Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is one of the best stories I've seen in
a while. It's one we all knew was happening. It
was pretty obvious. Show me the success where all the
millions and millions of dollars went to improve black lives
in many cities, Well, you cannot find it. What we
do know is the people that were running the organizations,
(00:21):
their lives were improving. And a perfect example of this
is now what we're seeing in Oklahoma City, where a
Black Lives Matter leader has been charged with wire fraud
money laundering in an alleged three point one five million
dollar embezzlement scheme.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
The executive director.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Of Black Lives Matter Oklahoma charged with wire fraud and
money laundering after federal prosecutors say she diverted more than
three point one five million and returned bail checks into
her personal bank accounts over a five year period, according
to the indictment that was unsealed. I want you to
hear how the local news channel five KOCO in Oklahoma
(01:07):
City reported the story because the national news they're not
touching this with a ten foot poll all well known
activist in Oklahoma City charged with embezzling money meant for
Black lives Matter OKC.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Reverend Tee Sharia Moore. Dickerson is charged federally with wire
fraud and money laundering. Okay, she has Olivia Hickey on
this breaking news for us right now. She joins us
live in the newsroom. What are you learning, Olivia, Yeah, guys,
this is coming into our newsroom.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
The Department of Justice claims Dickerson deposited over three million
dollars in returned bailcheck's into her personal account from the
Black Lives Matter Oklahoma City's account from June twenty twenty
till at least October of this year. Some notable expenses
the funds covered include recreational travel to Jamaica and the
Dominican Republic for herself and associates, at least fifty thousand
(01:55):
dollars in food and grocery deliveries for herself and her kids,
tens of thousands of dollars spent in retail shopping, a
personal vehicle registered in her name. Six properties in her
name or in the name of Equity International LLC, an
entity only she has control over, although according to the indictment,
she claims the church property she purchased back in twenty
twenty one was intended to be used as a BLMOKC
(02:18):
community center. The property was placed in her own name. Now.
Back in twenty twenty, the organization raised money to support
its social justice mission from online donors and national bail funds.
Over five million dollars was raised, some through grants with
national bail funds. The indictment says the money from the
grants was supposed to assist people arrested in connection to
protests for racial justice following George Floyd's death. The indictment
(02:41):
also alleges Dickerson used interstate wire Communications to submit two
false annual reports to the Alliance for Global Justice on
behalf of BLMOKC. She reported the funds were only used
for tax exempt purposes. The DOJ says she did disclose
the funds went toward personal benefits. She faces up to
twenty years in prison and up to two hundred fifty
thousand dollars for each count of wire fraud. Now within
(03:04):
the last hour, Diggerson did post to her personal Facebook
page on a Facebook live saying she's been advised by
her attorney not to comment. We did reach out to
her personally as well this afternoon. We have yet to
hear back. That indictment is now live on koco dot
com for you to view. Stick with us as a
situation unfolds.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Now, why is it that only the local media in
Oklahoma City is doing.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
A report like this?
Speaker 1 (03:27):
This is a national story at three point one five
million dollars in return bail checks going into the personal
bank account of the executive director of Black Lives Matter
Oklahoma City. And this was going on for a half
of a decade that we know about. This is a
fifty two year old reverend, right, who is literally taking
(03:51):
the and routing the money intended to go to the
group's bail fund for people to go to jail, all right,
and social justice programs, and like, nah, I'm just going
to take that and throw it into my account. From
twenty twenty to twenty twenty five, she used it for
a personal benefit. That's not a shock, right, Well, let's
go to Jamaica, all right, you want to go to
Dominican Republic. Okay, tens of thousands of dollars in retail shopping,
(04:15):
more than fifty thousand in food deliveries, by the way,
that's a lot of food, folks. I've like fifty thousand
in food deliveries. I haven't hit that in my entire lifetime.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
A vehicle and six.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Properties now, according to the Department of Justice press release
covering the indictment, and this is part of the reason
why the media is not covering this because it's just
so damning. Blm OKC raised more than six point or
five point six million beginning in twenty twenty, including major
grants from Community Justice Exchange, the Massachusetts Bail Fund in
(04:52):
the Minnesota Freedom Fund.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Those organizations run in.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
Most of the money through the Alliance for Global Justice
known as AFGJ. They served as Black Lives Matter's OKC
fiscal sponsor and required that all funds be used for
taxes and purposes permitted under the Section five oh one
C three. AFGJ also prohibited real estate purchases without its
(05:20):
approval and required blm OKC to fully account for expenditures
upon request. Now prosecutors they say that Diggerson instead deposit
at least three million, one hundred and fifty thousand in
return bail checks into her personal account rather than into
(05:41):
the blm OKAC accounts, and then used interstate wires to
submit two annual reports to the AFGC or excuse me,
the AFGJ that did not disclose her personal use of
the funds. Those are said the organization's money have been
(06:01):
used only for tax exempt purposes. Now, Dickerson served as
the group's executive director beginning in at least twenty sixteen.
So like I'm saying, well, you got to go back, right,
you got to go back and look at this whole thing.
Had access to the blm okase's bank, their PayPal and
cash app accounts. According to the indictment, I am sure
(06:25):
there's got to be something from sixteen to twenty to
look at. Prosecutors alleged the miscontent began during the period
when the National Bail Funds allowed blm OKAC to retain
portions of the return bail money to build a revolving
bail fund or support its state for I guess their
stated purpose as they described it. All Right, it's almost Christmas,
(06:48):
and if you're a Patriot, you're gonna love this. For
a limited time, Patriot Mobile is running the Red, White,
and Blue Friday promotion. You're one toier chance to get

(08:16):
and you are going to get a free month of
service patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven
to two Patriot right. Now, here's something else you need
to know. In twenty twenty, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation,
it's a separate national organization not affiliated directly with BLMOKC
(08:41):
also came under scrutiny after New York Magazine reported that
it had purchased a six million dollar California property using
donor funds. Internal memos showed senior leaders discussing how to
manage questions about the house, which the group said was
intended to serve as a well creative and community space
(09:03):
for I guess the BLM community. The reporting ignited debate
at the time of financial transparency and oversight within the
national BLM associated organizations.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
And guess what who was in charge? Then?
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Well, you had Democrats that were in charge and they said,
we don't want to look into this. Now here's the
other thing that's interesting. A federal grand jury has now
returned a twenty five count indictment charging Dickerson with twenty
counts of wire fraud and five counts of money laundering. She,
by the way, faces and this is the part that
(09:39):
I think is important. I also think it's good that
there's accountability, even if it's years later than it should
have been. Okay, she faced up to twenty years in
federal prison for each wire fraud count and up to
ten years for each money laundering count, along with potential
fines of up to two hundred fifty thousand per charge.
(09:59):
She won have that money, she won't pay it, and
let's be honest, She's not gonna go to jail for
that long, is my gut.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
Now.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
The other interesting fact about this is the case was
investigated by the FBI's Oklahoma Field Office, Oklahoma City Field Office,
and the IRS Criminal Investigation. Why was this not investigated earlier?
I can tell you why, because Joe Biden was in
bed and the Biden administration was in bed with Black
Lives Matter, and there was no way in hell they
(10:27):
were going to have the FBI investigate Black Lives Matter
OKC and the Alliance for Global Justice as well. These
were their friends. They were not going to go after them.
I have one final question on this that I think
everyone should be asking. If this was happening in OKAC,
(10:51):
was it happening at every BLM chapter around the country?
There are a lot of questions that need to be
answered about that. There has been a lot in the
news about the Somali population defrauding taxpayers at record rates,
costing you millions and millions and millions and millions of
(11:14):
taxpayers dollars in Minnesota. Well, I wish I could tell
you it's gotten better, but it isn't at all. It's
actually gotten even worse in what we're finding out about
how much money the Somali community is taking from all
of us.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
How bad is it?
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Nearly every Somali household with children is on welfare.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
New data is showing that more than eight in ten
households headed by Somali refugees in the state of Minnesota
are on one or more forms of American taxpayer funded welfare.
This new data, published by the Center for Immigration Studies
is revealing this shocking news.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Now.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
The data is actually based on ten years a decade
of data from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, known
as the ACS, and it shows drastic disparities between native
born American households and Somali born households in Minnesota, where
nearly eighty thousand residents have Somali ancestry compared to zero
(12:28):
who had Somali ancestry in nineteen ninety. In particular, the
data shows that eighty one percent of Minnesota households headed
by Somali refugees are on one or more form of welfare,
including twenty seven percent who are on cash welfare, fifty
(12:49):
four percent who are on food stamps, and seventy three
percent who are on Medicaid. Now many are on multiple
forms of government aid welfare. Now you compare this massive
welfare to Native born Americans residing in Minnesota, the numbers
(13:12):
are completely and staggeringly different, only twenty one percent of
whom are on one or more form of welfare when
it comes to American Native born, including just six percent
who are on cash welfare, seven percent who are on
(13:33):
food stamps, and eighteen percent who are on Medicaid. Now,
let me just go back through these numbers and compare them.
Of Native born Americans residing Minnesota, just six percent are
on cash welfare. Somali refugees in Minnesota, twenty seven percent
on cash welfare, and just seven percent of Native born
(13:58):
Americans residing Minnesota are on food stamps. Again, I go
back and really think about these numbers in your head.
Of the Somali refugees in Minnesota, fifty four percent of
them are on food stamps, and if you look at medicaid.
Of Native born Americans residing in Minnesota, eighteen percent are
(14:20):
on medicaid. Seventy three percent of Somali refugees are on medicaid.
That is an insane number, a number that should scare
everyone because it's unsustainable. Now, welfare use goes even higher,
(14:40):
by the way, for Somali households with children that are
in the home, the ACS data find. So that was
just in general numbers, right, like a grown woman or
a grown man. Now if you look at households with
a child in it, the numbers skyrocket even more. Eighty
nine percent of Somali headed households with children in Minnesota
(15:05):
are on one or more forms of welfare. Eighty six
percent of these households with children that are Somali headed
eighty six percent on medicaid, and this number is the
most damming. About Sixty two percent of Somali households with
(15:26):
children in the state are on food stamps and twenty
three percent take cash welfare. Now, most of these families
are on at least two forms of government aid, some
have three even four. Quote nearly every Somali household with
children receive some form of welfare. That is what the
CIS researcher Jason Witchwine said in this report. The gap
(15:51):
between Somali households with children on welfare and Native born
Americans that with children on welfare is wide. Only about
three in ten Minnesota households with children take one or
more forms of welfare. All right, so thirty percent, only
six percent on cash welfare if you're a Native born,
(16:14):
ten percent in Minnesota Native born on food stamps, and
twenty eight percent on medicaid. Eighty nine percent of sm
only headed households with children Minnesota are on one or
more forms of welfare. This goes back to what President
Donald Trump talked about a couple of days ago. Why
(16:37):
on earth would we continue to bring people into this
country that we are having to take care of indefinitely,
that are costing us countless dollars when we have plenty
of Americans that need help. First, we have countless felling schools,
(16:57):
We have people living in poverty. We still have a
homeless crisis, where our men and women that fought to
protect and serve this country. So why would we bring
in Somali's where we know that eighty nine percent of them,
if they have children, we're going to have to pay
for their life. We're eighty six percent of them are
going to be on Medicaid, We're sixty two percent of
(17:20):
them are on food stamps, and where twenty three percent
takes cash welfare and maybe even more. These numbers aren't
even close to the native born numbers. Operation Overlord the
D Day Beaches. You and I share a passion for history,

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Now.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Disparities, by the by the way, between Native born Americans
and Smali refugees of Minnesota goes deeper than welfare use.
The data also shows Somali refugees or in or near
poverty of Minnesota surpasses sixty six percent, while fewer than
two and ten Native born Minnesotas live in or near
(18:56):
the poverty line. So almost seven out of every ten
Somali refugees are living in or near the poverty line.
That number is crazy. But let's talk about are they
at least trying to become Americans? Are they trying to assimilate?
Are they trying to become a part of this country?
The refugees that have come over from Somalia. All right,
(19:19):
here's some more data for you. Just zero point seven
percent of Native born Americans in Minnesota speak English less
than very well. Almost sixty percent of Somali refugees say
they don't speak any English very well, including nearly half
of Somali refugees who have lived in Minnesota for more
(19:41):
than a decade. Samali refugees in Minnesota also tend to
be vastly less educated than their Minnesota and counterparts. Well.
Only five percent of Native born Americans in Minnesota do
not have a high school diploma, so it's actually a
very educated state. Almost forty percent of small refugees say
this saying, including more than twenty eight percent who have
(20:03):
lived in Minnesota for more than a decade, and they
still don't have the education they need to succeed at.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
A high level.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
You put all that together, this is a recipe for disaster.
We know it, and we have the data to prove it.
So why on earth are we still having these programs?
Which is the question that the President of the United
States of America has been asking, and it's one that
(20:31):
every American should want or demand an answer from it. Now,
all the data I just gave you, I really hope
you'll take it and you'll share it. I hope you
take the podcast, share it wherever you can on social media,
because this is the exact type of data that needs
to get out there. It brings me to another story
(20:52):
that I also want to bring up, and it's about
exactly what is happening with immigration in general. There's other
shocking news that has come out from the HUD secretary
warning that illegal immigration is pushing home prices higher than
you can imagine in new comments that have come out
(21:12):
as the agency has released a damning report on the
housing market strain. And if you are an American that
wants to own a home, it's harder now than it's
been in my lifetime. There is a lack of affordability
and home prices have gotten incredibly high, making those forty
and under in essence, renters, not home owners. The Housing
(21:37):
and Urban Development Secretary of Scott Turner slammed the Biden
administration for what he called an illegal immigration and refugee
crisis that has rattled the housing market, particularly for low
income renters. There is more shocking details that he explained
on Fox News Channel, and I want you to hear
(21:58):
what he had to say to Kaylee Mcananny.
Speaker 5 (22:00):
I'm joined now by Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner.
Secretary Turner, you know it was interesting. I was watching
some of your interviews this week, and you actually linked
a legal immigration to part of the reason we have
a housing crisis.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
Well, good morning, Kley, it's always great to be with you.
And yes, during the Biden administration, the immigration policies crippled
our nation over twelve million illegal immigrants, so illegal aliens
came across our border, really stifling our housing affordability and
supply issue in our country. And when you have this
many illegal aliens coming over taking homes that are supposed
(22:35):
to be for the American people, affordability is are automatically
going to go up. Kayley, here's an interesting stat for you.
Fifty nine percent of illegal alien families use one or
more welfare programs in America, costing US about forty two
billion dollars a year. And so we have to get
the immigration policy in order, which President Trump has done
(22:57):
and others in our administration. But yes, legal immigration has
definitely stifled housing affordability and supply.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
One of the things that I think is really fantastic
about the Trump administration is you're always coming up with
new ideas, whether it be tariff dividends, the healthcare payments,
and in your case, you're in housing we've heard about
this idea of a portable mortgage, perhaps a fifty year mortgage,
and that we could debate the efficacy of all these ideas,
but you're coming up with solutions. Tell us about some
of those conversations. Do you all get in a room
(23:25):
and just plan and think, how can we help the
American people? Here's some new ideas.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
Yes, Kelly, you know all too well, having us served
so faithfully in the first administration that President Trump not
only as a strategist, but he executes on ideas. And
so right now there's many ideas, a myriad of ideas
on the table as it pertains a housing affordability and
helping first time home buyers in America. I hear it,
(23:50):
You hear it, gen Z, Millennials and others, and how
we're going to be able to afford a home. And
so not only do we understand it, but you have
people leadership in this country getting together, getting stakeholders together,
industry experts to see what is the best feasible and
appropriate path that we can take to open up a
building in our country. And I will say, in addition
(24:11):
to that, Kayley, the regulatory environment is burden some in
our country, and so at HUD we've taken down burdened
some regulations affirmatively further in fair housing, which made HUD
and National Zoning Board, restoring local control back to the cities,
back to the states, back to the localities. And we're
encouraging every locality take inventory of your regulatory environment to
(24:34):
see how you can unleash building and development in yours
said community. And so these ideas taking down the regulatory environment,
public private partnerships are all part of the plan.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
I go back to one of the things that Turner
said there the quote unchecked legal immigration and open borders
policies allowed by the Biden administration continue to put significant
strength on housing pricing out American families. These policies plagued
Americans housing market, but in Trump's presidency, Americans finally have
(25:06):
a leader fighting to restore the sanity for American immigration policy.
You look at this report and Hudd's twenty twenty five
report also found that increased immigration has driven up the
price you're paying for a house and that unrestricted nature
(25:27):
of the influx has both strained the housing market. And
this is from the report Priced Out Many American Families.
Report found that an estimated fifteen million illegal immigrants, constant
thirty percent of all foreign born residents now. Turner also
(25:48):
added that HUD took away federal housing authority back mortgages
from illegal immigrants offered during the Biden administration, saying the
former president turned a blind eye of the issue. So
you were literally like our government was giving out the
loans and backing the loans of illegal immigrants. Now in California,
(26:09):
right sanctuary state, New York a sanctuary state as well,
immigrants they now say this report of accounting for one
hundred percent of all rental growth and over one half
of all growth in owner occupied housing in recent years.
So if you're trying to find affordable housing in California
or New York as a state, good luck, because immigrants
(26:31):
have accounting for one hundred percent of all rental growth
and over one half of all growth in the owner
occupied housing in recent years. Nationally, there's also a major
concern the foreign born population now accounts for more than
sixty percent of the growth in rental demand. Nationwide, the
(26:52):
foreign born population accounted for two thirds of renal demand growth.
HUDDS report also says that if we don't stop this,
they're going to have Americans that literally cannot afford to
live in America, is what the synopsis is. Because there
is such a competitive marketplace for renal properties, and you
(27:13):
can't afford to buy a home, so what is your option.
That's something that every American should be thinking about. And
it's exactly why, by the way, the President of the
United States America is taking this subject on saying we
have to stop it now. Don't forget to share this podcast,
by the way, with your family and your friends on
