that. Then she met she met her husband, Robert
Semple in Chicago, and they had a call of God
on their life and they ended up in the nineteen
(05:00):
ended up in Hong Kong where they would preach the gospel.
But sadly, her husband Robert dies in her while she's
pregnant in her six months of pregnancy, and Amy Simple
McPherson comes back to America broken hearted, is heavy hearted.
But God puts this burden on her that she needs
to preach. She gets a model t forward convertible, buys
(05:21):
a huge tent, hires people to set up the tent,
and had revival of services in the nineteen twenties. That's
so much, so powerful that in the Bay Area during
that time, God spoke to her doing a revival in
the Bay Area. Come on somebody in the San Francisco
Bay area in Oakland in that place, and God told her,
I want you to build me a church, and she did.
She builds one of the greatest buildings La has ever seen.
(05:44):
In the nineteen thirties, during the Great Depression, and this
building is incredible. It still stands today, seats four thousand people.
And my friend, Pastor Tommy Barnett, he's preached her before.
We need to bring him back again. And his son,
pastor that church called Angelus Temple, and that church at
one time, or in the nineteen thirties, all the way
to the late forties and fifties, was the most important
(06:06):
church in all of Los Angeles. And Hollywood would come
to her sermons and they would sit in the front road.
Directors and producers would sit in the front road just
to pick off her sermons so they could make movies
out of it. And Charlie Chaplin would sneak in through
the back door so nobody could know him because they
thought he was a Communist, but he wasn't. He was
a Christian. And he would sit here, just a little
eccentric and they would sit there and the song Who
(06:26):
Ray for Hollywood? Who Ray for Hollywood? That song her
name is in that song. She's amazing, She's amazing. We
have amazing women in this room here today too, A
lot of amazing women in this room here today. And
I want to talk to you about some women in
the Bible that impacted society that if it wasn't for them,
there would be no Jewish faith. Ex. Tou Chapter one,
(06:50):
verse fifteen. The Bible tells us that the King of Egypt,
otherwise known as Pharaoh, said to the Hebrew midwives, okay,
you know what a midwife is, right right, a doulae.
I don't know what a doul is, but Adulah's a midwife. Anyway,
moving right along. They help women give birth, the midwives
whose names were Schiffra and Pua. And when you are
(07:10):
helping the Hebrew women, okay, the King of Egypt says,
when you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on
the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is
a boy, kill him. But if it is a girl,
let her live. The midwives, however, they feared God and
(07:32):
did not do what the King of Egypt had told
them to do. They let the boys live. What's going
on here? What is going on here is they are
as numerous as stars in the sky and sand on
the seashore. They have multiplied God when he spoke to Abraham,
and Abraham and his wife Sarah could not have children.
(07:54):
They've been trying all for so many years. Finally, they
didn't believe in the promises of God, and God's promis
has always come to pass, and they've ended up having
a baby in their very old age. I think he
was one hundred years old when they had little Isaac.
And from Isaac they had Jacob. And God told Jacob
that you and your sons, your twelve sons will become
the twelve tribes of Israel. And one of them was Joseph.
(08:15):
If you know your Bible, this is the Joseph of
the Old Testament to Joseph of the New Testament, was
Jesus's stepfather. But the Joseph of the Old Testament paid
the price. He ended up getting sold into slavery. He
was put into prison, he got from the prison to
the palace. Come on, and God used him greatly during
this time. And that is that man Joseph. And then
God told Joseph that out of this lineage and out
(08:36):
of these people will come such a population as great
as sand on the seashore and stars of the sky.
The Bible tells us in Exodus chapter one that now
Pharaoh is nervous because this new pharaoh did not know Joseph.
He did not honor the legacy. He did not honor
the faith of their forefathers. He didn't care. He didn't
care that Joseph actually saved Egypt from famine during that time.
(08:59):
But now there's a new pharaoh who knew not Joseph,
and because he was fearful, his goal was population control.
He needed to control the population, and that's why he
said to the Hebrew midwives, if you see a boy
come through, that canal kill the boys, only let the
girls live. It's interesting that during this time that the
(09:19):
Hebrew midwives decide with creative solutions and the fear of
the lord. It says in verse eighteen. Then the king
of Egypt summoned the midwives and ask them, why have
you done this? The king calls in the midwives, the
chief midwives, why have you let the boys live? The midwives?
I love their answer. The midwives answered Pharaoh. Hebrew women
they're not like Egyptian women. They are vigorous and give
(09:42):
birth before the midwives even arrived. In other words, Hebrew women,
they don't need no epidero. They just grind that towel
and they're fine. Right. Think about that for a moment, midwives,
you got a midwife there was no obgyn back at
the time. It was just like you would just like
feel the old pool, just feel the oh pooh oh
oh oh, well boy, guarantee it's a boy. Say oh
(10:06):
this one girl, This one is one girl. This is
a girl. Oh you're hanging low? You ready at pretty soon?
Call me when the water break. Anyway, moving right along,
eleven thirty. It's okay to laugh, you know, just so
you know. Oh it's ten thirty. My bad, it's ten thirty.
It's okay to laugh. Think about this for a moment. Shiffra, Shiffra.
The name Shiffra means fair. The name Pua means splendid
(10:26):
and glitter awesome, Shiffra. We don't know Shiffa's last name,
say Shiffra, But Poua we think we know her name.
We think we know her name. Hawaiian archaeologist said, you
know what her last name is? Ting, Pua, ting pouah ting,
Oh oh, poor thing, never mind, moving right along. I'm
(10:46):
just trying to I'm just trying. I'm just trying to
get you engaged. This is my last one and then
I gotta go Kailua. But anyway, this is my last one.
Unlimited rice. I'm thinking about unlimited rice. I love this
because the Bible goes on to say verse twenty so
God was kind online. God was kind to the Hebrew midwives,
(11:06):
and the people increased and became even more numerous. And
because the midwives feared God, God gave them families of
their own. And then Pharaoh gave this order to the
Hebrew boy that every Hebrew boy look at this. This
is don't miss this verse twenty two in an NIV,
in the ESV, in the New King James version, whatever
(11:28):
it is, I believe this. It says this. Then Pharaoh
gave this order to everyone in Egypt. Every Hebrew boy
that is born, you must throw into the nile. But
let every girl live first. He tells the Hebrew midwives
kill the boys. Why why Because if you can't have boys,
you can't and they're not gonna populate, They're not gonna populate.
(11:51):
You're gonna kill off a generation of boys, a whole
generation of boys, no boys, and for one generation, and
then these girls were not getting pregnated and they're not
gonna have anymore. So we saw the population problem of
too many Hebrews in our land. Sounds familiar, well, He
also says this now because the Hebrew midwives ain't going
(12:11):
with it. They fear God. They're not going along with
the program. These midwives do not agree with this, They're
not going with They fear God more than they fear man.
So what happens instead is instead, what happens is now
he tells the people, the Egyptians. If you see a
Hebrew baby boy, throw him in the nile. Wow, can
you imagine the fear at that time? Can you imagine
(12:34):
what is going on in this world? At that moment,
Shiffra and Puah look at this, they were decided to
fear the Lord more than anything else. Someone in eleven
verse ten says, fear of the Lord is a foundation
of true wisdom. The more you fear God, the more
wiser you get. Come on, the more, it says right there,
the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
If you fear God, then you won't cheat. If you
(12:55):
fear God, you'll live with integrity. When you fear God
and you live according to his priests and the statutes,
you're gonna pay a price. Oh yeah, and we might
sacrifice a lot, but I promise you it'll be worth it.
It will be worth it. You can look yourself in
the mirror. I can tell you when you fear the Lord.
A fear of the Lord is not like, oh God,
I'm afraid of God. No, A fear of the Lord
is I honor, respect him, and I therefore will obey him.
(13:16):
And whenever you get to that place, God is gonna
do something amazing. I love Schiffra and Puah. They're amazing,
these women. They are there, They're like encouraging and coaching.
I don't know, but imagine shift from Pooah sounds like
two rapper girls. You know what I'm saying, Yo yo,
yo yo. I'm Schiffra, She's Poa. We like to sing
(13:36):
we Hebrew midwives. You know that's a thing. I don't know.
Made it up on the spot, you know, it didn't
say it at the other services. Just this kind of
stuff just calms sometimes so so Shift from Poa. They
had a fear of the Lord, but they did not
fear men. And in the world that we live in,
(13:57):
where the screws get tightened, screws get height, where we've
just come out of what I would call a test
run in the last three years that we've all paid
a level of a price for it. Loved ones who
have suffered and gone through this. I love this about
Shiff from Pua. They secretly allow the boys to live
when they grew. They must have been hard to hide
because you had to circumcise a Hebrew baby boy by
(14:19):
the age of ten. So how do you do that
and hold on to a baby? Right? And they had
to go through this, and the Satanic edict was passed
by Pharaoh. Throw every Hebrew baby boy in the Nile,
whether a crocodile eats it or whether it drowns. This
is not only spiritual warfare. This is psychological warfare that
is going on at that time. The fear it must
(14:41):
have brought into the land of Ghoshen in Egypt at
that moment, where they had multiplied to over a million people.
Imagine ordinary citizens of Egypt looking to turn in boys.
Imagine the envious, for whatever reason, turn in the family
next door. This has been replayed throughout history. By the way,
don't just think it's Biblical times. This happened in our
in our generation before us. In fact, as a matter
(15:02):
of fact, it took place in Warsaw, it took place
in Auschwitz. It took place in Berlin, where neighbors were
reporting to the Gestapo of the people of the Star
of David to be sent and condemned to concentration camps.
Think about this what Yahweh said to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
your offspring will be as numerous as stars in the
sky and the sand on the sea shar That's why
(15:24):
the Bible says that Rachel is weeping for her children,
weeping for the boys. Pharaoh seeks to reduce Jacob's numbers
upon the land. That's what Pharaoh seeks to do, reduce
Jacob's numbers upon the land. And the spirit of Pharaoh
is an anti Christ spirit, in anti God spirit that
(15:45):
tried during World War Two and will try to again
God fearing people in the years to come. The tactic
is the same as before, fear, intimidation and lies. But
these boys would become men and be the first generation
to exit Egypt and their slaves read and cross the
Red Sea on dry ground. The generation requires a different
(16:05):
kind of mother. Let me say this again, This generation
requires a different kind of mother, a mother up to
date on social trends and doctrines of culture, social constructs
that are being formed lies that are taking root into
children's minds by new ideologies being taught in institutions, normalizing
abhorrent behavior that is appeddled and perpetuated by streaming channels
(16:29):
and retail outlets like balanc Balenciaga and Target see Playtime,
Reading and libraries and public parks branded as Family Day,
or their children's social media accounts that they have been
conditioned and even us to be a need in their lives.
Today's mothers are teaching them the major challenges of the
Christian faith, such as skepticism, moral relativism, new age beliefs,
(16:54):
to navigate these challenges with confidence. Today's mothers are teaching
their children to think critically and engage in respectful dialogue
with those who hold different beliefs. She is setting them
among the reeds. Did you know that there's a new
breed of mother coming out? Did you know that there's
a new breed of mother that is being forged? Can
(17:15):
I tell you heard of the stage mom. You've heard
of the soccer mom. You've heard of my child can
do no wrong mom? Of course we have. Yes, you
might have even been one of them. But there is
another kind of mother that is re emerging as the
Times dictate, and her title it's Mama bear. Let me
(17:36):
hear the mama bear is in the house. Here's let
me tell you about a mama bear. She's fierce. You
cross her, you try to look. If you cross her,
do not look her in the eye. Look away. I'm
telling you, if she'll protect it all costs, she'll meet
you in the parking lot. She will snatch that. She
will snatch that chicky McNugget right out of your hand
if you don't give it to your younger brother. I'm
(17:56):
telling you right now, she'll defend her child to the bullies,
against bullies both social, physical, and spiritual. Some might mistakenly
call her overbearing. Her kids might call her cycle behind
her back, but make no mistake about it. She is
Mama Bear, and she is built different. She's different. She
(18:21):
wasn't born like that. She had to become like that
because in a society like this, where they want to
do something with the children even after they're born, we've
got to be careful with that. We've got to protect them.
It leads me to point number two. Number two, a
mother of a godly woman. Let me tell you number one.
She fears the lord. Number two. She is a protector
of life. She's a protector of life. Chapter two, verse
(18:44):
one says, not a man, it's getting personal. Not a
man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman.
In other words, a pastor's daughter got married to another
younger pastor, moving right along. And she became pregnant and
gave birth to a son. And when she saw that
he was a fine child, she hid him for three months.
(19:09):
But when she could hide him no longer, she got
a papyrus basket. She got a basket for him and
coated it with tar and pitch, and then she placed
the child in it, put it among the reeds, among
the reeds along the bank of the nile, and his
sister stood at a distance to see what would happen
(19:30):
to him. Can you see the scene right now? This
mother cannot, I can't. I can't. I can't hide him
any longer. This is my pride, this is my joy.
He's a boy. If I had a girl and I'm
having a boy, and I know I can't he came
out a boy. Oh my gosh, she's not gonna live long.
And so she takes out the boy and she can't
let him go. He's so beautiful. There's something about this boy,
(19:51):
and she won't let him go. And month goes by.
Husband says, you still, we're still gonna keep him. Oh,
I don't want to let him go. I mean neither,
but we got we want someone finds as the hear him,
they hear him cry where it's over. It's over. It's
gonna it's over for us. No, No, I'm gonna hold
on Tim. Just another week. Just another week turns into
another month, and another month turns into three months, and
finally she has to put him. She builds a basket.
(20:14):
She gets bitch and molds, and she rubs it on
the inside and paints it on the inside. She gets tar,
she water proofs it on the outside, and then she
wraps her little baby boy and makes it as comfortable
as possible, and she puts him among the reads in
a papyrus basket. The papyrus basket is very very similar
to Noah's ark. Noah's ark, the word in Hebrew is
(20:35):
the word teva te v a h. The arc was
the word teva, but also the word for the papyrus
basket is the exact same word. The word Teva. Noah's
ark is like the Papyrus basket. Noah's ark carried life
that held the future destiny for all of humanity. That's
what Noah's arc did. Jokobed's basket. This woman, her basket
(20:57):
carried life that held the future destiny for Why because
this little baby boy that is in the basket, his
name is Moses. Moses is going into the basket. She
was a protector of life, saw him eighty two verse
forces rescue the poor and helpless, deliver them from the
grasp of evil. It was premeditated that she would put
(21:17):
this basket. She knew where she She was setting up
her son for the best life that he could. She
was about to take care of her baby boy, even
though she did know if God would have she was
about to put him in the best position that she
could put him. And so she set him among the reeds,
not casually. I'm gonna put him by the reds. And
I know, I know the beautiful Ten Commandments movie that
we grew up on. For those of you who are
(21:38):
children of the eighties, which is the best generation. By
the way, now, I'm telling you right now, she didn't
just floated down the river. It didn't float. She strategically
put him among the reeds on the side of the
river bank. And while he is on the side of
the river bank, she knew when Pharaoh's daughter came out
to get her treatments. She knew when she was getting
she when she was getting you know, her her skin peels,
(22:00):
and when she was putting on her anti bags under
her eyes. You know, she knew when she was getting
getting watermelon on her skin. She knew, and she was
getting cucumber all over those eyelids. She knew when she
would come. I know, lot, I got three daughters and
a wife. Come on, somebody, don't judge me. But anyway,
she knew when the mask was going on. She knew
when she would bathe, and so she put it right
there when she would go out to the little spa
(22:21):
in Egypt and bathe, and there she was, she put
it among the reeds. She put it among the reeds
to protect him. She was strategic in where she put him.
But then also the Bible says, then Pharaoh's daughter went
down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were
walking along the river bank. Watch this list and don't
miss this she saw the basket among the reeds and
(22:43):
sent her female slave to go get it. She opened
it and saw the baby, and he was crying, and
she felt sorry for him. And this is one of
the Hebrew babies, she said. And then his sister asked
Pharaoh's daughter. His sister asked Moses. Sister asked Pharaoh's Moses'
(23:04):
sister is Miriam. We read her story in the book
of Exodus. Miriam. Miriam was a prophet. They got a
younger brother later on. He's coming later on. His name
is Aaron. We haven't met him yet. And then you
got Moses. Three kids in this family that God is
gonna use powerfully. Then his little sister asked Pharaoh's daughter,
Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women
to nurse the baby for you? Smart girl, Yes, go,
(23:29):
she answered. So the girl went and got the baby's mother.
Pharaoh's daughter said to her, take this baby and nurse
him for me, and I will pay you. I will
pay you. I take venmo. I'm fine with that. Take
this baby and nurse him for me, and I will
pay you. So the woman took the baby and nursed him.
Jocobed nurses her own baby puts Moses in the basket.
(23:52):
And when the child grew older, she took him to
Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son, and she named
the Moses, saying, I drew him out up water. I
set him among the reeds, and I drew him out
of water. I set him, I set her among the reeds,
and I got to draw him from the water. Two women,
(24:15):
four women in total. Two women defying a government edict
because they fear God more than they fear man. I'm
gonna listen to you. We tried that once before. We're
not doing that. And they risk life and limb to
deliver this baby. The baby comes out. God bless you,
and God blesses them. And now all of a sudden,
(24:36):
she can't keep this baby any longer. It's too taxing,
it's too difficult. So I lay him among the reeds.
I lay him among the reeds. I raised this baby.
I took care of this baby. I love this baby.
I nurtured this baby. I took care of this baby.
I did everything. I sent them to dance class, I
sent them to you know, basketball practice. I paid for
that private school. I did that whole preschool thing. We did.
(24:56):
Oh my gosh, we paid. I sent him among the reeds,
and there it comes a time in my life, well,
I'm gonna have to set them among the leads the reads,
and I might have to step by. I might not
be able to go. I'm gonna pray to God, Oh God,
will you take care of my son, take care of
my daughter. Some of you are relating to me right now,
because hey, I'm preaching better than some of you guys
responding right now. I'm just saying, I'm joking. But listen
to this. Listen to this. When you are nurturing, you're
(25:20):
taking care of these kids, they grow up fast.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Man.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Don't blink, man, don't blink. Dads, get every moment with
your kid because one day you're gonna have to set
them among the reeds. Dads, I'm telling you right now,
enjoying every moment because you might have to set him
among the reeds. I'm telling you I have three daughters
and they all getting older, and I'm telling you in
the last one, she's seventeen, and I look back at
her pictures when she was like nine like that, Lisa
(25:43):
told me, do not blink. You need to spend more
time with her. Be more intentional, because she will grow
up before your very eyes and you might miss it.
Now I'm about to set her among the reeds. Go off.
You set your kid among the reeds, when you send
them off the college, set them among the reeds, when
you send them off to the military. Sometimes you're setting
them among the reads earlier than you want to because
you didn't get it all done, you didn't get it
all in there. But they went. And I can tell
(26:05):
you right now, someday you're gonna draw them out of
the water. You're gonna draw them out of the water.
I set them and I prayed, Oh God intervened. Sure enough,
God intervenes, God intervene. Everything works together, works together. The
timing of she got her bath, Oh God, don't let
nobody come by. Don't let nobody come by and open
(26:26):
up that basket by mistake. Oh God, I don't want
nobody to discover that this is my baby boy. And
oh my gosh, Lord, if they if they show up,
if they show up, oh my gosh, I'm gonna have
to intervene. Oh Lord, you set them among the reeds,
And I tell you right now, sometimes you're gonna draw
him from the water. He God had to set them
among the reeds so that he could not live in
(26:46):
captivity anymore. He needed to have or set her among
the reeds so after before captivity, he could be raised
in royalty. Because he would have been in captivity like
everybody else he would there would there be no way
he could differentiate himself from who he was amongst his
brethren and his brothers who were Hebrew like him, and
(27:07):
they were slaves like him. But man, God would needed
to differentiate him so that he could come back and
give people a vision of what life should be like. Man,
this is the man that will go into the desert prematurely.
He wanted to take on his position of what God
told him to do, to let his people go prematurely.
But the challenge was when he did it. He did
it prematurely. He killed a man with his own hands,
and God did not condone that. So he went into
(27:29):
the backside of the desert for another forty years, feeling
like a failure until God had to send him a
burning bush. That burning bush god his attention, and God
began to put that original purpose in his life. Why
did I save you among the reeds? Why did I
allow you to be drawn out of water. Why were
you raised in royalty? Why did you get the education
that you got, the everything that you have, Why did
(27:51):
you get all of you got all of that? Because
now I need to send you back and look your
cousin in the eye and tell him. Let my people go. Yeah,
you know, we live in worship. Team can come up
and worship, You can come up and keys because listen
to this. We live in one of those awkward situation.
This is this is this is this is a little awkward.
(28:13):
It's an arrangement. You live with me, I am you
are in the palace, and then sometimes you go home
and you're with your mother and your mother is feeding you,
and then you come back to me and I'm your mom,
and then you go back there and then you're her mom.
We're living in a palace of my father, and so
we've got a multi generational home going on. And sometimes
you're with him and sometimes you're with her. So we
(28:34):
don't know who your father is. We got and we
know you got one. He's just not in the picture
right now. But I'm telling you, we live in You
go here and I go there, and then what time
is she picking up? And we live in that kind
of a society, and a lot of us live in
a multi generational home. And and then we have step families,
and we have hanai cousins and sisters and brothers, and
(28:57):
and and it can be confusing, it can be awkward,
but yet God can still use it. God can still
use it. Moses came from a mixed, blended family situation
that if we were to look with a religious spirit
(29:20):
and look at that, we say, I don't know if
God can use that guy. But let me tell you.
Jesus had a step father. Jesus had a step father.
He's a son of God, purely God, purely man. He
wasn't half God half man. He was pure God, pure man.
And God allowed that to be raised by a step
(29:44):
father to become a man beyond his bar mitzvah years.
And no matter what situation you're in, if it feels
not perfect, it's a little bit awkward, We're going to
get through this. I want to tell you God can
use that. God can use that in the name of
Jesus ay man. So number one is the fear of
the Lord. Number two a protective life. I have to
(30:05):
remember this. I had my third and final point, and
it is a compassion for those in need, a compassion
for those in need. So Pharaoh's daughter.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
Is the easy villain. In this easy villain, all the
world would say villainy. The world would say privileged. Okay,
maybe no, no, no, maybe maybe maybe.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Maybe, but what's this? She rescued him, She rescued him,
pulled him out of the water, and loved him. Pulled
him out of the water, raised him part of God's plan.
God still used that. God used that plan. One set
him reads, the other drew him from water. And God's
(30:49):
gonna use you in different roles in your life. When
you move forward, sometimes you're gonna set things down, you know, Ecclesiasts,
he said, throw your cast your bread upon the water.
You never know what's gonna return. And there's gonna be
times like I just put it in the reads, and
then sometimes you're gonna go oo. I drew that out
of water. Thank you, thanking Jesus. And I'm not talking
about a child. I'm talking about the opportunity and blessing
when your heart is right. Come on, am I speaking
(31:10):
to anybody? I know you got quieter? I know I did.
Come on. This moor has a prayer. So, Father, we
just come before. In the name of Jesus, we thank you,
Lord for your presence and your power this year. And Father,
I pray right now in the name of Jesus, Lord God,
that you would begin to move in our heart's Lord God,
that we would begin to see that this there is
something different than you are raising up. It's not just
a mama bear. Lord, You're not just raising up a
(31:31):
mama bear. You're raising up a dad that is aware.
Now he understands. He's in the right rooms now, he
is in the right camps today, and he's getting it.
He's getting it. He's getting it like I needed to
get it, or God. And I pray right now in
the name of Jesus or God for our children who
are seeming to get confused, that they would again they
would get unconfused. Father, I pray against those apps that
we gotta use sometimes, but they are so used to
(31:52):
using and communicating through. Father, I pray that you protect
their minds and their hearts in the name of Jesus.
And Father, I pray then you strengthen the home. Then
you would strengthen the family. Now in the name of Jesus.
So Lord, we thank you for what you're doing in Hawaii.
But Lord, don't just do it in Hawaii. Do it
in our homes, do it in our holiday. We asked
this in the name of Jesus, and everybody said, Amen, Amen,
(32:14):
Amen talk praise God, Give God, praise. Okay, one last prayer,
one last prayer. And I told you i'd give you
out to lunch on time, and you are, you are,
you are. Don't don't don't start walking out, okay, because
this is the most important prayer. Im praying all day.
You've had a lot of prayers today, a lot of
(32:34):
worship one today. This is the most important part right here.
So just give me three more minutes. Don't, don't. Don't
get up here and walk out, even if you work
and you're serving here, because when you sometimes when we
work and serve, we get up high they're going to
do something. I gotta go to my post. And they
were like, oh, it's so cute to leave anyway, it's
too here it is. I want to leave you in
(32:55):
a prayer that changes everything, changes your life forever, forgives
you of all of your sins, washes you clean by
the blood of Jesus. And if you've never done that before.
Let me tell you right now, if he comes into
your life, you surrender your life to Jesus who died
on the cross for all of my sins and your sins.
I'm telling you right now, he will come into your life,
change you from the inside out, forgive you of all
(33:16):
of your sins, wash you clean, and then prepare you
for heaven and give you a task right here on
this planet where you are right now. See, because there's
only two places, I'm telling you right now, there's heaven
and Hell does exist. They both exist, but there's no purgatory.
There's no reincarnation, you know, coming back as a spirit
animal or something like that. That's not happening. There is death, life, death,
(33:37):
the beginning of the end, and then eternity and then
the judgment. You want to spend eternity with Jesus Christ.
But you can't just pray the prayer because you want heaven.
You have to pray the prayer because you realize that
you are a sinner. You need to be saved by grace,
and you have to make the opposite direction and follow
God instead of following your own fleshly desires. See, God
doesn't want you just to casually receive his son Jesus
(33:59):
into the life. Because his son Jesus didn't casually go
to the cross, He purposely went to the cross. He
suffered on the cross. And God wants you in his family,
and He's designed this moment for you that you would
give your life to Jesus, surrender your life, and your
life would never be the same. So it doesn't matter
how young you are or how old you are. You
could be fifteen, you could be twelve, you could be
(34:20):
seventy or anybody in between. If you've never given your
life to Jesus, then then you are unsure of your salvation.
You are on the outside. You need Jesus in your
life and surrender your life to him. If you want
to live forever, you want to be in you want
to achieve a level of immortality with Christ. That's the
way I would put it, and you'll live with Him
forever and in his presence. So if that's you, I
(34:43):
encourage you. You don't have to wait till it gets bad.
You don't have to wait until you get suicidal. You
don't have to wait. But if you are there, please
surrender your life to Christ. You could be like the
rich young ruler. You knew everything, had everything, but guess
what you needn't have Jesus and the rich young ruler
walked away very disappointed, and we don't know where he
ended up, but we're pretty sure it didn't go well
for him. But Jesus, he's coming you. We might hit
(35:06):
the pinnacle of your life. I'm doing great, well, awesome,
but you're still missing something because you're self medicating. You're
filling it with something else. I'm telling you right now,
you're not content. But the only one that can bring
contentment in your achievement and the only one that can
lift you up when you are at the lowest of
lows both to do both. It's only one person. His
name is Jesus. So no matter who you are, where
you've been, what you've done, no matter what level of
(35:28):
religion you are raised in, a philosophy that you've adopted,
or whatever it is, it cannot stand in front of
the cross. Jesus is the answer, he said, I am
the Way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to the Father but by me. Jesus doesn't make up words.
No one can come to the Father only through me.
Jesus said, it's not my words, it's in the Bible.
And if you've never given your life to Jesus, today
(35:50):
is the day of your salvation and the day that
you kind of follow through on this. So get ready
from the top row to the right corner, left corner,
the top to the middle section right here that I'm
looking at it, and even to the front row right here.
Sometimes when the lights are on in the first four rows,
people don't look up because they think everybody looking at them,
nobody looking at you. If you're not right with God,
(36:11):
raise your hand today and get right with Jesus. I
promise you your life will never be the same. It's
gonna not gonna be easy. It will not easy. If
it was easy, everybody would be Christians. It's not easy.
Living the life that God called you to live is
gonna cost sacrifice. It's gonna cost you, but it's gonna
be so rewarding. So get ready. At the con of three,
get ready, I'm gonna go one, two, three. When you
hear me clap at the con of three, I want
(36:33):
you to raise your hand to surrender your life to Jesus.
Here we go one. He will never let you down.
Online you two two for God to love the world
that he gave his only son, whoever believes in him
will not perish but have everlasting life. Here we go
and get shoot it up high. Yeah, let's go. One,
two three, put your hand up, put your head up,
(36:53):
hand up to them like, that's who I want, this one.
I want to put it up high. That's what I want,
This one I want. That's I want. And someone one, two, three, four,
five six, keep them up. Seven, right there, eight nine,
God bless you, ten, right here, eleven, eleven, twelve, right there,
God bless you, twelve, anybody else thirteen right there, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen,
eighteen right there, nineteen, twenty, twenty one, twenty two, God
(37:15):
bless you, God bless you. I got twenty three, twenty four,
twenty five, twenty six, God Bless you, twenty seven, twenty
eight for nine, thirty, thirty one, thirty two at the
very top, thirty three, thirty four, twenty five, thirty six,
thirty seven, thirty eight, thirty nine, forty forty, God bless you.
Keep it up forty one, forty two, forty three. I'm
almost done, not quite though, Keep it up forty three
forty four right there, sir, forty four, right there, forty
(37:35):
five at the very top, forty six, right there, forty seven,
I got you, I got you. Forty seven. You'll put
your hands down. Come on, can we thank the Lord? Everybody?
Forty seven people, get ready, We're gonna repeat this prayer,
(37:58):
especially the forty seven, the fifth people, the forty seven
to fifty people. This is the most important prayer of
your life. Get ready to repeat this prayer. I want
everybody to repeat it with them. Say Jesus, today I
surrender and give you my life. Thank you for dying
(38:18):
on the cross, shedding your blood that washes my sins
as white as snow. I also thank you that when
I die, I'll be in your presence for all eternity.
But while I'm here, be my strength for today, my
hope for tomorrow. I'm born again, the oldest past, the
(38:41):
new is begun. I'm a new creation in Christ Jesus,
created to serve you and to bring you glory with
the new life you gave me. So molde me, shake me,
heal me, lead me, me, use me, fill me, and
(39:04):
send me to do what you called me to do
With a new life. You gave me in Jesus name
I prayer and everybody said, hey, man, come on, what
can we thank the Lord?
