Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hold up, hold up, ladies, and this show. Hey, welcome
to the Followers Show. Podcasts available everywhere you get your podcast.
I go up the name Ferry Simmons, past some cello,
you know, BT special guests in the building, baby and

(00:30):
Maddie is in the building, strip and she and she
came to us. I forget what episode, but it was
very early in the ball Alert Games the seventeen I
know because I remember I had what did I have to?
Did you get sled a fact? Step sp what's up?

(00:54):
What's up? What's up? What's up? You know. I'm just
happy to be here. You know, we're glad you pulled
up on this. So much has changed for um, that
first interview that we had with you, when you had
one food truck, you had no stores, no locations, yet
you literally had your first food truck. Now I got restaurants.
So people still say slutty vegan. But I'm also the

(01:15):
founding CEO Barbie exactly whole bunch of snaps Co Foundation. Yeah,
I'm hoping up another concept, right man, we stop, stop,
stop stop. You're a special guest hosting you're hosting the
show with us. Okay, alright, alright, okay, I'm gonna's Sue
taping you in the second. Wait, wait, suits, I want

(01:38):
to get to the show. Can we get started? Okay,
we got to talk about making the Stadion and Tory
Lanes guys that you guys were following the case. I
can't listen to think he shot her or not he did.
I don't like getting people business. But because I know

(01:59):
the background of the story, because I'm always on the blogs,
what I will say is that you gotta be mindful
of who you consider your friends. Right, people that you
call your friends, they have to be an asset to
you and not a liability. You cannot be around me
if you're going to drain my battery every time you
come around. And that's it's not talking about Megan and

(02:21):
the other girl. I'm talking about people that you allow
in your atmosphere. If you're gonna be my atmosphere, I
gotta feel stronger and better after you leave me. If
I feel depleted and sad and upset, then that means
I need some new friends. So that's what I'll say
about that. It's a lot going on. I feel like
I'm watching Court TV on Instagram. Is gonna be a
Lifetime movie? Or something. I don't think it's gonna be

(02:45):
like this. His career is on the line, right, So yeah,
but celebrities at this point, it's a reputation game, right,
because the reputation is gonna bring you money. Who loses that?
Because y'all got us all on Instagram and we look
I feel like we're watching TV as well. I do

(03:06):
believe that all three people or I heard for Kylie
or Kylie, right, I do believe they all know the story,
but everyone's saying something different to get this case this
mass they will throw this case out. Kylie Jenner paid
to not be I'm drinking out, paid not to be

(03:27):
in court. I was kind of washed, but you know,
skin washed by the way I was gonna say. I
believe all four people know what happened, and they're just
throwing this whole thing off because it's gonna get a mystery.
It's gonna be a mistrog I don't believe that they
we all know that. You think that Tory did not
shoot you? When you say that, wait, I think what

(03:49):
Licorate is involved. You don't know what the hell happened.
They're about it did some ship when they drunk it
don't remember what happened to your team Tory Megan. Megan
came on I G Live and said, Tory shot me.
The only thing I almost say was when I was
watching the case, they said that, uh, they said that
Tory lanes and not shoot her. So somebody shot. I

(04:10):
don't know who, because you don't think you don't think
shot her. I don't know, So I think let me
tell you all what I think. I think that overall
this is a takeaway for everybody outside of just a
friend thing, right, like from I don't even know the
back story because that ain't my business, but I'm being
nosy so I know a little bit about it. But

(04:33):
I really feel like this is a lesson to everybody
that what you do when you're intoxicated ken and will
work against you in the court of law. And that's
the track. Yeah, like, be mindful of what you do.
You are not exempt just because you're a celebrity. And
we did find out that Megan and her friends slept
with Tory, Yeah, and then we found out that Ben
Simmons did too. But I put in and that safe listen,

(04:56):
because I'm now on the side of defense, right, and
a lot of things that I've think about me on
the internet. Okay, come on, Vegan, that's what the text wasn't.
What would you do if the burger really wasn't? It's
still good? Oh, that would be my whole career, you
know how I'm saying, like so many people that have

(05:16):
different articles and put stuff out about celebrities, myself included.
And I don't even consider myself a celebrity, but I'd
be like, I did not say that your celebrity accepted
with influence. Okay, but yeah, ship don't always be real
on the internet, right, So like you gotta take it
for face value. So just because y'all think that they

(05:37):
had sex, they probably didn't. Who knows, unless she was
the condomore, the penis that was there, how you go? Okay?
But Megan went on Ellen she was that was Oprah's
frying gil Gil and said, I did not sleep with
Tory Lanes And then come to find out she sleep
with Tory Lanes. Well, first of all, we knew she
was pausing the interview. They actually yeah, we already she

(06:02):
denied it, but it came out of court. That's the
thing I love about court because it's all about what
you can prove, and you have to tell the truth.
I don't know what Kelsey thought she was doing. Well,
now you don't don't have you purchase yourself like Kelsey
is doing, but you will serve time for that toomunity
still overseas, did you guys see moving right along London

(06:24):
on the tracks served his baby mama ebony child support
papers in a Christmas box? Did you guys see that
damn that he custody of his child with her. This
is the one that goes back and forth. They're cool
and then they they're not cool. They're cool and they're
not cool often. I don't want to talk about man fatherhood,

(06:45):
but it just don't see shouting out to dad's that
co parents, to dads that like do the right thing,
shout out to people that don't got to be together
but they could be friends and take it in right. Like,
you don't really see a lot of that now, but
when you see it, it's rare. But us exist and
it sucks that, like kids gotta grow up in the
midst of the battle between parents. Like I see people

(07:06):
that I know personally that go back and forth. It
really don't even be about the kids. It's the fact
that they really want to be with and they're mad.
So it's an emotional connection that they haven't healed from.
And as a result of that, the kids get spied, right,
And that's not fair to the children, because that's what happens.
They grow up feeling Daddy listen and mommy list and
then be out and be grown. And they'd be looking like, oh,
they're too damn grown. That's because they were trying to

(07:28):
figure out, like who's paying attention to me? That's literally
what happens. So I haven't seen that, but you know,
it just sucks it. You know. I hope the rumors
about him are not true. I hope he is a
present father. I hope he's not verbally abusive or you know,
emotionally abusive. But I just don't understand, like why now
I want to have primary custody of the child? Like
why now? Is it a fight? Is it you mad

(07:50):
about something? Like what's the problem? How you gonna take
everybody London? Where you dontall? You donna be home be
outside doing everything else? Going to the street. Right back
with more of The Baller Alert Show. You're listening to
a special edition of The ball Or Alert Show. Hey,
what's up? It's your girl, Pinky, co founder and CEO
of the world famous Slutty Vegan a t L. And

(08:12):
you were locked in to the ball Alert show available
wherever you can get your part. We are bad with
the ball or show. Pinky is in the builder. How
it's going now, it's coming very good. I told my
route and my friends um that I'm considering being the
vegan what you got, I've just been. I've been feeling
real bad every time I eat red meat and bothering
me really bad. Okay, I'll be a coach. Really, how

(08:35):
do you coach someone it's a vegan vegan is, so
I don't coach vegan is and my coach mindset right,
So it really starts with your mindset, like you want
to get up and work out and do something different
with yourself. It starts right here. That's what you told me. Yeah,
you can get this all day long. You can say
you should have, could have, would have, But who cares
about that? If your mind nate made up, It's like
being in a bad relationship. When you're ready to go,

(08:57):
your mind gotta be made up. Otherwise you're just gonna
sit there and wallowing it. So when it comes to
veganism and change your lifestyle. You start small, make up
your mind that you want to feel better, you want
to look better, So then start removing pork. If you
eat pork, then go to beef, then go to turkey,
then go to chicken, then go to fish. Then take
our cheese and then allow you look up in your cheese.

(09:18):
You can do cheese because it's vegan regular cheese. Like
vegetarianism more better, you know, just pestutarian. You could be
pestutarian and pestarian still eat fish. Even if you don't
want to go vegan. People feel like you gotta go
vegan just to like be right. Just that's not true.
Like vegan is like level ten, you know. To me,

(09:40):
it's level five. I feel like the ultimate form of
like dietary living is being raw vegan, and I haven't met. Yeah, yeah,
raw vegan. You don't raw vegetables, raw and vegetables. That's
nothing cooked everything living fruits and vegetables. That's it. And
that is the highest level. They lived before all of this,

(10:06):
before that, before they had materials to do that, they
were eating fruits and vegetables. It was probably eating anyway.
How long have you been beating almost ten years. I
haven't eaten chicken since two thousand seven, so I was

(10:27):
doing it before it was cool. My mom is a Rosterfarian,
so I grew up mostly vegetarian. Yeah, so like I've
been a part of his lifestyle since I was a kid.
We're just making so I ate rising peace every guy, Okay,
rice and peas and beans, and I tell food and
she's Rastafarian and so like we ate very very clean.
Like people laughing at me. I didn't grow up eating candy.

(10:48):
I ain't never had a cavity in my life. Yeah,
I didn't grow up eating candy, didn't grow up going
to McDonald's, didn't grow up eating burgers. So the fact
that I got a burger joint, like my family laughed, like,
how do you got a burger join? You didn't even Yeah,
it's it's vegan comfort food, right, which is cool because
it gives an opportunity to meet people where they are.
So we put a pen in it. Earlier when we
first started the show, you said that you have you

(11:10):
know about Sluddy Vegan. We know about our Vegan, we
know about eat Plants Bitch the book, we know about
the tour. We know about the session. What is this
new project? You kind of hinted at it earlier, so
it's very new. Okay, let's talk about it. And this
is my first interview as breaking with us. This is
like breaking, like breaking breaking. I'm not gonna say it.
I'm just geting hint. Okay. But it rounds with breakfast

(11:33):
to breakfast, breakfast, I said breakfast. Oh okay, got it,
got it, got it. We are ready for that. Okay.
Is this a food truck situation? Is this a location
given Vegan waffle house energy. I'm down with that. I'm

(11:55):
down with extra. It's a cool kind said when you started,
you have to come back. Will come back because you
know they are confirming on camera now, and I might
just bring the breakfast excited. You know what the most

(12:15):
exciting piece of it is is like now you know
how you got an idea and then you need all
of these things to execute the idea, like I can
execute I think of something today and tomorrow. It really
is manifesting itself. Like literally every single day I come
up with an idea, I make a phone call, this
what I want to do, put it together, and it's together.
That's the best. That's success. To me, that's the best
feeling in the world about that must be up. And

(12:46):
you know why because I work my ass off this
here right saw it when I had fucking sauce on
my ship busted and dusted. Now I can afford to
do all the things that I want to do because
I put in the work right, and I wasn't lazy
and putting in the work and I never I'm still
not comfortable. That's why I went. Y'all said I was
a celebrity. I'm like, no, I'm not nowhere near where

(13:08):
I want to be. I feel like I'm not doing enough.
You understand what I'm saying. Yeah, like I'm still I'm like,
I still got work to do. But you got here.
Before you got here. We were talking about all of
these accomplishments, right, like I mean, awards, just all types
of recognition. We were like, her team has to be
absolutely immaculate, like we see the social media post they

(13:29):
want for example that that literally is stuck in my brain.
When Rihanna put out her Super Bowl announcement with her
hand holding football, it was like two minutes later the
Slutty Vegan page had Rihanna's hand holding a Burger and
I was like, yo, her team is too quick. How
big is your team? So so far? Now on a
slutty began side, I got three fifty employees and Barbiegan

(13:53):
I got sixty five employees. Shout out my board, Jason Craig,
who you just made the president? I just promoted Jason
to press to that. And it's funny because Jason and
I have been friends for a long time. So when
I first went vegan, and he was around me and
he was like, that's stupid. Why are you going vegan?
So mad? And look full circle moment now he's but yeah, man,

(14:16):
you know it has just been who's the question? Okay.
So so my team, my core team has been with
me for since the very beginning, so they know me.
They think like pinky, move like pinky talk like I
don't have to tell them what to do because they
get it right. So like we'll get in a session
and just build like we're just vibing, talking ship, acting

(14:38):
crazy and coming up with ideas and it's always raw
and original and authentic. And I always said, if it
don't feel authentic, don't do it. It can't feel like
it gotta feel like real tangible, like you're talking to
your friend when you're talking to the business. I like
to say the slutty Vegan is the girl that went
to school in to auc they got a j D.
But still like the club on the weekend, she smoke

(14:59):
we a little bit. Nobody knows, you know what I'm saying,
But like she goes to branch On on Sundays, like
that is what slutty Vegan is. But go to church
sometimes it depends on who want to go right, Like
that is who she gets. And in order to build
that persona, you gotta have people that are dedicated to
the brand. I don't look at the people on my
team as employees. I look at them as people who
are helping me build this empire. And that's how you

(15:20):
get people to really want to go hard for you
and they believe in me. That's what I was gonna
say to I feel like whenever you step into a
Slutty Vegan location, even even bar Vina, but for me,
Slutty Vigan I probably frequent the most, especially as the
location that's my vibe. For these people to maintain such
a high level of energy, I feel like it's because
they do believe in you. I feel like they want
to support you. Yes, it's a job, Yes I'm clocking in,

(15:41):
Yes I need to check. I'm here to work for money.
But their energy is like on ten every time. And
I really think it's because they believe in you. People
are happy to be there. Yeah, and it's and it's
my energy to now we have had a couple of
bad amples, okay, but what I also realized is they
atch my energy because when when I communicate in exchange

(16:03):
with them, they understand. I'm like, if you're not happy,
go home. I don't want you on the floor. Like,
if you're not gonna give me big energy, you can't
be here. You're saying, pull up to your locations. Do
you randomly do that? How do you? So? We have
something called club culture, right, and that's our monthly staff meetings.
And then the monthly staff meets you can bring a
friend and what that is is a party, like we
have a whole party where like we han' torque contests,

(16:24):
like it's just slutty began vibe. But then the staff
meeting and we highlight people, we show them love. I
do surprise promotion, so like you don't get a letter
and say hey, you got promoted, Like we room full
of people like, hey, I need someone so to come up.
You just got promoted. Like That's the kind of energy
and the vibe that most companies don't have. So it
keeps them on the on the edge of the seat,
like my moment that is coming. And because people feel

(16:47):
like their moment is coming, they're always gonna work hard always.
And not only that, you blessed them with equity. Some
of their employees like that, so they feel like they're
actually a part of the business that you're growing. And
um the equity And on Slutty Vegan page, if you
know how the same dance rap act your artist, you
get highlighted on the page. We got almost a million followers, right,

(17:08):
so imagine to get highlighted if you got real, true talent.
That's a level of exposure for you to be able
to follow your dreams and still be a Slutty Vegan.
So this is also a vessel to get to where
you want to be. And when I first started this company,
I'm like, I'm not making Slutty Vegan for money. I've
always made money. I've always been a hustler, right, Like
I always I'm a magnetode. I'm gonna get it by

(17:28):
any means necessary. I do not sit down and like
wait for money to like just you gotta go no, no, no, no,
I get it. I go out and get it. But
what I realized and this company is I was very
intentional about it and passionate about building something that people
will be like, damn, like this lady from East Baltimore.
Build something so special that the world is talking about.
And as a result of that, now the money is coming. Yeah,

(17:51):
and it's looking like a huney million dollars. So you're
actually have a hundred million dollars. But let me tell you,
let me tell you that's the question. Let me tell
you a hundred million having a company value that a
hundred million dollars means today or tomorrow. If I decided

(18:14):
to say, you know, I don't feel like doing this
no more, I can find a private equity firm and
negotiate with them against that amount. Because we've already done
the man, We've already known the paperwork. Legally, my company
is valued at a hundred million dollars. Right, So if
I go to a private equity company and said, listen,
I want to sell my company for a hundred hundred
fifty million dollars. They can either say no or they

(18:34):
can say, well, yeah, we believe so based on where
we are yesterday, where we are today, and when we
would be tomorrow. But my company is gonna be valued
that a billion dollars A mind a million at enough
you understand what I'm saying. And it's not just about
the money. It's the fact that I'm really going to
exceed the metric that you haven't really seen a lot
of black people do a lot of black women anyway
do so today it's at a hundred million. Asked me

(18:55):
again in like two years, So a question, how do
you pay your locations? Like, I know you got Brooklyn
and Harlem and you know who said this guy said
that there's no black people in Birmingham. That's okay, girl,
he said, people are everywhere in Burmham station. I passed
through the gas station. She was not at the right place.

(19:17):
There's a lot of black um, So that's a good question.
So it's not just black people that East Slutty vegan to.
Just so you know, I know, it's a lot of
white people. East Slutty Vegan. I've been there before so
Slutty Vegan. So I'm very intentional about the locations right.

(19:39):
So like the Burmenham location, I boot that building for
seventy two buildings for seventy six thousand dollars cash, and
it was an area that nobody really goes to, like
real quiet, but I knew that if I brought slutty
Vegan over there, I could raise the value of the
community and I can help the business owners that are
there make money because if I got a line, then
they've benefit off the And I realized when we do

(20:02):
more locations like that, that's what we are able to
capitalize and golf a bid something ever happened to Sludy
Vegan on the dirt, I want to build it. So
I'm intentional about where it is that I put slightly
vegan and in real time, y'all, it sounds crazy, but
I go to the location that we're scouting and I
stand in and I gotta feel it, and it gotta
feel right in my spirit because I'm an impath and

(20:22):
if it don't feel right, then I can't do it.
And when I say feel right, I'm like, I can't
feel anxious. There can't be no anxiety. Around me, like
it gotta feel clear and it gotta feel pure, and
that's kind of how I choose. Are you getting any
pushback in some of these locations, Like are some of
the local business owners like, hold on, this line is
out of control? Yeah? My first location and already was

(20:45):
like that, um, but it has since evolved, like people
want to be around sluty Vegan because they know that
they can also capitalize off the business. Okay, okay, time out,
time out, time out it you're in love? Yeah, yeah,
I'm trying to make a smile real quickly. You are
in love with this man? Yeah, a fellow. You can't tell?

(21:10):
We got two kids? That's love. How did this? How
did this start? What happened? Because this guy does not
do anything well? And from what I have seen, that
was Vegan? No correct, No, well actually how let you
through the d M? So he did the menu and
bar vegan. So so I actually slaid at his DMS.

(21:32):
Wait wait wait wait wait, I slaid at his d
m s as a support system. Got it? Okay, So
y'all remember when the George Floyd riots? What happened? So
I sent him let me rewind? So my friends was like,
it's this boy and Atlanta. He from Philly and he
got the same kind of lines you've got, and everybody
talking about him, like, how do you talking about Slidy Vegan?

(21:52):
You need to find out who he is. And I'm like,
I'm not. I don't care about me something beat like us.
I feel like I would never date a guy that
that made me. That's just not who I yeah, like right.
So so when the George Rights happened, somebody broke the
glass in his window. So I sent him a message

(22:13):
and I said, hey, I'm sorry about what happened. Is
there anything that I could do, you know, business to business.
I want to make sure that you're cool. And he
was like, he was like, you know, I'm good, thank you.
I've already gotten a lot of help, so I'm good. Um,
but you know, I love what you're doing in the community.
So we had that little moment and he was like,
you know, let's Bill, let's go to lunch or something.
So I'm like, okay, cool. So we went to lunch
and some flower camfacta vegan and then he had vegan.

(22:39):
That was his first time eating vegan, and he did
not like it, but he tried to like it because
I was there, so it was him and his cousin
gon ar Rest his soul Um. And when we went inside,
we were talking and we just connected. But it wasn't
like on like I love you. It was just like,
this is somebody that I know it's going to be
in my life, professional like. It was just somebody like

(23:01):
a good local business owner, right, and then we just
really started having a genuine friendship and then it evolved
into something else. And then I look up and I
got pregnant three what I don't know that I not bad.
They can figure it out, but yeah, we are pregnant
three months after we mat I'm like, oh, this is
a thing. And it's interesting because I didn't even think

(23:23):
that I could have kids. And I got pregnant the
first time, and then six weeks after I had that baby,
I got pregnant again. So now we got a five
month old and a seventeen month old. Will you have
any more? Or is that I'm not having any more kids?
And I'm happy with He already has two, so I

(23:45):
got four total, my bonus babies. Um, but you know
what I'm happy about. I've been pregnant for the last
two years and I've done a lot, right, I've opened
up a lot of businesses. I've bought a lot of
real estate. I've done a whole lot while being pregnant.
And I salute need mother who one is a single
mother in a relationship and pregnant and getting up and
going to get it every single day. It is not easy.

(24:07):
And the fact that I was able to do it
with a support system is like such a blessing. But
I'm not doing it again. You're such a cheerful giver,
and it just seems like you know everything in your
life aligns with you giving, even with your fiance. You know,
you call to give something. With your businesses, you call
to give something. And I feel like that's why you

(24:28):
you will hit that billion dollar marks, because it's gonna
be there from my mom. Um. Yeah, I love my mom.
She's actually here helping us raise the kids. But my
mother when I was a kid. You understand, right, because
your family is all right, So yeah, so my mom
will help everybody. Like if you got to ask and

(24:50):
she helping you, you need someone to sleep, she can
help me. I'm like, hello, you don't even know, that
doesn't matter. It's just it's just so when I was
a kid, I didn't understand it. So Christmas came around
for us and we would be getting hand me down
to like Walmart stuff, and like why she was helping
everybody else And I'm like, well, what about us? But
what I realized is my mother was so selfless and

(25:10):
I was learning along the way and I didn't even
know it until I became an adult. So me helping people,
that's bigger than money for me, right, I do, well,
I make money, right, but the fact that I can
help somebody situation and make them better people that are grateful,
not lazy people, right, Like I'm not just helping people
they just don't want to get off the butt, right,
I'm talking about people that deserve a chance, they just

(25:31):
never got that chance. Like that feels good to me
to be a resource to somebody who really really needs it,
and it brings me a different level of joy. I'm
saying money can't buy that, And that's what I mean.
Our house off, the house that I grew up and
I paid it off, and at that moment, like did
she see it coming? She didn't. It's funny because I
called him like hi, and it was like yes, yeah,

(25:53):
the morget I act like my mother at her and
he was like, yeah, it's gonna whatever, and I'm like,
I'm no, I just want to pay the bill. They
like the whole bill. I wanna pay the whole thing off,
a whole house off. That's that's some Boston. She was like,
I'm sech a fan. I'm like, girl, pay this bill paying.

(26:17):
But you know, she was excited. My mother came here
as an immigrant. She got her citizenship when I was
thirteen years old, so like she's never even imagined to
see something like this to somebody that came out of
her womb. A man's this level of success. Sometimes they're
just like, listen, get a good job two weeks. I
didn't way more than that, you know what I'm saying.
I had student loans two hundreds something else and student loans,

(26:39):
picked up the phone and called and paid it on
one check, and she was the co signer on them.
So like all the things that I've been able to
do is really because I wanted to show my mom that,
like I don't you don't have to work, you ain't
gotta do nothing else. You could just sit and look
pretty and help me take baby. That's it. But I'm
gonna make sure that you're good. So she's like speaking
of your mom. She was a musician once upon a time,
still live, Oh she still does. Okay, that's what's up.

(27:01):
And she's a singer okay, and you got the bars though,
you know, right, Funny. I grew up in a musical household,
so my two brothers were producers, music producers. So like
I got an air, you know how some people just
got I know, a good hit. I can listen to
a whole album of songs and tell you what the
single was gonna be. And I'm always right. I've always
had that ear, but I just never pursued it totally.

(27:23):
I could sing a little bit, like I could do
a little bit of everything, and um, it's funny. When
I got the opportunity to do BT site, guess right.
I think he blew everybody on the water with that,
like nobody saw what's up and it was thank you.
It was so fun to do that. And then I
got like over a million impressions. You were saying like

(27:47):
it was the total package. Yeah, man. And then then
I got the opportunity of going with Swaye and do
the same thing. Oh my gosh, that was so you
know how many rappers in the world dream of going
on swear was like that my wildest dreaming. This wasn't
even your dreaming together. Now yeah, right now, mark my words,

(28:07):
I said it today, I'm going to get signed to
a label and I'm not a rapper, I'm a poet
or you can starts already have mine. So it's gonna
be a joint partnership with whoever, because collaboration is the key.
My my motto for two was collaboration is king um
and I did a lot of really good collaborations this

(28:29):
year in partnerships, so I'm crossing that over thee. But
like something big gonna have that it just needed. This
might just do a motivational EPI going to work from
the time you again, from two thousand seventeen to today,
right now, are you sitting in this chair just to
see because we had we had a front row seat.

(28:51):
We had a front row seat of seeing you accomplish
all these spectacular things. And probably I appreciate that her
right there. I wanted to know nothing about you, for
was one of the first people that I stared absolutely yeah,
the first I was like slutty Vegan. We gotta y'all
gotta try to whatever. You kept saying whatever like a

(29:12):
bigger I was like, I promise you is wire, Like
I'm telling y'all we gotta get on the show. Like
and I'm just so proud, man, I'm telling you, like,
I'm so proud. Similar energy. Yeah, you've been consistent the
very first time that I mettioned. You know, I'm very energy,

(29:36):
and you are just so pure like, um no, I
really resonate with you, like when you say you have
to go to the location and feel it, Like I
am one hundred percent that person. So I'm just it's
exciting to see you collaborate the hell out of some collaboration. Yes, Scott, okay,

(29:57):
it's hard to motivate me. You motivated that funk out
of me today. Try to see how you do it.
I ain't even got no kids, and I'm like, lord,
I'm tired. Here you go. You know why, because giving
up throwing in the tower is not an option. Right
when I think about my success, there's a lot of
people that's rooting for me. But I'm sure there's some
people in the wings it is waiting for me to fail,
so they But I didn't think about them, and that

(30:20):
win is making sure that I'm building financial freedom and
wealth for my children. Let me interrupt you politely because
I want to ask you a question. I know we're
running close on time. We talked about all the success, right,
but I know it had to be some discouragement sometimes
in there, and we talk about that because you know,
we were big on mental health. We're big on overcoming

(30:43):
objections and transgressions. Do you care to talk about Absolutely? So,
I've been faced with a lot of demons, people in
the flesh who have tried to destroy my brand because
they couldn't set sit next to me. That comes in
the form of trying to sue me, trying to extort me.

(31:05):
I got there's so much stuff that that has happened
and happening in the real time where people are trying
to literally eject my joy for their benefit, right. And
I had to really get to a mental place of
peace because I understand why people who are in alarme
like just fall off from the world, because you can

(31:27):
have your very best friend next to you and become
your enemy just that quick. So I'm making sure that
I'm protected, and what protection looks looks like for me
is making sure I got India's, making sure I got
confidentiality agreements, making sure that I'm really lawyer it up
because something hit the fan. I got people that are
going to protect me and protect the business. It's unfair

(31:49):
sometimes because I'm such a good person, Like, ain't nobody
gotta tell me that, Like, like I do right by people,
I don't wrong nobody. I'm fair, I'm honest. So I
laid my head down on that white every single night
and I sleep clean because I do the right thing.
Everybody is not that way. Um, And people will take
advantage of your goodness. And I've been taking advantage of

(32:10):
plenty of times, but God, I always got me. Um.
And as an entrepreneur that's building a multimillion dollar company
for the first time, because this is my first time
I've been doing this, I'm still trying to figure life out.
So I'm being faced with people wanting to claim parts
of my business. People who are wanting to take ownership
just because they were employed by me and felt like
they went above and beyond and that like they have

(32:32):
earned something that I didn't give them. Right, I have
people say that like part of that business is mine.
I was in the room when you created it. Like
I've had people say I got this. If you don't
give me this, I'm gonna put this on the internet.
Like that is happening in real time, and it's very
unfair because I'm a very open book and I'm such
a good person. But it happens to the best of us,
and it's just a battery on my back. I feel

(32:53):
like Popeye, like every every time something happens, and it
doesn't happen often, but it's like a ricochet when it
does has happened. So I keep my circle very tight.
I'm with my best friends, I'm with my boyfriend, my husband,
talk about baby Daddy, my husband. But I want to
specifically talk to the entrepreneurs in the room and people

(33:15):
who are listening to this. Success is a very beautiful,
scary roller coaster ride, and you have to be mentally
prepared to take all that comes with it, the good
the bad. I don't went through like twenty thousand assistance
at this point because everybody in a grizzly bear like me, right,
So you gotta understand that as long as you've got
mental piece, you're gonna be all right. And everything that

(33:36):
you do in the business that you dream about and
think about. As long as you're consistent with that thing,
you're going to start to see the fruits of the labor.
And I'm finally now in starting to see the fruits
of my labor. I feel that wholeheartedly. You you deserve it.
You work so hard, and that's a giving. What does
the vacation look like when the last time you took
a vacation crazy? So I came back turks and cakeos

(34:00):
three days ago. The whole time I was on vacation,
I came up with the idea of the sas on vacation,
clearly because you were posted about it just a few days.
And what I say that this is I really love
slutty Veacan. Like this is not a job for me,
So like business is what I do in my past time.

(34:22):
That's my favorite pastime. Like I love to research, I
love to create. I'm a creator, Like I'm a thinker.
Like if we sit here like for hour, we don't
came up with like thirty ideas, Like that's who I am.
So a vacation for me is when I could do
what I just did, step away and like come up
with a really good multimillion dollar business, which I know
this next one is going to be um and that's

(34:43):
kind of like where I get my juice from. Oh no,
you like that, but I just feel yourself. I'm just
so proud. You know, you got good energy than you.
Thank you, Thank your light to this community. I mean
I think you inspired people from one in the other
world to the other end. You're inspiring people who probably
feel like they couldn't get a job because of their records.

(35:05):
You're actually helping them out. You're a mentor to so
many that you probably don't even know. People are claiming
you as their mentor. I take it right, like, congratulations,
thank you. We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more
of The ball or Alert Show. Still listening to a

(35:26):

world famous Slutty Vegan a t L. And you were
locked in to the ball Alert Show. Available wherever you
can get your part, Miss Pinky, I need you looking
at cam. You kind of already did it. Yeah, the

(35:48):
pep talk it's but let me let me and then
give some motivate and it doesn't have to just be
the entrepreneurs. It could be whoever, what's up, y'all, it's
your girl. Pinky co founder and CEO of Slutty Vegan,
a t L bar Vegan, a t L The Pinky
Cold Foundation, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Here
is my nugget for today. You gotta get about that seat.

(36:11):
When I say you gotta get upbout that seat, you
gotta move like there's fire underneath of you. I started
this concept in eighteen as an idea to help me
fulfill something for myself. What I didn't realize is I
was building a multimillion dollar company that was helping people
to reimagine food. But in order to get to where

(36:31):
I wanted to be, I had to get up out
my seat. I had to not get comfortable at what
was happening around me just because I had a popular business.
I had to keep going, even in the moments when
I didn't feel like it, or even in the moments
when people say just take a break, to stop going.
I had to make sacrifices and eliminate the wrong people
out of my life. That's relationships, that's friendships, that's professional relationships.

(36:53):
I had to get clear and get focused and get
up out that seat. Oftentimes a lot of us get comfortable.
I want to sit down and relax and say I'll
do it tomorrow, I'll do it the next day. I
feel like a goddamn Everest commercial. You need to get
up and do it right now. That seat is not
for you to sit in. You sit in that seat
when your story is written, when your story is told,
when you've helped communities, when you have money in your

(37:13):
bank account, that's when you take the seat. But right
now there's fire under the seat. You gotta like that
match so that you can get up and keep going,
even in the moments when you don't want to. I've
gotten out of my seat and now I have a
hundred million dollar company and you can do I can't
get enough of baller Alert. Follow us on all social
