Pickpockets, goldfish, playoffs.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Come on, man, we're talking to the movers, the shakers,
s heart breakers, the parking space fillers, and this dog
that we got in here with us, right here, dog off,
the real multi talented singer, actor, comedian problem.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
I guess a little bit, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Look, little drama man, none other than the Jacob Latimore.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Hey, what's popping?

twenty five.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Man, it's like it's a good time. It's a good
time right.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Now, man, what you've been up to?
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Just drop my album May second title j L Season
seven of the Shot in right Now for new for
season eight, Don't Play with mante.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Hey, God, God good Man, just working it out.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
You know, that's big in the TV world. You know
they used to say anything past five, anything past five
is it's lit. So I'm I'm super grateful. I mean,
because you know, the film industry like turned off for
a minute, like it was like a whole film strike.
So but you Alton took that franchise to a whole
nother level. Yeah, I mean, shout out to Lena.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Man.
Speaker 4 (01:45):
It's a big ensemble cast, Like it's so many characters
and it's like it's a dope way for to bridge
the gap between og OG actors in the game and
then like a lot of these new actors that's just
starting out, this is a launching path for their career,
is you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
You know, one of my favorite things about the show
is watching how far the story can evolve, just watching
the characters developed.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
You know.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yeah, it's just real and raw.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
Like we we don't try to always please people with
things like you know what I mean, And it's going
through like some stuff like he's like he's having to
take responsibility, but sometimes he complain a little bit, you.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Know what I mean, the girls, why he complaining that's
his son.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
But it's like, that's that's real life. You really stressed out.
You're not always like okay, yeah I got it.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
We were just trying to about what the baby dad
been going through.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah, we need Tyler got to hear it, bro.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
You know what, Like even on the show, like you
showed a sign of like the baby daddy could be
cool with the boyfriend.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Hey man, people need to see that in real life.
It can called co parent. It can happen. It can't happen.
It definitely can't happen.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
So I mean, we definitely we're seeing like a young
couple like Emmitt and Keisha be forgiving and gracious and
like work each other, work each other's like things out.
And you see this young couple like really doing life together.
You know, it ain't always pretty, you know what I mean.
So it's like, I think it's so dope to see
on screen because we're in the generation now it's like
(03:13):
you do one thing, it's we're gone.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Your first little mistake, were out of there. We ain't
about to feel nobody going through like we're done.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
We've done the music absolutely, Yeah, yeah, I mean we
gotta we gotta fight for the love, man, we gotta
fight for unity and family.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Like, I think that's trying to do it, man, you
know what I mean, R and B. I've always done it.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
I think it's just the timing of just where I'm
at right now, Like a lot of people don't even
know I do music, Like that's that's I feel like
a new artist right now.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
That's what I was saying, Bros.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Like I was about to ask you, you going and
you're shooting this show that's wildly successful, then you going
to the studio to like basically your other job. How
do you keep the passion going for both and give
them both a hundred.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
It's been times where I stayed out of the studio
for like a year or six months, you know what
I mean. So I've been working on the album since
season four, So I recorded a batch of songs that year,
then was out the studio for a few months.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
Live with those records.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
I may listen to them in between scenes while we're filming.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I'm like, oh, this still sounds.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
Good a year later, Like we gotta keep this one,
gotta buy this, we gotta keep that in the vault,
you know what I mean. And that's why I was like,
let me take my time with this album. So if
I do drop an album, like it's like it's timeless.
It don't feel it feel good no matter what era
were in.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Do that keep you hungry?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
No, Like even though you know you're successful, but like
you still want to prove yourself as a musician.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
So it's like, yeah, they.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Sleeping on me. I gotta wake them up.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yeah, Cause I mean you gotta think, like nobody's reached
all their territory yet, you know what I mean. It's
the world so big man, Like it's countries that I
could walk into. They've never seen the shot, they've never
heard them my music. They don't even know who you
know what I mean. So I think it's always good
to know, like, hey, there's always more territory to conquer.
But also just also focus on your fans too, because
sometimes you can drive it's so crazy trying to get
(05:01):
the whole world involved. But you know, when you're just
trying to create a business and create a brand, you
just need your fans. You need a good amount of
your fans to be supportive and you can capitalize on it.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Gotch. Yeah, it can't change too much too fast. Yeah,
but you got to bring them along. Like some people
like to be a part of the movement, absolutely growth,
and they see the potential and they want to be
down with you to see you get to that.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Other sad absolutely because sometimes like when I find a
new artist and then I see a show of theirs,
I'm like, oh, they fans singing back to them. Let
me go listen to the album, you know what I mean?
Because I think that's what's happening with a lot of artists,
you know what I mean. So many artists out got
their own following and they had that catalog, just catalog,
and it's so much content dropping at once now, you
know what I'm saying. Like it's like it's like eighty
(05:44):
eighty albums a year from one artist dropping, you know
what I'm saying. So like you gotta really keep.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Going the you don't even know they out and to
caure somebody listening to it, all right, man. By twenty
twenty five b T Awards, we came up with our
own segment.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
Segment is called what the fuck you got on? Okay,
and you just tell them what you got? I mean,
I got it on some Gucci shoes. Man, This is real, real, Gucci. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Think I forget what shirt this is. I ain't gonna
lie I forgot. I forgot, But it's not about the brand.
Just explain you with youre just talking so fitted fitted shirt,
you know, good, good texture, comfortable, you know. Don't get
the hat to NYC he had. Actually it's a Harley
Davison n y he had. It's nice, you know what
I mean. Got the jury on not too much, you know,
real real respectful. Yeah, clean a little street but a
(06:34):
little just keeping it clean. But I'm in the way,
I mean in the way outside.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Yeah, that's let them know where they can follow you
and catch up with everything you got.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
And about this album, man, Yes, sir, JL album out
right now. R and b is has never left. Man,
what's the what's the song we need to go to
right now? We download that jail album. What's the song
we need to listen to? Like the fans loving again,
the fans loving Win Win right now on all my
social media at Jacob black the More, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram,
what else out there? Some other stuff out there everything
(07:05):
at Jacob Blatimore. So again that's the song again? Yeah,
shout out to my brother Widie McClain. He produced it.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Yeah, Yeah, twenty twenty five b T Awards, Jacob Lattimore,
We got It. J
