Speaker 1 (00:00):
Holdo, holdo together some specially ship Welcome, come to the
Alert Show. You want to nor only Octavian to be
more exact, and it's your best friend Sue Solo. This
(00:24):
is the Fall Alert Show. Yes, sir, welcome to the
Ball Alert Show podcast. I go by the Day with
par Civics and it's your best friend Sue Solo. Welcome
to the show podcast. Yeah, you're ready to get into it,
let's do it in case you missed it. Just okay,
So most of y'all know so know West Coast for
(00:45):
being the bubbly, giggly little lady on the show ridiculousness.
But what y'all might not know is Sis was actually
signed to Little Wayne's Young Money label all the way
back in two thousand thirteen, which would have made her
the only Caucasian rapper under the label at the time. Right, okay,
so boom, fast forward to one. After a whole eight
(01:05):
years of not saying why she ain't made no hits
with the label, she is now saying basically, it's Nicki's fault.
Take a listen. It didn't work out because basically, um,
it was more because of certain people like just not
like you know, really like feeling me being part of
the click type thing. Yeah yeah, girl, Now you know
(01:26):
the barbs are about to come and drag your ass. Okay.
If you had other labels that you could have worked with,
you should have Winn and goutslide by one labels. Don't
do that, girl, don't do that. Okay. Now listen. If
the Kardashians can make lemonade out of lemon, so can
gorilla glue girl herself, Tessica Brown. Tessica is starting a
new hair Caroline y'all. It's called Forever Hair to help
(01:48):
folks suffering from hair loss and damage. Inspired by her
own you know, sticky situation. If you will. She went
viral when she couldn't get gorilla blue out of her hair.
She had some hair loss, and it is now making
lemonade out of lemons. Okay, look again, If the Kardashians
can do it, so can we go sist. Now I'm
gonna start calling our hot girl leader Megan a stallion,
(02:09):
hot and sweet. Okay. She paid the funeral service of
a fan when a friend of the deceased reached out
to her. You know, let's just talk about queen. Is
that is how you balance the thought life and the
Queen life. Okay, with more of the alert show message.
(02:31):
Al Right, it is time for baller mails. Are you ready?
I'm ready? Let's do it. Okay, dear or, I love
my fiance, but I can't stand his daughter. She's twelve
and she don't like me and I don't like her.
I feel absolutely terrible about it. But this little girl
is too disrespectful. I'm considering recanting the entire wedding over
(02:56):
this little girl because I Once I marry him, of
course she comes with it. Please help solo. Um, this
sounds like a problem. First of all, it's not even
once you marry him, she comes with him. She's with
him now. Okay, she is in your life right now.
You are currently engaged this man. I am assuming that
(03:17):
you guys lived together since y'all are engaged. If you
really considering calling this marriage off because you hate his
twelve year old daughter that bad, you need to go
ahead and do it now. If you cannot men relate
a relationship with this twelve year o little girl, just
don't don't do it. Because they don't even sound like
you want to make things right. It just sounds like
(03:39):
your options are either this little girls won't give it
the program or I'm out. So I just don't see
how this is gonna work out, twelve year old. They've
grown now, so I can imagine she's probably saying some
real slick ship too. A couple of things here that's
going on. I think it could also be an issue
with the ex. Maybe the X it's still in the picture,
(04:01):
or maybe the X is upset in some way and
talking smack about the new mom to be step mom
to be, which makes the twelve year old, you know,
obviously maybe side with the mom and not and not
like the new X mom not saying that that's the case, um,
(04:22):
or maybe she just don't like you. That's a whole
another thing. I would suggest that you, guys explore counseling.
I would explore counseling. But it seems like you are
at your wits end, and it looks like if you
are here considering, uh, counseling the entire wedding and being
over it looks like you're over it. I would say, uh,
try counseling if you haven't, and if not, your peace
(04:44):
of mind is a big thing. Baby. You do not
need to be stressed out in a relationship, marriage, no nothing,
sound like you're gonna mess around and jack this little
girl up. It won't need to hear you on the news,
on the moon, on the episode of Snap, and none
of that. So I think you need to go ahead
and explore maybe one more time, some counseling, some group counseling.
Talk to your fiance. Uh, if he a real one,
(05:06):
and if it's something that maybe the ex is doing
like the toy year old mom is doing, he's gonna
have to address that. Um, I haven't had that ever
in my you know, I got baby Mama's but I
did have to talk with my exes and my wife,
so everybody know that we all on the same page.
So don't try nobody. Don't nobody try nobody. We had
(05:28):
that conversation. So if you'll never had that conversation, I
think that's a good conversation to have. That that made
that could help and straighten some things out. But if
it don't and she's still disrespectful and it's destroying your
mental state of mind, I'm telling you listen, man, I
will take peace and mental stability over a forced relationship
any day. So if you feel like she messing up
(05:50):
your phone, say your mental your mental health, don't get
a get the hell about it though, tell you're not
get the hell about it up. I'm trying to figure
this out too, though. Is the twelve year old bad
with her dad as well and like her biological mom?
Or is she just or y'all who just don't get along?
Because if the twelfth year old is just a badass
twelve year old kid, and then that's just probably what
(06:11):
comes with it, maybe it's not really directed towards you.
But I agree with Rory. Okay, y'all. I feel like
people who are entering uh a new marriage relationship with
somebody already got kids, they always consider like going to
relationship counseling. But I'm sorry, if you're about to be
a step mom or a step parents in general, y'all
(06:33):
didn't have family counsel because the kid's opinions and feelings
mattered too. So maybe this twelve year old girl just
feels like y'all haven't valued her feelings correct And I
completely agree with that. So I would say, uh, exhaust
all options before you say you know what, I'm out,
because there is a child involved, and if you regardless
(06:53):
of if you like her not you are in her life,
so to abruptly leave, you know, that's not necessar certainly
a good thing. Uh. And it's not good. Uh, it's
not a good routine to show the kids. So you
clearly love this man, So just try all avenues first. Yeah,
try all avenues. But again, at the end of the day,
if it's something that's affecting your mental health, get the
(07:16):
hell on. Yeah. If the sex is as bad as
the twolve your daughter, then don't. All right, let's go
to commercial. We'll be back with more of the ball
Alert Show. We'll be right back with more of the
Baller Alert Show. Back to the Baller Alert Show. Start
Ferrori Simmons and Sue Solo. Welcome back to the ball
(07:37):
Alert Show podcast, available everywhere you get your podcast. Uh,
Sue Solo is not here in these streets talking to
some new talents, Solo, you wanna bring it in. Yes,
I spoke to l A, who is a rising R
and B superstar. I don't want to call him R
and B because he's not like an R and B
type guy. He's very eclectic. He does have a verson
tall sound. He's been working with people like Missego, who
(08:00):
is I don't know if y'all know, but if you
don't know, you need to get up on game. He
pulled up to the Great City of Atlanta, and of
course I had to pull up to talk to l A.
Let's talk, Hey, young what is your best friend? Sue
solo And this is a new episode of the Baller
Alert Show podcast. We have an upcoming superstar by way
of North Dakota, who is George Ray's singer artist, visionary lady,
(08:22):
lover all of that. L Ah, that's it. Yeah, wow, Dry,
you want to say thank you for having me too?
There is however you want to say, throw your whole
name out. I'm bad everybody knows you. When I connected
to I was like, oh wow, okay, that's hard l A.
(08:44):
You are a new upcoming artists I think most people
would say, but you've actually been working for a really
long time. Yeah, Like we're just talking about, you know,
the show that you came to years ago. I was like, wow,
I forgot all about that. Yeah, I've been I've been
putting in work for a while now, you know, trying
to get it together. Just so we don't exclude the listeners.
What he's talking about is I end up going to
(09:04):
like a outdoor showcase in Atlanta and they introduced this
artist l A. I had no idea who he was,
but then I got into it. The music I remember
it was like super melodic and it seemed like you
had fans that were on your gass at that show. Yeah,
I remember that, and I had a band with me too. Yeah,
that was a cool time. It was a vibe, definitely vibes. Now,
(09:26):
do you feel like Atlanta shows you a lot of love?
I know that you're born well born in North Dakota,
but raised in Georgia. You feel like you get a
lot of love from Georgia. I do, Actually, I mean
nine times I would tell when I do do shows here,
it sells out. And the last time we had on
tour wards sold out, which was tween nineteen. So I'm hoping,
you know, next time, which is in November when we're
(09:47):
going back out on tour um, that it sells out again.
Tour like a tour tour. Yeah, we're gonna do like
ten of twelve cities and then yeah, oh y'all got money?
All right? So tell us about the transition from being
an independent artist doing things like mood ring or Moodsling,
whatever that party was, to having an entire label behind
(10:08):
you to push your creativity, to have you working with
people that are amazing. I mean, I don't know how
the Mesego collab came about, but when I saw that,
I just felt like this was a collab that needed
to have exactly the pieces were put together for me. Yeah, no,
I mean, you know, coming from like the Internet and
like the SoundCloud era, I felt like eventually I hit
(10:31):
a ceiling, you know what I mean, because at that time,
streaming wasn't really a thing, you know what I mean.
It was like SoundCloud was like the new way. Then
once that kind of felt like it was declining, I
was kind of I remember specifically, um Crow Cherry hitting
me up from Apple Music about this new platform they're
about to prison called Apple Music and the streaming I
(10:52):
remember like it was yesterday and so like just just
saying that to say, like, it wasn't a thing yet,
Spotify and all that. So I didn't know where to go.
I was like, well, you know, I feel like I'm
hitting a ceiling on south Cloud. So you know, I
went ahead and took the leap of faith, you know,
I had a conversation with Kaylani actually about signing to
Atlantic home you just throwing big names out there like that. Yeah, yeah,
(11:19):
that's what I mean. We talked and then you know,
once I had a conversation with her, I felt a
little bit more comfortable about sign over Atlantic and UM,
but you know, everybody's situation isn't the same or any
label any artists. You know, everybody's journey is different, and
mine just so happened to you know, not really go
as playing with Atlantic. So we part ways last year early,
(11:40):
and now I'm on Motown to Capital. I feel like
a lot of independent artists, UM kind of have a
fear or a concern that getting signed would change the
creativity wise exactly. How do you get you know what
I mean? That was a big thing for me, Like
coming into this new situation, I was like, I want
creative control, Like I want to be able to say
(12:00):
what I'm gonna do and what I'm not gonna do. Um.
But even with the last situation I was and I
didn't really have a lot of people tugging me in
different directions. It's always I feel like that's always been
my stipulation and any any paperwork or any contracts is
like I need that creative control in that freedom to
do what I please. Uh So, yeah, I mean it
just depends on you and the way the way you
(12:22):
negotiate your stuff, you know. I mean it kind of
seems like a healty demand from an artist who essentially
might need the support from the label. So how do
you decide if it's actually a good mood for mood
for you or not? Um, I mean I think you
just kind of gauge that based off your fan base,
and like I guess, I mean, granted, if you have
(12:43):
a fan base, are you talking about just like upcoming
artists in general, just whatever your experience? Yeah, I mean yeah,
I think for me, it was just one of those
things like I saw a need for it, you know,
and and just decided to take that leap of faith
and see what. Also, it's just like a new experience,
you know, it's a new journey, and you know what,
that comes wisdom and you learn different things and you
(13:03):
come out of it learning new things. So I mean
that was kind of like the thing for me. I
was like I'm still young, let me go ahead and
just okay, that's cute friends. Yeah, I mean that something
back then. I still feel I still feel good though,
as you should. As you should, so let me ask you. Um,
(13:24):
your music, you talk a lot about love. Are you
in love with somebody right now? Yeah? Elaborate is the
somebody we know? No, No, I've done that before. I'm not.
You know. That's like I've done that before. It's that's
that's that's a little money. What did you do before? Huh?
(13:44):
Who did you do before? I don't know what you're
talking about. You said you've done that before. Ye, I
can't kiss and tell you that's cute, okay, Sorr. Yeah,
that wasn't fall at all. We didn't get exclusive to
you that time. I mean, I mean, so no more
famous women. I just know, I just you know, it
just didn't work out for me. It was a few
(14:07):
different a few different situations. It's just never really panned
out the way I wanted it to. I think it's
like scheduling and just kind of like just you know,
the pressures that come from both sides. It's just yeah,
it's it's a lot. So did anyone in particular influence
my city? Um? No, not really. I think my city
(14:29):
just became like for me and most of the songs.
I would say about ninetent of my songs come from
real life experiences and being vulnerable and transparent and a
lot of that stuff that you know, I've been through
and just kind of like trying to navigate those like
really hard times and kind of push that through the music. Um,
but for My City was one of those ones that
(14:50):
actually was like just a feel good, fun record, you know.
So it didn't really cause or a call for a
lot of um like deep you know, cooling from the soul.
You know. It was just like let's just have fun
and yeah, and I didn't really take too much thought
about like who was about. Was just like let's just
have fun, you know. Okay, fun music is always the best,
you know. Te Pain recently said, um, one of his
(15:11):
songs was just a joke, the by by You a
drink song and ends up changing his whole life. It
is what it is. So My City, featuring with Sego,
who is amazing, like he is a powerhouse in himself,
has already surpassed one point two million views on YouTube. Wow,
(15:32):
you didn't know that, Faller exclusive. I just broke the
t to the day of artists. I didn't know, you know,
it's yeah anyway, yeah, cool, okay, Wow, you are so humble.
That is amazing. That is away. So if there's anything
that you can tell Baller Nation something about you, because
I do think that for a lot of our listeners
(15:53):
this is a new experience. They're needing you for the
first time. So what is like something that is so
important that you feel they need to know about you.
You gotta give him a hook so that they look,
you know, look you up right. That's a good question.
I mean, I think I think, honestly, I'm just I'm
just the just the the guy that just wants to
just help people, you know what I mean. And I
(16:14):
think my music has always done that. I think for me,
getting those experiences are through d M s or emails
or different type of messages from people, or even at shows,
people coming up to me and saying, Yo, this music
or this song, this album really changed how I look
at things. Or I've had guys coming to me like yo,
this made me a better man, and then women as well,
(16:38):
like this got me through this. I had a guy
come grown asks man like come to me in New York,
got a listening session and he just came and cried
on my shoulder. He says, the first time he ever cried,
Like that's what he told me, at least first time
I ever cried, and he wrote like a poem from
my music. It gets deep, right, He's so cute, you
(16:58):
know what. But basically what I'm saying is that, you know,
I through my experiences with creative music, I've I've helped
a lot of people. Um, And I don't say that
just the boast of brag. It's just like, you know,
the experience I've had dealing with people, connecting with people,
and I just I love that. I love just connecting
with people, you know, and I can believe that you
come off very genuine thank you. What's your zodiac sign? Burgo?
(17:21):
What do they say about all besides the crazy stuff?
You know what? I don't know, you know what's crazy?
Every time I say that, I'd be like, I'm a
Bergo girls going like what going it? Why? Yeah? I
think a lot of people kind of don't like I
think I'm close like a cus though, like Leo, okay,
so you got a little Leo, little Vargo, I think.
So you know what I mean? I think when I
(17:41):
say that, and normally like the same reaction kind of
like that actually, little both worlds. I get it. I
get I'm like pisces aries. So I know nothing about
what you're talking about. Yeah, I only know my ship.
I don't really know anything about other zodiac signs. But
you know, I feel like it's a nice question to
ask sometimes, got it. Sometimes it's kind of telling of somebody.
(18:05):
So we know that you're going on tour. If you here,
we know that you're signs. We know that your social
media following is growing, We know that your fan base
is growing. Overall, we know that you are probably making
some coins off YouTube or shows or okay, okay, any endorsements,
any brands at the moment, you know, you know, I
have different people like clothing companies like start up quote
(18:27):
quote company trying to get like me on board. And
but yeah, I mean like if anybody's out there that's interesting,
reach out, that's right. So this is a segment on
the ball Alert Show podcast that we call baller Mail.
This is where listeners get to right in and ask
for advice. All Right, you gotta be really honest, because
somebody really needs this advice, all right, Like this is
(18:49):
a real thing. This is a real serious it is
a serious thing. We get baller mail every day. Okay,
so answer this very seriously from the heart, as genuine
as your music. Okay, my man can't go in the
bedroom past five pumps like a legit two to three minutes.
Us keep wow. I can hear the selfishness and that
(19:13):
this is serious for the ladies. Okay, my man can't
go in the bedroom past five pumps like a legit
two to three minutes, and it's killing me. I'm starting
to have a I'm starting I should have pre read this.
I'm starting to pleasure myself. We've spoken about this, and
he doesn't seem to care. What do you guys suggest? Okay,
(19:36):
so y'all've come they've come to a conclusion that he
can't go past five pumps. I think he came to
the conclusion that he can't go past and she told him,
and she doesn't seem the care, got it, And he
doesn't seem to care. He doesn't seem to care that
she's pleasuring herself without him. So what what are we?
(19:58):
What are we helping with right here? She wants to
know what to do should she stay in this relationship?
So they're not they're not like married, this is just
just well she didn't specify, she just said my man
got it. Um, oh we know, is that's her man
who she's trying. I think I think if you love them,
then you know, use that deal. Deal girl? Do you
(20:19):
think you know something about get that thing off, you
know what I'm saying, and get them five pumps and
then go to the bathroom. Another another writer, actually, and
I promise I'm not making this up, y'all. Another writer
said that her man knows that he doesn't please her,
so when he finishes, he throws on the strap on
to help her get to where she needs to go.
(20:39):
First off, every nig in this room just look at
you when you said that, because they're like, wait, it's
a problems. I ain't walking around the house with two dicks, period.
You ain't, bro what I'm not putting on this. No
nigga in here is put on the strap on my
guy like it's it's a rat right, it's over. So
(21:00):
I mean whatever you So basically, what you're saying is
that he can't go for a long period of once
he comes, he puts the strap on. Yeah, so he
can try to talk to the last girl and get
her the last You know what I'm saying. She got
a dial though and all that. You know, she played
with herself. Who is it selfish? All I'm saying. All
(21:24):
I'm saying is it's ways to do this. Like if
you if you know you can't last, bro, kill that
four play, start with the four play, go crazy in
that ship and then come behind that with your five pumps.
Do you feel me? So? No, she's looking she's looking
at me with the affirmation like, yeah, you're right, you're right,
so glad. We're not so glad you can't see four.
(21:50):
You're not only a lover in your songs. It sounds
like you kind of use that tongue faller alert call
her nation. Y'all got to grow up, ladies. Look stuff, man,
you got it? You like, what is it? Yeah? Exactly.
You gotta go crazy. Oh my god, the girl's not
listening to this ship? Yeah we all. I think the
(22:12):
men no too. But you know it's essential help you
with your music at all? Like do you ever think
of four play? Like when you're recording a song or
writing or producing or whatever it is that you're doing.
It depends on what the song is about. I feel
like most of your songs is about some kind of love,
yeah it is. But I mean like, if it's about heartbreak,
then I'm there. But if it's about like fucking can
(22:35):
you could do whatever? Okay, it's a podcast about If
it's about you know, smacking skin, then it's like you know,
of course I'm in that. I'm in that mindset, you
know what. Okay, before we get out of here, I
need to know you're top Fever, Mount Rushmore Pigs. Okay, Oh,
(22:56):
let's do rap. Okay, I'd rather to say what what's
the category? Because you you sing, you know, more of
an R and B style. Let's let's do your top
for R and B artists of all times? Okay, Yeah,
this is gonna cause some confrontation, can see. Um. All right,
so let's start here. We'll say, um, I don't know
because R and B just okay, starts first off. I'm
(23:17):
gonna put Cisco in there for me personally, because Unleash
the Dragon was the first album I ever bought as
a kid. That was like my first album I ever
bought period, and it really like changed my trajectory of
like an artist. Um, okay, Chris Brown, Yes, okay, who
else will be I don't know Columbus, so I just
(23:42):
want more to acknowledge. So Chris and uh Us, you
got to go in there right, that's three, right? Uh?
Who's number four? Who's number four? Is your number? Four?
Was like all you right, young gal? Is suggestion from me? So,
(24:04):
I mean, I'm not gonna lie. You threw me off
with Cisco, so I really don't have to. I really don't.
I feel like, you know, I'm still I'm still I'm
a millennial, you know what I mean. So it's like,
you know, I don't really go too far back with it,
you know, I got I got research to do, you
know what I mean. Um, And I'm sure it's people
that you know, I'm gonna get slacked for a flat four.
(24:26):
I can't figure out the number four, to be honest,
you know, for some reason, my mind is going to
like the people that influenced me, and it's your big music.
It's like, I mean, it's probably not my four, but
that's the one that's in my hair right now. Music
sould Child because I just really like listen. He was
like one of those guys that just constantly listen to
and in high school. Uh so, I mean yeah, I mean,
(24:50):
I probably listened to this later and be like, I'm
such an idiot. I forgot about this guy, I forgot
about that. But yeah, those are like the four in
my head and my hair right now, Fall Nation, Just
please do not go at l A's for this. He
didn't know what was coming with the four play exact. See.
He helped us with side out just food side. Please
(25:12):
tell ball the nation where they can find you are.
All your socials the best way to connect with you.
If anybody wants to do business, put it all out there.
L A E l h A. It also stands. It's
an acronym y. I ask you, like, why do you
spell L A that way? And sell it again one time?
E l h A E stands for every life has
an ending? Shut up a little, you know. That's why
(25:36):
you gotta record. Do smart right there, I'm smart, creative.
Thank you, you're a genius. A genius. Tell everybody want
to find you. Yeah, that's it, you know everywhere E
l h A E on all platforms, on all social media.
I got lucky with that. He is open for business.
I am friends, were working anybody. This year is all about.
(25:57):
This is the year to catch me catch them going
crazy this year catch him. You heard it right here.

(26:19):
Ferrari Simmons. Time Sue Solo and it's time for us
get up out of here Solo. Yes, already another episode
in the wrap through Solo. I know you got some shoutouts.
This is a lot going on out here. Okay, yeah,
that's true. I do have a shout out. My shoutout
is c Tiffany how Ish, who originally her. One of
(26:39):
her first things that she said about the Tiglide genocide,
which is a real genocide that is happening in the
northern region of Ethiopia where my mama lives. Okay, my
mama lives in a war zone. My mama lives in
a region where the Ethiopian government is committing a full
blown genocide. And one of Tiffany hat his questions on clubhouses,
where are the dead bodies? It is the dead bodies
(27:00):
there everywhere. Okay, that was very insensitive to say. Now
it seems like Tiffany Hattish is trying to educate herself
on what is going on, But the reality is you
was ice cold, says it was ice cold. You being
a rape victim. How dare you fix your mouth to
say something like if there's no video, it didn't happen.
What if somebody was to say to a victim of
(27:22):
sexual assault, if you don't have a video or pictures,
it didn't happen. It was hurtful. It was very hurtful.
As mad as I want to be at you, it's
really because I know you are probably either just ignorant
when it comes to the history of ethiopien Eritrea, which
I claim to be as well. I am not extremely
educated in that, but I don't need to know anyone's
history to have compassion for innocent people. And that is
(27:44):
where that's where my issue lies. Okay, since you found
out you was Aeratrian and you just start going crazy,
like stop anyway, hashtag tickeride genocide, stop on take ride,
Tiffany Hattish, I invite you to have a conversation on
the All Show, a conversation. I really want to understand
(28:05):
what you meant by the statements that you have that
you've said more than once in your clubhouse rooms. Please
provide me with that, because as a first generation American
by way of Tig life, where my family still lives
right now, I would really love to understand your perspective
on what is in fact a genocide in Tig life.
(28:25):
That's all I gotta say. Follow me on the Granma
Underscores with Solo, y'all. Uh my closure words. Usually I
talk about a future because that's one of my best
favorite rappers of all time. But I want to talk
about a Little Baker. It's a chart going around with
the top tier rappers from Atlanta, and um, I said
what I said, Little Baby is the top five rapper
already from Atlanta. And I said, what I said, Little
(28:47):
Baby is top five. The only thing he's missing is longevity.
He has done any and everything to qualify to be
one of the best rappers that ever come out of
Atlanta top five right now. He's only thing that he
needs to do to bring him into that top three
is have longevity here. So I said, what the hell
I said, little Baby is the top five of all
(29:09):
time in Atlanta in wrap period. You got something to
say about that? I see why here, in these streets
we can we can goddamn, you know we can debate
in these streets. Okay, catch me in traffic. Aggressive Little
Baby is top five and I see y'all goddamn on
the next episode on the ball Alert show Creek. I
(29:31):
