Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is official.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Joe Biden lied to the American people again, and Joe
Biden lied to the American people about a pardon for
his son. I want to remind you, Joe Biden said
he would respect the jurys, he would respect the court system,
he would respect the verdicts, and he would not pardon
his son. Senator Ted Cruz and I predicted this back
(00:25):
in January of this year, and I'm going to play
that piece of audio for you in a moment. Senator
Cruz is also going to join us as we're going
to talk about this shocking news. But we predicted that
Joe Biden was lying to the American people. Now, let's
talk about the spin real quick that the media has
put on this and this part I want all of
(00:46):
you to understand, and this is the most important thing
that we're going to cover in the podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
It is one of those that is truly shocking to me.
It is one of those that makes me angry. It
is one of those that incredibly frustrating for me because
the media is trying to say, We'll hold on a second,
He's just a dad protecting his kids. That's all he's
doing here. He's a dad protecting his kid, and this
(01:16):
is what any dad would do. I want you to
understand first off, why that is a lie. Joe Biden
is not doing the thing that a dad would do.
Joe Biden is protecting the bag man for the Biden
crime family. Hunter Biden was the bag man for the
corruption of selling out America to the highest bidder, whether
(01:40):
it was money coming from China, coming from the Chinese
Communist Party, coming from those that worked in the intelligence
community and the Chinese Communist Party, for the CCP that
we're doing business with the bidens, it was we are
going to sell it to the highest bidder. That's what
this has always been. This is what it was from
the very begin Hunter Biden was the highest bidder in Ukraine.
(02:03):
His dad figured out a way to be in charge
of Ukraine. And what happened. They made tens of millions
of dollars in payments, buying influence with the US government.
Let me also remind you something else that is really important.
Ukraine Russia War. Do you want to know who still
has not been sanctioned in that war? The woman who
(02:26):
gave several million dollars to the Biden crime family, whose
husband was the former mayor of Moscow. When Russia invaded Ukraine,
many of the oligarchs were sanctioned, their assets were frozen,
their houses were frozen. In the US, there was a
lot of things they did to put pressure on Vladimir Putin.
But the woman who gave millions of dollars to the
(02:49):
Biden crime family and the bagman being Hunter Biden, has
never been sanctioned and put on the sanctions list. Ask
yourself a question, why was she never put on the list?
Because they paid millions of dollars the Biden crime family.
You have millions coming from Romania, you have the laptop
(03:09):
from Hell, you have all of the paper trail, you
have all the money. You have his brother Joe Biden.
And let's talk about the cash here, because I want
you to understand a couple other aspects of this. Not
only did Joe Biden make history as the first president
to pardon his criminal son, but this is the same
Joe Biden that tweeted out on five point thirty one
(03:32):
of this year. No one is above the law. That's
obviously not true. If your last name is Biden, you
were absolutely above the law. Let's also talk about how
massive this pardon is and how many years this pardon
covers for all of the crimes of the Biden crime family.
Joe Biden's blanket pardon of Hunter covers the entire period
(03:56):
of twenty fourteen and the CIA coup and when Hunter
was appointed to the board of the Ukrainian Gas Company.
This means that he can't be investigated for any criminal
activity during this timeframe. Let me also say something else
here that you need to understand about this. When you
(04:18):
look at the Biden crime family, and I said this early,
and I'll say it again, they did it again here.
This was the plan all along. You shouldn't be in
the media. It's like, well, it's a dad, it's a dad.
You should have compassion for the dad. The dads just
looking out for the son, right, So you should all
just have compassion for the son. No, I don't, because
he's not his son. He used his son's addiction to hookers,
(04:40):
to prostitutes, He used his son's addiction to drugs to
make them money and to be his bagman. And that
was always going to be his excuse. And that is
exactly why he is off the hook for everything. If
you want to know what Joe Biden is he is
a criminal, his son is a criminal, and they had
(05:02):
a criminal enterprise selling access to the United States government.
That is how the Biden crime family should always be remembered.
And when President Joe Biden is spending his final days
in office rolling out a full and complete pardon of
his criminal son, Hunter Biden, just know he lied to
you because he said he would never do this quote.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
I will not pardon him.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
That's what Joe Biden said in June after jury found
him guilty on three federal gun charges.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
NBC News reported on the pardon, saying this the decision
marks a reversal for the president who has repeatedly said
he would not use his executive authority to partner his
son or commute a sentence. The pardon comes out of
Hunter Biden's December the twelve sentencing Okay, So that was
going to be in what eleven days for his conviction
on federal gun charges.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Hunter Biden is.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Also said to be sentence in a separate criminal case
on December the sixteenth, so fifteen days from now. After
pleading guilty in some Timber on federal tax evasion charges,
President Biden has discussed issuing a pardon for his son
with some of his closest aids, since at least Hunter
Biden's conviction in June, two people would direct knowledge the
discussions about the matter. Said so, in other words, Joe
(06:13):
Biden is a scumbag liar who lied to the American
people about his health, about his cognitive decline, and about
saying he would respect the court and the decision, and says, no,
never mind, screw that, I'm going to pardon the bagman.
I go back to the media spin on this. The
media will keep saying over and over and over and
over again that this is just a dad taking care
(06:36):
of his son, and you would do the same thing.
I'm going to say it again. This is scumbaggerye, this
is corruption. This is a bagman. They knew they were
taking advantage of a drug addict and Hunter Biden for
him to do the deals in Russia and Ukraine, in.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Romania and in China. They all knew it.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
They didn't care that he could be taking drugs that
might kill him because the money was flowing into the
Biden crime family and the alibi was always going to
be well, he was a drug addict, He didn't know
what he was doing.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
He was a drug addict. He didn't know what he
was doing.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
All right, I just got to take a moment and
tell you about an amazing company. And the company is
called Ammo Square. And I'm going to get you some
free Amo in your account today and I'm going to
tell you how to do it in a moment. But first,
let me just tell you about Amo Squared. Ammo Square
ensures that you have Ammo when you need it. It's
an automated approach to purchasing Ammo on any budget. It's
really amazing. You just pick your calibers, you select a
(07:36):
shipping trigger, and bam, that's it. And your AMMO grows
slowly over time. And here's what I love Amo Square
the most. They store my Ammo for free as it
builds up. I don't ever have to worry about moving
around big palettes or a bunch of heavy AMMO in
my house anymore. Ammo Squared also offers nearly seventy different
(07:57):
caliber options, and each shipment well, it contains a carefully
curated mix of factory new ammunition. It's also budget friendly
and I can change it whenever I want to. Yeah,
customizable You can buy as little as a few dollars
a month and then use cost dollar averaging to your advantage.
Everything is managed online using a custom web app, and
(08:19):
you don't have to worry about moving those heavy case
of Ammo in your garage or wanting it to sell
Ammo one day. Maybe you change guns. You got one
set of Ammo you don't need any more in a
certain caliber. Well you don't have to deal with that either,
because you can literally exchange your Ammo squat inventory from
one caliber to another in just a second with a
click of a button. The other thing is, maybe you
(08:40):
want to get rid of some Ammo that's stored up.
Maybe prices go through the roof. You can sell back
your Ammo and make big bucks as well. There's no
minimum to buy, no memberships needed, and no extra fees.
You buy Ammo on a small budget, then watch a
grow over time like a savings account.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Today.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Now, let me just go back real quick and play
for you. This is what Joe Biden said back in
Italy in June of this year.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
I'm extremely proud of my son Hunter. He has overcome
an addiction. He is He's one of the greatest, most
decent men I know. And I am satisfied that I'm
not going to do anything I said. I adviuye by
the jury decision, and I will do that and I
will not partner him.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Just the same liar that lied to you and said
I never talked to my son about any of his
business dealings, and we met, we kept a firewall between
all of their business dealings in my administration. Then we
find out all these people that are doing deals with
the Sun are coming to the White House and getting
the hookup on other deals. Like the level of corruption here.
I want to be clear. Both these men should be
in jail and so should his brother for the crimes
(10:03):
that they committed. And what the President just did here
is he said, guess what to you, the American people,
I don't give a crap what I told you. I
know I was lying to you, and by the way
I predicted it back in January Senator Cruz and I
predicted it together in January. We said, together, mark my word,
come December, they will pardon Hunter Biden. And this is
(10:26):
a pardon that covers basically a decade of sins of
the Biden crime family. And this is not a dad
looking out for a son. This is a dad, a
criminal who is forced to do this because he is
the bagman and knows everything about the family. And this
(10:49):
was always going to be their plan. Hey, if we
get caught, we'll just say he was an addict, and
he was an addict, and he was an and we'll
say it over and over and over and over and
over and over and over again. We'll just keep saying it,
and then we'll say we're so proud of him, and
(11:11):
then we'll say how proud of him we are that
he's overcome so much, and then we will pardon him.
This is how you get away with it. They planned
it out and we all got played, and the media
helped cover it up full stop. I want you to
hear my conversation center Ted Cruz and I had about
(11:31):
this story, and it is truly again shocking that the
pardon and I just want to clarify this starts the
exact year that Hunter Biden was named to the board
of Barisma, that Ukrainian energy company. This is to cover
all the Biden crime family crimes. That is how wide
(11:54):
reaching this pardon is of Hunter Biden.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Take a listen.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
So all right, let's start with the narrative and work
our way back. When this news broke tonight, we were
all on text message and this was the first part,
was Joe Biden pardons his son Hunter. I wasn't surprised
by it. You predicted it. You weren't surprised by. What
I was surprised was the amount of time of this
that it covers. He's basically off the hook for everything
(12:21):
that involves the Biden crime family. And this is after
Joe Biden repeatedly promised that he would not do this,
that he would it would honor and respect the justice
system and the juries and whatever they decided to do
with his son.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
That was also all a lie.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
And I think the part that was the most shocking
is how the media is covering this now now, and
I want to start with that. They're all saying to
the American people, will look, he already lost his son,
one son who died a brain cancer.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
This is just a dad being a dad. I don't
buy that for a second.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
I think this is him protecting the the crime family
and the bag man, and that protects him. I don't
think this is compassion from a father or your reaction
to that.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
Well, listen what Joe Biden said today. Put out a
lengthy statement. Let me read his statement. Then we're going
to talk about what it means. Here's what Joe Biden said.
Quote today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter.
From the day I took office, I said I would
not interfere with the Justice Department's decision making, and I
kept my word even as I watched my son being
selectively and unfairly prosecuted without aggravating factors like use in
(13:29):
a crime, multiple purchases are buying a weapon as a
straw purchaser. People are almost never brought to trial on
felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form.
Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions,
but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties are
typically given non criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter
was treated differently. The charges in his case came about
(13:51):
only after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated
them to attack me and oppose my election. Then a
carefully negotiated pleading agreed to by the Department of Justice
and unraveled in the courtroom, with a number of my
political opponents in Congress taking credit for bringing political pressure
on the process. Had the plea deal held, it would
have been a fair reasonable resolution of Hunter's cases. No
(14:15):
reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter's cases
can reach any other conclusion. Then Hunter was singled out
only because he is my son, and that is wrong.
There has been an effort to break Hunter, who has
been five and a half years sober, even in the
face of unrelenting attacks and selected prosecution. In trying to
break Hunter, they've tried to break me. There's no reason
(14:38):
to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough. For
my entire career, I have followed a simple principle. Just
tell the American people the truth. They'll be fair minded.
Here's the truth. I believe in the justice system. But
as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw
politics has infected this process and it has led to
a miscarriage of justice. And once I made this decision
(15:00):
this weekend. There was no sense in delaying it.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Further.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
I hope Americans will understand why a father and a
president would come to this decision. Well, let me start
with his ending. I understand why I said in January,
Joe Biden would pardon Hunter Biden, and understand that to
anyone who listens to this podcast, it's not a surprise.
It is obvious Hunter Biden is not some lonely crackhead
(15:24):
who just sort of went astray. That's what Joe Biden,
the entire White House has tried to paint him as.
Hunter Biden's business was selling access to Daddy. The real
crook here is Joe Biden. And this is something that
in this podcast we've broken down in elaborate detail the
(15:44):
evidence of criminality that Joe Biden, the Biden family, they
made tens of millions of dollars selling favors from Joe Biden. Listen,
nobody pays Hunter Biden. Nobody pays a crackhead money when
he has no marketable services. He was not selling anything
other than Daddy. So when Joe Biden is saying, oh
(16:05):
it is terrible, no one's prosecuted for this. Number One
I'll tell you this. If you use crack cocaine with prostitutes,
illegally buying guns with guns, you will be prosecuting and
you will go to jail.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
You don't.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
People not named Biden don't get away with that. By
the way, if you also defraud the federal government out
of millions of dollars of taxes, you will be prosecuted.
That is true as well. But the real corruption. Listen,
the Biden Justice Department decline to prosecute, deliberately allow the
statute of limitation to expire on many of the most
egregious examples of corruption, everything that implicated the big guy. Understand,
(16:43):
this is all about Joe Biden. It's not about Hunter Biden.
So when Joe Biden entered this pardon, it is about
protecting his own rear end. Does he love his son, sure?
Does he want to protect his son, Sure, It's why
I was certain he would grant this pardon. But if
you really love your son, you don't send out your
son who was an addict, to be the front man,
to be the bag man in collecting millions of dollars
(17:05):
selling access to you. Joe Biden was perfectly willing to
use his son as the point person and plan to
blame it on the addiction. And and so I've got
to say Joe Biden's claiming, well, gosh, it's just unfair.
He was targeted. What is unfair, what is not right,
is that the Biden family made for decades a practice
(17:27):
of selling favors from Joe Biden that is fundamentally corrupt.
And let me say finally, in Joe Biden's statement, he
talks about, well, there was a plea deal from the
Department of Justice and then it collapsed. Well, you know what,
this podcast played a significant role in causing that that
that plea deal would.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Corrupt to collapse.
Speaker 4 (17:48):
And why because we shined a light on it. Because
it was indefensible that the plea deal was zero jail time,
a slap on the wrist, which Joe Biden said, well, gosh,
that would be fair. Don't punish my son. And un understand,
this is not about Hunter, this is about Joe.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Let me tell you real quick about Patriot Mobile. If
you are sick and tired of giving your money to
woke liberal companies, then when it comes to the cell
phone space, you really need to pay attention to who
you're giving your cash to every month. Did you know
that Big Mobile gives massive donations to democratic causes, candidates,
and organizations, including organizations that pay for abortions. That's right,
(18:30):
that is what happens at Big Mobile. Now, if you're
with Big Mobile, and most of you listening right now
are with Big Mobile, you want to make the switch
to the only conservative Christian wireless provider in the country.
It is Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile has nation wide coverage.
I'm going to say that again, nationwide coverage. They use
(18:51):
the same towers that you're using right now, because with
technology in twenty twenty four, that's exactly how it works.
The same exact time that everybody else is using, you're
gonna be on. You're gonna get the same service used
to right now. And here's the best part. They take
about five percent of your bill every month at no
extra cost to you, and they give it back to
(19:12):
organizations that support our First and our Second Amendment rights.
They support the rights of unborn children. This is exactly
what Patriot Mobile does each and every day. They fight
for our veterans, our first responders, are wounded warriors, all
while you're making cell phone calls and sending text messages,
(19:34):
you're actually making a huge impact on your community. So
if you're ready to make a difference with every phone
call you make, check out Patriot Mobile. They're online at
Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson, or you can call them
nine seven to two Patriot and right now you're gonna
get a free month when you use the offer code ferguson.
So don't be fooled by other preveters pretending to share
(19:56):
your values. Join me by switching to America's only Christian
conservative mobile provider, Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile dot com slash
ferguson or nine to seven to Patriot and get a
free month of service with the promo code ferguson. Let's
talk about the length of this pardon, because I think
it's not just the pardon for these two charges, it's
(20:17):
also Hey, this covers virtually all of the corruption and
all of the sins of the Biden crime family. When
they knew they had millions of dollars coming to the
end to their son's bank account that was spending it
on drugs and everything else that we know about from
his laptop, he said, Hey, you can't go after my
(20:37):
son basically for anything. This is a pardon for all
the bad things we've done.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
Well, and listen, if you're gonna do it, you're gonna
make it as broad as possible because you don't care
about the press blowback. And at the end of the day,
Joe Biden's lost, Kamala Harris's lost. They don't care about
the political consequences. That's why it was gonna be December.
It wasn't gonna be November. It wasn't gonna be January, December.
It was gonna be the month it was. And I
want you to understand, for more than a year, Joe Biden,
(21:04):
every Democrat has been lying to the American people repeatedly
and brazenly. I want you to listen to Koreean John
Pierre in December twenty twenty three. Here's what she had
to say.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
The President would not pardon or community census for his
son Hunter. I want to make sure that that is
not going to change over the next six months. The
President's stay.
Speaker 6 (21:22):
It's still a no, it's still an I will always
email it's still a no. It will be a no.
It is a no. And I don't have anything else
to add, will he pardon his son.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
No, well, partner his son.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
No.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
And she's actually banging her hand on the podium.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
You can hear it.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
Okay, so let's play now, Kareean John Pierre in August
of twenty twenty three.
Speaker 6 (21:43):
You're back to the first question of the briefing.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
I know you said not a lot of changedes yesterday,
and that's a personal matter. But from a presidential perspective,
is there any possibility that the president would end up
pardoning his son No?
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Okay, now, let's do Joe Biden himself in June of
twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I'm extremely proud of my son Hunter. He is overcome
an addiction. He is He's one of the brightest, most
decent men I know. And I am satisfied that I'm
not going to do anything I said. I advide by
the jury decision, and I will do that and I
will not partner him.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
Okay, let's play another interview again from June of twenty
twenty four. Joe Biden again on the same topic.
Speaker 7 (22:24):
As we sit here in Normandy, your son Hunter is
on trial, and I know that you cannot speak about
an ongoing federal prosecution, but let me ask you will
you accept the jury's outcome, their verdict, no matter what
it is.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
Yes.
Speaker 7 (22:40):
And have you ruled out a pardon for your son?
Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (22:44):
I mean the guys a pathological liar everywhere we go.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Final clip. Let's let's play Kreeen John Pierre once again
on the same topic.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
The President would not pardon or community sense for his
son Hunter. I want to make sure that that is
not going to change field for the next six months.
Speaker 6 (22:59):
The President's it's still a no, It's still an egg
always be an. It's still a no. It will be
a no. It is a no. And I don't have
anything else to add. Peo will he pardoned his son.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
No, pretty consistent with their lies.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Look understand, every person listening to Joe Biden, every person
listening to Queen John Pierre knew that they were lying.
The reporter asking that question knew that they were lying.
Kreean John Pierre, she knew she was lying. And Joe
Biden every time he said it, knew he was lying.
We said on this podcast, then they are lying. And
(23:35):
it was a cynical effort to gaslight the American people.
They hoped at the time, they hoped Joe Biden would
win later, they hoped Kamala Harris would win, but they
their approach was simple, We're gonna lie to you. We're
gonna lie to you. We're gonna lie to you. Don't
you like our happy lies? And the plan was always, always,
always to issue the pardon because it covers up for
(23:56):
the criminality that Joe Biden is right at the next as.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
So let's talk about this future and the Republicans and
what they should do. There was a lot of people
asking the question, Okay, is there anything that you can
do about this? Or is this just the world we
live in now where if you're the president you can
be as corrupt as hell, if you're a Democrat and
you've got people to cover for you. Then there's people
are saying, well, hold on, what about the other crimes
(24:20):
involved the other family members. We know a lot of
payments went to a lot of people the last Saint
Biden when they were selling access to US government? Is
this the quote end of this? Politically move on? And
that's just what it is. And we all know that
he's corrupt, and we know he lied to us, we
know he abused his power, and we know he sold
access to the United States government.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Well, here is the text of the pardon that Joe
Biden signed. It is a pardon quote for those offenses
against the United States which he has committed, or may
have committed, or taken part in during the period from
January first, twenty fourteen through December first, twenty twenty four
(25:03):
including but not limited to, all offenses charged or prosecuted,
including any that have resulted in convictions by Special Counsel
David C. Weiss in Docket number one twenty three CRS
zero zero zero six y one m N in the
United States District Court for the District of Delaware and
docket number two two three CRS zero zero five nine
(25:26):
nine MCS one in the United States District Court for
the Central District of California. So, Ben, how do you
like that every single federal offense that you have committed
or you may have committed or taken a part in
for a decade from January first, twenty fourteen to December first,
twenty twenty four they're all erased clean. I don't know
(25:48):
that you could write a broader pardon other than listen,
I'm president, and I got to say, by the way,
your question, is there is there anything you can do
about it. There is very very little. The pardon power
under the Constitution is exceptionally broad. The president has the
ability to pardon any single federal offense. In this case,
he's pardoning every single federal offense Hunter Biden may or
(26:11):
may not have committed for over a decade, and those
federal offenses it is now impossible to prosecute him, impossible
to hold him liable for them. Now He's still liable
for state offenses. But there has not been There have
not been any state prosecutions, and so this is the consequence.
This was always the outcome. It's why. Look, we've talked
(26:35):
about how the impeachment power, the text of the Constitution
provides the impeachment power for treason, bribery, or other high
crimes or misdemeanors. At the end of the day, much
of the conduct that has been alleged here is in
the nature of bribery, is in the nature of paying
off millions of dollars to Joe Biden for official for
official favors. And yet the Department of Justice had zero
(26:57):
interest in examining it, The Democrats in Congress had zero
interested in examining it. In the media had zero interest
in examining it, and so as a consequence, Hunter Biden
is now going to get off scot free, which was
abundantly clear from the outset this was always the plan.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
I want to take a moment and talk to you
about IFCJ, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, wants
to wish you a blessed beginning of the holiday season
as you gather with your families, grateful for the blessings
that God has given us all, but let's also remember
those who are facing unbelievable hardship in need of food, fellowship,
(27:35):
and hope. That includes the people of Israel, who are
threatened daily by attacks from enemies on all sides. And
during these hard times, Israelis are thankful for the Fellowship
for food and basic assistance, truly life saving aid, when
the rest of the world seems to have turned its
back on them. Your gift of twenty five dollars will
(27:56):
help provide a food box to an elderly Jew or
a Wish family who are suffering and in desperate need.
A gift of one hundred dollars will help provide four
of these life saving food boxes this holiday season. Please
consider standing with Israel and the Jewish people. You can
go to SUPPORTIFCJ dot org. That's support IFCJ dot org.
(28:21):
To make a gift now, that's support IFCJ dot org.
Or you can call to give at eight to eight
for eight eight IFCJ that's eight eight eight four eight
eight four three two five. Final question, Yes, Hunter, Biden
is pardon for everything in this as you said, a
(28:44):
sweeping pardon that I've never seen before at this level
and in government from what we've seen in the history
of my lifetime, we've never seen something this broad. So
the last question I have is what about Joe Biden.
Is there anything that can be done against him? Or
is it just Hey, he's an old guy. He dropped
(29:05):
out of the race. As they said, we would have
prosecuted him for keeping classified documents, but no jury would
ever convict him because he was too senile to basically
know what he had done in the past. Is all
of that just going to be forgotten now because of age?
Speaker 4 (29:22):
Well, let me be clear, we have seen pardons this
broad before, and so if you look, for example, at
the pardon Gerald Ford issued for Richard Nixon, here is
the operative text of that pardon. Now, Therefore, I Gerald
rt Ford, President of the United States, pursuing to the
pardon power conferred upon me by Article two, Section two
of the Constitution, have granted, and by these presents, do grant,
(29:46):
a full, free and absolute pardon under Richard Nixon for
all offenses against the United States which he Richard Nixon
has committed or may have committed, or taken part in
during the period from Januar twentieth, nineteen sixty nine through
August ninth, nineteen seventy four, So that they deliberately borrowed
(30:07):
the language from the pardon of Richard Nixon. And the
idea was, this is a blanket, get out of jail
free car and it's what the Constitution gives the president
this authority, and that's exactly what they did. Now, your
question was what about Joe Biden. So Joe Biden has
not pardoned himself. I don't think he will. And at
the end of the day, when the Trump Department of
(30:27):
Justice comes into office, there will be a question do
they go and prosecute Joe Biden. My guess is the
answer will be Now that Joe Biden, his dementia has
risen to a level at this point that I think
he's probably going to ride off into the sunset and
be done. Maybe I'm wrong, but my suspicion is Joe
Biden will not face accountability for the corruption that Hunter
(30:50):
was the bag man for, and that is his entire
family profited.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
From incredible And there's gonna be a lot of people
listening right now. They're gonna be angry about this. I
understand it.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
I want to be.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
I'm angry about it too, because it looks like the
entire family, his brother, and every other Biden that was
on the take's going to get away with this in
a sense. And look, this is the corruption the Democratic Party.
This is the reason why I think Donald Trump. One
of the reasons why he won this election, why Republicans
controlled the House and Senate is people wanted there to
be accountability, at least on election day.
Speaker 4 (31:21):
By the way, let me jump in, Ben, there may
be an exception. I don't think it's impossible that the
Department of Justice prosecutes Joe Biden's brother. Joe Biden's brother.
I'm not aware of any evidence that he has dementia,
that he is serious mental diminishment, and that may be
one avenue I could see the Department of Justice investigating
(31:41):
and one challenges, Oh.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
Hold on, I'm going to ask now prediction. You made
a last prediction that was good. I want one right now.
I want you to predict whether or not before the
last day January twentieth, that Joe Biden says, screw it,
I'm going to hand out pardons of my brother or
other family members.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
I don't think it's impossible, but I doubt it. I
put it at less than fifty percent. Look, and I
think if you were to asked me to give odds,
my guess is that the Trump Department of Justice probably
doesn't prosecute Biden's brother, that there will be a sense
of this is water under the bridge. It's the prior administration.
(32:20):
It's not our concern. Let's move on. But I'm just saying,
if you were to predict one avenue and one challenge
is in terms of whether you could prosecute Biden's brother,
a major challenge would be the statute of limitation. That
many of the most corrupt actions occurred long enough that
the statute of limitations has expired. And what that means
(32:42):
statute limitations is in federal law. It's also true in
state law that there is a limit to how recently
the conduct must have occurred before you could prosecute. It's
the idea that you can't come back and prosecute you
ben for something you did twenty years ago that you
don't remember, that the evidence is stayed. Well, there's some
notion that there needs to be finality in law and
(33:02):
that prosecutions need to need to occur relatively promptly after
the criminality. And so I think much of the conduct
that that that Joe's brother has been implicated in the
statute limitations and all likelihood has expired, and so that
may prevent a prosecution. If you're going to ask me,
is there going to be another parton for his brother?
(33:23):
Probably not, but but but it's not not beyond the
realm of contemplation.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
your friends, and I'll see you back here tomorrow.
