Speaker 1 (00:01):
We're here today to celebrate a blockbuster agreement that will
ensure this story to American Company stays an American company.
You're going to stay in American Company, you know that right.
They will keep its headquarters in the great City at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
where Cologne.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Good Saturday morning to you.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
Ben Ferguson with you, and these are some of the
stories that you may have missed that we talked about
this week on the forty seven Morning Update. First off,
a protester at Columbia University has direct ties to a
terrorist organization. We have the indictment and why the Trump
administration is now going after Columbia getting rid of their

(00:45):
taxpayer dollars that you were sending by the millions. We
also are going to cover what's going on in Colorado
and more information about a radical terrorist and his plan
to kill Jewish, innocent elderly people. And finally, one of
the biggest frauds in American government history this time dealing

(01:06):
with food stamps has been uncovered and you'll be angry
to find out just how much of your tax money
was stolen. It's the forty seven Morning Update and it
starts right now.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Story number one.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
The Trump administration is very upset right now with many
American universities who are allowing anti Semitism to explode on
college campuses. Colombia is a perfect example of this, where
a protester and self proclaimed Jew hater, we now have
learned had direct links to Hamas terrasl this coming from

(01:40):
disturbing phone records as the DOJ is revealing all of this.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
A Jew hater quote unquote, who.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Protested against Israel on Columbia University's campus and contemplated we
now have learned setting a student on fire allegedly had
a direct link to the Hamas Deadly Al Casam Brigade
militant group.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
The Post is now reviewing.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
The man is now a wedding trial after being indicted
on three federal hate crimes against Jewish people. He was
a member of a chat group that received regular updates
from the terrorist organization as well, and the accusation is
the first evidence of an agitator receiving information directly from
Hamas and taking action during protests on the University of

(02:28):
Colombia campus. Now the individual was twenty. I want to
be clear, he was not a Columbia student, but he
was on the campus protesting. He frequently wore the green
headband used by Hamas Terras and boasted to friends about
having relatives overseas who were actually a part of the
terror group. This all coming from the DOJ court filing.

(02:51):
While on Colombia's campus during protests in April of last year,
the individual allegedly Texas pals, saying he lit a flare
and consider delighting someone on fire, but that there was
quote too many people around him to take on, otherwise
he would have hurt them. A Columbia University said has
quote no record of the man being on campus and

(03:11):
wanted to quote be clear that this individual is not
affiliated with our university in any way. All right, so
why did you allow him to protest on your campus?
The university added that the school quote strongly condemns anti
Semitism and violence, and we are horrified by the violence
and hate crimes described in the incident. Well, you can

(03:32):
say that all you want, but the reality is Columbia
University has allowed this hate to grow on its campus,
which brings me to the second part of the story.
The Trump administration is now escalating pressure on Colombia, as
the Education Department is questioning the university's accreditation altogether.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Here's more of the story from Fox News.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
The Trump administration is not backing down as it continues
its crackdown on campus anti semitism. The State Department is
vowing to investigate the visa status of anti Israel protesters
who are arrested after storming the school library this week.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
The nature of our promise that people who are in
this country with the visa ange laws or affect the
nature of what's important to our country when it comes
to our foreign policy and national security, will be acted
on in that regard. And yes, he said it, and
I believe them, and that's the word you can take
for it.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Congress Woman Elise Stephanic says that schools like Columbia just
aren't paying attention. Here listen to what she has to say.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
And the fact that these universities have allowed that to
perpetuate shows that they have been incapable of showing strong
leadership to allow safety for students, and they've allowed this
anti semitism to continue to rise. US taxpayers do not
want their dollars to prop up institutions that are unsafe
for Jewish students, and that has been the case at
places like Columbia.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
One thing's for sure, the Trauma administration isn't screwing around
with anti semitism on college campuses, and they're going to
make it hurt for universities it refused to rein it in.
So well done to the Trump administration for doing this.
They're not holding back and they're stopping anti semitism, especially
when your tax dollars are going to these universities that

(05:13):
have been looking the other way for far too long.
Next story number two, there's one thing that we know
for sure. The media lied to us about the Egyptian
illegal who lit innocent people on fire in Boulder, Colorado.
We also know that the police chief in Boulder, Colorado
played politics and didn't want to tell you the truth
about this being a terrorist act. Well, that's not all

(05:35):
they're covering up, and that's part of the reason why
we do this show so you know exactly what is
happening in this investigation. One thing is for sure is
the Egyptian illegal immigrant who was led into this country
during the Biden administration said he quote wanted to kill
all Zonus people and had planned the attack for at

(05:55):
least a year. Mohammed Soliman has just been charged with
a federal hate crime. Here is more of what we've
learned from my good friends at Fox and Kaylee Mcanany.

Speaker 8 (06:06):
We have some new details. Federal authorities releasing the charges
for the man accused of setting eight people on fire
and that targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. Officials say
he's now being charged with a hate crime that's federally
and this is what they found. They found at least
fourteen unlit molotov cocktails on his person, along with that
makeshift flamethrower. The molotovs comprised of glass wine caraff bottles

(06:30):
or ball jars containing clear liquid and red rags hanging
out of the bottles. He made these himself. In fact,
it says that he researched on YouTube how to do this,
and later during an interview with the officials, the suspects stated, outright,
and he's talking. He stated he wanted to quote kill
all Zionist people and wished they were all dead. He

(06:50):
also stated that he would do it again emily. He
also said during this centerview he specifically targeted the Zionist
group that had gathered in Boulder. He knew they plan
to meet that day Sunday at one pm. He arrived
at twelve fifty five and waited for them.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
I love that.

Speaker 9 (07:05):
He also said that he's been planning this attack for
over a year, but he wanted to wait until his
daughter graduated because he gets to make that choice. But
what about the choice of the Jewish victims who don't
get to make a choice when they are attacked, or
don't get to make a choice if they die, which,
by the way, there with an attempt to murder, then
the hate crime charge brings a life imprisoned sentence, which
I hope he gets.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
This is so foul.

Speaker 9 (07:26):
And he also said that he learned on YouTube how
to make a Molotov cocktail. This is what is being
fomented right now that someone has the audacity, the ability,
and the actionable information to molotov cocktail and then flamethrow
against peaceful Jewish citizens and gets the luxury of doing
so after his daughter graduates, after he drives across the
country and builds his molotov cocktail with gas at the

(07:49):
gas station.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
This is absolutely unacceptable.

Speaker 9 (07:51):
We know that there are questions surrounding his identity given
that he's for some reason twenty one on his identification,
he shouldn't have been in this country and now people
are sufferings were horrifically, including a Holocaust survivor.

Speaker 8 (08:02):
As you pointed out earlier.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
A Holocaust survivor is one of the victims of this individual.
So the question you have to ask yourself is this,
why is the media still covering up this story.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Why are they not wanting to tell you that the.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Terrorist suspect said quote, he would do it again and
showed no remorse to those as he was speaking in
law enforcement. This also brings up another big story. We
also have the largest ICE raid that's just been conducted,
resulting in over fourteen hundred illegals being arrested in Massachusetts.
And the question is how many more terrorists are out

(08:40):
there that came to this country illegally, just like Mohammed Soliman,
the man who came from Egypt. Well, take a listen
to what the ICE director had to say when talking
about why they were forced to go into Massachusetts and
do a massive cleanup.

Speaker 10 (08:57):
In the meantime, in Massachusetts, you had I think the
largest ever raid or at least a netting of arrests
of one thy four hundred and sixty one people.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
That's the largest so far. And those that were arrested, seven.

Speaker 10 (09:09):
Hundred and ninety of them had criminal convictions and two
hundred and seventy seven had what we were just talking
about final orders of removal or deportation.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Tell Us More and.

Speaker 11 (09:18):
Dan, it was a great operation and the fact that
it was over the course of a month really shows
the commitment of the men and women of Vice here
in Massachusetts and all over New England.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
And we took a whole government approach.

Speaker 11 (09:27):
We used all of our partners, to include diplomatic security,
the US Marshall Service atf FBI DEA to really locate
and arrest these criminal aliens. One highlight for this operation
is the fact that it was successful because we worked
with our joint partners in a sanctuary state like Massachusetts,
where it's extremely difficult. Where we had operations tidal Wave
last month in Florida, there was a week long operation

(09:49):
working with our state partners. That's a state that cooperates
with us. Here in Massachusetts, we don't have any cooperations
from the local departments or from the state, which makes
it extremely difficult for IC get out there and find
these bad guys.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
You think about how many prospective terrorists are among us
that came across the border, and we're given, in essence,
the ability to stay here and protection from the Biden
Harrish regime. When you look at what's happening in Massachusetts
where the state and local authorities are refusing to take
out the bad guys, it tells you just how dangerous
it is for every American, no matter where you live.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
And here is story number three.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
It is a story that is shocking but becoming all
to normal. Six people, including a USDA employee, have been
busted in what is being described as a sixty six
million dollar food stamp fraud scheme. A USDA employee responsible
for identifying SNAP fraud allegedly sold hundreds of EBT numbers,

(10:50):
enabling over thirty six million in fraudulent SNAP redemptions at
unauthorized stores. Michael Keyo reportedly orchestrated network that supplied the
approximately one hundred and sixty unauthorized EBT terminals to stores
across the New York area to illegally process more than

(11:12):
thirty million in EBT transactions. This is now going down
in history as one of the largest food stamp frauds ever.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
The USDA employee.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
And five others that have been now charged in the
multimillion dollar food stamp fraud and bribery scheme are being
looked at for exactly what they are con artists that
had access within our government to pull this off. The
question now is where else could this be done around
the country and how much of your tax dollars are

(11:44):
being stolen by fraudulent terminals and fake people and fake
food stamps that are actually just going to let people
get extremely rich. There is one good thing. It's very
clear now that the Trump administration is going all to
find this type of waste, fraud and abuse.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
And yes, Elon Musk may.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Have moved on from what was always going to be
a temporary role with DOGE, but it doesn't mean that
the work is stopping anytime soon, and this is a
perfect example of it.
