Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hold on, Hold on, ladies and gentlemen, this tall Alert,
ball Alert, Baller Alert. Welcome to the ball Alert Show
podcast available everywhere you get your podcast. I go by
the name of Ferrari Simmons, no bt CT. What hey,

(00:24):
are you guys ready? I'll stay ready. They get into it.
Travis Scott Settle's first lawsuit outside of court undisclosed amount
UM and this one is for first and foremost ten
people total died UM the first of many lawsuits. The

(00:47):
twenty one year old at Axel died from injury suffered
at the November two thousand and twenty one concert UM
and we were previously told and aware that Axel travel
all the way from why Washington to see the Houston
Festival UM and was a huge Travis fan. In terms
of the settlement are confidential and the family wants people

(01:09):
to remember actual as a beloved son, brother, and student
who also was kind and loving and will be greatly missed.
This is this is the first of many lawsuits against
Travis Scott UM. This was handled on the side, so
this wasn't handled in court. So you think how much
you think they probably they probably got at least a
million dollars I say at least two point five someone died.

(01:32):
Ten people died, and um hundreds were injured. So I
wonder who who, like, if they settled outside of court,
does the insurance company pay for it or well, it
looks like it was some type of legal team, and
I'm pretty sure any lawyer would have picked this up
because this is a high priority artist, a list celebrity,
and um at a very big festival. So other you

(01:55):
know people who throw the festival, they throw the festival
with other companies. So yeah, so I'm not sure who
was the company is thrown with Travis Scott's. I think
it was Travis World, isn't that that's what they call it.
He threw the concert a lot. It's called something though
every year that he does after World, so it's this
is a yearly thing. So it's a big deal and

(02:16):
that's the that's the concert he brought out. Drake. I
remember that. I saw, I saw it saw. It's like
for Drake, it's a really big thing and he's a
big deal in Texas, so you know, people come from
all over the world, all over the country for this.
So and ten people die. Remember that started the spark
of the festival stuff. Yeah. Yeah, that's that's when people
started checking up on I mean artists. Remember the baby

(02:39):
got in trouble for saying terms, and the festival ship
just started getting paid attention to me because the security
and all type of ship were going on. Yeah, I
mean it's it's sad because you know, people was losing
their lives and you know, it looks like the security
wasn't doing a job. Yeah, the ball was definitely dropped. Yeah,

(02:59):
and them dollars is gonna get dropped on these uh
these lawsuits. Okay, Season three of p Valleys rettenly new
can he get me snaps? Uh? Yes, that's for you.
That's hey, my favorite show. But it is a great show.
The only thing is the creditor said that it's gonna
take some time for this show to come back around.
So I'm like, man, we're gonna have to wait. I

(03:22):
hope not too long because you know that's when everybody
starts to lose interest and I don't want that, So
I hope it's not too long. Well, a little birder
that's probably gonna be on the show real soon said
that they're shooting, so yeah, did he opens his third
schools that you are back in the city doing positive,

(03:42):
uplifting things. I'm so proud today because the kids don't
know that I'm coming to see him. This is the
third school that I've been blessed to be able to
open in New York in my hometown and the booge
down Bronx coming to you live from co Op City.
So salute to p didd he Man opening up us
third school. This is super dope. Um. I think it's
dope to open up schools for these kids. Man, these

(04:04):
kids need it. They need to see positive reinforcement, especially
when they see these black men and um, these black women,
UM doing positive things in the community. Community service is
always dope, and I think opening up the school is
a big deal. Then he's turning into like a like
a superhero. I hope he pays the day and his
son's girlfriends. But hey, hey man, hey man, salute the

(04:30):
that's the big dog. Take off. Said he would reunite
with the Megos for a versus battle take a lesson,
and we can't do a Megos re unions for one
versus number one verses if the check is right is correct.
But from what I've been hearing is the verses don't
really be paying people. Really, they don't be paying, like

(04:51):
the astronomical numbers of people think they'd be paying, right
they do? Okay, so that I would say something the
battle the megos jam do that was what group will
battle the megos like new groups don't know? He said
you can't do the o G. So he's talking about
somebody that's new. Yeah, so it can't be outcasts. It
can't be you know, my fields a harmony. I mean,

(05:14):
I don't know. I just feel like if if they
did a versus is unfair? Well the group is it?
Travis Porter? Oh no, oh no, I'm just thinking them
three okay, three facts, but no porters. That would be
a dope Atlanta thing. But I wouldn't I'm talking about

(05:34):
that wouldn't even be dope, like now we will want
I want. Yeah, that's not I feel like I have nobody.
I have nobody. I have nobody that can battle. To me,
it's unfair because there's three of them to go against
one person. That's not fair. So who was the one person?
It would have to be then versus one person? Yeah? Yeah, okay, yeah,

(05:58):
it has to be the megos versus one person Okay,
but then it wouldn't be fair to the one person gone.
But you can't hold your own if you like, uh,
you know, if you gotta get catalogs. That's true. That's
what I'm saying that I don't I don't even I
don't even know any groups outside of to Me Goes.
What groups are there, That's what I'm saying. It's like,
it's like, right now, what groups are there? R and

(06:19):
B groups? It's not really like what they're going about
R and B. Okay, there's no verses for me Goes
coming soon, and I guarantee you that, Um Jesus coming
out with Snowfall. As you're hearing this right now, it's

(06:39):
out and we're gonna be tapped in and and locked
in one time for DJ Drama and Jeez connecting and
UM putting out a dope catalog of music. Um. I
don't know if people notice, but you know, at one
point in Drama Jess had the issue too, you know
what I'm saying, But um, they got through that and group.
Oh I'm excited about this new this new project because

(07:01):
I don't know if y'all heard that verse Jeezy did
for E. S T. G One of the best verses. God,
I felt like I was in the kitchen cooking dope.
Yeah not facts got a couple of verses for me too. Anyway,
young jeez Um has definitely earned his place in the
mount Rushmore of trap rap. I think I heard trap

(07:24):
verset from tip Um and then him and grew up
took that ship to the next level. But I'm eager
to listen to the project. Yes, Snowfall, that's what happens.
When you did you? Did you see the art? Well,
I was thinking about the TV show and then I
would show that's my guy. Now I watched that. Motherfucker.

(07:46):
I watched that. I love that show. Its like some
of the videos or something the next up. So I
don't be giving the ideas. I gotta pay you for
that fast facts you look up. There is no single.
Usually snow Jeez has a single that he promotes before
dropping of an album. Not the single Drama. That's the

(08:07):
DJ drama single. Oh and he doesn't happen unless unless
we got Bamboozo because it's ad DJ drama featuring Dazy.
Unless that's it. I don't know. I could be wrong,
I could be wrong, but I'm looking because that came out,
and then they announced the project coming out. Interesting. Okay,
you might be right and I might be wrong. Okay,

(08:29):
time for the curveball question of the day. O c
T was happening. Have you ever sent money to the
wrong number? You know they got sale, cash, sh app
and all that. I'm talking about a large amount. Oh no,
I was five hundred dollars. It wasn't too It wasn't
eighteen hundred like young job. But I was getting some
grass delivered to my house and yeah, I was getting
some side that's rich. To make sure, let's make sure

(08:52):
I say the right thing. I was getting some sad
delivered or something. Yeah, yeah, this is true, this is true.
So I used the term grab no more. I don't know.
I was getting some side delivered to my house. A
neighbor down the street was getting it. I got the
person who was doing it number. He was like, yeah,
that's cool. So when he dropped it off, I was like,
how much is it? And he told me it was

(09:14):
two fifty. So then he was like no, no, no,
no, no no, no, no four hundred more, Like what make
up your mind? So we started arguing. We come up
with the price. We agreed on three hundred. I sent
the zel, but I said, he tells me the wrong number. Hell,
so I'm over here, like, dude, I'm not paying another
three hundred. So I said, you could do two hundred.

(09:36):
So I held them two hundred. So I was I
was in the whole five hundred, and that person I
zel too. I texted them, I called them. They answered
that motherfucker. Well, this comes along the hills of young
Jock accidentally sending somebody eighteen hundred dollars. That's a eighteen
honey man, you just pay somebody. He posted it on
his Instagram and tagged the number and had everybody texting

(09:59):
calling to get his money. I would have did the
same thing. You did, the right thing. I want my
damn money eight hunter back. You just gave somebody early Christmas.
That ain't a hundred and eighty dollars at another zero
big doll and add a comma, man, do you want
that you want? I would have did you know what
I would have did, Jock? I would have posted like

(10:21):
how you posted the number. I would have posted that
and I would have said, you know, anybody worked for
a cell phone company and y'all looked this number up
and give me the information. I'm going to get my money.
So check this out. He was like, he messaged a
person said, Hey, can you return at eighteen hunted that
I sent to your account via zel. He said, I
know you don't know me, nor do I know you.
Please do the right thing. God has bigger blesses for you.

(10:44):
Then he says, I know you blocked my number and
that's okay. I just need the eighteen hunted that senior
account via ZL. That person blocked him around getting blocked.
I'm gonna get TV at the class cover. What tell
you team? So that's when he prompted everybody to call
the number for him. I would have called my phone

(11:06):
covery changed my number facts and I was eighteen hundred
in my bank account, and I would have said, shout
out to your mes. Me conscored me. But what they
would have had that that was the case. You missed that.

(11:26):
We have Generica Owens in the building. She's about to
talk about everything sports right now. Hey, guys, Jenerica owns
here and I'm here during the break talking sports with
Evala Alert show. This past weekend with sports was very exciting.
The Houston Rockets came here to Atlanta, and of course
Atlanta defeated them because the Houston Rockets is just a
young team. But Javari Smith, which is the number three prospect,

(11:49):
he came and played and this is his hometown and
you know he dominated in high school in in Harburn,
including USA Camp and McDonald's all Americans, so it was
just excited to see what he could do on the court.
But of course the gent Mary who was a dog
and the Beasts had his team with him, which is
Giant Collins, Clint Cappella, Trey Young. What can't they do
on the court. It was just exciting to see them.

(12:10):
By me being Baller Alerts newest sports journalists, next week
I'll be covering the Orlando Magics versus the Charlotte Hornets,
and you know, we have LaMelo Ball and he's gonna
be matching up with number one pick Pollo Bencherro. So
it's gonna be exciting to see that. Polo is just
a great player on the court, and you know LaMelo,
he's a tough player as well, So let's see what
they can do together. We'll be right back with more

(12:32):
of the Baller Alert Show. Is it love? From the
minute I met you, baby I knew I wanted to marry,
or the love of money, money, it's love versus money.
Let's say you can't put a price tag on love,
love on the ball, or alert show versus money. All Right,

(12:56):
I'm gonna give a couple and you let me know
if you think that the man and the woman separately
are there for love or if this is the business
deal that they have going on, you know, just for
the money. Yeah, so today we will have Stevie Ja. Damn,
Stevie J is there for business. It's just a business decision.

(13:22):
I don't think that relationship was based on love really,
because he was the godfather for so long to her son,
I don't think. I don't think. You know, Stevie J
is the guy father to Faith Evans and Biggie's son. Yeah,
and he did a lot of beats for Biggie. He
was close. Ain't produced for Faith too. He was on

(13:43):
he was on the Bad Boy. So wait, wait, wait,
answer the question. Bro, I still think it's business. I
don't think. I don't think that that's real love. If
that was, if that's somebody that you really loved, y'all
would have been together already. You would have never been
a MEETI phase. We would always heard about Faith. Then
all of a sudden, the show goes off and now

(14:04):
he's in a relationship with with Faith. I don't know
they were married. Well, first of all, I believe they're
a divorce. Now that's that's even more of the reason
why I'm saying this business. This is a transactional situation.
What about Faith? What do you think faith with him
for the money as well? I don't even know. Hey, hey,

(14:27):
I think Stevie J got a little coins. I don't
play with Stevie you're talking about He wrote all of them,
so did them beat? He definitely got some money. That
was the nineties, bro whereat he got like six kids,
seven kids? Man, Stevie J. My god, man, I love
Steve got a little bad, a little coin. He was
getting booked. I think this was both transactional. I think

(14:48):
this was a transactional relationship and marriage. I think they
were both there for the gain of each other. It
wasn't there for damn good question. I don't know. I
have no idea. I don't think she loved him though,
m N just didn't look like they loved each other.
Miss Owens. What you're saying what you think, Miss Owens.

(15:09):
I just feel like if you really had loui t
based off who she did it in the past, nobody
would actually, you know, just move forward with their relationship
so you know what they know. I'm gonna say, bros
Before you know, just feels like it was more of
a business plan. They put themselves first. They was all
on loving hip hop. Theydn't even look they didn't even
look good together. Yeah, that didn't look look like a marriage.
You know, marriages more so, people don't each other. It's

(15:32):
a business thing. I mean, it is a contract. Your
sign just called a marriage license. That's a contract. No,
it's about a little It's about what you bring to
the table. And I think they both build each other's table.
What's up? What's up? What's up? DJ Drama? What's up? Er?
We did? We did a quick sevement, right, love versus money?
Love versus money? All right? Do you think that Stevie

(15:55):
J and Faith Evans you think that was love? You
think they were just there for the money. I would
probably say the love for the two of that I
am that is. I think. I mean, well, who you
would think has more money? We'll be right back, stay
tuned with more of the baller alert shall that's it

(16:21):
is time for baller Now, dear baller folks, I need
you all advice. My wife and I have a ten
year old in fifth grade. I'm laughing because he came
home from school very upset that one of the kids
was picking on him because my wife is an exotic dancer.
It really bothers him. What should I do? How should
I talk to him? The mama needed to talk to him?

(16:42):
First of all, how a ten year old know what
the exotic dancers? I mean, come on, that's fifth grade grade. Yes,
ten years old, you know what's going on. And if
you don't know, your friends about to go to middle
school fifth grade? You're a big kid, bro lar, get up,
biggest own food, eat dress himself. He cool. Now, how

(17:05):
should the daddy talked to this teyroll about his wife
the kids mama being being an exotic dancer. Well, I
would say, uh, first of all, you probably need to
go school a lot and say your mama is not
an exotic dancer. I'm pretty sure proof. I think that's
a conversation for both parents to sit down with the

(17:26):
child to talk about. Man, that's why you always got
to teach your kids how to roast. When I'm talking
about ros yeah, you'll teach your kid how to roast.
C'all was always taught how to roast. And I was
a person in school. You ain't abouna talk about my mama.
You're about talking about my dad. Ain't about talking about nobody,
cause I'm gonna flame you up every day until you

(17:46):
leave me alone. That's why you teach a kid how
to roast. They dubbed you knew what you're getting into
when you wife your wife. Okay, you know she's an
exotic dancer. Sometimes these things tend to leak. And I
don't know what to tell you. He ten years old
in fifth grade. Seems like you want to tell them

(18:09):
true big fellow, and you're gonna have to teach you.
I don't know, bro, I actually do not know how
to do this one. I'm gonna pray for you. I'm
definitely gonna pray for you. I don't know. I do
not know. Baller Mail. Time for us to get up
out of here, Mr Nerica Ones. I appreciate you giving
us some sports and all that good stuff. Give me
