Speaker 1 (00:01):
Amber and Lacy are your favorite girls. We were voted
number one podcast in the world. It's the Ember and
Lacy Lacy and Amber. Guys, did you know that we
were voted number one podcast in the world and then
they're a galaxy.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah, a lot of aliens voted. But you guys are
ready to hear that the only people in the universe,
You guys, I'm crazy right now. Welcome to the Amber
and Lacy, Lacy and Ember Show. My name is Amber
Idrisoba Lazy Lamar. Oh okay, well what names lately? Yeah,
(00:41):
I'm just trying to honor all of the people I've married.
Oh yeah, So guys, this is a bit of a
different podcast. Okay, today's a different episode. You want to
know why because we brought Jenny before the first break.
Oh oh, our guest today is Jenny. Jenny's last name
(01:02):
is Hagel, her first name is Jenny. Her middle name
Kate Middleton. Oh, that's a lot going on. Yeah, I
mean it's a long name, yeah, Hagel. Well, I mean
I should know her name. She's my best friend, and
that's true. She is my best friend. All guys. We
say that about everybody on the show. But this time advice,
Ward to go, it's actually real. Jenny Hagel. Jenny Hagel
(01:26):
is the EP and head writer of the Amber Ruffin showed.
She is a writer on Late Night with Seth Myers,
and she wrote on every MTV show you know, for
like a fucking ten year span there it was crazy.
Right now, you can catch her in Jenny Hagel gives advice.
They're doing shows all around New York City, so get
(01:48):
out see a show. I'll be there. Drunk is hailed
in the back shouting shit as if I'm in the
show when I'm out. Hey, Jenny, how's it going?
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Hey, I'm great, and I'm so excited to be here
you guys with my best friend and Amber. I really
got you and you thought I.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Was going to sag you did get Jenny. This is
not nice. I'm telling how. I'm just going to jump
right in. How did you and Jenny meet? We were
in the war, but it was.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
The Burger War. Remember when Remember when McDonald's they kept
lowering their burger prices in like the ninties. It was
we met in the Burger War.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
We met in the Burger War. I was McDonald's, she
was Burger king Uh.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
So we met at Second City, Denver. Amber and I
are both Second City alumnae, and at one point Second
City decided that they were going to try to open
a theater in Denver. This is before the economic recession
when people were flying high and flush with cash, and
Second City said, what if we opened a theater in Denver?
And Amber and I were both added separately to the cast.
We had boilth done improv in Chicago, but we had
(03:03):
never crossed paths there. We both got added to the
cast and it was the best because we did a
show every night at eight o'clock. Our call time was
seven thirty at the theater, and we had absolutely nothing
to do all day until then. Every day, every day
we had nothing to do, and we weren't from Denver,
so we knew nobody in Denver, so we would just
hang out together all day. Every day we would do
(03:24):
all and I am a real nerd for travel guide,
so I would like open a travel guide or go
to some like explore Denver website and I'd be like, Oh,
there's a museum there. This is real. The International Museum
of Figure Skating is in Colorado Springs. I got a
car you want to go to the Museum of Finger Skating,
Like we would just go on these weird little adventures
in Colorado.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
But yeah, I love it. What year was this that
you meant? Two thousand and six? Seven, six seven, Maybe
it's a long time you got six, I think, yeah, yeah,
all we're all all married, couple basically. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
The cool thing is that was like the last minute,
the last minute of humanity where you could lose touch
with somebody, because it was right before Facebook became like
a ubiquitous thing. So we worked there for six months
and then Amber went back to Amsterdam and I went
back to Chicago, and we were like, this was great,
let's keep in touch. We absolutely forgot to and we
didn't talk for maybe like two years, and then Amber
(04:19):
got hired to write for Late Night with Seth Myers
and sent me this really lovely message on Facebook and
was like, hey, remember me, I'm moving to New York.
Let's get together.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
I remember you.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Wrote for a Drink and a Hug, which is like
the most Amber thing. It was so sweet, and I wrote, well,
you're never going to believe this. I'm sitting in a
hospital bed because I just had a baby. So we
get together in like eight weeks when I've pulled myself together,
and that is when we saw it was theother. Eight
weeks later she came oud and held the baby and
(04:48):
that's it. And then from then on, I have to say,
we hadn't seen each other in like maybe two years,
and it was truly like we had not. I always
forget there was a period where we didn't talk, because
it was like we picked up like we had not
missed a beat.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, I love Yay. We went on to work together
at late night with Seth Meyers where we still work
and the rest and the rest is history. Yay. Yeah,
we had fun in Denver. You forget, Yeah, you.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Forget it, and you forget what it's like to be
that young and have have no real heavy demands on you.
I mean, you know, you're like worried about paying rent
and stuff like that. But like I remember one time
Amber just called me and was like I heard, if
you go to the mac counter at the mall, you
can get a free makeover as long as you buy
two things. Do you want to go? And if you
(05:36):
think I had anywhere to go where I needed a
full face of makeup, I did not. But I was like, yeah,
let's go get a free full face of makeup. And
then we went and then we bought like two eyepencil
sharpeners because they were the cheapest things. We just went
and got full faces of makeup just to fill time.
Because that's what you're doing in your twenties. You're not
(05:57):
like you.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah, Like, we didn't have to rent then because the
theater owned the building, like you, in that building had
a nice place. I visited, Jenny. Do you remember when,
Oh my god, it's the two people whose names I
confuse with one another. I call Jenny Laid Jenny all
the time and I call Lacey Joe Lacey. It will
(06:22):
not stop and today will be just l j Lacey is.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
But it's true.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
So we performed at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts,
which is a very fancy performance space. It's like the
Kennedy Center of Colorado, and right across the street from them,
they owned several apartment buildings, so they put actors from
the shows in there, and so we did not make
a lot of money. But to not have to pay
rent for a few months in your twenties, it makes
you think you are rich.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
Rich and That was when my cheesecake factory addiction started,
because we were right down the street from the cheesecake factory,
and I would eat it that all the time, and
anytime I had a date, I would be like, meet
my ass at the cheesecake Factory. I was there all
the time.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
The thing I remember about Denver is that right across
or maybe like a block from the theater was a
bar called the Front Porch. I don't know if it's
still there, Yeah, And that bar came up with the
best gimmick to get people in the door I've ever seen,
which was they put out a calendar every month, and
on the calendar, on every day of the month was
a name, a person's first name, and if it was
(07:25):
if your name was that day, you drank for free
that night.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
We lived for that calendar to come out, and we
would snatch the pit and of course this is like
still in the infancy of the internet, so we would
go there physically snatch a paper copy of that calendar
in the first of the month and put it up backstage,
and if any of our names were that day, we
would all clear our plans and the whole cast would
go there so that that one person could drink for free.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
But our names were Tim, Dave, Beth, Jenny Amber, like
our names were on that Mother Suffers showed up. Yes,
it did show up, Yes it did. Did you tell
them to put it on there? No? Just random was
a very common.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Okay, I never thought about it. I remember one time
one cast member was worried about me. He goes, look,
it's Jennifer night tonight. Let's can we just go, but
can we agree if it's too crowded, we just go
somewhere else and we all just buy your drinks. So
many jennifermare Ye were there.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
No, it was fine, guys, that's a great get Jenny, here,
here comes, Here goes Jenny. Jenny. Do you remember when
Lacey came to visit us in Denver and she brought
a giant cutout of her daughter and this was for
Thanksgiving and we all had Thanksgiving together, I think I do.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Then we take pictures with it.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Pictures with the giant cut out of my niece. It
was in the whatever skip you did, whatever you had
it on the stage at one time. It did because
you said something and you were like, and this cute
baby or a cute baby or something of that. Her
picture came up, but I just remember that great. But yeah,
Lacy had asked for a picture of her daughter, but
(09:07):
they made it so huge that it was literally a
cutout almost the size of the child, and we took
it everywhere and put it in like a chair. Thinks
can be bad.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
One thing I really loved about that gig, though, is
I remember when it was offered to me, the producers
at Second City are like, you know, you can think
about it, and blah blah blah. Would you want to
go to Denver for X amount of time? But I
think that, like in our line of work, there are
so few places you can live and do this work right,
and mostly it's LA and New York. And I remember
thinking like, what a cool opportunity because with most jobs,
like if you're a teacher or a dentist or whatever,
(09:39):
you can choose the city that you think best suits you.
And with our line of work, you really can't do that.
And so I remember thinking, this is so cool. This
is like getting to do a semester abroad.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
So I remember being thinking like, I don't know what
happens in Colorado. I have never seen the Rocky Mountains.
I don't know what goes on there, and I just
remember thinking like, yeah, I will go specifically for this reason,
like I obviously wanted to go and write and perform comedy,
but also really it was more like, let me go
have a life experience that I'm not once I leave here,
it's pretty much I'm going to probably settle in either
New York or LA and then that's it. So I
just remember thinking like, let me go more for life
(10:08):
reasons than anything, and it was and I made them.
I really really made the most out of it, like
anything I get, any road trip, like I road trip
to Cheyenne, Wyoming, Yeah, I were I went to Santa Fe.
I really was like, I don't cause I'm from the
East Coast, so I was like, I don't know this region.
I thought that part of it was just so cool.
It was really neat to just see another part of
(10:28):
the country.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Jenny, I don't like what you just said, because why
are you acting like you would have said no to
a job Jenny's talking about. I really took into consideration
where geographically, no, you didn't. You took that job because
you were hungry for food and thirsty for rent.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
But I just going back to Chicago and tried to
continue acting in Chicago. Would have tried to be like, well,
now it's the time where I go to LA and
try to make it.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
You know, in that sense, would you have or would
you have taken this pace for six months?
Speaker 3 (11:01):
No, that's true.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
I mean I was at a point where I could
not have said no to a paycheck. If they were like,
this is taking place on the sun, I'd be like, well,
I got to go.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
To I had a job. I was on the Detroit
main stage.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
So you had to leave Detroit main stage. Gee, oh
shut my mouth.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Yeah, so I say, opportunity to stay in Detroit main
stage or to go to Denver?
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Did you make the right decision? Yes, yay.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I've been there for a year and three months, so
I kind of was on a little bit of collecting
life experiences tour, just luckily being able to do it
through comedy.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
I had been living in ann Arbor, Michigan for a
year and three months, which was another incredible experience. It
was like the first time I got to have my
own apartment with no roommate. I made a really cool
collection of friends, all of whom are people that you
and I know now like I hung out with like
Jamie Moyer and Sam Richardson and Sam Robinson then and
I'm Adam Peacock Attle friend Quintin Hicks and Sean Hanlon
like that was my crew back then. Had the best
(11:54):
time and so but I also like, who knows what
goes on in Michigan. I didn't know. I had the
best time there. Loved it now, you know. And then
I was like, let's find out what's happening in Denver.
And then I got to a point where someone I
was in Denver one time and someone goes, where are
you from? And I paused for a second because my
brain started short circuit because I didn't know how to
answer the question. Because I'd moved so many times in
a year and a half, I didn't I literally started
(12:15):
flipping through names of cities and didn't know what to say.
And I thought, I think it's time to pick a
place and just stay.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Ah, yeah, that's cute.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
But it was great. I loved it. I got to
have so many cool experiences. I really loved it.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Guys, you know what. I love our sponsors. We'll be
right back with more of the ember Lacy Lady Neighbor Show.
(12:57):
Hey everybody, we're back with more of the Amber and
Lacey Lacy and Amber Show. Today's guest Jennifer Hackel. Now
her middle name. I said it. It's just a long pause.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Her name is Jennifer four underscores. My parents were very innovative.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Yeah. Interesting. I have a question. When you guys were
in Colorado, did both of you meet Barack Obama? No,
that was in Chicago. Oh I made that up. He
wasn't in No Colorado, So I was wondering. I was like,
was that and okay, never mind, guys, I feel really
(13:36):
bad Barack Obama. While he was campaigning, one of his
stops was the Second City because he's from Chicago, and
the Second City was in Chicago, and he came during
a show called Between Barack and a Hard Place, and
we did a fundraiser for him where we performed part
of our show and it was really cool. And then
(13:56):
afterwards he gave a speech. But yeah, we got to
meet the president. But when we met him, he was
not the president. He was about to be president. And
every time I say that in front of one of
my friends, Jenny, I'll tell you his name. After the show.
He always goes, well, he wasn't the president then, so
so I always try to make that distinction when I say,
(14:18):
when I tell this story, I can guess who that was,
you can't, but also them, And that's how mind Melody
Jenny and I are. Yeah, so that's that's Barack Obama.
All right, But we did meet Hillary Clinton on Late
Night Seth Meyers. Does that help you? That does that does?
I'm glad you know. What we usually do on the
(14:39):
show is like sometimes we do ice breakers.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
There is no Yeah, it's been really hard for me
to warm up to you guys.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
I this is what I need. Well, it's going to
be kind of like the show where they separate the
couples and ask the questions, but we're not going to
be great idea Jenny, Yes, I'm going to ask you
what is is like the craziest thing that you and
Amber have encountered? Like, if I go, what is the
(15:10):
absolute craziest night you guys had a night you did something,
it was crazy, you saw something bizarre. What would Amber say?
Should I be more specific? You should be less specific?
Less specific? Okay, well then I don't know I should
be thinking the.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Same because we've been on such an insane ride together.
It's just we've been so privileged to go from being
on little Ding Dong improv teams, to be at the
Emmys together multiple times and be at the Golden Globes
that I don't oh my.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
God, I didn't even think of the Emmys.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
Okay, let's say I mean Hillary Clinton. I was at
Amber's house, So I don't even know.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
How to be true. That was fun. That is true.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
So it's so funny because we've had all those experiences
interacting with celebrities. But the thing I immediately thought of,
the thing I think was the craziest, and that should
have been a predictor that Amber and I were going
to be best friends, was when we were in Denver.
We were very early into knowing each other and in
the Denver cast. This is one thing that's really been
amazing about my I'm gonna get I'm gonna real departure
(16:11):
and I will get sincere for just a nanosecond, but
don't worry, I'll get back to bits. Is that Amber
has always really really made me feel seen both as
a person of color and as a queer person, and
just something that like, you know, if we're in a
group because I know I passed the straight and I
passed as a white person, and so I think, like,
what I love is that Amber always makes me feel like, no, no,
you are who you are and that's great. And so
the cast in Denver, other than Amber and I was
(16:33):
all white people and everybody was straight and blah blah
blah blah blah. So we're out one night for drinks
and we're at this bar in Denver. We're on this
big patio and everybody's cutting up and all of us
are sitting around the table and behind us, and this is,
you know, early two thousands, so it's still okay to
say it was a different time, Lacey.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
It's a different time. Oh no, it was a sad time.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
It was a different time.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Yeah, be scary, Scar.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
And there was a group of guys behind us, and
they're all cutting up and joking around, and one of
them very loudly says the gaysler the f one, and
then they just keep rolling there, laughing and laughing, and
everybody at our tables just you know, rolls along, and
nobody at our table hears it. It's fine, but just
nobody happened to hear it, but you know, like when
you're that thing, you have a higher period, different frequency,
(17:15):
and so, and I didn't say anything to our table,
but I and I didn't even realize I did it.
But I must have gotten perceptibly stiffer a tiny bit,
and Amber just leaned over to me and said in
my ear very low. She goes, I heard it too,
And I had a beer bottle in front of me,
and she goes, don't throw that bottle away. We might
need it, right, And it was so cool that she
was like, I also heard it. I have your back.
If things get crazy, I'm here. But she's like, she
(17:37):
didn't say to the table, hey guys, someone's being behind us.
We all have to back up. Like she just was like,
I have your back. I also heard it. You are
not alone. It's cool. And I just was like, such
a cool thing to do, because also I would have
been like, I'm probably overreacting you guys.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Never mind. It sounds like Jenny is saying that I
was saying it as a joke, that I was not jokeing.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Like I did not think you were joking, And it was, oh.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Yeah, I mean the listener might think, guys, I was
actually I said, I don't know what you want to do,
but don't throw away that battle. Hey, let's do it.
Speaker 3 (18:12):
But I also feel and this is really gonna sound corny,
but I think as I came out later in life,
almost all my friends were straight, and so I think
it was also to like the beginning of me feeling like, oh,
I deserve to be like protected and defended. Like that's
really I mean it because it was like not that
my straight friends didn't, but it was just like, yeah,
it just was like really, it was a very very cool,
important moment that I was always stuck out for me
(18:33):
and also so cool and wild to have a friend
lean over and be like we're getting in a bar fight.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Or what we do, But that's wild'rean being in a
red carpet word by Zachty Cropper.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
That is wild. And I fucking loved it. And that's
the thing that was the first hint of like Amberstown
for whatever. Ride, Yeah, I never ride. What are we doing?
Another wild moment? This is probably another wild night? This
was also Denver? Is it okay that I say too?
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Yes, we were hanging out in Denver when time and
as me and Amber and then it was like a
theater complex. So we had our show going, but then
there was also like three or four or five other
plays happening at the same time. So sometimes afterwards we'd
be out and we'd see the cast of another show.
So we're all hanging out and hanging out and we
see another cast of a show, and one by one
they all start to go home, and then it's me,
Amber and this woman from another show and then she's like,
(19:19):
you guys want to get drinks some more, and we're
like okay, and then she's like, you guys want to
go back to one of your apartments. And I'm like,
I have beer at my apartment. So the three of
us go back to this apartment and I'm like, God,
this really this Thingy's really down to hang And so
it's me other lady and then find this Lady's like,
I got to use a bathroo, where's your bathroom? So
I don't know why I'm making your sound like she's
large March. She did not talk like that. She was like,
all right, where's your bathroom? So she goes to the
(19:40):
bathroom and then Amber turns to me and goes that
lady told me she wants to get with you, and
so I'm staying here until because I had a girlfriend
at the time and I wasn't interesting this woman. She's
like she told me that an hour ago. I am
not leaving you alone with her here so that you
are safe.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
And I was like what.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
I was like, I've been trying to catch your eye
for like two hours going on hang out.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Oh no, yeah, I'm so clueless.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
I'm like, oh, lots more beers.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
I like, I guess I do.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
I guess We're going to a seventh location. And they
were traffic eyes that need to be like, Jenny, let's
get out of here. That was the best that Amber
was like, Okay, I'm glad you finally had to go
to the bathroom. Here's what's actually And so finally when
we came back to the bathroom and I was like,
oh cartoony on, I gotta turn in, I was like,
I better go to bed. I have to be at
work at seven thirty pm tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Jenny, I have to say, you did not say what
I thought you were going to say. Oh, but what
I was going to say breaks the rules of what
you said. I was and I am pretty sure we
told this story on this podcast before go ahead. But
I ain't got but one life. So when Jenny was at Denver,
(20:59):
a fun fact about me is I adore Christmas. I
love it. It's thing. I think it's cool, and I
think it starts on November first, and I'm right. So
Jenny one day comes to me with Dave Colin, who
is also there, who we love. And Jenny and Dave
(21:20):
were like, we're taking you somewhere and we're not going
to tell you where. We will be gone for four hours.
And I'm like bet.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
So, We're like, be in the lobby at ten am,
do not ask any questions.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Like great, go to the lobby. I'm like, where are
we going? They're like, none of your business. Get in
the car, like excellent, fucking up a mountain somewhere to
like on like the side of a mountain. When we
get there, it starts to snow.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Yeah, because the elevation is so high. It was warm
when we left.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
It was warm when we left. We get up there
at snowing. I look and we are at a place
called I'm seventy percent sure it's called Christmas Town. And
in this place it just is Christmas and it's like
the North Pole and it's a magical land with like
elves and shit. And you walk around and you see
(22:15):
Santa's a workshop and everyone's dressed as an elf, and
there's like lemonade and stuff, and it is a year
round Christmas place and it's the cutest and the funnest
and no one on planet Earth loves that shit more
than me. I absolutely loaf doored it and was skipping
through like a delighted child. That I remember at the
(22:39):
end of the thing, you get to meet Santa. I'm
too old not to know that this is just some guy, like,
are you gonna sit on Santa's lap? But I'm like,
I will not be sitting on Santa's lap. I am yeah,
I will not be sitting on his lands lap. I
do not know him, like, but I do love this ship.
(23:02):
That was the coolest thing I think anyone has ever
done for me, was to be like, let's get in
a car, none of a business, let's go.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
There's nothing better though, There's no better feeling than having
the perfect surprise for somebody. And I always said, like,
if I ever won the lottery, here's what I wish.
I wish that some rich relative I've never heard of
would die and leave me millions of dollars.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
But don't want to win the lottery. Someone has to y.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
They leave me millions of dollars, but they stipulate you
can only spend it on like bits, because I need
to do it, because then it wouldn't be like, oh,
I should be giving this a charity like they stipulate
you can only spend it on bits that would be
so fun. It would just to have millions of dollars
to be like, Oh, I have this running joke with
(23:56):
Lacy and the funniest thing I could do.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
You know.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
It's like I know Lacey hates this song by Natalie
and Brulia. I'm gonna call Natalie and Brilliant Dollars to
shut up on Lacy's porch and sing it. To able
to spend money on bits like high level bits that
would be such a dream, but to know like guilt
free guilt for like I should be I should be
(24:21):
funding some public schools school lunch program. My hands are tied.
Sorry anyway, I'm sorry. I do want to say, in
case she's listening, I love that song.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
We love that we do. I feel we've been singing
a lot today. We do Uh, Jenny, that's correct. That
would be the absolute best life you'd have to spend
your life.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
But I want to die like at one hundred and
ten of natural causes in their sleep, not violent.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
And they're okay fine, as they're dying, they get eaten
by a bear, but they're already done. They're already okay, Jenny,
that's pretty great. Thanks, And I hope that one of
your relatives. Okay, I do I leave you money? I'm
fucking We can't ask any of these questions. We know her.
What we can do though, yeah, is read one of
(25:09):
my dms?
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Oh yes, I really want this.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Here on Amber and Lacy and Amber Show, we like
to inspect Lacey's d ms. Lacy is a single woman.
She's out on the prowl. She's in these streets and
she's in those apps. In these apps, people like to
leave her messages, normal, everyday healthy messages from smart human
(25:42):
beings who are caring and compassionate. And here are just
a few of those messages. This one you're just gonna love, okay,
because we got to dissect this one. If you are
from New York City or any borough, don't bother. If
you're more than a half an hour from Giant Stadium.
Don't bother. God gave me at another chance. I will
(26:05):
not waste this one or my time. I guess you
could say, I'm looking for my partner in crime, but
a real partner in crime, not one of those fake
ass partners in crime like I've come across time and
time again. And if this is somewhat offensive to you, well,
then why would I want to talk to you in
the first place.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
I'm looking for a real partner in crime. We're doing
robberies second degree, we're doing manslaughter, you're doing aiding and
a betting. We are doing kidnapping across state line.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
I was going to start this by saying, say you're
a bank Robert with us bank robber. I mean you're there,
you felt it? Wow, good for him for asking for
what he was. And Lacy, how dare you act like
you not? Like you're not down? Now, I can't show
this picture, but I can describe it, and then gennyes,
(27:02):
I'll show it later. I'm going to let go.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
I feel like I feel like you should describe it
and while you're describing, and I should try to draw it.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Please, Okay, this is I'm going to let because you
an amber amber seeing it for the first time, you're

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Tilted slightly okay, okay, yep.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
On the hat there is a picture of a woman
with her tongue sticking out. I'm getting in detail and
one of the little squares on it, so like she
took a drug or something. Okay, Yeah, that's on his hat. Okay,
you can add that or not, just letting you know
it's there. Underneath his hat sticking out is I'm gonna say,
(28:07):
a zebra stripe bendana almost Okay, this is tough.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Are we ever getting to him or his face or
is it just all all accessories?
Speaker 2 (28:19):
No? No, No, then, because I feel like I'm helping you,
just put that underneath the hat. Yeah. Then he has
just an oval type face with huge sunglasses on. Oh,
huge sunglasses, great aviators. Stare I say maybe aviators. Yeah, right,
give him a nose. He does have a nose, Just
any old nose will do, because this is great. M
(28:40):
h he's smiling. That makes smile. Then he's got a
lot of jewelry. Okay, okay, just one, two, three, four,
five necklaces mm hmm. And the piece the resistance is

don't you do another message? And then Amber and I
are both gonna draw what we think this person looks like.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Okay, Jenny, this is great.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
Okay, it's a pleasure to come on. As your guests
would end up being your producer.

men on apps. I really am so sorry. It's not
the same dating women on apps. It's not I'm really sorry.
Hold hold on, Okay, Hello, I need you to know.
I'm looking for an educated woman, someone that knows how
to dress right, talk right, and act right. If you
(32:00):
meet my mother. Look, if you meet my mother, please
don't be disrespectful.
Speaker 2 (32:07):
This has happened too many times. Now as they are drawing,
I need men out there to listen. Okay, Okay, I
need you not to send these messages. God, I wish
her crowned. Okay, so will you read the message one
more time? I can't, but he said, don't be disrespectful
to my mother. Just happened way too many times. So right,

the thing that's wrong with you is how you look.
It's happened to me, and I think you look like this.
I think this is how this man looks. Okay, so

Speaker 3 (32:53):
So I also think this man is a baby. I
think he's a baby who thinks he's a grown up.

But the other ones you're gonna respond to. She's gonna respond.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
No, no, no, no no.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
I'm not gonna respond to any of them. But this
one is just like whatever, Okay, I love it, we'll
do it. I look at life positively. Am I a joke? Yes?
I always like to smile. I'm not kidding. I'm very
hard working, but negative women and men should not be
bothering me. No one should bother me for money. I'm rich,
but yet I'm also stingy. Okay, Wow, I look at
(35:00):
life positively. He looks at life positively, not joking. Wow,
very hard working negative. Women and men shouldn't be bothering me.
No one should bother me for money. I'm rich, but
I'm a stingy man. Okay, you're not going to come close.
I think I am what's going on here? I feel
confident that I'm a lot going on in this picture. Guys,
(35:23):
this is really hard. Wait, so you chose this guy
because his picture is crazy? I chose him because his
picture is crazy because I was like, I'm not going
to read this message. It means nothing to me because
it's not the craziest message that I've ever gotten. But
the picture, it's a lot going on. You've got to read.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
I got it. This is like, this is like a photograph.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
I got it. Oh wow, Okay, okay, Jenny, let's see
it now. I like mister money bags.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Dude, he's rich, honeybags, he's rich, positive, he's having a
good time, but but he's stingy, stingy.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Say that he's stingy too. Yeah, okay, Amber, Okay, Now
my guy is just he's got a ton of money
all around him. Money's flying, it's flying all around. But
you can tell you s rich from his diamonds, balden teeth.
You add his pearls. Pearls ooh shiny outlook on life.
So he's got big happy eyes. That is accurate. Okay.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
What I like about his pearls is you can clutch
them where people bother.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Him ever, just saw them? Now? Can you see this, gentleman?
What's going on there? Do you see that? Jenny? Now,
what you can't see is amber describe what's behind him
and what's on his hair. I'd like to talk to
you about what I'm looking at. This is a man
with a bunch of civil holes in his jeans. He
has on a big, bright yellow T shirt that says
(36:51):
affliction on it, and it's got a big eagle, like
the kind that would be on a crest. And I'm
ninety percent sure this is a Confederate hat, Confederate army hat.
What is that is that? It can't be for the
Confederate It can't be. It's a Civil War hat. It's
a Civil war hat. I don't think they made anti
(37:12):
Confederate hats. Though they made Union hats, but I don't
think they made union hat.
Speaker 3 (37:16):
I I'm not enough of an ex clarinet.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Is it navy blue? No, it's black. Goal I think
it's just silliness, yes, okay, but then what's behind the member?
What is that little what is behind it? All is
a doll? And she is it a lazy It is lacy.
It's like a soldier doll. But anyway, that's all I
got to say. Wow, that's not a great picture. But
(37:40):
he like stood in front of all his favorite things,
which are a couple of dolls, and put on his
favorite hat, which is a piece of costume. And then
this is how I also like not to be gross.
This guy ugly. You guys are shooting yourselves in the foot.
(38:00):
We can't see though, his whole heads covered in that hat.
His whole head is covered. We don't know what. We
love the Civil War, and I don't know why I
didn't think black men liked it. But guys, what have
we looked at today? We saw vampire fangs vampire fangs.
We saw a whole man's restless beast. He goes blueskins
and a blue wig. And we saw a Confederate guy.
