Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hold up, hold up, bowl alert bol alert bowler. Welcome
to The Baller Show podcast, available everywhere you get your podcast.
I go by the name of Ferrari Simmons. A young
girl is your vesty, so so sorry for the list.

(00:23):
You have a liner, so my mouth is tight? Liner?
Is it clear? Correct? Or so? Who is it with
our liners? Like their individual invisible braces? Then you have
that before? Yeah, I failed, SOW. I'm back again. I'm
motivated this time for damn Lord little pain o ct

(00:45):
on the ones and two you always are you guys
ready to get started because BT is skipping work today. Yeah,
I got my seat back. Okay. Update on Damar Hamlin
Uh released from the hospital one week after cardiac arrest
from the Cincinnati. He is now headed to the hospital

(01:06):
locally in Buffalo, New York. For him, he's in good
spirits and on the way to back to normal health.
That paying attention to that. He's been tweeting too. He's
been tweeting I saw him a meek mill post um man.
This recovery is like literally immaculate. It is a miracle

(01:27):
that he went from one extreme to where he is now.
I think it's super dupe I'm excited for him because
you'all see that the the medical team got their flowers bills,
they brought them out. Um, that was dope. I ain't
gonn lie my humanitarian and I don't know if that's
a word. Uh, antenna is all the way up. I

(01:48):
am so I get so emotional now about stuff like this,
like just because like I saw that ship on TV.
That ship was so like man, he just went from
lifeless to he's alive. It wasn't for that staff, he
probably would not have been alive right now. We would
have probably seen a few of the guys. That man

(02:09):
is blast. He is sub blast, So salute to him.
And I think he's on recovery to potentially playing again
one day. Yeah, it depends on the way that this
is going. I don't think so. I think he's done playing,
but I do think that they would give him a
job in the NFL. Or do you think that he
wants to play again? It's probably definitely. Don't think that

(02:32):
he would be able to physically, you know, his body
probably couldn't take all that. But I do think that
he would get a job though. In the NFL. Madden
the video game is removing the CPR celebration that used
to be a celebration. A couple of teams didn't. It's normal.
So it has been going on for decades, if you know,
for the players has a long touchdown run a long

(02:55):
interception for a touchdown and they'd be like that they
fake pass out and then the teammate comes and goes who.
So now it's starting to get sensitive and Mad in
the video game has taken out the celebration in the
video game, Yeah, they celebration, they update mad and like
every year, right and it'll be it'll happen. I'm pretty

(03:18):
sure it may have the O t A. If it
happens over right now, they'll see it will be an
update as soon as you log into you account and
may say update features because they will update the celebrations
take it out. I can understand it. I'm just kind
of wondering, like what's going to be left, Like I
like the way that we're going in five years, everything
is going to be inappropriate and sensitive. You can't do this,
like what are they gonna do now? They're just gonna

(03:40):
go and h five each other. You know, you can
barely you can barely even dance now the celebrate the
celebrations in the NFL. It's a lot. Everything's so insensitive
these days. Okay, new Eminem's all female packaging being used
to raise money for women in music? Did you guys
see this that? Do women in music? No know what

(04:03):
I'm saying that I'm talking about the lesbian Eminem's. Are
we talking about? Wait? What eminem all female packaging being
used to raise money for women in music. Eminem's is
honoring remarkable women with all new candy packaging and funding
for several women empowerment services. Okay, I saw something online

(04:24):
about lesbian Eminem's. How about that one? I just think
this is just maybe I'm delusional, but there's something about
lesbian Eminem's. Nothing wrong with Leslian nothing at all. That's
what I was curious, And I was like, you love
the lesbian Eminem's, Like, uh yeah, I just automatically what

(04:47):
you said Eminem's. I just immediately went to the story
of the lesbian Eminem's. Okay, so last week Mars Eminem's
parent company unveiled candy rappers with with a strong message
supporting women flipping status qu oh um, stuff like that.
With the eminem I think that's amazing I do. Okay, yeah,

(05:08):
I don't think Eminem's no lesbian Eminem. So no. Eminem's
launches Volke female only special edition candy featuring lesbian green
and chocolate Eminem's. Okay, lesbian green, got it part of it? Right? Yeah?
I think it's just one of the colors in the pack,
that's what you're saying. Yeah, but together they're lesbians. Oh

(05:30):
you're talking about the actual Eminem's are together? Correct? My bad,
because you know the commercial they're relationship, the whole pack
is lesbian no No, no time out. So there's two
things going on. We got the eminem for the women,
right with the message and stuff like that music, right,
but also there's a lesbian Eminem because they have the

(05:53):
eminem commercials and content. Well, you know it's the boy
Eminem's and the girl Eminem's. Now it's it's two girl
Eminem's that like each other. So that's what she was
talking about, So put it on the screen. Okay, Yeah,
that's confused that Okay. Shout out to Scissors. Her albums

(06:13):
holds off Taylor Swifts for the fourth week at number one.
Amazing I just started listening to her first albums, Will
go ahead. What did the d M say, Ferrari, I
shot my shot? What saying I am not? I am
a married man. I'm not repeating what I said. I
did say something in the d M before though, BT

(06:36):
before T she is thick. Did y'all see she? Damn
it broke the internet? Like that girl is sick. She
posted that that little boody shot. I was like, you
know it's thickers. It a snicker, emin am, this is dope.
Though she's definitely dope. She got good vibes to I
interviewed her back when I was at V one O three,
uh first and only time actually, and she got good energy.

(06:58):
Many scissor we Love You Want TD is crazy. It's
just I just love it. Shot out to her team too,
because she always does dope. I remember her. Remember her
song cover was a text message. Yeah, that was a
single before I Hate You. What I really like about
says it's like when you listen to her music, it
is so real, it's so relatable, like and she is
saying things that maybe some people don't know how to say.

(07:20):
They're feeling it, but they don't know how to say it.
Turn on the says the album I love the fact
that she texts her time. You know how long we
had to win on this album. Yeah, at least we
got one long time. At least we got one from
says Rihanna, like what the hell are you doing right now?
And you love Asa Rocket, You're getting ready for the

(07:43):
super Bowl. But after that, what else he's gonna do?
She gave you a song for Black Panthers that is
not enough And it was a ballot. It was so slow.
Where I want some violence, I want some fist problem.
I want something reread goddamn it, I don't follow you
from Nathaniel, something that I can listen to for a

(08:04):
long time, longer than thirty five minutes her right, He
say an interview that she's like being a mom, so whatever, Yeah,
not so whatever. Facet it okay? Uh, And we just
found out about green lesbian Eminem's Uh did you guys

(08:24):
see Gucci man his wife post receipts of them paying
for the funeral for Big Scar. First of all, first
and foremost, RP the Big Scar um young guy from Memphis,
Um super dope talent, had had a benefit of talking
to him and um DM me him back and forth

(08:47):
very very early in his career and to see him
turn up. Gucci Man signed him and he was on
the way of being a big emergent talent. Um to
see him, you know that from a drug over. Those
really hurt um Man Man. That's I heard, you know,
I heard it had to right in front of his girlfriend. Well, uh,

(09:07):
you know, things are going out. I believe it was
people saying that Gucci Man didn't pay for the funeral.
Um and his wife posted the receipts of ten thousand
dollars for the frual and ten thousand dollars for the flowers.
Shout out to Kesha Kor. It just seems so crazy
to me that people would go online and try to

(09:28):
blast that so and so didn't pay for this funeral.
Let's just be straight up. No one is obligated to
pay for anyone's funeral, Like literally, no one is obligated
to do this for you, for him. That's the reality.
Like we need to do better as a community. There's
life insurance, there's your own family. Like just because Gucci

(09:51):
has money does not mean that he's obligated to do
any of it. But then for someone to at this point,
it looks like they lied for someone's lie and say
that he didn't pay for it or didn't contribute or
whatever the case is. And there's receipts, and one time
of Big Scars Dad, Big Scars Dad did come out
and say that Gucci Man and Company paid and it

(10:14):
was a miscommunication. So who's the person that that put
it out there that he did? It was one of
his best friends, that Big Scar the rappers, one of
his best friends, and he just he or she just
he tried to pay. And in that part, I don't know,
but that's that's what was circulating. And then text messages
supposedly from the sister. I don't know how accurate that party.

(10:37):
So okay, do you guys think this was for cloud? Like,
why go on social media and say that? I know,
the younger demographic, the younger generations zeers like to take
things to the internet. I hated. I was gonna comment.
My only comment on this story was going to be
certain things should be handled off offline. Um, and this

(10:57):
is something that should have been handled offline. They also
said that Gucci asked for the chain back allegedly. Yeah,
oh that's why the sister said everything's gonna be buried
with her brother. You know, this is such a sensitive topic, man,
and Scar, we lost we lost somebody and um, he's

(11:20):
not coming back. Um, so to even to ask for
something back that fresh into it, I don't know. You know,
I don't know, man, Uh. I just know social media
ain't the place for it to be a definite because
it's circulating, still circulating now as we talk. That sucks.
So the sister said that she was going to bury

(11:42):
her brother with the chain. Correct, that will, but I
don't if that happened. I don't know the funeral has
already happened. I'm not sure if that has happened. So
I'm not sure. Okay, let's say that the family kept
the chain. Do you guys think it would be fair
to give it back to Gucci? Good question, I'd say, yes,
what do you think? I don't know. I think it's

(12:05):
a little tricky, like unless Gucci man says you can
keep him, go ahead. I mean, I think it's if
I feel really indifferent about it because you gave it
to him. It's his now, right like it's his, it's
it's his. So typically what happens when someone passes away,
your family will keep something like that on the flip side.

(12:26):
I think Gucci as a CEO is like I don't
want like I give this to people that are on
my team. I don't want someone who's not on my
team wearing you know, just so I kind of get
that right, Um, tricky place, tricky place, And I don't
And I don't know Gucci man asked for it back.

(12:49):
We know that Kesha said leave my husband alone. No,
we know that question of the day, Oh CT, what
you got for us? Lord? Have Marcy had to get
the get the slave out my liners to suck it
out your liners? All right? So Snoop Dogg recently, uh,
I don't know if he posted it or somebody posted

(13:11):
it to social media. His friends from the eighties and
you are still friends with them today. It was really
cool that kind of like a Lebron Giames and um
childhood friends and their schoolst friends now like kind of
humanizing them, right, Like I think sometimes you think of
like these celebrities or these legends is like they just
moved on left left their old life completely behind. And

(13:33):
it's like no, actually, like my friends of my friends,
my career is my career. Yeah, it's a little left.
So the question is do you all still have childhood
friends or they're still the test of time. Yeah, definitely
shout out to my girls. Susie, we actually fell out
for a couple of years. We didn't talk, and we
reconnected and realized that it was super childish, super petty,

(13:53):
and we just didn't understand each other's perspective perspectives at
that time, and we were able to talk about it.
Didn't it made sense. I received what she said, she
received what I was saying, and we agreed that it
was time lost, like unnecessary time loss. So but yeah,
I've known Susie since we were like eleven. We come

(14:13):
from the same culture. We're both from sigilai. Um. That's
my girl. Lover love you, Susie. No, yeah, I've been
I've been friends with the people I've been friends for
for a very long time. You guys both were at
my wedding, um my rooms coming outside of Jay Rock
uh d C. I've known them since I was eighteen

(14:37):
childhood child. My childhood friends are actually my family members
and my cousins. So yeah, even that you know, like
like elementary school, we were born together. But what I'm
saying like friends that are outside of your family, So
my friends. You had my friends with my family members
because we went to school together. So basically, you ain't
got no childhood friends. To the test of time, I

(15:02):
never made friends outside of my cousins like that. Like
I literally my who passed away long lived at Margaret.
She had four boys. That's all my friends. I need
no school. Yeah, but they weren't my best friends. Off
as you grew, you didn't they like boosters, they just

(15:23):
fall off because I never made them my best friends
because my cousins were my best friends. I have twin cousins.
You have to see your cousins every year, right and
thanks getting every day my mom and his mom. And
I'm saying, like her years, I never, I never. I
never detoured from that same like I literally hung out

(15:43):
with my cousins. The only time I had new friends
when I moved to Atlanta and I met su solo,
but I got D C O C T for real
talk and then like a conversation with your mama's like, yeah,
his friends are his cousins. I agree with that. When um,

(16:03):
you moved to a new place, you you don't you
just kind of your friends kind of fall off, and
that I'm I'm a product of that, Um, I don't
really talk to you know, and I'm a military brand too,
so you kind of move from It's just like you
don't really hold on. I mean, I know I got
a sprinkle of people who I talked to, but I
wouldn't say we're friends, you know, because they don't really

(16:25):
know you. They're not in your life every day. You
don't talk to him. So it's kind of like, how
do you nurt your relationship, you know with outside of
people who you see all the time. You know. So
do you think that that moving does it or do
you just think that maybe you're just not aligned. Maybe
like the new experiences that you're having are just not
in alignment with what that friendship was. I think sometimes

(16:48):
life just happens, and you know, life can you know,
make people move exceparate different, separate directions. You grow out
of people. Um. You know, like I had a long
time friend and you know we reconnected, but it's like you, um,
if you don't take time to try to get to
know that person, then it's like what are we doing?

(17:09):
It's you know, so and it's nothing against that person.
They probably are great, great people, but um, you just
know you just grow in different directions. Sometimes they like,
I'm literally thinking about my entire life, my time my cousins,
I really didn't have no friends. I was like, damn,
I really don't have no friends. Like the friends I

(17:31):
started having outside of my cousins were came in high
school and then in college. But even with my cousins,
we all went to the same college together. You know
something I realized I have a problem with And I
realized this a long time ago. I have a problem
of letting go of friendships that I know are no
longer in alignment for me. And one thing is I

(17:51):
feel I feel guilty. And then I hate when someone says, oh,
you don't want to be my friend an even or
because you're doing all this other stuff. Now you know,
you've got follows, that you have, your radio, you have that.
And the reality is all those things could be true,
but it doesn't change the fact that we're not aligning. Like,

(18:12):
all of those things could be true. I could be
making new friends, I could be making more money, I
could be having different experiences. All that is true, but
it does not change that we're not connecting the way
that I need us to connect. So I have you know,
we've been talking about things that we want to work
on and all this stuff, and literally I'm just coming

(18:33):
to terms with like I eat ship all the time.
I will take ship all the time because I'm trying
to protect someone else's feelings. I don't want to hurt you.
I feel guilty about it, and I'm realizing that, like
I'm getting the shorter end of the stick by doing that.
So now you're choosing yourself like yourself and and I'm
one who is oppositeed at like I'm always looking to

(18:55):
clean up my life. I'm always doing self analysis, Like
I feel like people be there for who they want
to be there for. You know what I'm saying, if
you take time to like if I actually you guys,
you know how you're doing whatever, like that, I genuinely
care about what how you're doing. It's a it's a
give and take my situation. But if I feel like
I'm the only one giving, then I'm going to remove myself,

(19:17):
you know. And that's how I just kind of like
sometimes like after the year or or so many years,
and I'm just looking like like you look in your
call logue, like I don't even talk to this person
or more, let me just clear this person out. I
don't mind doing that. We all need that. Yeah, I
definitely have learned to protect my feelings for sure, because
before I would beef like you're guarded though, Like do

(19:39):
you feel guarded or is there a difference between being
guarded and protecting yourself? I don't know, because I'm always
a helper, right, So I always want to help because
for some reason, I just as I've been blessed to
be able to make some money and have some success,
I want other people to have it too. So if
I'm around you, when you're in my space ace and

(20:00):
I get to know you, I just naturally are going
to help and be happy for you, genuinely. So I
found myself over extending myself for people that just be like,
I don't care if you're trying to help me or not.
I don't want any help. And I kind of was like, no,
but you should X y Z or you know. I
kind of was over doing it and I was like them,

(20:22):
but I'm doing too much for people. Let me just
fall back and I help when I can or I
help when it's received, And I just don't do as
much as I used to be and I feel like
it's an energy thing too. I protect my I like
to protect my energy. I have to protect myself, you know.
So it's just like if if you like being in

(20:43):
this business, you come across a lot of self centered
people who are just hakers for themselves, like a bunch
of sharks, and if they smell blood, you toast, you know.
Uh So it's like you have to have a guard up,
you know. And but sometimes when you talk to people,
have conversation is with people, um and they kind of
aligned with your energy, then you're kind of open more

(21:05):
to receiving or giving a little bit more of yourself.
I get that good vibes therapy session. Okay, neither that.
We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of The
Baller Alert Show. Is it love? From the minute I
met you, baby, I knew I wanted to memory the
love of money money. It's love versus money. They say

(21:28):
you can't put a price tag on love. I love
you on the ball Or Alert Show that with the
Brother Alert Show, we got love versus money. I gave
a couple you let me know if they're there for
the love or it's just business, all right? So I'm
not sure how many people watch this show, but love

(21:48):
after lock Up? I didn't love versus Money Monique Robinson
and Derek Warren Jr's there. I've probably spent about thousand
dollars on him. Hey man, look for the pushing. You
know some guys like large women. Um, are you answering

(22:11):
the question right? I'm gonna answer the question. I think
I think there are feelings there on both sides. But
I also think he wouldn't mind getting the hell on
if something better, uh more economically better approaches him. I
think he's making an economical and emotional decision. That's it.

(22:35):
I think he likes her. Do you think that he
likes what she could do for him or what she
is doing for him? Or I do think that he
knows what she can do for him and it's beneficial
for him. I think he I think he made an
emotional and economical decision. So you think he's there for
the money. He likes her and he loves the money.
I think love comes in all different forms, and I

(22:58):
think that every day show, I think people are are
being really mean and they're judging. Yeah, I think people mean.
I think they're talking about her, her physique. I think
I think that's what they're doing sometimes, you guys, people,
love is blind. Love is blind. Now I think she

(23:22):
clearly loves this man. Obviously, you're not doing all of this.
You're not taking care of someone and being their backbone
and all this if you don't really love them. For him,
I think he's trying to grow to love her. Possibly,
and and maybe that's just because I feel like we've
seen this show so many times, and so many times

(23:46):
the person on the outside is being taken advantage of
because the person on the inside needs some support. I
don't know this man. I can't really say I don't.
I don't know too much, but I just had that
mean what y'all saying? Y'all being me real man, I
don't like it his ice. His watch was really icy.
I wonder if he bought it. She bought it. He

(24:07):
ain't buy that ship, just like he ain't buy the
damn meal. He added all that extra stuff on the
tab and said, baby, you got it. I'm gonna take
care of that. We'll be right back with more of
the Baller Alert show. That's a time for baller mail.
First and foremost. Shout out to Ebony over here fan

(24:28):
base for the tea. Dear Baller, I am a day
one fan of the show. My man is definitely doing
something illegal, but I just don't know what it is.
He is currently in between jobs, but somehow comes up
with money to cover things. It was my birthday last
weekend and he took me out to eat fancy restaurant

(24:49):
food and drinks. I was expecting him to maybe ask
me to go half on the bill, but he paid
for it in full and paid our rent for February. Now,
my man ain't the smartest man out. Oh, so I'm
trying to figure out how in the hell is he
paying for all this stuff with no job? Should? How
should I go about this? Need you all advice? Girl?

(25:10):
Just ask that man the question. Y'all doing the booty,
y'all live together. Just ask a question, how are you
getting this money? Because I know you ain't got no money,
You ain't had no money. Where are you getting this
money from? All of a sudden? And you might have
to run? He might be doing some super legal She
might have to leave or put him out if he's
doing something that's putting her at risk. But ask You're

(25:34):
surprised that he didn't asked you to pay for half
your birthday did or you're surprised that he paid the
rent like girl asked the question, Well, I hope they
ain't got no kids. He's probably taking out credit cards
and their names and and are definitely blessed with the
sixth sense. Uh. One of the strongest senses is, y'all
know when somebody's full of ship. You know this man

(25:55):
is full of ship, and you call or you typed
this letter up to strangers ball alert that you don't
even know for us to confirm that this man is
full of ship. Now he an't got no damn job,
and he paid for your meal, and he paid the rent.
I don't know how much the rent is. I would
say that y'all stay together. Y'all probably in a one

(26:17):
to two bearing apartment. I don't hear. I don't hear
no kids in that, So that's fine. You need to
start being nosy, like y'all women's always do. Start paying
attention to what's going on around the house. You see
some credit card devices. Maybe he is doing some online
that he shouldn't be doing. Maybe he is a pimp,
Maybe he is a male stripper. Maybe he is doing

(26:37):
some ship on only fans. I don't know what he's doing.
All I know is he getting to the money's and
you don't know how. What you need to do is
put up the antennas that y'all women got and got
damn search for that ship. Figure it out. Then ask
him and see if he gonna lie to you, because
he's probably gonna lie to you. If not, we will
find out on my truth crime started by Renny. Guys,

(27:00):
they always I mean the people that you at least
think that be doing stuff, be having know what he's doing.
But I ain't gonna say it, okay, the fact that
he all of a sudden has money and it isn't
even communicating to you like, hey babe, I got a job,
Hey babe. Like girl, you clearly are going to have
to ask because he's not gonna tell you. He's not
volunteering on information, and you don't want to have your
hands in there and being accessory to no crime. What's

(27:22):
your job? Because if you do something federal then and
if you're spending the money or not asking any questions,
probably taking your food, can't stamp card and then swapping
in four. She would definitely hunted. She would maybe he's
in charge of getting the groceries, but then work in
the movie. Okay, right now, pep talk, pep talk. First,

(27:47):
I just want to say, man, now when you got
put you in my pocket girl, and just just have
you just make t stand on on the mad She's
so good. Yes, tellous, Right now, we're don't talk about
the feelings again. Why you want to talk about something
you want to say? I mean, he just thought us
he didn't have any friends. I did not say that
with my cousins. My cousins are my friends, and I didn't.

(28:09):
I just realized that as we're talking. Damn, I didn't
make real friends. Hurts. Today's pep talk um comes from
Steve Jobs. He once said, Uh, if you want to
walk fast, walk alone, but if you want to walk far,
walk together. So rory soon. What is your takes on teamwork? Well,

(28:31):
I'm married, so I'm in the ultimate teamwork. Um. We
got baby Mama's as teamwork. Um. I work with you
all as teamwork. Um, A mentor and a dad as teamwork.
It's all. I'm surrounded by teamwork. I just know that
it requires immense communication, understanding, discernment. Um. Here we're gonna

(28:53):
talk about our feelings, trusting people, which I'm not the
best at. Um my my only that I have and
this is a transparent moment. If I know I could
do the job better, I may not trust somebody to
do something. So that's my only issue that I may
have with teamwork. Sometimes, if I could hit by five
threes in a row and I know I can, I'm

(29:14):
not necessarily keen on saying all right here, I'm gonna
pass you the ball, because if you hit three out
of the five and I know I can hit five
out of five, I'm gonna be like, damn, help, I
should have said the shots. But I am learning as
I'm growing, and so solo is my witness. I Before
I make decisions, I don't I call her. Sometimes I
call my wife. Now I use the people around me,

(29:36):
and I'm learning to do things as a team, and
I'm learning to be a better teammate. So yes, being
a team and a teammate, to me, it's way better
than doing things by yourself. And then it's a little
bit more rewarding on my end because it's like, yeah,
because you know, I'm I feel like I'm a really
good cheerleader. You know, if I like, if you guys

(29:56):
are doing something, I love to see other people w
That's one thing I genuinely like. But then sometimes I
have that that tough part where I'd be like, I
can do I can just do it myself sometimes. But
teamwork is definitely better than doing things and walking along.
That was the question, right, Yeah, yeah, I mean it's
a pep talk motivation teamwork. So I don't necessarily think

(30:21):
that teamwork always means fifty Like, I don't think that
that means we both have to equally be doing something
or there's an expectation that you're always going to be
doing something. I think teamwork is really about understanding who
you are in a team with whatever that is, whether
it's an intimate relationship or a family or a co worker.
I think it's really just um supporting people U understanding

(30:44):
their strengths, their weaknesses, being there to support when they
need it, whether it's you know, hey, I'm a better
editor than you are, but you're great with lights, let
me help you with that. Like, I think it's just
it's not always fifty five. And I think that people
want teamwork or they look at teamwork as a thing,

(31:04):
and sometimes you don't realize that you're putting unnecessary pressure
on people because there's this unrealistic expectation of what teamwork is.
So I just think it's more so about understanding who
you're with, how we're working, how we're moving, what the
goal is, and supporting each other and getting to that goal.
Whatever that looks like for you, is an individual and
us together, So Boling Nation. If you want to walk fast,

(31:28):
walk alone, but if you want to walk far, you
got to do it together. I can't get enough of
