Speaker 1 (00:00):
We've got quite a few big stories to talk about today,
including the White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt holding her
first official White House Press briefing, and the room is
very different than it was during Biden and Harris's time.
There are new members that are back in the White
House that have been kicked out of the White House
(00:20):
when they were in office.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
What did that do? It changed the entire dynamic of
the question. We'll have that for you as well. Coming up.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Also, Sean Duffy confirmed as a Transportation Secretary in a
seventy seven to twenty two vote, and there are others
that will be confirmed.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
I'll give you the latest details on that.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
And finally, Donald Trump has halted three trillion in federal
grants for review of compliance.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
With a new executive order.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Before I get to all that, there is a story
though that I just got to start with and it
actually just made me laugh.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
And this is a moment that you should enjoy.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
We saw a bunch of media that been exiled from
the White House Press briefing room get to come back.
That's always a good thing for the freedom of the press.
We also saw the White House using the same strategy
that he used during the campaign. We don't give a
crap about ABCNBCCBS, the legacy media. We're going to open
up the press briefing room to podcasters and others that
are more conservative in media and talk to them. We're
(01:19):
not going to go through CNN anymore or any of
these others that lie deliberately about this administration. You're more
than welcome to be in the room, You're more than
welcome to answer questions, but we're not going to sit
here every day and just get in a fight with
you when you're not covering the news. This has had
repercussions in mainstream media.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
What do I mean by that.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
We're seeing layoffs at ABCNBCCBS, we're saving huge layoffs at
CNN and Jim Acostam, the guy who became famous for
ripping on Donald Trump from twenty sixteen to twenty twenty,
while he's now out of a job at CNN, quote
leaving CNN because they tried to banish him apparently to
like Midnight.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
I'm not joking about that. Now.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
The media's obsession with themselves and they're in their moral
high ground and grand standing that we're better than other people.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
That is not stopped.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
All right, Jim Acosta exit CNN with one last self
serving virtue signal about how great he is for America. Right,
because he's a member of the media and he should
be a king and a god to all of us.
He signed off his show for a final time after
eighteen years at CNN, and this is his last words
(02:32):
he had to say the American people. Now, I want
to play it for you in just a second, but
first we want to tell you about our friends over
Patriot Mobile.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
While we may have won the election.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
The fight to restore our great nation is only beginning,
and now is the time for you to take a
stand with your dollars, and Patriot Mobile is leading the
charge with conservative companies that are fighting back. They are
America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. I use them, I
know hundreds of others that use them personally, family friends,
(03:01):
business owners that I know have switched to Patriot Mobile
because they offer a way to vote with your wallet
without compromising on quality or convenience. You may not know,
but Big Mobile gives big donations to democratic causes, candidates
and organizations. Radical organizations, including those that advocate support and
pay for abortions That is why I made the switch
(03:24):
to Patriot Mobile, because Patriot Mobile isn't just about providing
exceptional cell phone service. It's a call to action to
defend our rights and freedoms. With Patriot Mobile, every time
you pay your bill, you are giving back to causes
that sent up for our First and our Second Amendment rights,
the sanctity of life, as well as standing with our veterans,
our wounded warriors, and our first responders.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Now, switching is easy.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Keep your same number, keep your same phone you have,
or upgrade to a new one. They have a one
hundred percent US based customer service team that will help
you find the perfect plan.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
So right now, go to Patriotmobile.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Dot com slash ferguson or call them ninety seven to
two Patriot. You're going to get a free month of
service with the promo code ferguson. So switch to Patriot
Mobile and make a difference with every call you make
Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to
two Patriot. All right, So take a listen to Jim
(04:19):
Acosta CNN. This is his final virtue signal to America,
his middle finger to Donald Trump, his anger for losing
his show.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Just wanted to end today's show by thanking all of
the wonderful people who work behind the scenes at this network.
You may have seen some reports about me and the show,
and after giving all of this some careful consideration and
weigh an alternative time slot, syeing an offer me, I've
decided to move on. I am grateful to CNN for
the nearly eighteen years I've spent here doing the news.
(04:49):
People often ask me if the highlight of my career
at CNN was at the White House covering Donald Trump.
Actually no, that moment came here when I covered four
President of Barack Obama's trip to Cuba in twenty sixteen
and had the chance to question the dictator there, Raul Castro,
about the island's political prisoners. As the son of a
(05:10):
Cuban refugee, I took home this lesson. It is never
a good time to bow down to a tyrant. I've
always believed it's the job of the press to hold
power to account. I've always tried to do that here
at CNN, and I plan on going doing all of
that in the future. One final message, don't give into
the lies. Don't give into the fear. Hold on to
(05:33):
the truth and to hope, even if you have to
get out your phone record that message. I will not
give into the lies. I will not give into the fear.
Post it on your social media so people can hear
from you too. I'll have more to say about my
plans in the coming days, but until then, I want
to thank all of you for tuning in. Has been
(05:53):
an honor to be welcomed into your home for all
these years. That's the news reporting from Washington. I'm a
costa there.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
It is eighteen years coming to an end.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Now, let's talk about his words there at his grandstanding
Number one, to equate Donald Trump with a dictator in
Cuba is laughable. The fact that he does it while
losing power is also hysterical. The media is losing their
power for the same reason that Donald Trump is moving
(06:26):
the seats around at the White House Press briefing room.
They're saying, you guys are no longer winning in this country.
People aren't listening to you. Podcasts, by the way, is
what won this last election. There's no doubt in my
mind that the strategy that Donald Trump implemented to go
on podcast shows, some of them that are quote non
political and to talk directly to the American people. Made the difference.
(06:50):
It used to be you had to go through the
media to get elected, that you had to go through
the media to even get your poll numbers up right,
Not anymore, and the bias in the media is incredibly clear,
and I think that's part of the reason why people
are not watching.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Let me give you another example.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
There was a new research study that just came out,
and in this research study, the legacy media obsessed over
Donald Trump's pardons of January sixth protesters, spending forty three
minutes covering it. That is, ABC, CBS, NBC evening news
(07:27):
shows between January the twentieth and the twenty second, so
over a two day period, these legacy networks were completely
obsessed with Donald Trump partying anyone connected to January sixth,
Biden partning is family coverage. You want to know much
time it received just three minutes, So ABC, NBC, and
(07:50):
CBS spend forty six minutes over two days covering Donald
Trump's partying of January six protesters and just three minutes
covering Joe Biden partning his family to cover up the
Biden crime family criminal activity that is how much the
liberal media is still obsessed with trying to change this
(08:11):
country by misleading and lying to us. The best part
is people seem to be understanding it, and they're turning
it off. A constant announcing on air he's leaving CNN
and says it's never a good time to bow down
to a tyrant. Don't give into the lies his last
words on air. I'm sure he feels brave and bold.
(08:32):
What he doesn't understand is the fact. And I believe this.
He's the reason why Donald Trump won the election because
people watched him and he saw him lie to the
American people and people are like, yeah, I'm not all
about this.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
I don't believe the media anymore.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
They lied to us about COVID, they lied to us
about lockdown, they lied to us about mass they lied
to us about the you know, just two weeks to
you know, get of the spread and everything else, stop
the spread. And they lied to us about Joe Biden.
They lied to us about the Biden crime family. Why
the hell would we listen to any of them ever? Again,
(09:12):
that is what's happening right now. You'll look at the
broader picture with our media right now and look, for
four years, they have been able to just report propaganda
and they've been on a lot to you without anybody
really being able to challenge them.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
I'll give you another example of this.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Jake Tapper had on Stephen Miller from the White House,
someone that he has attacked for the last four years.
These worst person in the world. Now Steven Miller's back
to the White House. And so of course, immediately seeing that,
Jake Tapper tried to ask a quote gotcha question on
illegal immigration, and I want you to listen to how
Stephen Miller fought back, because this is what we need
(09:54):
more of. And he basically said, I'm going to say
for thirty minutes to explain the topic to you. You'll
understand it. You're not going to just run out the
clock on us and attack us. We're playing at a
different level now. And this is part of the reason
why CNN has lost so many viewers, is why they're
having to laugh hundreds and hundreds of their employees this week.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
Listen, jobs many Americans do not want to do. So,
how do you how does President Trump make sure that
the effort to deport people who are not in this
country legally doesn't end up hurting Americans who want safe
borders absolutely but also don't want to see even more
(10:35):
higher prices and groceries.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Now, let's be clear about the premise this.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Jake Tapper is saying that the only sane way to
look at deportations is to say, we shouldn't be deporting
that many illegal immigrants because they're giving us cheaper labor
for food. And so if you care about Americans, then
don't hurt them by deporting illegal immigrants are here, because
it's going to make them pay higher prices. Right, So
this is the EDI mind trick that they're genuinely hoping
(11:02):
is going to work on many of us, saying all right,
well, well just tell everybody that if we deport people, what's
going to happen is you guys are gonna you can't
afford to buy food for your kids, and people are
going to starve, right, so listen.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Now, Steven Miller responds to that, Well, I mean.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
I'm sure it's not your position, Jake.
Speaker 6 (11:19):
You're just asking the question that we should supply America's
food with exploitative illegal alien labor. I obviously don't think
that's what you're implying. Only one percent of alien workers
in the entire country work in agriculture. The top destination
for illegal aliens are large cities like New York, like
Los Angeles, and small industrial talents of course, all across
(11:43):
the heartlet. As we've seen with the Biden floods, none
of those illegal aliens are doing farm work. Those thirty
thousand legal aliens that Joe Biden dumped into springs.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
I'm talking about the ones that a no, but but no.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
But I'm explaining this. It's important understanding.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
Now you're kind of changing with I mean, I will,
I will go.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
I give me thirty minutes. All goes deep becase you
want to. I don't, audience, I don't have.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
A fair I'm talking about the ones that could that
work in.
Speaker 5 (12:06):
The agriculture industry.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
What I mean, I'm just plaining back about the ones
in the cities.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
I swear I'll do. I'll do the whole answer.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
The illegal aliens that Joe Biden brought into our country
are not full stop doing farm work. They are not
the illegal aliens he brought in from Venezuela, from Haiti,
from Nicarauagua. They are not doing farm work. They are
inner cities collecting welfare. As for the farmers, there is
a guest worker program that President Trump supports. Over time
as well, we will transition into automation so we'll never
(12:35):
have to have this conversation ever again. But there's no
universe in which this nation is going to allow the
previous president to flutter a nation with millions and millions
of illegal aliens who.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
Just get to stay here.
Speaker 6 (12:47):
And we are especially not going to allow a subset
of those illegal aliens to rape and murder our citizens.
So we are going to unapologetically enforcer immigration laws. And
as I'm sure you will celebrate, we are going to
unleash the power and might US government to eradicate the
presence of transnational threats on our soil.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
I love the position of people like Steven Miller. They're like,
we're not taking these questions sitting down.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
We're just not.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Secretary Christineom put out a seven am video this morning,
and it was a very simple video that she put out.
She was wearing a police ice vest ice hat and
her video this is all she said. It was three
seconds long.
Speaker 6 (13:29):
Here in New York City this morning, we are geting
dirt bates off these streets.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
We are in New York City this morning. Quote getting
the dirt bags off the streets. This is back to
what Donald Trump was elected to do. Enforcement operations in
cities that were sanctuary cities. And this enforcement operations in
New York City criminal aliens with kidnapping, assault, and burglary
(13:53):
charges now in Cussey thanks to Ice. All of this
could have been done by the last administration. They could
have gotten these criminals and gotten in the hell out
of this country, but they didn't care. They wanted them
to live among us. And let's go back to the
other lie. There's another lie that was happening at the
White House. And it was a lie they could have
(14:16):
told you about. Now I don't understand what the point
of this was, but they decided to lie to you
about it.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
You may remember.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
These drones that were up there in New Jersey and
the White House was saying it's no threat to society,
but not giving you any more information. And everybody was
putting videos up and wondering, is this UFOs?
Speaker 2 (14:36):
What is this? Well?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
President Trump issued a statement on the New Jersey drone
phenomenon at the start of his first White House Press
conference run by the new Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, And
this is part of the promises kept promises made part
of this administration. He said he was going to give
a briefing and tell the American people what the hell
(14:59):
was going on in New Jersey. Now we found out
that the other administration could have been transparent. They could
have told you what was actually happened happening, they chose
not to listen.
Speaker 7 (15:12):
An update on the New Jersey drones. After research and study,
the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large
numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for
research and various other reasons.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Hold on a second, So the US government authorized the
drones in New Jersey to be flown for research reasons,
and they could have told the American people that, but
they deliberately decided not to be transparent with the American people.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
So the question is why was it just going to
screw with us?
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Is it because they want to cover up what they
were studying and what their research was for. Keep listening
to the White House again, giving you transparency.
Speaker 7 (15:56):
Many of these drones were also hobbyists, recreational and private
individuals that enjoy flying jones in meantime, in time, it
got worse due to curiosity. This was not the enemy.
A statement from the President of the United States to
start this briefing with some news.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
How hard would that have been to be that transparent
if you were Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Why weren't
they that transparent? Why wouldn't the White House Press briefing
room that transparent with the American people? They should have been,
they deliberately chose not to. There was people that were
fearful and afraid and scared. Hell, I know people that
(16:37):
didn't go to the inauguration because they were afraid of
what was going on with these drones, and they were
worried about it with good reason. We even saw the
media reporting that the President's cars had.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
Anti drone.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Technology on the rooftops of these of their cars, the SUVs,
because they were so concerned about drones. There was real
nervousness and paranoia, not just in New Jersey but around
the country from this. And they could have cleaned it
up real quick and cleared it up for the American
people because they love for you to be terrified, and
then the government say, but don't worry, We're the ones
(17:12):
keeping you safe. There is also another mic drop moment
from the press briefing room when Caroline Levitt completely destroyed
the legacy media's lies to their face. I want you
to listen to what she said about the mission at
the White House and also her job.
Speaker 7 (17:29):
Speaking on behalf of the President of the United States.
That is my job, and I will say, it's very
easy to speak truth from this podium when you have
a president who is implementing policies that are wildly popular
with the American people. And that's exactly what this administration
is doing. It's correcting the lies and the wrongs of
the past four years, many of the lies that have
(17:50):
been told to your faces in this very briefing room.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
I will not do that.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
But since you brought up truth seek, I would like
to point out, while I vow to provide the truth
from this podium, we ask that all of you in
this room hold yourselves to that same standard. We know
for a fact there have been lies that have been
pushed by many legacy media outlets in this country about
this president, about his family, and we will not accept that.
(18:14):
We will call you out when we feel that your
reporting is wrong or there is misinformation about this White
House so yes, I will hold myself to the truth,
and I expect everyone in this room to do the same.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I will hold myself to the truth.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
That is something the former White House Press Secretary Jean
Pierre could never say with a straight face.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Well, let me give you.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Another example of just some of the lies that are
being told. And it's not just you know, former White
House Press secretaries that lie to you in the Democratic
Party or CNN. It's also the Democrats that are elected officials.
The Boston mayor, Mayor WU said today that she's angry
(18:57):
at Bill Malusian and Fox News Channel for sensationalizing, as
you described it, and stoking greater fear about deportations.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
I want you to listen her words.
Speaker 8 (19:11):
But with Fox News embedded, going along with doctor Phil
with this element of wanting to sensationalize and stoke greater
fear about it. So we know that the federal government
will continue to do what they do on the federal side.
We will continue to do what we do on the
city side, which is keeping everyone safe here. And we
(19:32):
don't have the authority to, let's say, stop or overrule
what they're doing in their domain, but neither do they
in our domain.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Either translation, I am the mayor Boston, and I'm not
going to help the federal government get rid of the
worst people in Boston.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
They were there illegally.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Bill Illusion at Fox put out a very simple tweet
about this. He said, Mayor Wu should spend less time
worrying about Fox News and more time why international fugitives, murders, rapists, pedophiles,
and Haitian gang members with seventeen convictions in two years
have decided to set up shop in her sanctuary city
(20:15):
and roam freely until ICE arrests them. Now, what you
need to understand about what this mayor saying is she's saying, look,
we know we've caught a lot of these people. We
know that, and we know that we have them in Cussy,
and that we didn't tell Ice on purpose because we
care more about fundamentally changing the city and bringing in
future voters and giving them amnesty no matter who they are,
(20:37):
what horrific crimes they're committing in our city. And then says, oh,
and by the way, we're gonna don't worry.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
We're gonna keep you safe. They're not keeping you safe.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
These are the people that are actually being arrested in
Boston right now, and she's like, well, doctor Phil, going
out and showing these people getting arrested is just stoking fear. No,
it's making people feel safer because these communities are witnessing
ICE actually getting to do their job. For the last
four years. It was I had a Border Patrol agent
(21:08):
yesterday say to me, and he goes, I wish there
was a way that you or somebody could explain this
to the American people that I want you to imagine
for the last four years where you live, none of
the bad guys being arrested, and then knowing where all
of them are, and then one day, because of a
new person coming into office, we get to go out
(21:29):
and start four years ago and backlog all of the
people that should have been arrested.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
That is what ICE is doing right now.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
For the last four years, ICE is known about these
people and couldn't get them because of the local communities
that refused to tell them when they were arrested. Right
local police in Boston, perfect example. This mayor a great
example whether it's here, California or any of these other
woke liberal esties, including New York City. And so for
four years there's been in essence, zero justice with these
(21:59):
illegal immigrants.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Zero justice with illegal immigrants. Zero. I want you to
just think about that.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
And so now they're doing it, and yet these mayors
are like, no, no, you're totally safe. No, no, you're
totally fine. No, no, everything's okay. And it's not just
on these issues. I'm going to give you another story
that is also an extremely important one. There's been a
lot of debate, for example, over the Panama Canal and
who's in charge of it. It looks very clearly like
(22:30):
the people that are in charge are actually China Center
Ted Cruz praise President Trump for calling out the abuse
of the Panama Canal that now the world is witnessing
and watching. Because the media is not telling you this
story doesn't mean it's an unimportant story because they're not
telling you. In fact, they're not telling the story because
(22:52):
of just how shocking the abuse is at the Panama Canal.
But I want you to hear the facts about the
Panama Canal. And this this is now Washington, DC responding
to Donald Trump basically raising his hand and saying, we
got a problem, and it's a problem that's really bad,
(23:12):
and we need to deal with this problem.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
And not look the other way any longer.
Speaker 9 (23:16):
We're here today to examine a monument to American ingenuity,
the Panama Canal. Senator Moreno down there suggested we open
the hearing by playing Van Halen and Panama. We may
not do that, But between the American construction of the
(23:36):
Panama Canal, the French effort to build an Isthmus Canal
an America's triumphant completion of that canal, the major infrastructure
projects across Panama cost more than thirty five thousand lives.
For the final decade of work on the Panama Canal,
the United States spent nearly four hundred million dollars equivalent
(24:01):
to more than fifteen billion today. The Panama Canal proved
a truly invaluable asset, sparing both cargo ships and warships
the long journey around South America. When President Carter gave
it away to Panama, Americans were puzzled, confused, and many outraged.
(24:25):
With the passage of time, many have lost sight of
the canal's importance, both to national security and to the
US economy. Not President Trump, when he demanded fair treatment
for American ships and goods, many in the media scoffed,
But the Panama Canal was not just given away. President
(24:48):
Carter struck a bargain, He made a treaty, and President
Trump is making a serious and substantive argument that that
treaty is being violated right now. This committee has jurisdiction
under the Senate rules over the Panama Canal, and today
we will examine evidence of potential violations. President Trump has
highlighted two key issues. Number one, the danger of China
(25:11):
exploiting or blocking passage through the canal, and number two,
the exorbitant costs for transit. Chinese companies are right now
building a bridge across the canal at a slow pace
so as to take nearly a decade, and Chinese companies
control container points ports at either end. The partially completed
(25:35):
bridge gives China the ability to block the canal without warning,
and the ports give China ready observation post to take
to time that action.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
This situation, I.
Speaker 9 (25:47):
Believe poses acute risks to US national security.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
You listen to what Senata Cruz is saying there, this
is a major national security risk, and this hearing on
the pane and how this could affect the US economy
is huge and of course the media is like, oh no, no,
this isn't a big story. This is an important story,
don't worry about it's Panama Canal. This Donald Trump being crazy.
When you hear this type of information, every member of
(26:15):
the media should actually be reporting on it, and they're not,
which is why I do this show. That's why the
White House is bringing in podcasters like myself to the
White House Press briefing, and it's why they're saying we're
not relying on legacy media any longer to do their job.
I'll give you another important story that you will not
(26:36):
hear about. In fact nine nine point nin I'm just
seing you this the first time you're going to hear
this story. You remember the gang leaders that were shown
on TV that were behind the Denver apartment takeovers, and
you had actual members of the local like, look, it's
not that big of a deal. Everybody calmed down, like
it's just a few apartment complexes, and then the mainstream
(26:57):
media said the same exact thing to jd.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Vance.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
You may remember, I think it was Martha Raddick who
said to jedda, Vance was just a couple buildings, and
jad was like.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Listen to yourself.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
These gangs have literally taken over apartment complexes and you're
acting like this isn't a big deal.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Oh, it's just a few buildings in Colorado.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Well, that gang leader that was behind the Denver apartment
takeover fled Colorado and guess where he was found in
a sanctuary state. He was found in the Bronx and
he was arrested in the last twenty four hours. Biden,
let this guy roam the streets terrorizing Americans. We had
(27:43):
it on video of them with their machine guns, breaking
into apartments, threatening the landlords, making it a no go
zone apparently for the police, and taking over these apartment
complexes for their criminal activities and human trafficking. And then
all of a sudden, you got a new guy who's like, hey,
(28:05):
I'm going to find him.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Let's lock this guy up, and they did it week one.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
You have to understand this time, it is going to
be a long four years. The media is going to
fear monger. The media is going to fear monger on
all sorts of issues. Today that the media was fear
mongering about Trump's pause on federal grants to various agencies
and institutions, and then they put out a live story
that social Security checks.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Were not going to go out. I want you hear.
The White House pre Secretary responded that lie.
Speaker 10 (28:37):
I just thought a substitute question yesterday of the White
House Office and Management and Budget directed across the board
freeze the subtis for individual assistance. We understand to federal grants.
It's caused a lot of confusion around the country, head
Start providers, among providers service services to homeless veterans, Medicaid
(28:58):
provided states saying they're having trouble access the portal. Could
you help us clear up some of the condusion gives
them the certainty to folks then, also, is that uncertainty?
How does that uncertainty service the President's voters?
Speaker 7 (29:10):
Well, I think there's only uncertainty in this room. Amongst
the media. There's no uncertainty in this building. So let
me provide the certainty and the clarity that all of
you need. This is not a blanket pause on federal
assistance in grant programs from the Trump administration. Individual assistance
that includes I'm not naming everything that's included, but just
to give you a few examples, Social Security benefits, Medicare benefits,
(29:34):
food stamps, welfare benefits, assistance that is going directly to
individuals will not be impacted by this pause. And I
want to make that very clear to any Americans who
are watching at home who may be a little bit
confused about some of the media reporting this administration. If
you are receiving individual assistance from the federal government, you
will still continue to receive that. However, it is the
(29:56):
responsibility of this president and this administration to be good
words of taxpayer dollars. That is something that President Trump
campaigned on. That's why he has launched DOGE, the Department
of Government Efficiency, who is working alongside OMB, and that's
why OMB sent out this memo last night, because the
President signed an executive order directing OMB to do just this.
(30:18):
And the reason for this is to ensure that every
penny that is going out the door is not conflicting
with the executive orders and actions that this president has taken.
So what does this pause mean. It means no more
funding for illegal DEI programs. It means no more funding
for the Green new scam that has cost American taxpayers
tens of billions of dollars. It means no more funding
(30:40):
for transgenderism and wokeness across our federal bureaucracy and agencies.
No more funding for Green New Deal social engineering policies.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
So yet again they lied.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
The media lied to scare the hell out of old people,
people on food stamps, people on pensions, people on social security,
people that deal with Medicare and Medicaid, because they're trying
to turn the country against Trump, and they're going to
do it with lies, and every day we're going to
have to fight back. Make sure you share this podcast
