Me and my partner.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
When I tell him this ship, I can't wait now
because every day we be like, bro, hey, he hit
me all the time, like you in Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (00:30):

Saying you've been fat. We love you.

Speaker 2 (00:40):

generational talent. And I had to tell you that I
don't have no I don't have no music questions.

my body, but you hear he ha bro.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Love that and I'm hurting me out.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
I need to just even like your haircut was I
kind of baby wanted to cut their hair off with
like the deep bang short haircut with the highlights.

Speaker 3 (01:23):

I've never seen him blood man's relious.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Blush.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I just don't understand.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
We're gonna get some music questions out the way. While
he finished blushing. Yeah, oh, let me ask you this.
You ain't vet in the game, pen game. We all
know about you, We're very familiar with it. How do
you feel about the state of R and B in
twenty twenty five?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
The state of R and B in twenty twenty five,
it's actually.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
It's turning a corner. It's becoming more soulful. I'm proud
of it. Like it's something we're getting back to a place.
I mean, I think we can still kind of filter
out some of the vulgarity and get even closer to love.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
But we're we're on our way back to love. So
I love that.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Yeah, I like that you said that because I'm not
gonna lie. When I like Rashet music, I do. But
when I'm listening to my R and B bad I'm
trying to.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Make sweet love. Yeah, it's so hard.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Like I was trying to make like a Bay playlist,
right without things that were offensive to him or me.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, it was a little hard.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
It's hard to stay in the vibe without like oh
oh oh, man, I can't use that one, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
But we're getting back. We're getting back to love, getting
back to me. We need black love. We got to
promote that.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Man speak what you like to do on like Saturdays,
on Saturday when like you ain't.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Working, what would you be liking to do? Man?

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Work? Play? Well, my work is play. So I like
to write.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
I like to.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
I might rehearse, you know.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I have like a microphone set up in my house,
and I might go just sing, you know, so work
for me and play.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
I might go record. I might go to my studio.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
And and lay some vocals or write a bridge to something,
you know. So I think that's one of the things
that I'm so fortunate for because for me, I get
aid to do what I already.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Would be doing. You know, would you like to? I
like to?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I like uh, I like everything. I like everything. I'm
a foodie. I like everything, literally everything. I like every
cuisine from every country like every Yeah, my love, my
palette is very vast, very fast.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Very fast.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
I wish the economy was messed up right now. You
met me at the rooms, and.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
You're very multi fastty Like outside of music, I've seen
you've been in your acting bag lately. Yes, So if
that's something that you've always wanted to do, or is
that something that you just stumbled up on.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I guess a little bit of both because I had
I was a theater major at Emory University here.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Okay, so it was and I grew up like.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Doing musical theater things when I was a child, but
I got away.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
From it music, you know.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
So my only experience prior to becoming an artist was.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Music video.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Shooting music video, Uh huh, that's where you can get
your little acting on. But yeah, getting back to that
was absolutely like someone like.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
A mooncom for me.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
And also I felt like such a novice, like I
felt like I didn't know shit.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
I felt like I.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Was starting over with it, which I love to I
love to feel like I'm growing and learning something new.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I never want to feel like I am at the
pinnacle of any art. I'm always growing, always learning, and
that's what acting does for me too.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Yeah, man, I love that is Harald artists like whether
old art. Now, if you haven't worked with that, you like,
I can write a song for them.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
We can go to the top.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Okay, I'm gonna have to go with the late great DiAngelo.
And not just because he's on the forefront of our minds.
I actually tried to work with it out and when
he was alive, but he wasn't working at that time.
So that was one dream that it's obviously reignited. Like oh, like,
I'm gutted as a fan, as a songwriter, I'm gutted

(05:58):
that that can never happen. So yeah, But also Lauren Hill,
it's a question.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I want to know.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Okay, what's your comfort show?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
What's my what your comfort show? Comfort show show? Yeah
that you watch?

Speaker 3 (06:14):

artist to see a city that you're from and that
you love.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Hoh, something like this.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Man.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
First of all, it's like a reunion because these are
people like knowing in the industry. Almost shoot, I don't
want to hate myself, but I know you are.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
I know I've not like there. There are people in
here that I've known for like thirty years.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
So it's a reunion. It's black.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
It's beautiful, like there's so much beauty here.

this and it be cool. Cong covid is that we
don't got no gang violence, Like damn, you know what
I mean. It's like it's love. So it feels amazing.

these interviews and then they be like, what kind of
