Speaker 1 (00:00):
Our farmers are being hurt badly by you know, they
have very good workers.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
They've worked for him for twenty years.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
They're not citizens, but they've turned out to be, you know, great.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
So we're we're.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Going to have an order on that pretty soon. I
think we can't do that to our farmers and leisure too, hotels.
We're gonna have Jesus want to come and say so.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
That you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
Ben Ferguson.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Good Saturday morning to you.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
Ben Ferguson with you, and these are some of the
stories that you may have missed that we talked about
this week on the forty seven Morning Update. First up,
you may want to know what started all of this
in California. Well, Ice came in and we're going to
tell you the stories of those who they were arresting.
Up next, we're also going to talk about Donald Trump
(00:45):
and what he had to say at Fort Bragg about
holding the people in La accountable for the lawlessness that
we're witnessing. And finally, we also have a very big
report as well on where the money's coming from, and
an official investigation has been launched in Congress by Senator
Josh Holly, We'll give you the details of the organizations,
(01:09):
and the scary part is some of your tax dollars
we're going to some of these groups. It's the forty
seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
Story number one.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
The mayor of La Karen Bass, put out his statement saying, quote,
this morning, we receive reports of federal immigration enforcement actions
in multiple locations in Los Angeles. As mayor of a
proud city of immigrants who contribute to our city in
so many ways, she's referring to legal immigrants, I'm deeply
(01:39):
angered by what has taken place. These tactics so tear
in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in
our city. So to be clear, the mayor is saying
that the law enforcement agencies are the terrorists, and the
people that are in terrorist organizations we are protecting. She
went on to say, my office is in close coordination
(02:02):
with immigrant rights community organizations, meaning we are advocating and
defending the illegal immigrants who are being prosecuted by ICE.
And she then says, we will not stand for this.
So the question that you should ask now is well,
who were they trying to arrest? Let me just go
through some of the names for you. The Department of
(02:23):
Homeland Security, for example, is confirmed that the Vietnamese illegal
alien ICE arrest in the LA operation yesterday is a
convicted murderer and gang member who was involved in shooting
up a high school graduation party in San Marino in
nineteen ninety four, killing not one two young teenagers with
(02:44):
a bright future and injuring seven others. The individual and
other gang members were asked to leave the party after
a dispute.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
What do they do?
Speaker 4 (02:54):
They came back with an AK forty seven shotguns and
a handgun and then open fire, killing an eighteen year
old teen and a fifteen year old teen. This is
exactly who the Democrats are defending and hiding from ICE agents,
the Department of Home in Security spokesman saying in a statement,
(03:15):
this coldbodic killer is who the Rioters are trying to
protect over US citizens. The brave men and women of
ICE put their lives on the line every day to
arrest violent criminals like this and protect the lives of
American citizens.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
That's not all.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Jesus Hernandez Morales is a Mexican national and an aggravated
felon with prior conviction for conspiracy to transport an illegal alien.
Thank goodness, he was deported yesterday. Jose Merendez Ortiz is
an Ecuadorian national with convictions for conspiracy to possess with
intent to distribute not one, not two, not three, not four,
(03:56):
but five kilos of cocaine on a single trip in Florida.
Linel Sanchez Laguna a Mexican national with convictions for firing
a gun at an occupied dwelling in the oc also
battery of a spouse, beating his wife and wilful child,
cruelty in oc plus at Dui, and an assault with
(04:19):
a firearm. He had deportation orders since twenty twenty, and yes,
the Democrats were protecting him as well. So if you
think that Ice is out there just randomly grabbing people,
well that's what the media wants you to believe. But
they're lying to you, just like they say these are
quote peaceful protests.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Next story number two.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
President Donald Trump went to Fort Hood and he also
took a moment to make sure that the American people
knew what he believed in his stance on what is
happening in La now. Not only was he greeted with
cheers from the troops. He also talked about giving back
the old name a fort hood over whatever they called
it before. In the Woke Ajenda the last administration, Donald
(05:06):
Trump telling the soldiers the LA protests are a national
security risk.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Here's more of what he had to say.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Before going further, I want to say a few words
about the situation in Los Angeles, California. Have you heard
of the place where I've deployed thousands of National Guard
troops and hundreds of Marines to protect federal law enforcement
from the attacks of a vicious and violent mob. And
some of the radical left they say, oh, that's not nice. Well,
(05:33):
if we didn't do it, there wouldn't be a Los
Angeles would be burning today, just like the houses were
burning a number of months ago. Generations of army heroes
did not shed their blood on distant shores only to
watch our country be destroyed by invasion and third world
lawlessness here at home, like is happening in California. As
(05:54):
commander in chief, I will not let that happens, never
going to happen. What you're witnessing in California is a
full blown assault on peace, on public order, and a
national sovereignty carried out by rioters bearing foreign flags with
the aim of continuing a foreign invasion of our country.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
We're not going to let that happen.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Under the Trump administration. This anarchy will not stand. We
will not allow federal agents to be attacked, and we
will not allow an American city to be invaded and
conquered by a foreign enemy. That's what they are. A
lot of those people will lit in here by the
Biden administration. They just poured right in.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
They just poured right in now.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
There's also another few that is happening right now, and
that is between Gavin News Simmon, Donald Trump, and the
latest clash is well over a lie. Apparently the Gaven
News I'm told about not having a call with President Trump. Well,
guess what the Trump administration says. We've got the receipts.
President Trump telling Fox News did he contact the Gaven
(06:58):
News from the governor of California on June seventh, and
in fact, they spoke for about sixteen minutes to discuss
the unrest in Los Angeles. He's now offered a screenshot
of a call log as proof. Newsom, of course, is
denying any communication with Donald Trump in the past day,
stating there was quote no call or voicemail and accusing
(07:19):
the White House of misleading the public.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Now, he maintained that while he.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Did speak with Trump late Friday night around one thirty
am Saturday, the National Guard deployment never came up during
the nearly twenty minute conversation. He called Trump a stone
cold liar for mischaracterizing what happened in the call. Now,
the key discrepancy here is this, the log showed June
seventh at won twenty three am, and he publicly declared
(07:45):
the call happened a day ago. Newsom now is acknowledging
a Friday late night chat, but emphasized the national Guard
issue was not mentioned then, and then any claim of
a recent call is quote false. So yet again you've
got a story changing and the governor lying to the people,
all for a political reason. The disagreement is also part
(08:09):
of the escalating tension around Donald Trump having to send
in the National Guard and the people in la feeling unsafe.
This is now moving into multiple days of protests and
it does not look like the governor or the mayor
has anything really under control. In fact, take a listen
to the mayor of La in her own words at
(08:31):
her press conference, we need.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
To stop the raids. There should should not be happening
in our city. It is not warranted and it does
The only thing it does is contribute to chaos. This
was chaos that was started at Washington, DC on Thursday.
The city was peaceful on Friday. It was not because
(08:53):
of the intervention of the federal government.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
That also a lie from the mayor.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
We have pictures and proof of cars being set on
fire before the National Guard was sent in.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
We have pictures and.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Proof video of the police being attacked in LA The
Vice President JD Vance putting a tweet out saying this.
Kevin Newsom says he didn't have a problem until Trump
got involved. Both of these photos were taken before the
President authorized the National Guard to go protect our border
patrol in California. The pictures show the massive smoke, cars
(09:28):
on fire and also the vandalism of actual police cars
by the rioteurs. JD Vance goes on to say, this
does this look like quote unquote no problem. Newsom and
his students Kene Bass have encouraged the riots because their
entire political movement exists for one purpose, to promote mass
(09:48):
migration into our country. It is their reason for being Democratic.
Leadership has no solution for the economy, for prosperity, or
for security. They use their power when they're in the
majority to import millions of illegal immigrants, and when they're
in the opposition, they do everything possible to prevent deportations.
(10:10):
Jadie Vance went on to say, quote, under Newsom's leadership,
Medicaid was extended to all legal immigrants in twenty twenty four.
This means that he elected to take health care from
impoverished and disabled Californians and give it to illegal aliens.
And now everything is President Trump's fault. Give me a break.
If you want to know why illegal aliens flock to
(10:31):
your state, stop accusing Donald Trump. Look in the mirror.
If you want to know why border patrol fear for
their lives over enforcing the law, look in the mirror.
It was your policies that encourage mass migration into California.
Your policies that protected those migrants from common sense law enforcement.
Your policies that offered massive welfare benefits to reward illegal immigrants.
(10:56):
Your policies that allowed those illegal immigrants and their sympathizers
to assault our law enforcement, your policies that allowed Los
Angeles to turn into a war zone. You sure as
hell had a problem before President Trump came along. The
problem is you, Now, the facts are a stubborn thing,
and the fact is there was anarchy and looting and
(11:19):
cars being set on fire, roadways being shut down, and
police being attacked before Donald Trump sent in the National Guard.
So make sure that you share this information with everyone
you know, because the facts are a stubborn thing, especially
on this issue.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
And finally, story number.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Three, President Trump not backing down and protecting LA and
any other city where these radical extremists are starting these riots.
At Fort Bragg, Donald Trump addressed US troops and vowed
deliberate Los Angeles, blasting the situation as third world lawlessness
and accusing rioters of bearing foreign flags. He also defended
(12:01):
the deployment of approximately four thousand National Guard troops and
seven hundred marines, citing their role in protecting ice agents
and federal buildings. Now, Trump also called the protesters animals,
a foreign enemy and paid trouble makers, which we'll have
more on that story of where the money's coming from
for all of these protests, asserting that somebody's paying them,
(12:25):
and we now have an investigation into that. He warned
that he would invoke the Insurrection Act if protests reach
other cities, claiming he would send troops everywhere to maintain order.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Now.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Trump has framed the unrest as part of a broader threat,
describing it as a full blown assault on peace, on
public order, and national sovereignty. He directly challenged California leaders,
calling Governor Gavin Newsom newscum and saying they are afraid
to act. Trump also insists his forceful response demonstrates decisive
(13:00):
leadership and exactly what the American people voted for.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Well.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
The President was also at the Kennedy Center walking the
red carpet with his wife, the First Lady, and he
was asked about some of these decisions.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Take a listen, So, will you be pulling back on
the military?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Will you be pulling back on the military presence in
Los Angeles and in California soon?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
What's the barometer you're using going to.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Be Absolutely, if we weren't there, if we didn't bring
in the National Good and the Marines, you would probably
have a city that was burning to the ground, just
like it was a number of months ago with the
housing you would have had a big problem there.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
We were.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
In fact, the police chieftain said so much. If you
look at what his statements where he said, we're very
lucky to have had that. If we weren't there, that
city would have been burning to the ground, would be
burning right now.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
To unrest.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
What are you prepared to do, sir, about what if
this turns well?
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Just have spread out of sixteen cities across the US.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
And that's what you're saying. I do I believe you.
I don't think so well. I got I can tell
you that what we have. What we have is a
situation in Los Angeles that was caused by gross and confidence.
They didn't have the police to handle it. The police
were asking us to come in. They were very late.
We had to go in to save a lot of
ice officers, as you know, who were held up. They
(14:23):
were pulled up in a building and they were being attacked,
and the military went in. The National Guarden went in
and got them. The police weren't able, unfortunately, to move
fast enough, but we moved fast enough, and while we
were there, we stayed there and we stopped tremendous destruction
and death. We stopped death. We stopped a lot. And
if you look at them cutting up and breaking up
(14:44):
the sidewalk and getting it and using it as a weapon.
Did you see that with the curb where they're breaking
up the curb, nice curb and they break it up
with a hammer because they couldn't get the bricks in.
You know, they got caught with the bricks. We have
them under arrest. They were bringing bricks into throw at our.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Police, bringing in bricks to throw at our police. Who
paid for the bricks is the big question now that
everyone is asking.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
But the President is also calling on leaders governors.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
To take the lead, take a stand and stop the anarchy.
And guess what many conservative governors are doing exactly that.
The governor of Texas, for example, Greg Abbott, has proactively
deployed the National Guard to San Antonio ahead of planned
anti ice demonstrations. Gavin Newsom, that's how it's done. Texas,
(15:34):
the governor said, will not be under siege like California.
And that's exactly the type of leadership that so many
Americans are looking for.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
